Queen of BDS

18 02 2019

LOL: Palestinian ‘Queen of BDS’ Has a ‘Made in Israel’ Website – The Israel Advocacy Movement has uncovered a juicy and hilarious bit of information that once again exposes both the foolishness and failure of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

Rashida Tlaib was among a handful of radical Democratic candidates to suddenly find herself in the spotlight after winning a seat in the US House of Representatives. Tlaib is most known not for what she plans to do for her constituents in Michigan, but rather for her overtly hostile positions vis-a-vis Israel.

You see, Tlaib is an America of “Palestinian” Arab descent, and she absolutely hates the Jewish state. She’s on record as saying the US should cut military aid to Israel. She’s also a big supporter of BDS, a campaign that tries, wildly unsuccessfully, to economically choke Israel out of existence.

So, we couldn’t help but burst into laughter after finding out that Tlaib’s campaign website was built on the Wix platform! As many people will know, Wix is not only one of the Internet’s top platforms for ready-made websites, it’s also one of Israel’s most successful Internet start-ups, headquartered in Tel Aviv.

No doubt Tlaib will immediately move her website to a different platform provider after realizing her grave mistake. But, until then, enjoy a little humor in your day, courtesy of Israel’s most venomous of detractors. Israel Today (If you have not yet subscribed to this delightful Israeli magazine , check it out. It is a trusted source of Messianic news from Israel.)

All the days of the afflicted are evil,
But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast. Proverbs 15:15

Thought you might appreciate a laugh break, with all the serious world news grabbing the headlines. Enjoy!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Too Heavenly Minded?

13 02 2019

He is so heavenly minded, he is no earthly good. Have you every come across that sentiment? Many Christians today get so caught up in their own goals that they lose sight of eternal reality. The bigger problem is this: He is so earthly minded, he is no Heavenly good.

Which is it? Maybe I am more sensitive because of advancing age, but this life goes by amazingly fast.

For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he passes like a shadow? Who can tell a man what will happen after him under the sun? Ecclesiastes 6:12

The fact is that unless we are Heavenly minded, we can do little earthly good. Should we retire to our cave and drop out? Of course not. On the contrary, I find myself speaking into this world more emphatically in my later years. Having “been around the mountain a few times,” as the saying goes. So my perspective is quite different from millenials. I am not better than them, just better off. Having the advantage of the wisdom of age, we learn to trust the truth of God’s words. We could save the young ones a lot of pain if only we could teach the young ones the shortcut:

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Jesus in John 10:27

C. S. Lewis made a profound comment on the subject:

If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next. The apostles themselves, who set on foot the conversion of the Roman Empire, the great men who built up the Middle Ages, the English Evangelicals who abolished the Slave Trade, all left their mark on Earth, precisely because their minds were occupied with Heaven. It is since because Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this. Prophecy News Watch

So, here are a couple pieces of advice to American Christians.

If you are in a church that embraces lesbian bishops, immoral priests, anti-Semitism, replacement theology, abortion and other obvious Biblical transgressions, you should leave that group and find some fellow believers.
If you are in a political party that likewise embraces those same things, it is time to leave.

How tragic that some cannot see the clear differences that have emerged in recent years. It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. Don’t kid yourself. Take a stand. If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. Believe the Bible, look to Heaven for the return of the Messiah. Be prepared for eternity by living eternal values now.

Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Matthew 24:42-44 ESV

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Pope Kisses Grand Imam of Islam

9 02 2019

Pope Kissing Grand Imam of Sunni Islam

Yes. He. Did. This is the Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Universtiy. He is considered to be the most important imam in Sunni Islam. He has stated multiple times that Muslims who convert to Christianity should be killed.

The leading voice for over a billion Muslims states that apostasy is a crime punishable by death and that human rights and sexual liberty are diseases. Link: Grand Imam on YouTube 4 min. 13 secs.

Pope Francis Tells Islamic Imam Who Wants to Kill Christian Converts, “You’re my brother…” – El-Tayeb affirmed on his television show during the 2016 Ramadan celebration, “Contemporary apostasy presents itself in the guise of crimes, assaults, and grand treason, so we deal with it now as a crime that must be opposed and punished…. Those learned in Islam [al-fuqaha] and the imams of the four schools of jurisprudence consider apostasy a crime and agree that the apostate must either renounce his apostasy or else be killed.“ (Video link above)

The Pope kissed a notorious Islamist anti-Semite – Francis kissed an anti-Semite and an Islamist of the worst kind. “The solution to Israeli terror lies in the proliferation of suicide attacks that spread terror into the hearts of Allah’s enemies”, said Ahmed al Tayyeb during the Second Intifada. It goes without saying that “the Palestinians have the right to blow up everything they want” (women, children, bars, buses, as long as the victims are Jewish Zionists).

Pope Francis, Leading Imam Sign Covenant Pushing Us Toward One-World Religion –There is a lot of language about peace in this document, but it goes way beyond just advocating for peace. Over and over again, the word “God” is used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity. On top of that, the document also boldly declares that “the diversity of religions” that we see in the world was “willed by God”:

“The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, … Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected,” (document)

My book, Simple Islam says plainly that the god of Islam is not a father and that he has no son, therefore it is a different god from the Bible. (see Proverbs 30:4)

Even more stark are the direct words of Jesus Himself:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;” John 14:6-7

The one-world religion is destined to clash head-on with Biblical believers. Where do you stand? There is no middle ground. Don’t be deceived. Love the truth.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and thank Yehovah God for the rain and snow that is finally ending the six-year drought!

Israel to the Moon!

4 02 2019

Yes, really. Israel is sending a lunar lander to the moon and blast-off is this month. It will take two or three months before the landing. Israel will be the fourth nation to the moon after the US, Russia, and China. But the big news, is that it’s a private company, not the Israeli government doing it.

SPACE IL – FIRST ISRAELI SPACECRAFT ON THE MOON SpaceIL’s spacecraft will launch as a secondary payload on a SPACEX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida and land on the Moon about two months later.

First Private Lunar Spacecraft Shoots for the Moon – The moon’s next visitor is different. SpaceIL’s Beresheet — Hebrew for “In the Beginning” — will become the first privately funded mission to launch from Earth and land on the moon, and the first spacecraft to propel itself over the lunar surface after landing by “hopping” on its rocket engine to a second landing spot.

Please click on the above links to enjoy more details. This is just another example of Yehovah God’s favor on Israel. I think it’s great that the name of the lander is: Beresheet — Hebrew for “In the Beginning” Notice the bold parts of this quote from Genesis.

”I will make you a great nation;I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3

Pray for the success of this mission and for rain in Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem!

United Anti-Semites

1 02 2019

Have you noticed the common denominator with dictators, terrorists and all who hate freedom? They all hate Israel and the Jews. We have discussed the great division of “sheep and goat” nations, and it always comes down to their stance regarding Israel.

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’: Matthew 25:32

Don’t you think it is strange that Muslims who hate democracy and freedom seem to be allied with the radical left-wing Marxists and anarchists like Antifa? The “resistance” mantra of the new left in the Democrat Party (see Women’s March) is laced with anti-Semitism.

