Hamas: Operation Al-Aqsa Flood

14 12 2023

Israel-wall-down-in-hamas-alaqsa-flood-success-cropped-281555216

“Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” is what Hamas called their massacre of 1,200 Israeli civilians on October 7th. We are truly living in Biblical history in real time. It was the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust of World War II. You may not know that the lie of “defending Al-Aqsa” mosque on the Temple Mount actually was first used in the 1920s, leading to the massacre of 67 Jews in Hebron in 1929. Yet, the Al Aqsa mosque still stands even though it is completely under Israeli sovreignty since 1967. If Israel wanted to destroy it, they could. Notice the prophetic match of this verse:

“So shall they fear the name of Yehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of Yehovah will lift up a standard against him.”  Isaiah 59:19

Do you think it is a coincidence that Hamas copied that terminology? Satan has no creative ability, he can only copy and pervert God’s plans. The good news is that God is always able to turn the evil around to Yehovah’s good purpose. Here is the classic example from Joseph in Egypt.

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”  Genesis 50:20

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. Yehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”  Psalm 46:1-7

Pray for hearts of Jews and Arabs alike to turn to the living God. Yehovah has the final say! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, wisdom for the leaders, and rain for the land!

God Takes Written Notes of Our Words

26 07 2023

God-is-listening-lg-300x300

Did you know that Yehovah listens to our conversation with one another? Even better, He has a written book of remembrance of our words, if we fear Him and meditate on His name. So, it is not all conversations, but the ones talking about Him! Of course, He can hear every conversation with everybody all the time. But He only has a written record of those who respect Him and think a lot about His name.

“Then those who feared Yehovah spoke to one another, and Yehovah listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear Yehovah and who meditate on His name.” Malachi 3:16

That’s not all. He also calls them His own special treasure and offers unique protection for them. God will treat them as a father does a son that he loves.

“They shall be Mine,” says Yehovah of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” Malachi 3:17

Finally, there is a change that takes place, when we talk a lot about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You gain discernment about righteous people and wicked people. Because we are meditating on God, we begin to see how holy God is. The more we get to know Him, the easier it is to find clarity about life and relationships. If we only compare ourselves to one another we may look pretty good. But when we think about how glorious God is, we get a whole new perspective.

“Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God
and one who does not serve Him.”  Malachi 3:18

I said last week with Joshua: As for me and my house, we will serve Yehovah!” Let’s talk about Him more. Let our conversations be about Him. He is wonderfully wonderful! Are your conversation being written down for God to keep track of them? They are if they are about Him.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and rain in season.

21 Days Praying & Fasting for Israel – 1 Million +

4 05 2023

2023 Wall

Isaiah 62 Fast for Israel

God is calling His Believers who Love Israel and the Jews to pray for them from May 7- 28.
Here is what Mike Bickle says about this:

“Join over 1 million believers who will engage in prayer for Israel for at least one hour a day for 21 days (May 7-28) for the increase of God’s salvation promises and plans for Jerusalem and Israel. Some will pray alone and others will pray with 2 or more (Mt. 18:20)—virtually or in-person—in their home, office, dorm, or at their church, etc.

A collaboration of several thousand ministries —including Lou Engle, Jason Hubbard, Mike Bickle—are calling 1 million believers to participate in a global solemn assembly (May 7-28)to fast in various ways and to pray for the Lord’s purposes for Israel AND to ask Him to raise up 100 million intercessors for Israel according to His promise in Isaiah 62:6 to sovereignly “set,” “appoint,” or “mark” intercessors who will remind the Lord of His promises for Jerusalem until Jesus returns. Isaiah 62:6 is an end-time promise that is now escalating across the earth.”

On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed [set, KJV] watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You [intercessors] who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; 7And give Him no rest until He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth [at Jesus’ return]. (Isa. 62:6-7, NAS

Israel’s Flying Car

22 12 2022

An employee of Israeli startup AIR sits in a prototype of AIR ONE, an electric vehicle designed to fly commuters on short trips far above streets overcrowded with cars in Beersheba

Here is a fun story over the holidays. It is another example of God’s blessing on Israeli innovation. May you and your family be blessed and prosper as you celebrate Hanukkah and the birth of our Messiah! Shalom, shalom.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Israeli startup’s ‘flying car’ – What was once considered a futuristic science fiction concept might soon be commonplace as an Israeli-made vehicle designed to fly commuters on short trips far above the traffic-laden streets has made its maiden crewless flight. It may look like simply another drone takeoff featuring a propellered aircraft rising vertically off the ground and then thrusting forward high in the sky. But soon, this one – made by Israeli startup AIR – will be able to carry two people.

Israeli Startup Makes Inroads With Personal Flying Vehicle – Beersheva, Israel (Reuters) – An Israeli-made electric vehicle designed to fly commuters on short trips far above streets overcrowded with cars has made its maiden unmanned flight, a milestone the developer says will help it reach the market in the next two years.

God has promised Israel that He would bring favor to them at an appointed time. We now see that it is our generation. For eighteen hundred years Israel suffered the judgement of God. But, in 1948 after the Holocaust, God turned the page from judgement to favor and blessing. We have seen the miraculous rebirth of a nation and a people. Israel is enjoying unprecedented blessing and growth. And it is because of the faithfulness of Yehovah God.

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. For Your servants take pleasure in her stones and show favor to her dust. So the nations shall fear the name of Yehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. For Yehovah shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.”  Psalm 102:13-16

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for abundant seasonal rains.

Hypocrisy, Coffee, and My Life Verse

26 08 2022
IMG_20220825_001852_378

Quoted from Twitter

This is from our “You can’t make this up” Department. Starbucks promoted mail-in ballots for politics, but view them as untrustworthy for their own union elections. Starbucks is not even faithful to their own stance, but two-faced when it affects the bottom line. What hypocrisy! My emphasis for decades has been the faithfulness of God. He is always the same, immutable, unchangeable. You cannot separate faith from faithfulness. If you truly believe God, you will live like you believe; that is faithfulness.

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13

He cannot deny Himself! He is always faithful no matter what we do. He does not follow us, He leads us by example. He is the model; we are not. This brings me to my main point of my life verse.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

There are two requirements of faith here. First, we must believe God exists. That’s easy. Even the demons know He exists, and they tremble. That is not enough!

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:19-20

My life verse has guided me for over sixty years. God is a rewarder! He who comes to God must believe that He exists AND secondly; we must believe that He is a REWARDER of those who really seek Him. Have you ever accused God of letting you down? Are you tempted to believe the fault for your failures lies with Him? Do you project your own unfaithfulness onto God?

