Yehovah Has the Final Say!

Abbas anti-Jew

Last week I wrote about the phased re-opening of various states after the virus panic. Today I show parallels with Joshua conquering ancient Canaan, and modern Israel re-claiming Judea and Samaria. Citizens of the U.S. must re-take our constitutional freedoms phase by phase. The same was true for Joshua. Israel did not just move into the Land at once. They had to win it city by city, tribe by tribe.

Also, do not make the mistake of accusing Israel of an immoral or illegal enterprise in possessing the Land. It was promised to them by Yehovah God 500 years earlier. God gave Israel the Land because the Canaanites worshiped false gods, shed innocent blood (human sacrifice), and lived in perverse immorality. Leviticus 18 and 20 give graphic detail of the abominations. Yehovah then warns Israel that if they do the same iniquity they too will be cast out of the Land.

“You must keep all my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice; otherwise the land to which I am bringing you as your new home will vomit you out. Do not live according to the customs of the people I am driving out before you. It is because they do these shameful things that I detest them. But I have promised you, ‘You will possess their land because I will give it to you as your possession—a land flowing with milk and honey.’ I am YEHOVAH your God, who has set you apart from all other people.” Leviticus 20:22-24 NLT

Even so, God did not hand it to them on a silver platter. They had to win it city by city. I think we all find that true in our own lives. Growing in grace with the Lord Jesus is a process in which we only conquer with the power of the Holy Spirit. Self-control is not an act of our will, it the fruit of walking in the Holy Spirit. Eventually, we learn to yield to His control, not by strength of will-power, but by the choice of our will to yield.

Likewise, even though President Trump’s deal of the century allows Israel to extend sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, they must do it phase by phase. It can begin July 1. Pray for wisdom and unity for the new government as they proceed. Since the Palestinians have rejected the plan, Israel is free to act with U.S. backing.

State Dept. Ready to Recognize Application of Israeli Law in West Bank TEL AVIV – The U.S. on Monday said it was ready to recognize Israel’s annexation of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, but asked Israel’s newly formed unity government to also negotiate with the Palestinians. “As we have made consistently clear, we are prepared to recognize Israeli actions to extend Israeli sovereignty and the application of Israeli law to areas of the West Bank that the vision foresees as being part of the State of Israel,” a U.S. State Department spokesperson said.

We are moving into exciting and dangerous times. Pray now more than ever for the God of Israel to show the way of peace. It is not in trading land for peace, but in possessing the Land of Promise according to Yehovah’s Plan of Eternity. This is the path to the soon coming of Messiah Yeshua and true peace for Jerusalem.

Palestinians to Suspend Recognition of Israel

15 01 2018

Dry Bones Meet the PressThere is a new phenomena in the Muslim Middle East. Leaders are showing their true colors responding to President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. What used to be only spoken in Arabic for “internal” communication, is now being said out loud before the watching world. It is a good thing. Here are several articles from this week that make my point.

Palestinians to Suspend Recognition of Israel – RAMALLAH  — Palestinian leaders voted on Monday to call for the suspension of recognition of Israel, and to suspend security coordination with Israel, as they met in response to US President Donald Trump’s acknowledgement of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The speech in which Abbas dug his own grave –  While wishing the POTUS’ “house be destroyed” in traditional Arab fashion, Abbas may have destroyed his own house…  Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of  the Palestine Liberation Organization, has delivered a speech triggered by his rage at the  President of the United States  Donald Trump, going so far as to  hurl the most bitter curse in the Arabic language at the POTUS:  “May your house be destroyed.” This imprecation does not merely relate to someone’s present home, but to all the members of his family being thrown into the street to lead lives of destitution, humiliation and shame. Only someone familiar with Middle Eastern culture understands the real significance of this curse.

Palestinian Leader Abbas is Furious – Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas convened the PLO to go on a wild rant about how US President Donald Trump is helping Israel “steal” Jerusalem from its “rightful” Muslim owners. In between taking jabs at Trump, Abbas reiterated his position that the Jews have no historical connection to Jerusalem or the land in general.

Defense minister: Abbas ‘lost his senses,’ gave up on peace – Avigdor Liberman says PA choosing confrontation with Israel and the US; education minister Bennett says fiery speech marks end of Abbas era

Bitter Abbas to Trump: We reject your peace ‘deal of the century’ – “We told Trump we will not accept his project, the ‘deal of the century,’ which has become the ‘slap of the century,’” said Abbas, expressing Palestinian anger over the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. “But we will slap back.”

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against Yehovah and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.” Psalm 2:1-3

Pray for rain and for the peace of Jerusalem.

Vote for Us, We Killed More Israelis

10 08 2016

abbasHamas? No. Hezbollah? No again. ISIS? Not even close. This campaign slogan comes from our friends at the Palestinian Authority. These are the same Palestinians to which Israel is expected to give half of their land. You can’t make this stuff up. The PA is in an election fight to keep their control with the rise of Hamas in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria for you Bible students).