It would appear that we have reached that point in prophetic history where demons of hell are released on the earth.

And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. Revelation 9:2-3

When Yehovah God first spoke His promise to Abram, it was regarding the one nation of Israel that would, in turn, bless all the families of the earth. “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” Genesis 12:3 Think of it in a more practical way. If you need finances, pray for Israel’s finances. If you need healing, pray for Israel’s healing. If you need protection, pray for Israel’s protection. If you need peace, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Do you see my point?

Israel is the crucial battlefield for capitalism and freedom in our time. George Gilder’s global best-seller: Wealth and Poverty made the moral case for capitalism. Now Gilder makes the case for Israel, portraying a conflict of barbarism and envy against civilization and creativity. Gilder reveals Israel as a leader of human civilization, technological progress, and scientific advance. Tiny Israel stands behind only the United States in its contributions to the hi-tech economy. Israel has become the world’s paramount example of the blessings of freedom. Hatred of Israel, like anti-Semitism through history, arises from resentment of Jewish success. Rooted in a Marxist zero-sum-game theory of economics, this vision has fueled the anti-Semitic ranting of Hitler, Arafat, bin Laden and history’s other notorious haters. Faced with a contest between murderous regimes sustained by envy and Nazi ideology, and a free, prosperous, and capitalist, Israel, whose side are you on? George Gilder: The Israel Test

BLESSED – More Than We Deserve

29 01 2019

Dave Ramsey was the first one I heard use the phrase in the title of this blog. I have since used it many times to express my own belief. We are all truly blessed more than we deserve. This is based on the Biblical truth called “original sin.” It simply means that we are born with selfishness, rebellion, and the tendency to sin. We don’t deserve God’s grace, it is a free gift. We are only able to overcome our natural desires through being “born again” to a new life in the Savior, Jesus the Messiah.

Jesus defeated Satan’s poison pill of self-will in the Garden of Gethsemane, when He declared three times: “Not my will by Your will be done!” This was explained in more detail in my December 17 video from when I spoke in Kenya.

When we follow the Messiah’s example of surrendering our will to our Heavenly Father, we too will find victory and blessing. The point is this. Because of our sinful self-will, we do not deserve blessing. But, due to the price paid by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and the cross, we are free. We are free to receive the blessings of Yehovah God and walk in the footsteps of Yeshua.

Everything I have said is very personal, but it also applies nationally. America does not deserve the grace of God either. We only enjoy His blessings as we serve Him. Much of the tribulation of this generation is the result of turning away from God.

The same applies to Israel and the Jewish people. They, too, are undeserving. Yet, Yehovah has chosen to bless them in our day because of the unfailing promises He gave to their forefathers. After nineteen hundred years of judgement, He has turned the page (since the Holocaust) to favor, restoration, and blessing. Again, this applies to individuals as they recognize the Messiah, and to the nation as it lines up with the prophesied purpose of God.

Therefore we must all humble ourselves before Him, repent of our self-will, and receive the provision delivered to us by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. There is no other way.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. 1 Peter 5:6

If you want to understand God, you must learn to “stand under” Him.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Miracle in Your Mouth

25 01 2019

20181205_161728 (2)

“There’s a miracle in your mouth! Words are seeds. You are planting seeds when you speak. Don’t say something about the mountain, say something to the mountain!”

Our recent ministry in Kenya blessed Doreen and I in many ways. One of the best was the brief visit of Bishop Peter Susa, a genuine Kenyan father in the faith. He was an elderly man of God who has been preaching faith all of his life. The quote above was from his declaration. It was an honor to sit under his teaching. Here is just a short summary outline of his message.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

You must hear the word of God.
You must believe the word, not traditions.
You must say what you believe. Speak the word. Words are seeds.
You must receive. There’s a miracle in your mouth!

Heavenly Father, help us to walk in this revelation every moment of our lives. I pray blessing on Bishop Peter Susa and all of Kenya. Thank you Lord Yehovah and Yeshua your Son.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Annihilation/Elimination of Israel

21 01 2019

‘We are prepared to eliminate Israel’ – Iranian air force chief says Tehran regime prepared for ‘decisive battle’ with Jewish state which will lead to its destruction.

Iran’s Khamenei: No Cure for Barbaric Israel but Annihilation

Last week I wrote about an anti-Semitic flyer that was distributed in Newton, Mass. Please do not be naive or ignorant regarding this matter. This is happening around the world, fueled by the direct hatred of Israel, especially from Islam. It is seen in this one of many examples from Islamic literature:

The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Hadith and SahihMuslim#6985

Although there are multiple interpretations of this verse, it is repeated often by radical Islamic leaders as justification for killing Jews. It is even part of the Hamas Covenant, a designated terror group, at the end of Chapter One Article Seven. It is followed by Article Eight:

“Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model to be followed, the Koran its constitution, Jihad its way, and death for the sake of Allah its loftiest desire.” Hamas Covenant

Islam’s Jew-Hating Hadith in Context – The infamous hadith about the Jew hiding behind a tree is not some apocryphal canon held in esteem by an unimportant few, but runs parallel to anti-Jewish motifs throughout the Koran.

In addition to the words used in the title, annihilate and eliminate, we can add genocide, eradicated and “total extinction”. Here is a list of statements made about Israel using these words. Just read through a few of the threats and you will clearly see spirit of death that emanates from such hatred.

Yet still, remember that Jesus died for the whole world. All who come to Him as Messiah and Son of God will find life. Many are turning to the living God Yehovah, the Life-Giver; and they are finding deliverance from the death cult of unbelief. Pray that all who love the truth will find it in Yeshua, who Himself is the truth.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

Pray for Muslims and all who hate Israel. Pray for wisdom in Congress as they confront the lying spirit. Pray for rain and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

2019 – Nazi-style Anti-Semitic Flyer

16 01 2019

You glance at this flyer and assume it is from the 1930’s, but it was distributed in Newton, Massachusetts on Sunday January 13, 2019. Last year saw a rise in anti-Semitic hate in the U.S. and around the world. Please don’t be ignorant of this alarming trend. Pray for the Jewish people, and pray for Israel. The root of this hate is from the Evil One.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

This is not fake news, but is fully reported from credible sources. It really is happening, in the context of rising socialism, Marxism, and Islamic jihadism. Here is the documentation.

Massachusetts fliers accuse Jews of spreading ‘degeneracy’ – Anti-Semitic fliers in Newton, Massachusetts show devil-horned Jewish caricature, accuses Jews of pushing ‘pornography and degeneracy’.

Antisemitic flyers in Newton – Police in Newton are investigating after messages of hate were found across the city.

Antisemitic incidents in US soar – 2-27-18 Antisemitic incidents in the US surged 57% in 2017, the Anti-Defamation League said on Tuesday, the largest year-on-year increase since the Jewish civil rights group began collecting data in 1979.