The wonderful news is that He is always faithful, even when we are not! If you keep seeking Him, He will never let you down. He is faithful. Yehovah God is faithful. Jesus is faithful. Holy Spirit is faithful! Repent. Trust Him. Believe that He will absolutely reward your seeking of Him. Live for Him!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for seasonal rain.

What Time Is It?

14 05 2022

Screenshot 2022-05-14 145022

Timing is everything. What time is it now? Bible prophecy is always dependent on timing. Everything does not happen at once. Sequences of events lead chronologically step by step. Contrary to popular opinion, history is not circular, it is linear. Genesis is the account of “the beginning.” God has a purpose that has a beginning and ending. The end is His perfect Kingdom of righteousness with no sin, sickness, sorrow, or death. Consider these examples.

  1. Biblical Esther came for “such a time as this.” For her, it was a critical role in the literal saving of the Jewish race. She was willing to die, “to perish,” if necessary. As I prepare to speak in two weeks at the Arise and Shine Conference at Living Waters Ranch in Challis, Idaho, this theme is on my heart. “If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 NLT
  2. The tribe of Issachar “understood the times” and knew what Israel ought to do. How many Christians today know what time it is? Are Christians like the Pharisees?
“One day the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test Jesus, demanding that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority. He replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times!” Matthew 16:1-3 NLT
  3. Jesus Himself even had to wait for the timing of His death. He is also waiting for the timing of His return, known only to the Father. He often said His time was not yet, until it became “the time.” You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come.” When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.” John 7:8-9 But then later… Jesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.” John 12:23-24 NLT
  4. It is high time to wake up! And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:11-14

So, where are we on this timeline? I believe we are at a crossroads for our nation. It is time to wake up, stand up, and speak up for the Kingdom of Yehovah God and His Messiah. He is our only hope. But through Him we are “more than conquerors.” More are they that are with us than they that are with the enemy, as Elisha told his servant when surrounded by the Syrian army.

It is time to open our eyes to the eternal purpose of God. You may feel surrounded, or even hopeless, but God is in control. Jesus is on the throne! His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Don’t give up!

Why Pray for Israel Rain?

26 03 2022

Sea of Galilee 2

Just so you know, it is commanded by God to pray for rain in Israel. There is even a specific prophetic timing to do it. There are four related prophetic reasons, but here is the first and most direct command.

Ask Yehovah for rain in the time of the latter rain. Yehovah will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone. Zechariah 10:1

  1. Command to pray for rain.
  2. Specific timing to pray for rain.
  3. Desert will blossom “like a rose.”
  4. We are living in the time of restoration of Israel.

The second reason is the timing mentioned in that verse, “the time of the latter rain.” This refers to Joel’s prophecy of the last days outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the start of the “church age” and the end. Peter identified the early rain on the day of Pentecost. We are now seeing the last great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our generation. This is precisely the prophesied “time of the latter rain.”

Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in Yehovah your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, and the latter rain.

“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:23 & 28

Third, there is a specific promise of the Negev, Israel’s southern desert. Where it was once a forest, it is now desert because of God’s judgement. Yet the promise remains that it will blossom again!

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; Isaiah 35:1

Those who come He shall cause to take root in Jacob; Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit. Isaiah 27:6

The fourth reason to pray for Israel rain is that we are living in the time of Israel’s restoration. After 1,800 years of judgement, God turned the page after the Holocaust and Israel as a nation was reborn. The exiles are retuning from all the countries where they were scattered. Yehovah has restored the land, the people, the language, the capital city, and most importantly, His favor. Since 70 A.D. the Jews never won a war. From 1948 they never lost a war. What changed? God turned the page from judgement to restoration, favor, and blessing. Hallelujah!

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” Psalm 102:13

Israel faces very cold, wet weekend as Kinneret continues to rise  With rain expected to continue over the weekend, the Kinneret is set to rise to just half a meter below maximum capacity. March 25, 2022

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain!

The Other “F” Word

4 09 2020

7 keys to life

There are few more vile words in the English language than the “F” word. No need to expound on its many manifestations. Suffice it to say that it is ungodly, immoral, disrespectful, hurtful, profane, and ignorant. This was the kind of thing the Bible warns us to avoid.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.” Ephesians 5:8-12

THE OTHER “F” WORD – While it is human nature to strike out or strike back at others, Jesus has a better way: FORGIVENESS is the best antidote to offense, anger, and even hatred. We are quite familiar with “70 X 7,” but do we actually practice it?

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22

The vile “F” word brings only separation, but forgiveness brings healing. Our modern profane and rebellious culture cannot be healed by one side winning, but through forgiveness. This is not possible in the natural man, but only through Jesus and our Judeo/Christian heritage.

God’s forgiveness does not ignore sin, but rather faces and acknowledges it. Repentance means more than saying: “I’m sorry,” but goes a step further to say: “I was wrong!” That is where we find healing and forgiveness.

As we pray for our nation, let us remember this great principle and pray fervently for forgiveness.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Yehovah, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for our nation.

Kenya for Israel 2020

21 08 2020

117030314_396767604631148_4435695905716697649_n

My third year speaking at the Kenya PDA (Purpose, Destiny, Achievement) Conference was virtual this year. Last year Doreen and I were honored to speak to nearly 5,000 young Kenyans in Bungoma County. It was limited to 100 in person this year because of the China virus. Yet, several speakers from the U.S. and India were able to speak on video in addition to Kenya church leaders in person, along with the founder, Michael Masambu.

Pastor Masambu started 20 years ago with 17 youth. The future is bright for Kenya with all the leaders that have been raised up already, and the best is yet to come. Please Pray for Michael as he continues to expand his vision for Jesus and the Kingdom of God for Kenya and the world. Michael and I are nearly finished with his biography that will be printed, Lord willing, in Kenya and in the States. Here is the title: The Swahili Man – A Village Boy Who Became A Man of God for Kenya

My two sessions are now available on my YouTube channel by simply searching my name, Les Lawrence, on YouTube. But, here are links if you are interested in my requested subjects:

WHY Pray for Israel?

HOW to Pray for Israel

Cool Israeli Election Ad

24 02 2020

This is he best Netanyahu Israeli election campaign ad yet! Only eight days until the third election in a year demands this change of pace ad. In Israel he is widely known by his nickname, Bibi, which is used in this video. Humor, positivity and truth always works best (with a nod to the Beatles). I am praying for a miraculous victory for a strong conservative and godly  government for Israel.

