9th of Av – Facing Failure

Today is the 9th of Av on the Jewish calendar, a date of terrible tragedies many times in Jewish history. What are we to learn from this reality. Here are just some of the events that happened on that date: The 10 spies returned with the evil report. The first AND second temples were destroyed. All Jews were expelled from England in 1290, and from Spain in 1492. God used the Spain timing as impetus for exploring the new world of America. Many other examples could be listed.

Today we stand with our Jewish and Israeli brothers and sisters mourning these events. We also pray for protection for Israel especially at this time. Their enemy is our enemy because we worship the same God of the Bible, Yehovah, and His Messiah. It is Satan himself who opposes Israel with the “ancient hatred.” In our day there are new enemies of Israel and Christians. Thousands of Christians are being martyred, increasing each year, simply because of their faith. In Nigeria, Sudan, North Korea, China, and other places it is getting worse. Yet, at the same time millions are coming to Messiah Yeshua all over the world. Jesus said the end days would be like the days of Noah, and we are seeing it with our own eyes.

So, what can we learn from the 9th of Av? For Jews, it is a time of fasting, repentance, and denial of normal pleasures. Zionist Christians should relate to the mourning and repentance also. But I see an additional message in the tragedies. We should each face our own failures. The destruction of both temples was related to judgement of God. He allowed the Babylonians to destroy Solomon’s temple because God’s people turned to idolatry, pagan worship, and even the sacrifice of babies on the Temple Mount. Today we abort babies by the millions simply for our “quality of life!” The 9th of Av is a call for all humanity to repent! The prophets emphasized again and again that God seeks not only outward fasting, but repentance, justice and faithfulness. Why does God not consume us in our sins? It is because of His promise and His character. He keeps His word!

“For I am Yehovah, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Malachi 3:6

If God You would do well to read all of Malachi 3 because there is a profound point in this verse. God does not change. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 The Father and the Son are unchangeable! Why is this so profound? The answer is found in Israel. They often rebelled and sinned before God, yet they exist and are prospering and being restored as a nation. We can all relate personally. We have sinned against Him, and yet He forgives us. Israel was chosen by Yehovah to reveal Himself to the world. Amazingly, He gave them an unconditional promise of permanent existence before Him.

“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Genesis 17:7-8

Notice this is an everlasting covenant and an everlasting possession of the land. This applies even though they sinned and rebelled over and over throughout history. He preserved them not because they were good, but because He is God, and He does not change! If God broke His promises to Israel, He could likewise break His promises to Christians. Our confidence and faith is not in our own goodness, but in His faithfulness. He does not change! In the end He saves us because of His own character; He keeps His promise. We are included by simply choosing to walk with Him! He paid for our sins by the blood of the Lamb.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Pray not only that God would bless, but that His people would follow Him. (The good news is that there is a real move in Israel to rediscover relationship with God in the midst of this war. Hallelujah!)

I Sometimes Disagree with Israel

As a loyal and committed Christian Zionist I don’t always agree with Israel’s actions and policies. My faithfulness is to the Biblical promises that issue from the immutable character of Yehovah God. By the way, He often disagreed with Israel’s choices, so I am in good company. Standing with Israel does not include blind submission but rather the responsibility to be a prophetic voice declaring the purpose of God.

At the end of the Holocaust it was clearly difficult to see God’s hand, but three years later was the miraculous rebirth of the ancient nation in their own land! God turned the page from the terrible judgement after the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD. For the last 78 years God has moved from judgement to restoration. The enemy has not stopped trying to eliminate God’s chosen, but Satan is on the run. (Click HERE for 100 verses about Israel’s restoration.)

Having said that, my concern is for America. We are at another crossroads moment regarding Israel and the Jews. With anti-Semitism exploding even among conservative Republicans. I have no doubt that Israel will prosper, but U.S. peace and safety is tied to our stand with Israel as it has been for 250 years. If we move away from that relationship we will fall. It is not because Israel is good, but because God is good.

I have a similar view of President Trump. Of course no one should follow him blindly, but he has turned our country around. Moving our Embassy to Jerusalem was a prophetic act. Right now he needs our prayers more than ever. Satan has laid a trap for him with Iran. He must not lose sight of His God given calling fit into God’s plan for Israel. God will bless and restore Israel with or without Donald Trump, but our own nation hangs in the balance. I believe God raised him up “for such a time as this,” but it requires obedience to Heaven’s purpose. It cannot be all about him.