Rising antisemitism worldwide boils over at Pittsburgh synagogue – 10-28-18 Deadliest assault on Jews in US history follows 57% increase in antisemitic incidents in 2017.

The Synagogue Killings Mark a Surge of Anti-Semitism – In 2016, more than half of religious hate crimes in America targeted Jews, and in 2017, authorities have reported a surge of anti-Semitic incidents.

Europe’s rising anti-Semitism demands a new social contract – “The Jews,” as in “All Jews must die” — the phrase that the far right Pittsburgh shooting suspect Robert Bowers allegedly shouted as he shot at the worshippers in the Tree of Life Synagogue — disregards the diversity of the Jewish people. Whether religious, cultural or political, the only thing that mattered was that they belonged to the Jewish people. … In recent years, we have seen that this effortlessly shifts into ancient anti-Semitic motifs, especially in Europe, and singles out Jewish collectivity from all peoples on earth.

Again it must be clear that this is beyond political or racist hatred. It is against Yehovah God Himself and His purpose for this earth and His creation. This is directly stated in Psalm 83. Notice the underlined pronouns speaking directly to God.

Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies? Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up? They devise crafty schemes against your people; they conspire against your precious ones. “Come,” they say, “let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence.” Yes, this was their unanimous decision. They signed a treaty as allies against you. Psalm 83:2-5

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and thank Yehovah for the rain and snow now falling.

Locust Plague in Mecca

11 01 2019

The unprecedented event this week in Mecca amazingly corresponds to this week’s Torah reading in Jewish synagogues. They read from Exodus 10:1 – 13:16 about the locust plague in Egypt.

Is it simply irony that in the weekly Torah portion Jews read about the final five plagues – boils, fiery hail, locusts, darkness and death of first-born males – that God sent to afflict Pharaoh and the Egyptians, a swarm of locusts attacks Islam’s holiest mosque? Prophecy in the news

Watch: Locust Swarm Descends on Mecca’s Grand Mosque – Breitbart

MECCA’S GRAND MOSQUE, THE WORLD’S HOLIEST MUSLIM SITE, IS UNDER ATTACK BY LOCUSTS – Newsweek

SWARM & BUZZY – The Sun

This is under the category of things that make you go: Hmmm! Just last week we referenced Matthew 24:7 about the signs of Messiah Yeshua’s coming regarding earthquakes. Now in that very same verse we find the sign of pestilences.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7

Do you think God may be getting our attention?

4,000 Terrorists

9 01 2019

Controversy broke out when White House press secretary Sarah Sanders stated the “4,000 terrorists” number on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. But the real truth goes way beyond the media twisting of the narrative. They think they have a big story because most were apprehended at airports. But here is my question: If “roughly 10 a day” are blocked by our excellent security at airports, how many are missed at the border where they avoid checkpoints entirely? The media gleefully trumpeted that even Chris Wallace exposed the “lie.” However, it turns out that it is a legitimate reference to a stat from the Department of Homeland Security:

The United States has also put in place measures to dramatically improve screening and vetting of individuals traveling to our shores. We have made applications more rigorous…intensified background checks…put in place new information sharing requirements…launched a new National Vetting Center to better leverage intelligence…and more.

The result is that we are identifying and stopping terror suspects who would otherwise have gone undetected. In fact, on average, my Department now blocks 10 known or suspected terrorists a day from traveling to or attempting to enter the United States. Official website of the Department of Homeland Security

Blocking 4,000 terrorist where we make them pass through high security (facial recognition, hi-tech x-rays, watch lists, etc.) is an unbelievably high number. They know they will be screened and yet they try. Please just think about it. Why wouldn’t they eventually figure out it would be much easier to slip into our country in places with absolutely NO checkpoint or security of any kind?

The “4,000” stat actually confirms the danger of the open border. How many terrorists a day would we catch if every single person had to go through a security screening at the border just like airports? The border should be closed except for secure crossing points.

Would you leave all your doors and windows open to your own home, and allow anyone enter anytime without your knowledge? Do rich people build walls around their property? Do bears live in the woods? Ridiculous questions!

And Oh, by-the-way, God is a nationalist, not a globalist. Nations were His idea.

He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat. Psalm 147:14

You have set all the borders of the earth; Psalm 74:17a

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. Acts17:26 NIV

Rise in High Intensity Earthquakes

5 01 2019

Magnitude 6.9: Oakland, CA on Oct. 19, 1989. The freeway collapsed (Paul Sakuma / Associated Press)

Major earthquakes have gone from one per decade to one per year!

Jesus said several signs will increase like birth pains before He returns (Matthew 24:8). This means those signs will increase in frequency and intensity before the Second Coming. One of the signs Jesus cited is earthquakes (Matthew 24:7). We’ve seen a marked increase in the frequency of high intensity earthquakes over the past two decades.

From 1900 to 1950, the world only registered six 8.0 magnitude earthquakes. Since 2010, we’ve had ten. Earlier this year, more than 70 earthquakes hit the Pacific Ring of Fire in a 48-hour period. The earth is preparing for the King’s return! Prophecy New Watch

It is true that we have always had earthquakes, but the intensity rise indicates we are nearing the end of history as we know it. The birth pains Jesus spoke about are now happening. He was answering the question: “What will be the sign of your return?” His answer is called the “Olivet Discourse” because he was speaking on the Mount of Olives, the exact location of His Second Coming. This conversation is recorded in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13.

Here is an amazing observation. All of the signs He mentions are true in every generation to some degree, except one. Only one sign has an absolute time stamp. It is the sign of Jerusalem!

“And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24

This time-specific reference has an exact historical fulfillment of June 1967. Jerusalem was trampled down by the Gentile nations from 70 AD to 1967. This was not even fulfilled when Israel became a nation in 1948. Jerusalem was still held by Jordan until 1967. The restoration of Jerusalem was not only a fulfillment of the overall restoration of Israel, it confirms that we are in the generation that will welcome the Messiah. Hallelujah!

Yehovah God, the Father, turned the page of history in 1948. For nearly 2,000 years the Jews never won a war. But since 1948, they have never lost a war. What changed? It is the time of God’s restoration and favor of Israel. It is in this very season that the great sign of the Second Coming was given to erase all doubt. Jerusalem is restored to Israel! Fasten your seatbelt, the Messiah is at the door.

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21

Netanyahu Postage Stamp for Brazil

2 01 2019

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the swearing-in of Brazil’s new President on January 1. While there he was honored with a postage stamp. Most of the Israeli news coverage claims it calls Netanyahu “savior,” but I disagree. His picture and name are on the left, but the right side of the stamp is all about commemorating Israel’s 70th Year celebration. The word on the star of David is “Messiah.” My guess is that the Israeli media would rather interpret it as applying to the PM rather than recognize it was a statement about the soon-coming Messiah. Here is a close-up of lower right corner of the stamp. Below the “70” is the Hebrew for Mazel Tov!, which means: “Good fortune!”