Seriously, we need to pray for Israeli election coming just next week (Monday March 2). I favor Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu, but my prayer is for Yehovah God’s choice.

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kingsHe gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. Daniel 2:20-21

Pray for peace, pray for the election and pray for rain.

Is Israel the Garden of Eden?

20 05 2019

Yad Vashem view today

View from Yad Vashem today

“So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden;” Ezekiel 36:35

Doreen and I first visited Israel 35 years ago in 1984. My memory of the Jerusalem hills is that they were rocky and quite barren. The picture below is from that trip. You can see the horizon, beyond the sculpture. It is clear that there are relatively few trees. The above picture is close to the same area today! (Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center)

1984 at Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem view in 1984

Am I saying that Israel is the garden of Eden? I really don’t know where it was, but the promise is clear. People will “say” that it is like the garden of Eden. That is my point. The contrast from just the last 35 years is stark. Imagine the changes since Jew first started returning to the land 150 years ago! More than 250 million trees have been planted since 1900. The Jewish National Fund plants 3 million trees as year!

Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt. The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, Yehovah, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, Yehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.” Ezekiel 36:33-36

Kenya Final Update

14 12 2018

20181203_083855

It is great to be home again after wonderful ministry in Kenya to 2,600 young people at the 18th annual PDA Conference in Kimilili, Kenya near the Uganda border in western Kenya. PDA stand for Purpose-Destiny-Achievement. (Click here for videos.)

I spoke ten times, six at the conference and four in local churches. Future leaders of Kenya and missionaries to the nations were called from the youth there from high school, college and young professional. Many pastors also attended. Although most were committed believers, there were over 100 born again and filled with the Holy Spirit.

My goal of providing seed for the sowers, regarding God’s restoration of Israel and our call to stand with Israel as a blessing to the nations, was exceeded. Doreen and I were particularly blessed to connect and impart our Israel vision to three specific leaders from Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Uganda, who vowed to take the Israel “seed” to their respective nations. Several Kenyan pastors were inspired to visit Israel as soon as possible.

Psalm 102 (which I call the “Holocaust Psalm”), was the core of much of my teaching. Verse 13 was key as the point Yehovah turned the page for Israel from judgement to favor after 1,878 years from 70 AD to 1948. I pointed out that Israel never won a war during that severe period of judgement and scattering among the nations. But since 1948 they have not lost a war because God turned the page to restoration, blessing, regathering, rebuilding, and favor.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
For the time to favor her,
Yes, the set time, has come.
Psalm 102:13

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:19-21

Thank you for all who prayed for us and supported us for this amazing two weeks in Africa. May Yehovah God’s plan and purpose be fulfilled for each one of the blessed participants. Special thanks and honor to our host, Pastor Michael Masambu.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

We leave tomorrow, Nov 29 for two weeks ministering in Kenya. You may be able to make out our picture on the left side of the above banner. Pastor Michael Masambu specifically requested that I speak in seven sessions on the covenant with Israel for all believers. There are expected to be 2,000 young future leaders of Africa at this conference. The ages include high school, college and young professionals from Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.

We covet your prayerful intercession as we speak the heart of God for His beloved Israel. I will also be speaking in churches in Nairobi and elsewhere. If you are on Facebook, I hope to post updates on our Elisha Vision page. When you visit, please like the page. Thank you.

“This is what Yehovah says: You have said, ‘This is a desolate land where people and animals have all disappeared.’ Yet in the empty streets of Jerusalem and Judah’s other towns, there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to Yehovah. They will sing, ‘Give thanks to Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies, for Yehovah is good. His faithful love endures forever!’ For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says Yehovah. Here is a way to read the first few chapters for free. Click here to download the free Kindle App for IOS, Android, Mac and/or PC; and then click here for the free sample of Speak to the Dirt! Notice that it is not the Kindle Unlimited box in gold, but the blue box a little further down on the left which says: “Send a free sample.” Thanks. Enjoy!

Why would God command a man to speak to dirt? Yet “Prophesy!” is the command that the Lord Yehovah gave to Ezekiel. Its force is no less urgent today. End time prophecy regarding Israel is being fulfilled before our very eyes and the church needs to understand what God is doing in the Promised Land today.
A tremendous ingathering of souls is taking place all over the world. This is even more significant when considering the physical and spiritual ingathering of the Jewish people. In this book you will see how the events in Israel reflect the Fulfillment of God’s plan, the coming of the Messiah!
“The spotlight of history is not held in man’s hand but in the hand of God. He is the Director of the Final Act – He will do precisely what he has always said he would do!” (Excerpt from Speak to the Dirt! by Les Lawrence)

Who is Fair?

22 06 2018

Fairness

Here is a little something to ponder as you unplug from work this weekend.

While raising our three daughters, the question of fairness came up occasionally. Children can be quick to conclude they are being treated unfairly, usually because they don’t get their way. But fairness is not so much a question of what, but of who.

When a parent defends his judgement “…because I say so!” it can fall short, because we are imperfect and can be wrong. However when God defines fairness, He is 100% right, since it issues out from His perfect character of righteousness and truth. If you have an argument with God, the solution is simple; admit that you are wrong and He is right. Turn from you wrong-doing and line up with His will. “Turn (repent) and Live!” is His advice.

“Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:25-32

God has no pleasure in death. Many will die in sin, but it grieves the Father God. He has given us the choice to turn to Him or refuse. He does not force us to repent. That is on us. He provided the way out for us by sacrificing His Son, the Messiah Yeshua to die for us and thus satisfy Yehovah’s righteousness. Therefore turn and live!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Fruitful Idaho Ministry

18 06 2018

Challis, IdHere is a quick update of our Idaho ministry so far. I have spoken in eight different meetings, seven in Sandpoint and one in Challis. There is an amazing hunger for Israel news. I am finding that in spite of anti-Israel propaganda on media, folks are hearing the voice of Yehovah calling out to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

We met a precious body of believers in Challis, Idaho which is in the central mountains about an eight hour drive from Sandpoint in northern Idaho. You go through Missoula, Montana to get there, which is halfway. The leader of Living Waters Ranch (2700 acres) is Christopher James whom I know from years ago in Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida. We had great fellowship with Christopher and Debbie. They raise cattle, fish, vegetables, and strawberries, as well as a beautiful gourmet quality restaurant. You should visit Tea Cup Cafe when you get to Challis.