It is encouraging to see him beginning to pull back from the fake peace with the Islamic Republic of Iran. This week’s visit to NATO may be a turning point. I believe he sincerely wants a negotiated peace, but it is impossible to find agreement with terrorists and the world terror sponsor. Remember to view geopolitics from Heaven’s point of view. Remember what God said to Jeremiah.

“I will set My throne in Elam (Iran), and will destroy from there the king and the princes, says Yehovah. But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam, says Yehovah.” Jeremiah 49:38-39

Notice this prophecy happens in the latter days. The most accurate translation literally reads “the last days.” I totally believe regime change is God’s plan for the people of Iran. They will be delivered from the evil Islamists. Please review my explanation of Jeremiah 49. Trump’s Iran Timeline.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for Iran’s deliverance from the Islamic occupation.

God’s Promises, Personal or National?

Freedom over tyranny is the foundation of America’s Independence Day celebration. Our revolution and France’s are day and night apart in principle. We fought tyranny and established Bible based liberty, but the French launched anarchy. We still enjoy the wonderful “land of the free” although there are storm clouds of anarchy around us. Believers find great solace in the promises of God for our personal lives, but what about national promises? This week as I meditate on freedom, let me share a text from Biblical King Asa. He was a godly king who tore down idols and called on Yehovah. Here he appeals for God’s help when facing a hopeless battle against a major Ethiopian invasion. This led to a national victory.

“Then Asa called to Yehovah his God and said, “Yehovah , there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; help us, Yehovah our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. Yehovah , You are our God; do not let man prevail against You.” 2 Chronicles 14:11 NASB20

King Asa humbled himself and turned to God because he recognized that God’s character was to help the helpless. Asa had no other hope and he trusted God. He also saw that the invaders were actually opposing God Himself! When a nation honors Yehovah God, He takes an enemy attack as an attack on Himself, and His purpose for His nation. His protection and help apply to any nation that follows His will. A prophet came to the King and gave a profound revelation with a binding promise.

“Now the Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded, and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: Yehovah is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you. For many days Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without the Law. But in their distress they turned to Yehovah God of Israel, and they sought Him, and He let them find Him.” 2 Chronicles 15:1-4 NASB20

He is with you when you are with Him.
Seek Him and you will find Him.
Abandon Him and He will abandon you.
In distress, turn to Yehovah God of Israel.
They sought Him and He let them find Him.

From this it is clear that finding God is connected to seeking Him. If you do that, He will let you find Him! This is so true on a personal level, but it also applies to nations. For generations, the so-called Western nations have been blessed because they based their nations on God. This was especially true of the United States. We know they refused the taxation of England, but more fundamentally they sought religious freedom to worship Yehovah. Nations are not blessed according to race, any race is blessed when they find God. This is seen in the restoration of Israel because of God’s eternal covenant with His chosen people. The principle of “Seek Him and He will LET you find Him,” applies to any nation or people who seek God.

Therefore we must continually seek Yehovah and Messiah Yeshua for our salvation and peace. “What joy for the nation whose God is Yehovah whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.” Psalm 33:12 NLT

Peace Deal or Not, Only God is God

This is my view. President Trump is not God. Only God is God; and I am speaking of Yehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Allah is not God, but only a pagan desert god that was elevated by Mohammed. I have been a faithful supporter of President Trump’s policy and his extraordinary support of Israel. I believe God raised him up “for such a time as this” as a Cyrus. However, this new Iran deal is the opposite of his record. Maybe it is a head fake with a trap for Iran, but it does not look good. Trump has been sounding more and more like Nebuchadnezzar:

“The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty? While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!” Daniel 4:30-31

President Trump is treading on dangerous ground. My prayer continues that he will “hear from God, and have courage to do the right thing, in the right timing.” Our president can do nothing without God.

Notice the picture today. There has been no regime change. This is the same Islamist jihadi ideology for 47 years. The picture leaves out one other high Iranian regime official, Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He assumed his role on August 21, 2024. All of those pictured are first level. Only the Ayatollah’s son is second level and he has not been seen since the war started in February. President Trump is wrong when he says he is dealing with a third regime. These are exact same leaders from before the war started. These first level leaders were also there before the war: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi – Esmail Qaani: Commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force – Esmail Baghaei: Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Ahmad Vahidi: Commander-in-Chief of IRGC (since March 1). They are all top level, regime has not changed!