It is the Brazilian evangelical/Pentecostal community that is behind the stamp, and that brought President Bolsonaro to power. Whatever the intent, I rejoice in the new healthy relationship between Israel and Brazil, South America’s largest country. The new President is going to move their Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“Mr Bolsonaro also said this: I will move the embassy to Jerusalem. It’s not a question of if, just a question of when,” Netanyahu said. (Times of Israel)

Pray for a wonderful move of God in Brazil. Hallelujah! And also pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

New Israel Elections

29 12 2018

Prophesy To The Land! 6 jpg While most of us have been unplugged for the holidays, big news is breaking in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu has called early elections for April 9. The scheduled time was November 2019 so it is only six months early, but is shaking up Israeli politics. The good news is that the Prime Minister has a big lead in early polls.

Political attacks on the conservative Likud government headed by Netanyahu are strikingly similar to those against President Trump. I have the same answer for both men. They are in place to do the will of Yehovah God regarding His restoration and favor of Israel. If either leader veers away from enacting God’s plan for the Land of Israel, he will surely fall.

The Land, The Land, The Land! It is always about the Land of Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump have been raised up by God to protect the Land of Israel. Ezekiel 22 is about the severe judgment against Israel for defiling the Land. It led to the scattering to all the nations because Yehovah could find no leader to stand up for the Land.

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30

The judgment certainly was severe (see Romans 11:22). But the story does not end there. God promised the restoration of Israel and the Land, in the end times. We now see that He turned the page after the Holocaust (described in Psalm 102), and pronounced the set time to favor Zion had come!

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

From 70 A.D. to 1948 the Jews never won a war. From 1948 to now, they never lost a war. What changed? God turned the page from judgment to favor and restoration. Hallelujah! So, now He is using two leaders to stand in the gap for the Land of Israel. This is so much bigger than politics. Pray for President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Pray for rain and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Simeon the Prophet

21 12 2018

One of the best parts of Messiah’s birth story is often overlooked. The story of Simeon holds EIGHT amazing prophesies about the purpose of Jesus, in just one short passage in the Gospel of Luke.

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:25-35

Holy Spirit was on Simeon, leading him to the Temple at the precise moment.
Holy Spirit revealed that he would live to see the Messiah.
Simeon held baby Jesus and saw salvation (Hebrew “yeshua”). There would be a dozen or so babies at any given time. And, no; baby Jesus did not have a halo. Simeon recognized Him by the supernatural revelation of the Holy Spirit.
He amazingly prophesied that Jesus would bring His light to the Gentiles!
His salvation would also be the glory of Israel.
Jesus was destined to preside or the fall and then the rise of Israel. Nations normally rise and fall, but Israel was about to fall (rejecting the Messiah) and then rise in the last days. We see this now in our generation.
The sign (of Jesus’ death) would be spoken against (even piercing Mary’s soul).
The very method of His death would expose the hearts of every person.

As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,
And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 9:33

The baby in Simeon’s arms was indeed the SALVATION of all who believe on Him.

Yeshua ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah. Yeshua ben Yehovah, Jesus Son of Yehovah! Remember the reason for the season and have a blessed Christmas honoring Him.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for continuing rain in Israel all winter.

Most Important Prayer Meeting in the History of the World

17 12 2018

Four people attended this prayer meeting, and three fell asleep. Yet, history was made in the outcome! Eight words were spoken that changed the course of humanity. The curse of Satan was reversed by these eight words: “Not MY will, but THY will be done!”

My devotional of Thursday morning last week in Kenya, to 2,600 young people and pastors, was a challenge to join with Jesus in making the same declaration in our own lives. Satan had set the tone in his rebellion in Heaven by insisting on his own will over Yehovah’s will five times, as revealed in Isaiah’s prophecy:

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart:

‘I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.’

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. Isaiah 14:12-15

Three times Jesus asked the Father for another way, but each time concluded with His passionate confession in eight words that reversed history: “Not MY will, but THY will be done!”

Jesus was tempted to not go through with the Plan, but did not yield to that temptation, even resisting the temptation to the point of blood. The stress resulted in the bursting of capillaries in His skin releasing blood through His sweat glands.

As we remember the birth of Jesus this year, take note that God became flesh and dwelt among us. He was clothed with our human flesh and weakness, but overcame it!

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

Kenya Final Update

14 12 2018

20181203_083855

It is great to be home again after wonderful ministry in Kenya to 2,600 young people at the 18th annual PDA Conference in Kimilili, Kenya near the Uganda border in western Kenya. PDA stand for Purpose-Destiny-Achievement. (Click here for videos.)

I spoke ten times, six at the conference and four in local churches. Future leaders of Kenya and missionaries to the nations were called from the youth there from high school, college and young professional. Many pastors also attended. Although most were committed believers, there were over 100 born again and filled with the Holy Spirit.

My goal of providing seed for the sowers, regarding God’s restoration of Israel and our call to stand with Israel as a blessing to the nations, was exceeded. Doreen and I were particularly blessed to connect and impart our Israel vision to three specific leaders from Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Uganda, who vowed to take the Israel “seed” to their respective nations. Several Kenyan pastors were inspired to visit Israel as soon as possible.

Psalm 102 (which I call the “Holocaust Psalm”), was the core of much of my teaching. Verse 13 was key as the point Yehovah turned the page for Israel from judgement to favor after 1,878 years from 70 AD to 1948. I pointed out that Israel never won a war during that severe period of judgement and scattering among the nations. But since 1948 they have not lost a war because God turned the page to restoration, blessing, regathering, rebuilding, and favor.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
For the time to favor her,
Yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:19-21

Thank you for all who prayed for us and supported us for this amazing two weeks in Africa. May Yehovah God’s plan and purpose be fulfilled for each one of the blessed participants. Special thanks and honor to our host, Pastor Michael Masambu.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Les & Doreen in Kenya

28 11 2018

We leave tomorrow, Nov 29 for two weeks ministering in Kenya. You may be able to make out our picture on the left side of the above banner. Pastor Michael Masambu specifically requested that I speak in seven sessions on the covenant with Israel for all believers. There are expected to be 2,000 young future leaders of Africa at this conference. The ages include high school, college and young professionals from Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.

We covet your prayerful intercession as we speak the heart of God for His beloved Israel. I will also be speaking in churches in Nairobi and elsewhere. If you are on Facebook, I hope to post updates on our Elisha Vision page. When you visit, please like the page. Thank you.

“This is what Yehovah says: You have said, ‘This is a desolate land where people and animals have all disappeared.’ Yet in the empty streets of Jerusalem and Judah’s other towns, there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to Yehovah. They will sing, ‘Give thanks to Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies, for Yehovah is good. His faithful love endures forever!’ For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says Yehovah. Jeremiah 33:10-11 NLT

Will Israel Reoccupy Gaza?