My brother Ken and good friend Ross Hall and I had three wonderful days together on that trip. The Living Water Ranch vision is to prepare to accommodate over 40,000 refugees. Thank you for praying for our weeks here in the spectacular Pacific Northwest. I have two more engagements to preach at the Sandpoint Assembly of God on Wednesday night and Cocolalla Cowboy Church next Sunday.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard Psalm 19:1-3

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Happy Israel 70 Years!

21 04 2018

Dry Bones 70

Seventy years ago David Ben-Gurion publicly read aloud Israel’s Declaration of Independence. According to the Gregorian calendar, that day was May 14, 1948.
According to the Jewish calendar that day was the fifth day of the month of Iyar in the year 5708. So, in Israel they celebrated this week and also in May. Dry Bones

The US Embassy is opening in Jerusalem the day before and the Guatemala Embassy opens the day after. Other countries will soon follow. At least a dozen or so are working through legal details to move their embassies. It is about time that all nations recognize the reality that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel. Praise the Lord!

Persecution and the Resurrection

31 03 2018

Dry Bones Jews of Europe

Jews have the right of return to their own country, but where do persecuted Christians find refuge? Christians rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus, but are the most persecuted. Christians are the world’s most-persecuted religion

You would think that America would be the place of refuge for Christians, but that has been a problem. In 2016, under the Obama administration, Muslim refugees were given priority over Christians. Yet, Christians are the most persecuted group world-wide. How ironic that we celebrate the resurrection this week while our brothers and sisters are killed. Why can’t Muslim countries take Muslim refugees?

Of the nearly 85,000 refugees admitted to the U.S. in fiscal 2016, 38,901 were Muslims, while 37,521 were Christians, according to a Pew Research Center report

According to that same report, about 99 percent of Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. were Muslim, while less than 1 percent were Christian.

The good news is that President Trump is trying to correct the problem. Trump: Persecuted Christian refugees will get priority.

We are so insulated in the U.S. that most Christians are oblivious to the oppression and death of Christians in other countries. 215 MILLION?

The Top 50 Countries Where It’s Most Dangerous to Follow Jesus Approximately 215 million Christians now experience high, very high, or extreme levels of persecution; that means 1 in 12 Christians live where Christianity is “illegal, forbidden, or punished,” according to Open Doors researchers.

We have always known as believers, that our only hope is in Yehovah God and His Son, Yeshua. We face death with the confident hope of eternal life, which is quite different from those who have no hope. However, as we pause to celebrate the supernatural resurrection and the defeat of death itself, remember the millions of fellow believers enduring persecution for the same faith. Pray for them. Don’t feel pity, because they testify of the honor of suffering for Him and they rejoice, just as Jesus predicted.

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39

Pray for persecuted Christians and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Passover News from Israel

27 03 2018

Passover at Temple MtHere are some very interesting stories about Passover from Israeli news sources for your enjoyment. My last commentary was about why Christian Zionists observe Passover. This time I just want to share a glimpse into modern Israeli culture around Passover which starts at sundown this Friday.

Treasure trove of ancient Jewish ‘freedom coins’ just in time for Passover  JERUSALEM, Israel – Hebrew University archaeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar uncovered a rare treasure trove of bronze coins from the time of the Jewish revolt against the Romans more than 1,900 years ago. “A discovery like this – ancient coins bearing the words ‘Freedom’ and ‘Redemption’ – found right before the Jewish Festival of Freedom, Passover, begins is incredibly moving,” she said.

Third Temple Alert: Police Authorize Passover Sacrifice Next to Temple Mount – Last year, the Passover sacrifice was conducted in the courtyard of the nearby Hurva Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City, some 450 yards from the Temple Mount. This year, it will take place at the Davidson Center, an archaeological park situated at the southern foot of the sacred plateau, and just below the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Symbolic and Traditional Passover Recipes A poll just taken in Israel – which, incidentally has a majority secular population – found that 67.3 percent of Israeli Jews will eat only kosher (satisfying the requirements of Jewish law) food for Passover and that 63.1 percent will also clean their homes, removing all traces of hametz, or unleavened products, symbolic of sin. (Note from Les: The author made what I am sure was simply a typo. It is “leavened” products removed, not unleavened.)

PA: Passover rites a ‘dangerous precedent’ – Palestinian Authority says Jewish worship in vicinity of Temple Mount is unacceptable, vows to continue to pay terrorists.

So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to Yehovah  throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses.Exodus 12:14-15

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Lost in Translation…

17 03 2018

For some time now I have listened to the voice of Yehovah God regarding a bombshell controversy in the Bible translation business. Here is the issue in a nutshell. Three major translators today are substituting the name of the god of Islam for Yehovah in Bibles intended for Muslim countries in their own languages. Their rationale is to make it more acceptable to their readers. On the surface, it may sound like a good evangelistic plan.

However, if you trick people into reading the Bible by deceiving them about the nature of God, you confuse rather than convert. Many moderns think Islam is some great complex religion, impossible to grasp. Allow me to simplify. The god of Islam is not a father and does not have a son, according to all their holy books and writings. This is indisputable from their own sources. The God of the Bible is a father and has a son revealed in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

What does this conclude? The god of Islam is a different god. Period. Full stop. Selah.

Therefore, we do not “all worship the same god” no matter how many people, how high their place (including pastors and presidents) say otherwise. It really is that simple. You need go no further. You do not need 20 hours of comparative religion classes to “understand” Islam. You need to read your Bible. What part of: “You shall have no other gods before me” don’t you get? Exodus 20:3

The translation deception is only possible, because for millenia translators have refused to translate the name of God, Yehovah, conforming instead to Jewish rabbinic tradition. They substitute the generic LORD (in all caps) for His name. Yehovah is His personal name, mentioned 6,828 times in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. Try reversing the substitution in your own reading. Say Yehovah every time it says LORD. You will open up an artesian well of revelation through Scripture.

Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know? Proverbs 30:4

I will declare the decree: Yehovah has said to Me, “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.” Psalm 2:7

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. Psalm 2:12

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

One Day: No More Wars!

8 03 2018

Enjoy this wonder song recorded in Haifa, Israel. 3,000 Israeli Jews, Christians and Muslims singing in harmony. It sounds very Messianic to me. May the Messiah come soon! Enjoy.

Here are the lyrics to “One Day” by Israeli singer, Matisyahu

Sometimes I lay under the moon and thank God I’m breathing then I pray don’t take me soon ’cause I am here for a reason.