President Trump looked good when he was doing what the Holy Spirit led. But, when he veers away from Yehovah’s plan, he is exposed as only a man. I like this saying: ” When you and the Holy Spirit arrive at the same place at the same time, it makes you look good.” You better not make the mistake of thinking it is you or your brilliance that accomplished anything.

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.” Proverbs 16:18-19

Remember Jesus own words, even though He was the Messiah Yeshua, He gave all the glory to the Father God. All the miracles and supernatural works that He did were not in his human ability, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. If it was true for Jesus, it is much more the fact with President Trump, and for you and me.

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. … “I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:19-20 and John 5:30.

By the way, I am sticking to the prophecy of Jeremiah 49:34-39. I have been writing about this prophecy since February 19th before the war and in several articles since then. I don’t know how we get there, but I trust God’s word more than any man. As long as President Trump stands with Israel he and our nation will be blessed. But, if he turns against Israel, then woe to our land. Pray for President Trump! And pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

What’s Up with Pres. Trump?

People all over the political spectrum are freaking out about Iran delays. Anti-war folks are upset. Free Iran folks are upset. Even the middle ground is shaking. Believers are facing a strong temptation to give up on President Trump. That is a mistake. Of course, we should never fully trust any man. “Trust but verify” applies to leaders as well as treaties. Only God is perfectly faithful and true, but He still uses men.

“Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yehovah his God,” Psalm 146:3-5

“Now I know that Yehovah saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of Yehovah our God.” Psalm 20:6-7

So, we trust God that He has raised up this president for “such a time as this” to carry out God’s plan. Trump is a man and will not always get it right. But the overall trajectory is in the hand of Yehovah God. He is able to give us course corrections in the middle of battle. I find this true in my own life! That’s why I pray for our president to “hear from God, have courage, and do the right thing in God’s timing.” Remember the complete change in wicked King Nebuchadnezzar at the end of his life.

They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.” Daniel 4:25, 35-37

Don’t panic and become a “sky is falling” panican. Calm down and rest in God. He has already told us His plan in Jeremiah 49:34-39. Don’t put your trust in man, especially the propaganda news. Stick with Scripture, the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and Yeshua, the Prince of Peace and our Messiah!

National Sabbath and Rededication

Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving – This weekend our nation declares our heritage of one nation under God. President Trump has proclaimed a national Sabbath remembrance from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Our entire country is called to prayer for our land. This is followed by a call for Americans to gather on the National Mall in DC for a day of prayer and rededication of our national motto: “In God We Trust.” One lady from our Wake Forest Issachar Forum is representing our group on Sunday. We should all align ourselves with this holy purpose. Wherever you are this weekend set aside a time to join millions of Americans rededicating this God ordained republic to His Almighty providential care.

Today is Jerusalem Day in Israel, celebrating the reunification of Jerusalem 59 years ago in 1967. Also, this weekend is the 78th anniversary of the supernatural rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948. These celebrations are in the context of war with Iran and President Trump’s meeting with President Xi in China. Of course, Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon are also coming to a decisive point. All of these events fit precisely into the prophetic blueprint of Ezekiel 38. I have previously detailed the seven peace references in that chapter. All of these global events are coming together for a time of peace before the Gog and Magog war. Even China is at place of needing peace for a season before they resume their global conquest goals. Our nation has been blessed because we were founded on the Bible and a Judeo/Christian foundation. We bless Israel and therefore we are blessed. Yehovah God has a plan of favor for Israel and we are part of it!

“For thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord Yehovah. “I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.” Ezekiel 34:11-16

Four day pride festival to be held at Dead Sea, largest in history of Middle East – “Pride Land is not just another festival,” said the main producer and initiator of the festival, Aaron Cohen, “it’s the biggest thing we’ve done here.” Alongside the nightlife, Pride Land will have cultural and art complexes, relaxation and scenic areas, and family-friendly areas with children’s activities, family-friendly workshops, and customized events.