24 11 2018

Gaza pic 2018

Israel Ready to Reoccupy Gaza, Warns Minister The latest round of fighting in Gaza might be over, for now, but Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan warned that Israel is prepared to recapture and reoccupy the coastal enclave in order to root out Hamas and its terrorist allies should the situation escalate again. Israel Today

About 15 years ago my friend, John Fisk, and I compiled a teaching about Gaza which is being fulfilled year by year since then. We saw pertinent Scripture promises that applied then, and even more so now. The fifth stage may be imminent. Here are the five stages and the text from Zephaniah that applies to the last stage when Judah returns to Gaza. It seems to be taken right out of today’s (and tomorrow’s) headlines.

The Five Stages of Gaza’s Judgment

A Wall is Built around Gaza.
Judah (Israel) withdraws.
Chaos overtakes Gaza.
Gaza is destroyed by fire.
Judah (Israel) returns to Gaza.

The seacoast shall be pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks there; in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For Yehovah their God will intervene for them, and return their captives. Zephaniah 2:6-7

The final stage of Gaza is that it belongs to Israel. Through the centuries the Philistine strongholds on the coast are conquered, with only Gaza now still in the hands of Palestinians. The Palestinians are not descended from the Philistines physically, but they have the same demonic terrorist spirit.

For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon desolate; they shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron shall be uprooted. Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Yehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; so there shall be no inhabitant.” Zephaniah 2:4-5

This verse identifies Gazans, as “Cherethites” or literally: ASSASSINS! It would seem to be a simple step to understanding this reference as an ancient way of describing the suicide/homicide bombers of today, Hamas in Gaza, Why is there anarchy under Hamas?

There will be no king or authority in Gaza! Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; and Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited. Zechariah 9:5

This has all been fulfilled including anarchy in Gaza. The only thing remaining is for Israel to return and establish order in Gaza. Stay tuned!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Breaking Israel News X2

16 11 2018

Two big stories from Israel today deserve your prayerful consideration.

Reports: Israel Slated for Early Elections as Netanyahu Coalition Breaks Up – Netanyahu had met the education minister, Naftali Bennett, who wanted the defence ministry post in the right-wing government, but the meeting ended with a decision by cabinet members to hold national polls, which were previously due in November 2019.
Trump Admin Moves Toward Recognizing Israeli Sovereignty Over Golan Heights – For the first time ever, the United States on Friday intended to vote against an annual UN resolution condemning Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights. Ever since Israel seized control of the strategic plateau on the 1967 Six Day War, the US has abstained when the resolution titled “The Occupied Syrian Golan” was brought to a vote. (Also see: In first, US votes against UN resolution condemning Israeli presence in Golan)

We rejoice that the US finally took a stand for the Golan in the UN. Pray that we will openly declare our acceptance of Israel’s 1980’s annexation of the Golan Heights. The Golan has been at peace since the 1967 Six Day War. However, every peace agreement leads to violence and war, whereas Israel’s wars end in peace. Remember this when Israel finally decides to re-enter Gaza and establish peace through Israeli control.

On the looming election in the Spring, pray that Yehovah God of Israel will strengthen Netanyahu to hear and do God’s will.

My help comes from Yehovah, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Yehovah himself watches over you! Yehovah stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121:2-5

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Miraculous Mercy in Israel

12 11 2018

Minutes after Israeli troops got off their bus, it was hit by an anti-tank missile from Gaza. It was truly the mercy of Yehovah God that only one soldier was injured. At one point, 200 missiles were fired in only two hours, more than one a minute. 60 were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense.

Rockets from Gaza pass 300 in five and-half hours The successive salvos of rockets from the Gaza Strip in five and a half hours on Monday climbed past 300 at 10 p.m. The second direct hit in Ashkelon caused extensive damage in a residential district. One person was injured. In the first, the damage to a four-story residential building was heavy, but all the residents made it to shelters in time to escape harm.

Attacks from Gaza have injured 22 Israelis today — medical officials Times of Israel

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of Yehovah

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yehovah, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow (MISSILE)that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. HIS-Story

9 11 2018

j0309700 The only accurate way to look at the history of the world, is to see it as God’s story. The written records of history from fossils to the Bible all tell one single narrative. It’s HIS-story. In fact, the best way to view the Bible, is as God’s recording of history, much of it even before it happens in our time/space continuum.

My friend, Rick Heeren, inspired me to write this blog from an important view of the Torah that we both share. The Torah (aka the Old Testament) was not cancelled when Yeshua/Jesus came as the Messiah. He was the Promised One to Abraham and all generations. His appearance brought to pass much of what was promised to the Fathers and the Prophets.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:16-18

Notice the phrase “jot or tittle.” Jesus knew exactly what he said, because He was referring literally to the tiniest letter (yod) and the tiniest marks in the writing of Hebrew letters. What an amazing confirmation by Jesus, that every word God spoke will come to pass to the most exact detail! Listen to Joshua, a forerunner of Yeshua/Jesus:

“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yehovah your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.” Joshua 23:14

Therefore know that Yehovah your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; Deuteronomy 7:9

Yet, the narrative did not end there. Even today much remains to be fulfilled, that was sworn by Yehovah God, to Abraham thousands of years ago. My favorite example is Psalm 102, which I call The Holocaust Psalm. The first eleven verses are a graphic literal description of the Holocaust. Then, verse 13 clearly states:

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

This also is readily seen in history. From 70 AD (the destruction of the 2nd Temple by the Romans) until 1948, the Jews never won a war. Since the rebirth of Israel immediately after the Holocaust, according to HIS-story, the Jews have never lost a war. Only Yehovah, the faithful God, could accomplish such a continuing miracle up to today. If one tries to predict the future, he only need consult the Bible as a continuing literal historical narrative. SELAH

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Heaven’s Election Results

6 11 2018

The returns are in. Everyone who names the name of Yehovah will be saved. Here is a bit of Bible encouragement for you on this election day.

“For the eyes of Yehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 1 Chronicles 16:9

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for Yehovah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” 1 Chronicles 28:9

But Yehovah said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For Yehovah does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yehovah looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:2

Pittsburgh Anti-Semitic Killer Treated by Jewish Staff

1 11 2018

Dr. Jeff Cohen on synagogue shooting suspect: Fox News

Dr. Jeff Cohen on synagogue shooting suspect: "The irony's of all this [is] that the first people that took care of him were all Jewish." @ShepNewsTeam https://t.co/QgZBTWsUqQ pic.twitter.com/AEvU80D8Un

— Fox News (@FoxNews) October 29, 2018

Our God is the God of mercy. How ironic that the head doctor at the hospital that cared for the anti-Semitic terrorist murderer in the synagogue is Jewish and the first three nurses and staff members healing him were also Jewish. Even in the darkest night the light will shine. One of the nurses is the daughter of a Rabbi. Praise the Lord for His love and mercy.

PITTSBURGH — Jewish doctors and nurses at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh put their personal feelings aside to help save the life of the man who allegedly claimed he wanted to “kill all the Jews” as he opened fire at a synagogue and murdered 11 worshipers.

“He was taken to my hospital and he’s shouting, ‘I want to kill all the Jews’,” Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, president of Allegheny General Hospital and a member of the Tree of Life Synagogue, told ABC. “The first three people who took care of him were Jewish.”