Sometimes in my tears I drown but I never let it get me down. So when negativity surrounds I know some day it’ll all turn around because…

All my life I’ve been waiting for
I’ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There will be no more wars
And our children will play
One day [6x]

It’s not about win or lose ’cause we all lose when they feed on the souls of the innocent blood-drenched pavement keep on moving though the waters stay raging.

In this maze you can lose your way (your way)
It might drive you crazy but don’t let it faze you, no way (no way)

One day this all will change treat people the same stop with the violence down with the hate.

One day we’ll all be free and proud to be under the same sun singing songs of freedom like: One day [4x]

Sometimes in my tears I drown (I drown) But I never let it get me down (get me down)
So when negativity surrounds (surrounds) I know some day it’ll all turn around because..

All my life I’ve been waiting for
I’ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There will be no more wars
And our children will play
One day [6x] Matisyahu Lyrics (Singing Is Believing!)

And he will judge among the nations, and will rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plow-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2:4

Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem through Messiah Yeshua, and pray for rain.

Speak to the Dirt!

2 03 2018

Speak to the Dirt

Now available on Kindle

Why should I care about Jerusalem? The answer lies in a prophecy made by God to the LAND of Israel over 2,500 years ago. God gave a spoken word assignment to the Biblical prophet Ezekiel. It was a strange command to “speak to the dirt!” Ezekiel was told to literally travel all over the land of Israel and speak verbally to the hills, the valleys, the fields and the streams. We know God made a promise to the people of Israel, but He also gave these unconditional promises to the Land.

The recent proclamation by President Trump for the United States to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital was followed by moving our Embassy to the city of God. This is indeed a turning point in world history as Yehovah God keeps His faithful promises in our day.

For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of  Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. Joel 3:1-2

A tremendous in-gathering of souls is taking place all over the world. This is even more significant when considering the physical and spiritual in-gathering of the Jewish people. In this book you will see how the events in Israel reflect the Fulfillment of God’s plan, the coming of the Messiah!

The spotlight of history is not held in man’s hand but in the hand of God. He is the Director of the Final Act – He will do precisely what he has always said he would do! (Les Lawrence from Speak to the Dirt! Now available on Kindle!)

Red Sea Sunrise/Speak to the Dirt!

1 02 2018

shofar-Turquoise water — tan sand — and a tangerine sun! It was without question one of the most beautiful and indescribable sights of my life. Words fail to adequately portray the splendor on that exquisite shore of the timeless Red Sea. My friend, Duane Trochessett, and I had just come from Jerusalem in January 1990. We had participated in the most powerful prayer conference we had ever attended. After speaking to a congregation in Tiberias on Shabbat, Israel’s Sabbath, we traversed Israel from Galilee in the North, to the southernmost Israeli seaport of Elat. This modern city is located at the northern tip of the Red Sea. From there, we endured a rickety Egyptian public bus ride five hours further south through the Sinai Peninsula to a spot near its southernmost point. We lugged a two-man tent with us, which we pitched on a deserted stretch of Red Sea beach, a few miles north of Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.

We heard that the Red Sea had some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world along these shores and we were not disappointed. We walked up the pristine beach two or three miles, seeing no one else and feeling alone in the world. We then drifted and snorkeled, swimming with the current, back to our tent location among picturesque rocks on the tan beach. The underwater beauty of the Red Sea had never occurred to me before. The Bible does not refer to it, except for Pharaoh’s chariots and army ending up there.

Our greatest sight occurred the next morning at first light. The setting was already surreal; just being in such an exotic location at a time of personal renewal with God. We opened the flap on our eastward facing tent and were stunned with the view. Rising out of the turquoise sea was the largest sun we had ever seen, almost close enough to touch. It was the most incredible shade of color; the closest I can come is tangerine! It was perfectly round as it rose on the horizon, resurrecting out of the water. The lack of pollution in the cloudless blue sky eliminated the sun’s rays, making the stark contrast more amazing between that brilliant reddish-orange sun, the blue sky and the turquoise sea. The only slight comparison I can make, is to the occasional beautiful orange harvest moon I have seen a few times in New England. But this was the sun, a thousand times deeper in that surreal tangerine color, and a million times more radiant! Duane and I worshipped the Creator on that beach in a depth of personal connection with Him unlike any previous experience. We were not worshipping the creation, but the One Who had created. As you read this book, please try to rise above the history and logic of the words to see the God of the Bible, Who is the Faithful God of history.

Modern Israel has risen out of the sea of nations like that tangerine sun. In my opinion, this may be the most important book written on the subject of Israel and the Mid-East in this decade because of the critical message it contains for Christians. The amazing reappearance of Israel as a nation has profound importance regarding the nature of God. He directly links His covenant with Israel to His faithful nature, as seen in all creation:

Thus says Yehovah, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (Yehovah of hosts is His name): “If those ordinances depart From before Me, says Yehovah, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever” Jeremiah 31:36

While I claim no unusual credentials as a theologian in the academic tradition, nevertheless, the proper category for this book certainly is theology. But the style I have chosen in which to present my thesis is admittedly intended for a more popular and widespread readership. I will leave the subsequent debate over the finer points to others.

However, the theological issue is clear. The nature of God’s faithfulness, as a theological tenet, is being seriously undermined by Western Christian “pop theology” that divorces Christianity from its Jewish roots. But even more seriously, it divorces God from His own character. If God lied or changed His mind about His unconditional promises to Israel, then there would be no basis left to believe His covenant to Christians. God is either a covenant keeper or a covenant breaker. It cannot be both ways.

Hear the word of Yehovah, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.” Jeremiah 31:10

You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For Yehovah delights in you, and your land shall be married. Isaiah 62:4

(The preceding is a passage from my new Kindle book, Speak to the Dirt! God has had some mighty unusual assignments for His prophets. Ezekiel was one who was told to “speak to the dirt” by travelling around Israel 2500 years ago to tell the mountains, hills, valleys and streams of Yehovah’s faithfull promise of future restoration, not only of the people of Israel, but of the geographical land itself. I have been re-writing and updating my first book, Prophesy to the Land! I hope to make the Kindle version available this month. Please pray for the project and stay tuned.)

Here is a little taste of Israel to refresh your day. Enjoy.

Simple Islam – Now on Kindle

21 08 2017

Simple Islam Kindle cover

This is big news that I anticipated for a long time. You can now download my book, Simple Islam for a fraction of print cost. Just click on the cover photo or download directly from your Kindle app.