So even now the enemy of our holy God is trying to sabotage God’s blessings on Israel. We need to be in much prayer that it will fail. One of the elements of the Oct. 7 massacre was the Nova festival featuring a huge image of a false god. The battle is not flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness in high places, or in this case the lowest point on earth, adjacent to the Biblical judgement of Sodom and Gomorrah. A LGBTQ pride festival celebrating immoral perversion is scheduled there for June 1-4.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Pray against the enemy. Stand with Israel and pray for both of our nations to return to the God of our fathers!

Mark Twain in the Bible?

How does the most authenticated book in history keep revealing present day history with such accuracy? Most of my life I have been fascinated by the amazing prophesies fulfilled, especially the restoration of Israel. I love Psalm 102, the Holocaust Psalm, and Ezekiel 36, which tells of God’s unconditional promise to the land of Israel. But is it possible that Mark Twain fulfilled a prophecy? His book, Innocents Abroad, detailed his experiences visiting the Holy Land in 1867. He was “the foreigner!”

“so that the coming generation of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, would say, when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which Yehovah has laid on it: ‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yehovah overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’” Deuteronomy 29:22-23

Mark Twain is that “foreigner” from a far land. His role was to document the devastation and utter destruction of Israel. This was because of the 400 years of rule by the Muslim Ottoman Empire based in Turkey. They intentionally destroyed the land even to the extreme of taxing every tree, causing most of the trees to be cut down to save on taxes. But when you visit Israel today it is once again a land flowing with milk and honey. This restoration means so much more when compared to the desert conditions 160 years ago. God is faithful.

“All nations would say, ‘Why has Yehovah done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’ Then people would say: ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yehovah God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt; for they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they did not know and that He had not given to them.” Deuteronomy 29:24-26

“You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?” Romans 11:19-24

But the good news is that after nearly 2,000 years of scattering among the nations, Israel is back! And the reason is to prove that God keeps His word. None of us deserve is mercy and forgiveness, but He loves Israel and He loves us so much that He offers total forgiveness and restoration. Israel is the proof of His mercy and lovingkindness.

“The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, Yehovah, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, Yehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.” Ezekiel 36:34-36

God is Faithful! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Save Nigerian Christians

Seriously though, we need to pray for Nigerian believers who are experiencing a true genocide from Muslim terrorists. At this very time Israel has seized 20 ships and boats from a “Gaza flotilla” led by Greta Thunberg. Where is her outcry for the truly oppressed Nigerians?

Over 50,000 Christians killed in Nigeria by Islamist extremists – According to the report “Martyred Christians in Nigeria” issued by Intersociety, over the past 14 years at least 52,250 Nigerian Christians have been brutally murdered at the hands of Islamist militants.

Meanwhile, the massacres in Nigeria do not stop. We must pray for the Christians of that country and other persecuted followers of Jesus around the world. There is a saying in Israel regarding the Muslim jihadi terrorists. “First the Saturday people, and then the Sunday people”. This is tragically true. Jews and Christians are forever linked by our common belief in Yehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The faith of Abraham in the promise of the Messiah is shared by believing Christians. The difference about who that Messiah actually is will be resolved by God Himself. Our common Judeo/Christian heritage locks us together in the defense of the Almighty Creator God who is the one and only true God. Our allegiance to Yehovah and His Messiah places a target on our backs. The battle is ultimately a spiritual battle between God and Satan, good and evil as declared in Ephesians 6. My view of the union of Jews and Christians is expressed quite clearly by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 2 in the Hebrew Names Version.

“Therefore remember that once you, the Goyim in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision,” (in the flesh, made by hands); that you were at that time separate from Messiah, alienated from the commonwealth of Yisra’el, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah Yeshua you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Messiah. Modern Israel: Fraud or Miracle?

Is the restoration of Israel a fraud, or is it a miracle between Israel and God? Bible prophets are consistent in predicting an end time revival of the nation of Israel. Today, Biblically illiterate podcasters mock the promises of God regarding Israel. Ezekiel was quite clear explaining that this miracle would happen following the severe judgement of God on Israel for their sin.

“Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity. Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it. So I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds.” Ezekiel 36:17-19

This chapter of Ezekiel is the foundation of my book: Speak to the Dirt! First, you must take his prophecy literally. Second, notice that Israel was dispersed throughout the countries. This eliminates all previous exiles of Israel. This 1,800 year “diaspora” is the only one to all the countries. Third, their resurrection as a nation depends on the faithfulness of Yehovah God. Because He revealed His plan to many Biblical prophets, the very integrity of His own word is at stake. If He does not restore Israel, God Himself is a fraud. The faithful nature of God is on the line.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

“…in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began…” Titus 1:2

“Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” Hebrews 6:17-18

“Israel is a nation that defies all logic, and that drives the nations mad. When people cannot understand strength, they look for excuses: it must be fraud. There must be some dark trick that gives the Jews this kind of power. Jews control this, Jews control that. Antisemitism. Heaven forbid—this cannot be real, Israel must be cheating! Because if Israel is real, if this ancient and hated people is still alive, then perhaps God is not a myth after all. Perhaps evil does not get the final word. Perhaps the people of Israel are not just a people, but a testimony. So they deny Israel. They slander Israel. They fight Israel in anger. So, we are left with two options. Either God Himself is a fraud and a liar, or He faithful to fulfill His promises to restore Israel. Personally, I am going to stick with the Bible as the word of God.

Iran: 3 Scenarios, 1 Truth

Confusion, disinformation, and false hope are dominating the news this week. The various scenarios being floated are flawed. The Tupperware classic baby puzzle illustrates my point. Each piece only fits in one hole. Similarly, the Iran puzzle only has one solution. Here are three wrong scenarios and the true answer.

Iran wins and we evacuate our troops from the Middle East in defeat.
We stop now, halfway to victory, and the wounded jihadist regime lives to fight another day.
The ceasefire fails and we finish the job, destroying the regime completely with a new constitutional democracy.

Which of these options compare to the truth? No one wants the Islamic Republic to win. Some are willing to settle for a partial peace just to end the fighting, which is a false hope. It would only lead to an inevitable future conflict. The third option is the only one that can be found in Bible prophecy. I choose to rely on the Word of God over human plans.

“I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says Yehovah; ‘And I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them. I will set My throne in Elam (Iran), And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says Yehovah.” Jeremiah 49:37-38

This prophecy clearly declares the enemy will be consumed and the king (Ayatollah) and his princes (IRGC) will be destroyed. Check out my previous explanation: Trump’s Iran Timeline. We need to pray that President Trump will not lean on pride to claim a premature victory. I trust the word of God. I still pray that he will hear from God, and have courage to do the right thing. I believe he will. The people of Iran are longing for freedom from the 47 year jihadist oppression. We cannot abandon them when we are this close to their victory.

The Invisible Solution – I am amazed that the media is oblivious to the real missing link, the final piece of the puzzle. Crown Prince Pahlavi, the son of the deposed Shah (king) of Iran from 1979 has been working behind the scene for years. He has assembled an honest cross-section of Iranians both inside and outside of Iran prepared to lead the transitional government after the end of the terror regime. When the time is right, tens of millions of the Iranian people will come out of their homes and rise up and support the Crown Prince. I am convinced that this is the final scenario and I pray for patience for the leaders and the people. This is not the time to settle for half measures. PRAY!

They Attacked. We Won. Let’s Eat!

My title today is the tongue-in-cheek history of the Jewish people. The DNA of Israel contains a deep and sometimes hidden awareness of God’s Hand on them. History has proven that against all odds they still exist as a people and a nation. Only God could have preserved them through all the mighty empires and individual haters who tried to utterly destroy them. Yet, they are here. And they are winning. Because God is with them.

“Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” Psalm 83:1-4

The Psalm continues with an appeal to God that He deal with Israel’s enemies as He did with the Midianites in Gideon’s day. They fought and killed each other by God’s intervention. We see the same today. If Iran could have managed to get the Arabs on their side, they could have defeated Israel. But, instead, they split up and now the Arabs are fighting WITH Israel! Wow, only God!

Present Times Prophecy

End times prophecy is different than present times prophecy. Some scholars are trying to figure out all the beasts, and trumpets, and earthquakes, and wars, and timing of future events. That may be an appropriate lane for them, but I love finding prophetic promises that are being fulfilled in the present time. For some time now I have been excited to discover what I call “This is that!” moments.

It is when we discover a prophecy from thousands of years ago being fulfilled in our day. On the day of Pentecost, Peter saw the outpouring of God’s Spirit and recognized it was the exact fulfillment of the prophet Joel’s prophecy in Joel 2:28-32. Peter then quoted five verses from Joel as proof that what was happening came from God.

