My Hero, Nikki Haley

United Nations

This week is the UN General Assembly. You may like this video warning about the UN’s bias against Israel. It was recorded by a young Israeli from a so-called “settlement” in the West Bank, known as Judea and Samaria in the Bible. Pray for God’s purpose of restoration for Israel.

President Trump met with PM Netanyahu today (Monday) and will speak to the General Assembly tomorrow morning. Netanyahu will speak tomorrow afternoon. Pray that they will be on the same page and speak what Yehovah God wants them to say.

This is a very prophetically pregnant week with the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh haShana beginning Wednesday night/Thursday.  This is the first of the Fall feasts, followed by Yom Kippur and Tabernacles. Thursday also happens to be the United Nations Day of Peace and Safety. I am not making this up.

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? ​​The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yehovah and against His Anointed, saying, ​​“Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” ​​He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. ​​Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: ​​“Yet I have set My King ​​On My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:1-6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

God “UN”impressed

21589614652_1627b0ba54This is the time of year when the United Nations gathers in New York to pontificate about one world government and tries to placate all the demands of 57 Islamic countries and their confederates. This year we even heard the Pontiff add to the voices. So what does Yehovah God think about the UN? Personally, and also Biblically, I am convinced that God is “UN”impressed. Consider His word given here:

Yehovah brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; ​​He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. ​The counsel of Yehovah stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. ​​Blessed is the nation whose God is Yehovah, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Yehovah looks from heaven; ​​He sees all the sons of men. ​​From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; ​​He fashions their hearts individually; ​​He considers all their works.

​​No king is saved by the multitude of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. ​​A horse is a vain hope for safety; neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. ​​Behold, the eye of Yehovah is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

​​​Our soul waits for Yehovah; ​​He is our help and our shield. ​​For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. ​Let Your mercy, O Yehovah, be upon us, just as we hope in You. Psalm 33:10-22

Dis-Honor Killings

GAza-Women-300x199“Honor Killings and honor violence” are the dirty secret of the Muslim world. I can’t think of a more hypocritical concept. Your daughter is raped, so you kill her to save your family’s honor? Really?!! This is not an isolated problem. Consider the following statistics from the United Nations on The Kelly File, Fox News March 31, 2012. (Click on the date to view the 10 minute video clip from her show last night.)

  • 125 million women and girls suffered female genital mutilation in Africa and Middle East since 1989
  • Over 60 million girls worldwide are child brides, married before age 18

Narrow down the field to the Palestinian Territories and consider the multiplied millions of Western dollars propping up Mahmoud Abbas and his demand for a state. Especially notice the headline of the following article:

Palestinian Honor Killings Skyrocket, Israel Blamed: Two teenage Palestinian girls were killed in separate incidents last month in so-called “honour killings”, revenge attacks carried out most often by family members against women suspected of “immoral sexual conduct”.
The deaths sparked protests with more than 100 people assembling outside the general attorney’s office in Gaza on March 3, demanding violence against Palestinian women come to a halt. Five women died in honour killings in the Palestinian territories in 2011. That number rose to 13 in 2012 and doubled to 26 last year. (Eight killed in first three months of 2014 would project to 32 this year.)

…A survey by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics from 2011 showed that 35 percent of married women in Gaza had been exposed to physical violence by their husband within the past year, and that 40 percent of unmarried women had been physically abused by a household member.(Click here for full article.)

Wake up, folks! It matters what you believe. The Bible is the foundation of the Judeo/Christian culture of life. Islam is the religion of the sword, a culture of death. Violence is the solution in such a culture. Just Google this phrase and you will see countless reports of Muslims saying these very words: “We love death more than you love life.”

All I am saying is summed up perfectly in this Bible quote from the God of Israel:

​“Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways. ​​Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. ​​Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates,​​ waiting at the posts of my doors. ​​For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from Yehovah; ​​But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:32-36