Simple Islam has been my most popular book yet. Here is brief introduction:

IRRECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE BIBLE AND ISLAM. Contrary to majority opinion, we do not all worship the same God. Christians and Jews worship Yehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Clearly identified as a Father in the Bible, He also has a Son.

Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if you know? Proverbs 30:4

Islam, by contrast, adamantly denies their god is a father or has a son. The Jesus of the Quran is not the Son of God, and did not die. The aim of Simple Islam is to clear the chatter that confuses the issue. Les Lawrence

Please read this book and then encourage your friends to get it. The printed version is also available on Amazon. It is critical that we understand the threat and know the simple answers to counter the lies and propaganda.

Thank you for giving it a look.

White House Bible Studies

5 08 2017

WASHINGTON – A spiritual awakening is underway at the White House. Some of the most powerful people in America have been gathering weekly to learn more about God’s Word, and this Trump Cabinet Bible study is making history. They’ve been called the most evangelical Cabinet in history – men and women who don’t mince words when it comes to where they stand on God and the Bible. CBN News

Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agricultural Secretary Sonny Perdue, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are counted among its regular participants. Vice President Mike Pence, who described himself during the 2016 campaign as “a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order,” is present for the Bible study as often as his travel schedule allows. I Voted

7 11 2016

I Voted With Stars Clipart

I prayed.

I studied.

I prayed.

I listened.

I prayed.

I debated.

I prayed.

And then, I voted.

I rejoice that Yehovah God is sovereign, and that He is a good, good Father. But, I am not a fatalist. Christians have a responsibility. This is because God created us with the ability to respond. We are accountable to Him for our response.

Fatalism says God does everything and we do not affect the outcome. I beg to differ. My choices directly affect my future. I chose to believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah and God has counted it to me for righteousness. I have made myriads of bad choices and suffered the consequences. My vote is not the end of the world, but at the end of the world I want my choices to line up with God’s will.

Therefore, after due diligence, I voted. Please vote tomorrow if you have not yet voted. The result is certainly in God’s hands, but He expects us to do our part. We will all experience the consequences together.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

Native American Historic Forgiveness

25 10 2016

all-tribes“TODAY MAY GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT IN AMERICAN HISTORY.” An extraordinary event happened in Washington, DC last Friday while no one was watching. Representatives of nearly all native American nations gathered for one purpose in prayer led by Chief Dr. Negiel Big Pond. They were there to declare forgiveness to the United States of America for all the  treaties broken by the US. If you don’t know the history, almost every treaty was broken. The US government has a miserable record toward the sovereign Indian nations.

Chiefs and leaders from 1,000 tribes met to simply forgive. The US did not ask for it. Indian leaders initiated it out of Christian love, as a way to remove America from the righteous consequences of broken governmental vows. This is is their statement:

“We, the All Tribes DC Council invite all Tribes and Nations to join us on October 21, 2016 at the Washington Memorial in Washington, DC to release the power of forgiveness and to bring healing and restoration to America.
As indigenous people of this land, we carry a governmental responsibility to bring a Nation back to its ordained purpose. A representation of Nations within a Nation, we believe in an outcome that will yield a bountiful harvest of souls through the power of forgiveness.
This is the first time in the history of America that the First Nations people will lead a National Day of Prayer for the healing of this Great Country. It’s time for us to take our rightful place in the Body of Christ and lead this Great Awakening!” All Tribes DC

NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN TRIBES FORGIVING U.S.A. FOR EVERY BROKEN TREATY  (a full report from Rick Joyner)

TODAY MAY GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT IN AMERICAN HISTORY. Very few may even know that anything special happened. Jesus even said that the kingdom came “without observation,” or unnoticed. Some of the greatest things happen that way, and only a very few who have their eyes open, and are looking in the right direction, see them. So what is happening today that is so special?

One Thousand North American Indian Tribes from the U.S. and Canada are sponsoring a special ceremony on the Mall in Washington to forgive the U.S. Government for all of its broken treaties. In Scripture, breaking a vow or treaty brings a curse on the land, and the U.S. Government broke every treaty it made with the Native American Tribes. Chief Negiel Bigpond, the primary coordinator for this event, told me that they were going to forgive the U.S. whether we asked for it or not, simply because they do not want our country to suffer the consequences of this any longer. This is one of the most noble acts of true Christian charity I have ever heard of by any people group.

Have we suffered because of the curse that comes when we break an agreement? We have suffered profoundly, and virtually every major crisis America is facing right now is a reflection of the crisis on that the Native Americans have endured on the reservations that were directly caused by the broken treaties. A couple of years ago Chief Bigpond shared about a ten minute address with a room full of high impact leaders and some world class thinkers, which he titled, “Welcome to the Reservation.” He connected all of the crises we had been discussing to what they faced on the reservations, and when he finished it shut down the meeting as no one else there wanted to speak after such a profound revelation, besides, we had possibly the most important answer to the crises.
This is very real. National injustices are a major issue we’re facing now whether we want to or not, and this is a big one. We will continue on the road to oblivion if we do not consequences of injustices that were sometimes done generations ago, but are still a festering, infected would that is poisoning the whole body.
I’ve known Negiel for many years, and I’ve never seen him ever display a victim mentality, or bitterness. I call him “the happiest Indian” and I think he may be. He’s a transcendent leader and thinker of such stature possibly because he does not waste his time on pettiness, and he so easily forgives. I once asked Chief Bigpond if he was offended by the Washington Redskins name, and his reply was, “Only when they play bad.” One thousand tribes are going to forgive us today simply because they don’t want us to suffer for wrongs done to them. Have you ever heard of anything so noble? How would our world change if we all started to think like that? ~ Rick Joyner

Policy or Personality?

28 09 2016

“If you want to make America great again, seek the One who made America great the first time.” (Pastor Ken Lawrence),

My brother is pastor of River of Life Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. His statement sums up the heart of Christians everywhere. Our future is bigger than the candidates in the election. Typical politics make it about personality when it is always really about policy. Folks who opposed the leftist policy agenda of President Obama were accused of racism. The same agenda now touted by Hillary draws accusations of sexism. My prayer is that America will wake up to the “wrong track” reality of that agenda.