Another nurse, whose father is a rabbi, “came in from a mass casualty drill and took care of this gentleman.” Fox News

Yehovah God is able to make something good out of the most evil events. This was the most anti-Semitic attack in US history. According to the Jerusalem Post, anti-Semitic incidents increase by 60% in America in 2017. The 2016 breakdown of hate crimes showed that approximately 54% were anti-Jewish, 24% were anti-Islamic.

The Bible reveals evil, and clearly does not say all things are good. But it does say God can make evil things work out for His good purposes.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Pray for the families and survivors that they will find comfort in the God of Israel. Also, please continue to pray for rain in Israel and peace for Jerusalem.

European Union Kills Free Speech

29 10 2018

Free speech is not free anymore in Europe. Last week, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), ruled that a woman who spoke a historical truth about Mohammed was guilty of speech violations and must pay a fine of 480 euros plus legal fees.

A European court has ruled that saying bad things about the Muslim prophet Mohammad is verboten, and state punishment is appropriate.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled a woman convicted by an Austrian court of calling the Prophet Mohammed a paedophile did not have her freedom of speech rights infringed.

The woman, named only as Mrs. S, 47, from Vienna, was said to have held two seminars in which she discussed the marriage between the Prophet Mohammad and a six-year old girl, Aisha….Mrs S. was later convicted in February 2011 by the Vienna Regional Criminal Court for disparaging religious doctrines and ordered her to pay a fine of 480 euros plus legal fees. Prophecy News Watch

Calling Prophet Muhammad a pedophile does not fall within freedom of speech: European court The ECHR ruled against an Austrian woman who claimed calling the Prophet Muhammad a pedophile was protected by free speech. The applicant claimed she was contributing to public debate.

SHOULD IT BE ILLEGAL TO CALL MOHAMMED A PAEDOPHILE? The ECHR have decided that truth is not a justification – Should you be allowed to say that the founder of one of the world’s largest religions was a paedophile? According to the European Court of Human Rights the answer is ‘no’. In a decision issued this week the Court in Strasbourg ruled that this statement is defamatory towards the prophet of Islam, ‘goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate’ and ‘could stir up prejudice and put at risk religious peace.’

To a Muslim, this is basic Sharia Law. Obvious. Blasphemous. In some Muslim countries, it is worthy of the death penalty. We need to be aware that curtailing free speech, even bad speech that we don’t like, will ultimately lead to the loss of free speech itself. If that ever happens in the U.S., our republic will fall. I remind you of a stark warning from the Bible:

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

Death to Palestinians… (who sell land to Jews)

25 10 2018

Almost nobody knows that this is his official position. Yet, Abbas demands that seven million Palestinian “refugees” be admitted to Israel proper. Not to his new state, but to Israel!

EXCLUSIVE: PA ARRESTS PALESTINIAN-AMERICAN FOR PROPERTY SALE TO JEWS Palestinian Authority security forces have arrested a Palestinian-American citizen on suspicion of involvement in a real estate transaction with Jews in east Jerusalem, The Jerusalem Post has learned. The man’s family has notified the US State Department of his arrest.

As has been said many times, the Arabs and Muslims hate Israel, not because of land, or occupation, brutality, or injustice. They hate Israel because they hate Jews. That is why there will never be peace with Abbas, the Palestinian Authority, the PLO, or any other radical Muslim group. They hate Jews.

The only solution is the coming of the Messiah. Muslims and all others will only have peace if they accept the Jewish Messiah. Satan has opposed this from the beginning and will never relent. It is the age-old choice: life or death. Choose to follow Yehovah God of Israel and His Messiah Yeshua or choose the death cult of Islam.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 0 that you may love Yehovah your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which Yehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in His fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and what is His Son’s name,
If you know? Proverbs 30:4

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray and thank God for the rain.

High Idaho Desert

19 10 2018

John Fisk and I are in Challis, Idaho at Living Waters Ranch this weekend. My speaking session is Saturday afternoon; prayers appreciated. John and I are sharing amazing one on one time in this spectacular corner of the globe. “A brother assisted by a brother is like a lofty and fortified city.”

Christopher and Debbie James have a wonderful vision for this 2,700 acre ranch as a ministry refuge center for the West coast. Christopher also has a strong heart for Israel. I will be speaking on Ezekiel 36 which declares the end-time restoration, blessing and favor of God on Israel. This the subject of my latest book, Speak to the Dirt! (Click on sidebar picture to order it.) Right now it is available on Kindle, but will be published as a print book soon.

Here is a photo of John at the Tea Cup Cafe, which is in town, but an outreach of the Ranch.

Idaho, John in Challis

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let Yehovah be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long. Psalm 35:27-28

Israel Always World News

16 10 2018

Three news stories from other countries show once again that Israel makes news beyond its size. Israel is about one-tenth of one per cent, of the world’s population. Yet it is constantly in the news.

Australian PM mulls recognizing Jerusalem as capital, moving embassy Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison told Israel’s prime minister that he is considering following in the footsteps of the Trump administration by formally recognizing Jerusalem as the country’s capital Monday. The potentially major shift in Australia’s foreign policy would align Morrison’s conservative government closer to the US and Israel, but likely draw widespread condemnation from the Arab Muslim world.
Brazil’s Jews Move to Israel Amid Political Chaos Approximately 120,000 Jews live in Brazil and the country is witnessing an exodus like never before.
Exodus: British (& Russian) Jews Join Global Flight and Leave for Israel The number of British Jews leaving the UK and seeking a new life in Israel has risen seven percent on last year’s figures, mirroring a sharp increase in Russian Jews also fleeing Europe. Overall, Israel saw the arrival of 18,965 immigrants under its Law of Return for Jews and their relatives, or olim, in the first eight months of 2018 compared to 19,067 in the same period last year, the Jerusalem Post reports.

He will raise a flag among the nations
and assemble the exiles of Israel.
He will gather the scattered people of Judah
from the ends of the earth. Isaiah 11:12 NLT

“For I will gather you up from all the nations and bring you home again to your land.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. And you will live in Israel, the land I gave your ancestors long ago. You will be my people, and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36:24-28 NLT

Pray Supernatural Wisdom for Pres. Trump

13 10 2018

Pastor Brunson, just freed from captivity in Turkey, prays for President Trump. He asks for supernatural wisdom. His wife also prays, for the Holy Spirit to be on our President. I think we should all take up this prayer for our President.

This second video is the entire Oval Office gathering. Watch especially at the very end from 18:30 to the 21:00 minute mark. Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina boldly proclaims Jesus and the Gospel, followed by Senator Tillis and Rep. Meadows. Well worth the time to watch. Praise Yehovah, the Lord God of Israel, and Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel. Hallelujah!

Thank God for the release of Pastor Brunson. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for rain, and Pray for President Trump.

Nikki Haley – “We’ll be taking names”

10 10 2018

Here are excerpts from a great article by Jack Engelhard, writing for Israel National News.