“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel.” Joel 2:14-16

We see the same today. Peter did not prophesy, he recognized the ancient prophecy. We are capable of the same. I have shared several of these exciting moments of history. Psalm 102 describes the Holocaust and then declares that it signaled the restoration of Israel which happened in the same time frame of 1940-1948. Psalm 83 describes Arab nations attacking Israel and losing, which occurred in the first 50 years of modern Israel. In Luke 21:24 Jesus prophesied the downfall and restoration of Jerusalem which happened in 70AD and 1967, respectively. Amos saw three wars from Gaza and a fourth which would be their end in Amos 1:6-7. which specifically relates to the Gaza/Hamas War. Lately, we recognize Jeremiah 49:34-39 being precisely fulfilled in the current Iran war today! Yehovah God has a purpose for prophecy. It is not to confuse us or cause fear, but to bring comfort, knowing that He is directly involved.

“Prophecy was not delivered to academic elites. It was given to shepherds, farmers, merchants, elders, young converts, and small congregations navigating real-world pressures. It was never meant to intimidate believers. It was meant to steady them. God does not reveal the future to confuse His people. Throughout Scripture, prophecy functions as preparation, warning, and comfort. When God speaks about what is coming, He does so because He wants His people to be ready, not rattled. Amos wrote, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). Jesus told His disciples, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matthew 24:25). Later He added, “These things I have told you before they come, that when they do come to pass, you may believe” (John 14:29). Prophecy strengthens faith by removing surprise. When events unfold exactly as spoken, belief is reinforced rather than shaken. Isaiah records the Lord declaring, “I am God… declaring the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:9-10). The future is not unfolding randomly. It is unfolding according to divine decree.” Christian News Watch

Fear not! God has everything under control according to His Divine purpose. Jesus promised He would never leave us or forsake us. Hang in there. Be encouraged when you see God performing His word. He has a plan and He will complete it according to His eternal word. Trust God! Biblical events are happening!

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28

God’s Throne in Iran

What is God doing in Iran? The war news is full of bombs and explosions that make for must-watch TV. But this is not your typical war. As I have explained the last few weeks, this is a major historical turning point when viewed through Jeremiah 49. Today I want to zoom in on God’s purpose in verse 38. So far, the extremely low number of casualties is nothing short of miraculous. Americans are understandably concerned, but I believe this is a short war that will see amazing success.

“I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says Yehovah.” Jeremiah 49:38

For several years now we have seen reports of three million or more Iranians turning from Islam to Jesus. Iran has the fastest growing church in the world, in spite of meeting underground. This verse predicted the destruction of the king (ayatollah) and his princes (IRGC). We have already seen the “king” destroyed and the IRGC is being destroyed day by day. (By the way, IRGC is “Islamic” Revolutionary Guard Corp, not “Iranian.”)

The great promise of Yehovah God through Jeremiah is to establish His throne in Iran (Elam). Of course, He is not moving His physical throne from Jerusalem, but He is being enthroned in the hearts of Iranians as each person chooses the God of Israel. This will also necessarily lead to a great relationship between Iran and Israel. Also, most Arab nations will join the Abraham Accords, including Saudi Arabia. My opinion is that the Iranian Crown Prince will lead a transitional government and elections for leaders chosen legally by vote of the Iranian people.

Once again God manifests His faithfulness to keep every promise in His Word. God is faithful and never breaks His covenant, from salvation to His presence, every promise made is fulfilled in His perfect timing.

“Not a word failed of any good thing which Yehovah had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” Joshua 21:45

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 2:9

Don’t fear the outcome of this Iran war. God is establishing His throne! Pray for the Iranians that they will see their Messiah and turn from pagan Islam to the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Prophetic Necessity of THIS Iran Attack

There is a missing link in the prophecy timeline of modern Israel. Prophecy buffs seem fixated on the build up to final wars, especially Gog and Magog. But there is a season of peace that is overlooked. Ezekiel 38 reveals conditions in Israel at the onset of that invasion. No less than seven times in three verses he describes an extraordinary peace. He addresses his prophecy to the invaders, telling them what Israel is like before Gog invades. Since Israel has not experienced that degree of peace yet since 1948, it must happen soon, before the Gog invasion. Check out the seven phrases here.