Democrats will win and democracy will lose, if we are distracted from’ policy. I challenge every believer reading this to consider the stated goals of the party platforms. One is rooted in Biblical values and the other has moved far left. As a Christian Zionist, Israel policy is at the top of my list. On Israel, the Republican Platform is the most pro-Israel in history, while the Democratic Platform is the most anti-Israel in history. But that is only one issue. Consider this clear comparison from LIFE SITE News.      (Click here for enlarged PDF)

platform-1

platform-3

YES! Pray, pray, pray, but VOTE! It is your Christian duty in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave! Many have fought and died for our voting privilege. Don’t squander it.

The Holy Spirit gave me a verse in February that I first thought was “exposing” Trump. It speaks of pride, arrogance, evil and a perverse mouth. However, I now believe it exposed at a far more insidious evil revealed by the full-throated policy of the Democratic Party. If you are a believer, and you have seriously studied the above chart; can you really vote for their platform? Are you voting for the person or the policy?

The fear of Yehovah is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. Proverbs 8:13-17

Loving Death More than Life

14 09 2016

israel_holocaustMiddle East terrorists boast that they will win because they love death more than life. What a perverse demonic bondage! Pray for their deliverance from the death cult. (Here is another excerpt from my newest book: The Hebrew God Who Has No Name).

Israel’s enemies have no regard for life. Their objective is to completely destroy Israel; they have no concern for their safety, nor the protection of their people. They pursue death. They boast about loving death more than life!

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19

Yehovah even pleads that they choose life. Yet, they choose death. He gives them the liberty to choose. Yehovah’s longsuffering allows them space to repent. Such is the deep love of Yehovah; and such is the insanity of the enemies of Yehovah who choose death. Walk in the prophetic and choose life.

There are consequences to your choices. Yehovah has promised protection and salvation to those who love Him. Notice that Yehovah does not promise the protection and salvation to all He loves, but only to those who love Him. Some of His promises are conditional on our response. You demonstrate your love for Him by choosing life and keeping His commandments. His love never fails. He loves the worst sinner, and He grieves when they refuse to repent and end up in Hell. Yet, there is a reason for hope. Repent, (which means: “turn around”), Choose life.

Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:31-32

Wow! This reveals the truth of God’s character. He has no pleasure in death! Yehovah is the God of grace and mercy, the faithful God of love. What a contrast to the god of war and death that is breaking out of the Middle East and threatening the entire world.

Yet, we know that life will win over death, no matter the boasts of the deceived. Jesus is the resurrection and the Life. All who turn from their wickedness will find life abundantly.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

The Hebrew God Who Has No Name

30 08 2016

Hebrew God cover photoMy brand new book has arrived! Please consider ordering it online by clicking on the picture. It is time that we learn to use God’s name, which is Yehovah. Here is a brief synopsis from the Introduction:

“My title comes from the classic movie, The Ten Commandments, starring Charlton Heston as Moses and Yul Brynner as Pharaoh. The Pharaoh, who worships many gods, mocks Moses as bringing “the Hebrew God who has no name.” However, the opposite is true. Moses was sent to declare the personal name of God, as clearly seen here in Exodus at the burning bush:

God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘Yehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.” Exodus 3:15: ESV

Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know? Proverbs 30:4

The ultimate intent of Yehovah God is not to be the “Hebrew God who has no name”. However, in the current status quo, the Name of the Creator God of Scripture is missing. The good news? God intends to restore His Holy Name, especially in the context of the rise of Islam’s pagan deity. This book reveals and restores the Name of Yehovah God and gives the people who are called by His Name, His identity. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob wants the world to know Him by His Name.

Today, our planet is as lost and enslaved as the Hebrews in Egypt; and we see Yehovah God again revealing, restoring and declaring His Name. Please follow along this journey of rediscovery as we find not only the truth of His name, but the purpose of using His name in the 21st Century.” The Hebrew God Who Has No Name

Thank you for your prayers for this project, that it will be used to open the eyes of the people of Yehovah God, both Jews and Christians, to a new intimacy with Abba God our Father in Heaven, who indeed has a name used over 6,800 times in the Hebrew text of Scripture. It is mistranslated as LORD, but now is the time with the rise of Islam’s counterfeit god that we use the covenant Name once again, Yehovah!

Vote for Us, We Killed More Israelis

10 08 2016

abbasHamas? No. Hezbollah? No again. ISIS? Not even close. This campaign slogan comes from our friends at the Palestinian Authority. These are the same Palestinians to which Israel is expected to give half of their land. You can’t make this stuff up. The PA is in an election fight to keep their control with the rise of Hamas in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria for you Bible students).

Why Palestinians are on the verge of civil war

The two-state solution, a long-held US-backed plan for a rosy Mideast future, is threatened by Mr. Yesterday — someone hopelessly clinging to the past.

That Mr. Yesterday isn’t Donald Trump, whose aides deleted the words “two-state solution” from the Republican platform. And it isn’t Hillary Clinton, whose would-be veep, Tim Kaine, last year boycotted the Israeli prime minister’s speech to Congress. Hillary and Kaine cherish the two-state solution dearly.

It isn’t Bernie Sanders, whose supporters hoisted a Palestinian flag on the convention floor Monday in lieu of Old Glory. Or Rep. Hank Johnson, (D-Ga.), who this week called Israeli settlers “termites.”

Nor is it the usual suspect, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu.

Nah. Mr. Yesterday, the man who dreads two states more than anyone in America, Europe or Israel, is none other than the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.

Wait, there’s more! A post appearing on the official Facebook page of Abbas’ Fatah faction listed its most cherished achievements, chief among them its claim to have killed 11,000 Israelis. — In other words, it would appear that the number of Israelis a group has killed is directly tied to its ability to win Palestinian elections. And Israel is supposed to make peace with these people. Israel Today

Congressman: Jewish Settlers Are Like Termites Rep. Hank Johnson (D., Ga.) launched into a tirade against Israel and its policies toward the Palestinians, comparing Jewish people who live in disputed territories to “termites” that destroy homes.

I am not making this up. There are very dangerous anti-Israel people out there who believe Israel should be destroyed. Remember the importance of the 83rd Psalm.

Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: Psalm 83:1-5

Notice that the enemies are against God Himself. They only attack His chosen nation because they can’t reach up to Heaven and attack Yehovah God. Do not be mis-lead, don’t buy the propaganda. Listen to the Holy Spirit of truth and the revelation of Scripture.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Israel Exists = God Exists

1 06 2016

536748_385193128190099_100000982451242_1074228_1062423626_nIsrael is profound proof of the existence of Yehovah, the God of the Bible. A Messianic ministry in Israel is producing a series of videos calling Israeli Jews back to their roots in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please enjoy the video. (Click here if it doesn’t load).

