The Triumph of Mordecai by Pieter Lastman, 1624.
Several comparisons apply to this President, with Cyrus of Persia being the clearest. (See Isaiah 45) However, I can’t stop meditating on the striking similarities between Trump and Mordecai the Jew, in the Book of Esther. Mordecai’s mortal enemy was Haman, the Agagite (more on Agag and the spirit of Amalek). Haman deviously plotted to kill Mordecai and all the Jews of the Persian Empire.
Haman even built a gallows 75 feet high to hang Mordecai. But in the end, the plot was reversed a hundred and eighty degrees through the intervention of Esther (thus the title of the book). The turnaround was so complete that Haman was hung on his own gallows and the King decreed that the Jews could rise up and defend themselves. The application to Israel today is unmistakable.
So let’s get to my point regarding President Trump. He is likewise the subject of a devious plot to destroy him. But I see a complete reversal about to unfold that will be nothing short of miraculous. The truth will come out that there was no Trump/Russia collusion, and the hidden plot will be revealed, exposing real Russia collusion. Also, it will lead to the destruction of the plotters.
Therefore, we must pray and intercede even more for righteousness, truth and justice to prevail. Mordecai’s word to Queen Esther applies to us. We called as prophetic intercessors for this very hour.
“Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:13-14
Symbolism, Imagery, Allegory – Here is a summary:
At the end of the Book of Esther, the world gets turned upside down (or, right-side up): the bad guy who seemed to be on the verge of a horrible victory gets hanged, the good guy takes his place in the king’s court, and the party of people about to commit a massacre become massacred themselves. Everything runs in reverse, overturning all expectations.
As for the gallows itself, well, it’s really big (75 feet)—outlandishly and pointlessly so. It demonstrates the egotism and wicked madness of Haman to the world (even though building it was technically his wife’s idea). He constructs the gallows as a horrible, over-the-top way of pursuing an unjust personal vendetta—killing Mordecai—but it backfires and ends up being used to kill the person who built it. The irony—the ancient irony! https://www.shmoop.com/esther/gallows-symbol.html
We know we are near a conclusion of the Russian collusion story. The question is which way it will go. Look for major surprises opposite from what the anti-Trumpers are expecting. Of course, in the end only Yehovah God knows, so we pray for His mercy and His purpose to be accomplished, for us and for Israel. As long as our president continues to stand with Israel, our nation will be blessed.
As I finish this post, the limited strike on Syrian chemical assets has been announced. The fact that one facility was in Damascus reminds of the Isaiah 17 prophecy of its destruction. This was not it tonight, but we are in the prophetic timing where it could happen very soon. Pray and watch for God’s plan.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Last weekend this flag was flying on the Gaza border. Hamas does not hide its goal, which is not for its own state, but for the death of all Jews and indeed the complete destruction of the nation of Israel. Notice the Nazi swastika flying between the two Palestinian flags.

Turquoise water — tan sand — and a tangerine sun! It was without question one of the most beautiful and indescribable sights of my life. Words fail to adequately portray the splendor on that exquisite shore of the timeless Red Sea. My friend, Duane Trochessett, and I had just come from Jerusalem in January 1990. We had participated in the most powerful prayer conference we had ever attended. After speaking to a congregation in Tiberias on Shabbat, Israel’s Sabbath, we traversed Israel from Galilee in the North, to the southernmost Israeli seaport of Elat. This modern city is located at the northern tip of the Red Sea. From there, we endured a rickety Egyptian public bus ride five hours further south through the Sinai Peninsula to a spot near its southernmost point. We lugged a two-man tent with us, which we pitched on a deserted stretch of Red Sea beach, a few miles north of Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.

And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

Europe’s Self-Islamization
18 04 2018Here is the start of the article, followed by a link to continue reading the conclusion. Please take a few minutes to read and consider the author’s warning of the growing trend of the Islamization of Europe.
We need to pray for Europe and for our own nation. This is not a passing phase of history, it is the future, unless we wake up now. The problem is not immigration, the danger is illegal migration. There is a difference. We need to be open to legal immigration, but stop migration without assimilation.
I am not lacking in compassion. It is not possible to take in all the world’s desperately needy people. Spiritually, we can help most my sharing the Messiah with them. Jesus died for Muslims and loves Muslims as much as He loves anyone else. We can help a tiny bit by taking in a relatively few refugees, but what we pray for is complete salvation of every nation. This too is very Biblical.
Pray for Europe, pray for the U.S. and pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