He quite clearly expresses the strength of Nikki Haley as US Ambassador to the UN. Her unapologetic stand for Israel was clear when the UN tried to condemn the US for moving our Embassy to Jerusalem. That is why she is my hero. In addition, she is an outspoken Christian personally and also boldly defending persecuted Christians around the world.

The best of Nikki Haley – “We’ll be taking names” Most days at the UN, she was the only man in the room. Pray that Trump will find another. Those days of bowing to the nations are over, finished, and if there was one moment that defined her entire approach to the entire world, it came at her defense of Israel.

Precisely, it came after President Trump named Jerusalem the capital of Israel, a decision that angered the nations. They were so used to having Israel their way. Israel was their sport.

So they insisted on a do-over, which meant, as we recorded it here, a General Assembly resolution to protest Trump’s declaration. That included moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, which infuriated them even further—and which triggered Nikki Haley to rise to the occasion – and did she ever!

As follows: “At the UN we’re always asked to do more and give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thursday there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The U.S. will be taking names.”

Message sent. Message delivered. Message received…

…Sure enough foreign aid was cut to nations and agencies, like UNRWA and the PA, that were either wasteful or hateful, and always ungrateful.

Now they tiptoe around her.

Depending on who replaces her, the UN will never be the same again. She will have left her mark…and a triumphant mark it is. Tough shoes to fill…

…One of a kind. Pray that there is another. INN Jack Engelhard

Yes indeed, we pray for another godly person to be our UN Ambassador.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NLT

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

LORD or YEHOVAH?

6 10 2018

YEHOVAH

One of the most profound prayers in the Bible for both Jews and Christians is the high priestly prayer, benediction, and blessing in Number 6. Today I want to share the simple but critical necessity of using God’s name in the prayer. Custom dictates using the generic LORD (in all caps), instead of His actual name, Yehovah, which is clear in the Hebrew text. But, does it matter? Yes indeed! The necessity of using His name is revealed in the last verse of Numbers 6, which is never quoted along with the prayer. Notice first, both the added intimacy and power of using the name of Yehovah. Secondly, notice the virtually unknown intent of Yehovah Himself for declaring the blessing and protection of placing His name over us.

And YEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:

“YEHOVAH bless you and keep you; YEHOVAH make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

YEHOVAH lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” ’

“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27

Don’t you think it is time to invoke His real name over His people and receive His promised blessing?

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

I Found the Right Word…

1 10 2018

I Found the Right Word… Our nation has been transfixed on the Supreme Court nomination battle and I have been trying to think of the right word to describe the proceedings. These words came to mind, but were not exactly clear: despicable, deceitful, dishonest, misleading, confusing and threatening. However, this morning I realized the correct word: abomination.

Let me be clear and perhaps surprise you. I believe her. AND. I believe him. I believe she experienced something horrific, but I believe she was mistaken about who did it. You may see it differently, this is just my opinion. But the overall spectacle in the Senate’s pitiful handling of the “inquisition” is best described as an abomination to our nation.

How many of these seven things listed in Proverbs 6 apply to the Senate hearings?

These six things Yehovah hates,

Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

A proud look,

A lying tongue,

Hands that shed innocent blood,

A heart that devises wicked plans,

Feet that are swift in running to evil,

A false witness who speaks lies,

And one who sows discord among brethren.

Proverbs 6:16-19

Only “shedding innocent blood” is missing from the Senate hearings. The other six were on display in abundance. I share this today, as we await the FBI report, so we can focus our intercession on the real problem. Pray for truth!

(Doreen just commented that even innocent blood is part of the discussion because of Roe V Wade and the pro-life/abortion issue.)

I understand that Judge Kavanaugh’s wife, Ashley, has requested that believers pray Psalm 40 for their family. Here is a portion, but please pray the entire Psalm. What a great glory to God that their daughter included prayer for the accuser in their family prayers.

Be pleased, O Yehovah, to deliver me;

O Yehovah, make haste to help me!

Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion

Who seek to destroy my life;

Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor

Who wish me evil.

Let them be confounded because of their shame,

Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;

Let such as love Your salvation say continually,

“Yehovah be magnified!”

But I am poor and needy;

Yet Yehovah thinks upon me.

You are my help and my deliverer;

Do not delay, O my God.

Psalm 40:13-17

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

While You Were Watching

28 09 2018

Plenty of words are flying around about the US Supreme Court, but while you were watching that “must see TV” something else was happening at the United Nations. Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel gave an amazing speech that you don’t want to miss. Please watch it here, which includes the transcript. He shows a map of Iran’s hidden nuclear storage site. (Also, Hezbollah missile sites near Beirut Airport in Lebanon)

“Thus says Yehovah to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, Yehovah, Who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.” Isaiah 45:1-3

Please continue to pray for me as I complete my New Hampshire ministry this Sunday morning and Sunday night in Milton, NH.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

A Little Humor for Sukkot

21 09 2018

I am in New England ministering the next two weekends which span the 8 days of Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles. With all the sober news in the world, a bit of humor is in order. I gleaned a few laughs from the Levitt Letter worth sharing:

Short Summary of every Jewish holiday: “They tried to kill us. We won. Let’s eat!”

There is a big controversy on the Jewish view of when life begins. In Jewish tradition the fetus is not considered viable until it graduates from medical school.

What’s the difference between a Rottweiler and a Jewish mother? Eventually, the Rottweiler lets go.

Jewish Adage: “You don’t stop laughing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop laughing.”

A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. Proverbs 17:22

Have a blessed season of celebration of Yehovah God’s provision. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Repentance X 4

17 09 2018

Maybe I had too much free time during Hurricane Florence this week, but my thoughts have turned to repentance. Also, Tuesday at sundown is the start of Yom Kippur, the highest holy day in the Jewish calendar, which happens to be about repentance. My “brain floaters” (see: Brain Floaters) even drifted over to the bombshell accusation of Judge Kavanaugh. Here are my four thoughts in order.

Repent. We have already heard the usual criticisms of the weather forecasters for “exaggerating” the hurricane. And yet, thousands (probably millions) of people were praying that the possible Category 4 storm would diminish, turn out to sea, or in some way not be as bad as predicted. Their. Prayers. Were. Answered. I am sure there was a lot of repentance going on in the Carolinas. Yes, of course, it is still terrible. And the flooding will be terrible for weeks. But it was not a Cat 4! I personally saw SW Miami a few weeks after Hurricane Andrew. It was like a 30 mile wide tornado had roared through. There were no homes standing. Folks could not even find their streets because all landmarks were obliterated including trees and street signs leveled. Hurricane Florence hit as a Cat 1. Thank you merciful Father Yehovah God and Messiah Yeshua, for sparing us “the big one.”
Yom Kippur is primarily about repentance where observant Jews acknowledges their need of forgiveness through repentance. In Judaism, Yehovah covers their sins for another year. In Jesus, our sins are taken away permanently. Hallelujah! The Judeo/Christian heritage is one of forgiveness and second chances. The prayers of Yom Kippur are focused on the confession of guilt and on petitioning, both privately and publicly, for mercy.
But Messiah having come as a Kohen Gadol (high priest) of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation, nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. HNV – Hebrew Names Version
Why read Jonah on Yom Kippur? The prayers of Yom Kippur are focused on the confession of guilt and on petitioning, both privately and publicly, for mercy. The entire Old Testament book of Jonah is read as part of the liturgy for Yom Kippur, because of its emphasis on God’s forgiveness for those who repent. (WRAL.com) Connecting Jonah to Florence is easy. After Nineveh repented, God spared the city from utter destruction, and Jonah complained! He had prophesied destruction and God showed mercy. Moral?: Don’t complain that Florence was not as bad as predicted, be thankful.
What about the Kavanaugh accusation? Don’t you think 36 years of outstanding moral reputation is enough to conclude he is trustworthy? I don’t believe he is guilty, but even if one were guilty, I thought we were a country of forgiveness and second chances. His life bears the evidence of a man who has already faced his sins and found forgiveness. Let’s leave that dubious politically timed move alone. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. Do you want to know what Judge Kavanaugh believes? Look at the life he has led for 36 years.

