This is not Fake News. The modern-day Sanhedrin in Israel is minting a collectible coin with 9.5 grams of silver as a means of raising funds for the rebuilding of the Temple. Cyrus, the ancient ruler of Persia will be pictured along with President Trump. The inscription will honor both, and also Lord Balfour of England. The reverse side will picture the Temple.
These three men were chosen, to honor their declarations from their respective countries in support of Israel. Cyrus proclaimed and supported the return of the Babylonian exiles to rebuild Jerusalem. Balfour wrote the historic declaration from the British Empire in 1917 supporting a homeland for the Jews.
President Trump is honored for his historic declaration that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel and that the U.S. will move our embassy from Tel Aviv to the capital.
All three men were non-Jews who were used by God to further His plan of restoration of Israel as the fulfillment of His faithful covenant to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Events in Israel are happening so rapidly that one can hardly keep up. We must continue to stand watch as intercessors standing in the gap for Yehovah’s purpose in Israel and the whole earth. The blessing on those who stand with Israel has been proven over many empires and leaders for thousand of years.
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, Yehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth Yehovah God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May Yehovah his God be with him, and let him go up! 2 Chronicles 36:22
Evidence of the Maccabees for Hanukkah
16 12 2022These coins are 2,200 years old, from the time of the Jewish revolt against the Greeks. (link to 2min. video) The coins were discovered in a desert cave near the Dead Sea. The Greek King Antiochos IV Epiphanes (known as “the Wicked”) ruled the Seleucid Empire at that time. Epiphanes means: “God manifest”, which tells us he was worshipped as a god. No wonder the Jewish Maccabees would not submit to him. He had already defiled the Jewish Temple and would have destroyed it. When he was defeated in the revolt of the Jews, the Temple was saved. My wife, Doreen, wrote a children’s book explaining How Hanukkah Saved Christmas. The Messiah was prophesied to enter the Temple. If the Greeks had destroyed it, the prophecy could not have been fulfilled.
Archaeologists Find Silver Coins in Judean Desert; Evidence from Maccabean Revolt Era Coincides with Hanukkah Celebration – The Jewish Maccabean revolt against the Greek Seleucid Kingdom more than two thousand years ago is one of the most stirring events in Jewish history. The revolt and the miracle of the provision of oil in the Temple led to the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, which is the festival celebrating the uprising against the Greek Seleucid kings and the restoration of the Jewish Temple. Last May, archaeologists discovered a wooden box containing 15 silver coins dating back 2,200 years to the time of the Hellenistic ruler Antiochus IV, who desecrated the Temple and persecuted the Jews.
The blasphemy of the Greek King, claiming to be a god, was a typical copycat example of Satan co-opting Yehovah’s plan for Jesus, who really was God in human form. The incarnation of Jesus was the real fulfillment of the prophecy of Immanuel, God with us! Isaiah saw it and Matthew reported it.
Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas, overlapping this year. Hanukkah starts at sundown Sunday.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.