Why Palestinians are on the verge of civil war

The two-state solution, a long-held US-backed plan for a rosy Mideast future, is threatened by Mr. Yesterday — someone hopelessly clinging to the past.

That Mr. Yesterday isn’t Donald Trump, whose aides deleted the words “two-state solution” from the Republican platform. And it isn’t Hillary Clinton, whose would-be veep, Tim Kaine, last year boycotted the Israeli prime minister’s speech to Congress. Hillary and Kaine cherish the two-state solution dearly.

It isn’t Bernie Sanders, whose supporters hoisted a Palestinian flag on the convention floor Monday in lieu of Old Glory. Or Rep. Hank Johnson, (D-Ga.), who this week called Israeli settlers “termites.”

Nor is it the usual suspect, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu.

Nah. Mr. Yesterday, the man who dreads two states more than anyone in America, Europe or Israel, is none other than the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.

Wait, there’s more! A post appearing on the official Facebook page of Abbas’ Fatah faction listed its most cherished achievements, chief among them its claim to have killed 11,000 Israelis. — In other words, it would appear that the number of Israelis a group has killed is directly tied to its ability to win Palestinian elections. And Israel is supposed to make peace with these people. Israel Today

Congressman: Jewish Settlers Are Like Termites Rep. Hank Johnson (D., Ga.) launched into a tirade against Israel and its policies toward the Palestinians, comparing Jewish people who live in disputed territories to “termites” that destroy homes.

I am not making this up. There are very dangerous anti-Israel people out there who believe Israel should be destroyed. Remember the importance of the 83rd Psalm.

Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: Psalm 83:1-5

Notice that the enemies are against God Himself. They only attack His chosen nation because they can’t reach up to Heaven and attack Yehovah God. Do not be mis-lead, don’t buy the propaganda. Listen to the Holy Spirit of truth and the revelation of Scripture.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

There are two sides of the coin in Israel. One side is Yes! Israel’s restoration continues by the Hand of God, as seen in Netanyahu’s report of the past year. The No! side of the coin is Palestinian President Abbas’ recent meeting with President Obama.

The YES! Factor: Last Tuesday marked the end of the first year of the formation of Israel’s 33rd Knesset Government. “Today, we are marking exactly one year since the government was formed,” remarked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. “We have built up Israel’s security in the face of regional turmoil, and the Israeli economy has continued to grow more than the economies of the world which are still dealing with an economic crisis.”

Speaking about the security situation in Israel’s south, which was peppered by over 100 rockets from terrorists in Gaza last week, Netanyahu noted that in 2013, “in the wake of Operation Pillar of Defense, quiet – of a kind unknown in a decade – has prevailed” in the south.

Netanyahu added “there will be no trickle of rockets. My policy is clear: Any firing of rockets will be met with an immediate and sharp response.”

Among the achievements highlighted in the video is the investment of 12.8 billion shekels ($3.7 billion) in national transportation infrastructures, the sealing of Israel’s Sinai border to totally block illegal infiltration, a 3.3% GDP growth which ranks among the highest in the world, and one of the lowest unemployment rates in the world at 6.2%.

Indeed, a recent comprehensive research study measuring various factors ranked Israel the tenth most powerful nation in the world.

Silicon Valley and Silicon Wadi: Two weeks ago, Netanyahu signed a cooperation agreement with the state of California. At the signing he called for a direct airline route connecting San Francisco and Tel Aviv to link “silicon valley and silicon wadi (valley),” which he praised as “the most powerful hubs of innovation on the planet.” Arutz Sheva

The NO! NO! NO! Factor: In the meantime, PA President Abbas met with President Obama and flatly stated three absolutes.

TV report: Abbas said ‘no’ to Obama on 3 core peace issues: Rejecting Kerry framework, Palestinian leader reportedly told US president he won’t recognize ‘Jewish Israel,’ abandon ‘right of return,’ or commit to ‘end of conflict’.

On his trip to Washington this week, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas rejected US Secretary of State John Kerry’s framework document for continued peace talks with Israel, and issued “three no’s” on core issues, leaving the negotiations heading for an explosive collapse, an Israeli TV report said Friday.

Specifically, the report said, Abbas rejected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s demand that he recognize Israel as a Jewish state. He also refused to abandon the Palestinian demand for a “right of return” for millions of Palestinians and their descendants — a demand that, if implemented, would drastically alter Israel’s demographic balance and which no conceivable Israeli government would accept. And finally, he refused to commit to an “end of conflict,” under which a peace deal would represent the termination of any further Palestinian demands of Israel.

Since Abbas rejected the Kerry framework for extending the talks, the TV report said, the negotiations were now heading for an “explosion.” Arutz Sheva

March 25 Update: New Anti-Semitism Tailored for Evangelicals

The Final Factor: Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let Yehovah be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:27