Pray for our country, pray for Jerusalem, and pray that some of our rain would go to Israel.

Trump Stands with Israel

12 09 2018

This week the Trump Administration made two more decisive declarations, in a speech by US National Security Adviser John Bolton. He announced the closing of the Palestinian office in Washington, DC and also denounced the International Criminal Court (ICC). The PLO office was closed for calling for the ICC to charge Israelis with war crimes and for lack of cooperation with President Trump on his peace plan. The ICC was rejected officially because they threatened to charge our soldiers in Afghanistan with war crimes. The ICC has done the same with Israeli soldiers without charging Hamas terrorists who regularly attack civilians including women and children. Hamas is on our terrorist list and is well-known for using women and children as human shields. Yet, the ICC only charges Israel and the US.

John Bolton threatens war crimes court with sanctions in virulent attack – US national security adviser calls ICC illegitimate and says “we will let it die on its own.” “The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court,” Bolton said.

He said the Trump administration would “fight back” and impose sanctions – even seeking to criminally prosecute ICC officials – if the court formally proceeded with opening an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by US military and intelligence staff during the war in Afghanistan or pursued any investigation into Israel or other US allies.

“If the court comes after us, Israel, or other US allies we will not sit quietly,” he said, also threatening to impose the same sanctions on any country that aided the investigation. He condemned the inquiry into war crimes in Afghanistan as an “utterly unfounded, unjustifiable investigation” and the court as illegitimate. “We will let the ICC die on its own. After all, for all intents and purposes, the ICC is already dead,” Bolton said. The Guardian

Bolton: International Criminal Court Will Face Repercussions If Americans Prosecuted – “The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by the illegitimate court,” Bolton said during a speech to the Federalist Society in Washington, D.C. He said the court is a threat to American sovereignty and national security, arguing that the court has very little accountability and that its definitions of crimes are “vague and subject to wide-ranging interpretation.”

Calling the proposed investigation of war crimes in Afghanistan “utterly unfounded,” Bolton said the Trump administration will ban the court’s judges and prosecutors from entering the US if they move ahead with any prosecutions of Americans. Bolton also warned that the administration would work to sanction the funds of ICC officials and that officials would be prosecuted in U.S. criminal courts. NPR

I praise God that the Trump Administration continues to stand with Israel. It is the singular most important reason that Yehovah is blessing our President. The plots against him will fail as long as he stays true to Israel. We must pray for him faithfully. There are many believers who believe that President Donald Trump is a modern fulfillment of the ancient Persian King Cyrus who helped the Jews rebuild Jerusalem.

This is what Yehovah says to Cyrus, his anointed one,

whose right hand he will empower.

Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear.

Their fortress gates will be opened,

never to shut again.

This is what Yehovah says:

“I will go before you, Cyrus,

and level the mountains.

I will smash down gates of bronze

and cut through bars of iron.

And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—

secret riches.

I will do this so you may know that I am Yehovah,

the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name. Isaiah 45:1-3 NLT

Listen for the Trumpet Sounds

7 09 2018

Did you hear the one about the long-awaited Messiah finally arriving in Jerusalem? The Mayor of Jerusalem goes out to meet him and welcomes him to Jerusalem. But the mayor says: “I just have one question. Is this your first or second visit?”

Jews believe he has not come yet. But Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah who came 2,000 years ago to become the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world to all who receive Him, especially the Jews. But both believe the Messiah is coming soon!

Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Matthew 24:34-36

Which generation will not pass till all is fulfilled? If you study Matthew 24 and Luke 21 you will find the only time specific reference is the status of Jerusalem. Jesus prophesied its downfall: “It will be trodden down (ruled) by the gentiles.”

And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Luke 21:24

So, Jerusalem’s fall would last UNTIL. That is a timing word. We now know when the “until” happened. It was June 1967 that Israel regained sovereignty over Jerusalem from the gentiles. This restoration followed the scattering to all nations. This is all now in our rear view mirror. It’s history. Therefore we are the generation that will not pass away till the Messiah comes!

Jesus said exactly when He would come. Most Christians believe He was obscuring the timing with His answer. On the contrary, He actually specified the timing. The phrase “no man knows the day or hour” was almost a cliché’ in Jesus’ day. It was a common expression among the Jews of that day referring to the timing of the Fall Feasts of Yehovah. These were: Trumpets, Yom Kippur and Tabernacles. (For my teaching on the Feasts, please listen to my radio interview for ten minutes on each of the seven Feasts.)

The Fall feasts begin with Trumpets or Yom Teruah This year it is officially Sunday sundown to Tuesday sundown, September 9-10. This is an arbitrary fixed date set by Rabbinic Judaism. However, the Biblical commencing of Yom Teruah or Trumpets, begins on the first sighting of the new moon in the seventh month from Jerusalem. (Using the Biblical method to figure it is a characteristic of Karaite (Bible believing) Jews. Here is a link to Nehemiah Gordon, a leading Karaite).

So what? Well, I believe Jesus was telling His disciples He would come during the Fall Feasts, specifically Trumpets.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52

There are five elements that make the actual day or hour unknowable.

The confusion caused by the arbitrary Rabbinic calendar.
The actual day of sighting the new moon could vary by weather conditions, cloud cover, etc.
Even the hour could vary if the evening started cloudy early and cleared up later, for example.
The “last trumpet” could refer to the last shofar during Yom Teruah (trumpets) beginning the Fall feast.
Or, the “last trumpet” could even refer to the trumpet sounded at the end of Yom Kippur.

Therefore, even though the day or hour is unknown, I believe Jesus was speaking clearing to His disciples that He would come during the first ten days of the Fall Feasts, which then leads to Tabernacles where God will live with men and celebrate the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

May it be this year, Yeshua ben Yehovah – Jesus Son of God – Yeshua haMashiach – Jesus the Messiah!

Yehovah has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and eat them as ordinary food. For there shall be a day when the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim, ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to Yehovah our God.’ ” Jeremiah 31:3-6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.