(8) “After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. … (11) You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ … (14) Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?” Ezekiel 38:8,11,14

Iran/Persia was specifically named as one of the invaders, but their roll is later, after the time of peace. Iran’s present regime is acting out of sequence with Scripture and therefore must be removed until their appointed timing to invade. That is why I conclude that this present action against Iran will completely succeed, providing Israel with a season of real peace with their neighbors.

I am working on a booklet to explain the modern timeline beginning with the Holocaust and prophesied resurrection of Israel in 1948. That was an historic change from judgement of Israel to favor and restoration described in Psalm 102. The next period is described in Psalm 83, a series of wars and attacks leading to the present time. It included the regaining of ancient Jerusalem from Jordan in the 1967 Six Day War, prophesied by Jesus Himself in Luke 21:24. He said gentiles would rule until their period of ruling would end. All of these dots are now connected. We have seen it with our own eyes. The mistake is to skip the “peace” that precedes the Gog & Magog invasion.

We all pray for Jesus’ return to be ASAP, but God’s word is sure and will be fulfilled precisely. I find this encouraging and look forward to a time of peace, at least for Israel. But it will surely ripple around the world. Am I looking for a third world war now? No, I am not. Here is one more little tidbit. Do you see any Israelis killed in Ezekiel 38? No, because God Himself will fight this battle. Please carefully pray and consider what I am saying. When prophesied events and history sync up we need to pay heed. Also, please refer to my post from last week about Jeremiah 49 regarding the judgement and deliverance of Iran/Elam/Persia.

Trump’s Iran Timeline

President Trump has given several indications of his timeline, but does the Bible agree? When he met with Bibi Dec 29th in Mar-A-Largo they spoke of a “two month timeline.” Today he spoke of a ten day window. Both refer to action by the end of this month. On Jan 4th I spoke at Grace Assembly on: “Turning the Page.” I believe we are at global prophetic turning point at the scale of the fall of the Berlin wall, the 1948 return of the state of Israel, and the Israeli capture of old Jerusalem in the 1967 Six Day War. Eliminating Iran and its terrorist proxies will usher in an extraordinary time of peace for Israel and the Middle East. But I don’t conclude that from geo-political events, but rather from the Bible.

For some time I have seen this coming season of peace from the conditions Ezekiel revealed about Israel dwelling “without walls” at the time of the Gog & Magog invasion of Ezekiel 38. The removal of Iran as a threat to Israel and the region is necessary to meet Ezekiel’s description. Recently I have seen a clear prophecy of Iran in Jeremiah 49:34-39.

“Judgment on Elam – 34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might. 36 Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all those winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 38 I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the LORD. 39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the LORD.”

Here is a very short overview. First, note that Elam refers to the whole nation of Iran (scroll down to the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee lexicon entry). Second, note that the verses are chronological beginning with v. 35, the overthrow of the Shah in 1979, followed by Iranians exiled to all countries in v.36. These two events have happened. Verse 37 brings us to the present where evil leaders will be consumed by the sword which is sent by Yehovah Himself. Also during this time God sets His throne there. You have probably heard reports that three million or more Iranians have turned to Jesus, giving Him the throne over their lives. One report said that there may be more Christians now in Iran than Muslims. The last verse then declares the return of the exiles and that it occurs in the “last days.” Hallelujah!

This is happening soon. It may not be in ten days, but it is God’s plan. Pray for protection for the Iranian freedom lovers, Israel, our U.S forces, and the surrounding nations.

Last Nation Standing

The Bible has the final say, or specifically, Yehovah has the final say. We think we are in control, but in the end God wins! For thousands of years many nations have risen to eliminate Israel yet they have passed into history and Israel stands. It will be the same in our day. They are fighting against God. He established Israel and He gave them their land. He ordained that they would produce the Messiah and He would be the Savior of the world for all who accept Him.

Prime Minister Netanyahu had a quick visit in DC yesterday and cancelled his return visit next week. He will now speak to AIPAC remotely. We are likely on cusp of the major defeat of Iran’s Islamic regime at the hands of America and Israel. This fits into God’s plan and His revealed purpose. My friend Ken Schulte shared this verse with me this morning. Consider its profound meaning.