The rebirth of Israel as a nation-state, in such perfect correspondence with prophecies thousands of years old, is the most tangible evidence that God is real, and that He is faithful to His word. The above video is part of a much larger series produced by the Messianic ministry One For Israel on their Internet portal iGod.co.il (Hebrew only). The aim of these videos is to cause fellow Israeli Jews, so many of whom have turned their backs on God in their frustration with today’s religious authorities, to reëxamine the evidence before them. Israel Today 5-30-16

“For you are a holy people to Yehovah your God; Yehovah your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. Yehovah did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because Yehovah loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, Yehovah has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Therefore know that Yehovah your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; Deuteronomy 7:6-9

(I have taken the liberty to change the word “LORD” to Yehovah. Every single time you see LORD or GOD in all capital letters in the Old Testament, the actual Hebrew word is Yehovah. This name occurs 6,828 times in the Hebrew text, yet remains untranslated in most Bibles. His name, obscured for 2,500 years, is now being revealed. It is TIME to restore the name of Yehovah! Light Flash at Human Conception

13 05 2016

Eggs flash as they meet sperm enzyme, capturing the moment that life begins CREDIT: NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY

Bright flash of light marks incredible moment life begins when sperm meets egg

Human life begins in bright flash of light as a sperm meets an egg, scientists have shown for the first time, after capturing the astonishing ‘fireworks’ on film.

An explosion of tiny sparks erupts from the egg at the exact moment of conception. Scientists had seen the phenomenon occur in other animals but it is the first time is has been also shown to happen in humans.

Not only is it an incredible spectacle, highlighting the very moment that a new life begins, the size of the flash can be used to determine the quality of the fertilized egg.

What a wonderful story about the moment life bursts into existence at conception. This is a good news story to brighten you day. Northern Idaho is the location for my current ministry trip. Just seeing the incredible beauty all around with the mountains and lakes and fir trees gives me sweet refreshing. It is ministry to my spirit. Be sure to click on the link above for the full article. There is a 35 second video also on the site.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:14

London Buses: Glory to Pagan god

10 05 2016

busAs I leave for an Idaho ministry trip, thought you might find this interesting. London has elected its first Muslim Mayor and critics are calling it Londonstan. Some areas of the city are over 50% Muslim.

Separate from this, but coincidental is a new ad campaign on London buses that say: Glory to A-lh, using the name of the god of Islam, as you can see in the above photo. It is happening faster than you think!

All this while the U.S. is arguing over who can use the ladies restrooms and showers. Maybe there should be a course in our schools about the rise and fall of Rome. We are on the same path. God bless Governor McCrory.

Yet, all is not lost. Jesus is still on the throne. Millions are still coming to the Messiah, including Muslims. Praise the Lord! Keep faithful to Yehovah God and His Son, Yeshua ben Yehovah.

Please pray for me for this Idaho ministry, speaking 6 or 7 times. Greetings to my Idaho family!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

PROCRASTINATOR’S GUIDE TO FINALLY DOING YOUR TAXES

16 04 2016

AndreaI have told many of you that my daughter is a better writer than me. Today for your Saturday viewing pleasure is a link to a fun post from my youngest daughter, Andrea. You may appreciate her humor here, but read a couple more of her blogs to sample a variety of topics. Her blog is called: Just is a four letter word. Enjoy!

PROCRASTINATOR’S GUIDE TO FINALLY DOING YOUR TAXES (click to read)

Children are a gift from Yehovah; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates. Psalm 12:3-5 NLT

The Cheeky Candidate

28 03 2016

GWToday we have a “words are fun” segment. I was trying to think of a word to describe a certain candidate for President. I will not mention his name. See if you can guess. One word jumped out, so I looked up the meaning and found it became a thread connecting two other words that also seemed to capture the spirit of this candidate.

CHEEKY:  rude and showing a lack of respect

  1. insolently bold: impudent

IMPUDENT: failing to show proper respect and courtesy: very rude

  1. lacking modesty
  2. marked by contemptuous or cocky boldness or disregard of others: insolent

INSOLENT: rude or impolite: having or showing a lack of respect for other people

  1. insultingly contemptuous in speech or conduct: overbearing
  2. exhibiting boldness or effrontery

(This string of definitions are from Merriam-Webster).

Many Christians are being deceived by this candidate whom they celebrate for his “cheeky” words. In fact he is praised for “punching back” when he is offended. I simply ask you this. Is that the Christian, or even civil way to communicate with one another? Both the Old and New Testaments agree on a better way.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1

Jesus said: You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. Matthew 5:38-39

(Disclaimer: I am not a pacifist. There are righteous reasons to go to war. This is about simple public discourse and behavior of one seeking the nation’s highest office.)

Voting Guide for Believers

7 03 2016

voteI am not impressed so far with the so-called evangelical voters. They are all over the map and quite confused. What is the source of their decisions in this primary season? How about you? It is decision time in many states with early voting (as my state of North Carolina). I have prayed earnestly for wisdom from above.

An Election Self-test for Bible Believers.

  1. Do you pray before you vote? Or: Separation of church and voting booth? Invite Jesus into your voting booth. Really. Ask God for whom you should vote.
  2. Are you motivated by the flesh or the Holy Spirit? Look at the occasion of Jesus rejected by the Samaritans: And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Luke 9:54-56
  3. What is in your heart? The question is not like the commercial: “What is in your wallet?” But, what is in your heart?
  4. Are you voting for David or Saul? When Saul was King, man was King. When David was King, God was King. He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.” Acts 13:22
  5. What would Jesus do? WWJD Jesus is the servant king (like David). Does your candidate have a servant’s heart?
  6. Beware the leaven of the Pharisees and of Herod This is a longer teaching, so let me summarize. Pharisees had a religious spirit which was self-righteousness. Herod had a political spirit which was self-interest. Both are very bad, don’t go there with your vote.
  7. Are you for justice or mercy? Be careful how you answer. There is a great clamoring for justice today. Do you understand what our nation justly deserves: immorality, corruption, blasphemy, killing our own babies? Put it this way: Do you want God to give you exactly what you deserve? Or do you choose mercy and grace? Pray for mercy and vote accordingly. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:6-7

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29:2

When someone tells me they saw a good movie, I ask them: “Do you mean good, in the sense of Godly?” So if you tell me you have a good candidate, I simply ask: “Do you mean good, in the sense of Godly? Pray for wisdom from above!

VOTE GOD’S HEART!