“But do not fear, O My servant Jacob, and do not be dismayed, O Israel! For behold, I will save you from afar, and your offspring from the land of their captivity; Jacob shall return, have rest and be at ease; No one shall make him afraid. Do not fear, O Jacob My servant,” says Yehovah, “For I am with you; for I will make a complete end of all the nations to which I have driven you, But I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, for I will not leave you wholly unpunished.” Jeremiah 46:27-28

God will make an end of the nations but not Israel, even though they will face correction. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to stand with God who stands with Israel. For some unknown reason I have had over 140 views this week of a post that I wrote in 2012 in which I quoted Amos 9. It goes right along with Jeremiah’s word.

“Behold, the days are coming,” says Yehovah, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it. I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,” Says Yehovah your God. Amos 9:14-15.

NO LONGER shall they be pulled up from the THEIR LAND that God gave them! Yes, they have been exiled and returned numerous times in history, but the time comes when they will never again be uprooted. All nations rise and fall but Israel is eternal! Israel is the real deal. Are they perfect? Of course not. That is why God says He will correct them rightly or justly. But they will stand! I especially like this ESV translation of Amos 9.

“I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says Yehovah your God.” Amos 9:15 ESV

American Defense Strategy Revealed

(This post is quoted from an Israeli Analyst, Guy Bechor, reporting on the new (Jan. 23) US Department of War global strategy. I don’t usually quote this much but it is so good, you need to read it. Israel’s favor is Biblically significant for God’s blessing on America.) Link to full report.

After months of preparation, the U.S. Department of War has released its “American Defense Strategy.” The 2026 U.S. Defense Strategy, rooted in the doctrine of “Flexible Realism,” establishes a clear and uncompromising hierarchy of global alliances. This strategy abandons previous “democratization” efforts in favor of raw national interest and a return to 19th-century-style power politics.

1. The Model Ally: Israel: Israel occupies a unique and exclusive position at the top of the American strategic pyramid.

• Exclusive Designation: Israel is the only nation in the world defined as a “Defense Ally”.

• Model of Self-Reliance: It is praised as a “model ally” because it is both willing and able to defend itself, particularly noted after the events of October 7.

• Guaranteed Support: The doctrine explicitly states that a strong Israel makes America stronger; therefore, the U.S. will empower Israel further, including supporting Israeli territorial requirements for its defense.

• Unprecedented Credit: Israel is mentioned 10 times with high admiration, more than any other U.S. partner.

2. The Stagnant Allies: Europe and NATO: The document shifts significant responsibility away from the U.S. and onto European nations, which are viewed as declining powers.

• The 5% Requirement: To maintain U.S. support, European allies are now expected to spend 5% of their GDP on defense (3.5% for core military and 1.5% for related security).

• Local Leadership: Europe is expected to take the lead on threats in its own region with only “limited” U.S. support, as the U.S. prioritizes the American homeland and the deterrence of China.

3. The Partners: Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia: In a stark departure from media narratives, these nations have been downgraded to a secondary tier.

• Lack of Recognition: Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia receive zero mentions by name in the foundational strategy document.

• No Defense Guarantees: There is no mention of specialized defense pacts for Qatar or Saudi Arabia; they are expected to handle their own defense against Iran independently.

• Tactical Relationships: Any cooperation with these regimes is purely tactical and interest-based, with no commitment to their specific leadership or “human rights” norms.

4. The Omitted: The Palestinians: The document signals a total removal of the Palestinian issue from the American strategic defense map.

• Zero Mentions: While once a centerpiece of U.S. Middle East policy, the Palestinians are not mentioned even once in the strategy.

5. The Rivals: China and Russia: The strategy handles major powers through deterrence rather than existential conflict.

• China (24 mentions): Defined as the primary rival. The goal is a “reasonable peace” that prevents Chinese dominance without seeking regime change or total war.

• Russia (10 mentions): Viewed as a persistent but “manageable” threat that is currently incapable of achieving European hegemony. (Israeli Analyst, Guy Bechor)

“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3

Jerusalem is Surrounded

The attention of the nations is directed to Jerusalem more than ever. Yet Yehovah God sits enthroned in the heavens above man’s petty plans. Man sees wars, religion, economic trade, political controversy and just problems in general. But above this God has a purpose from before creation to raise up a people and a nation for His own name. He chose them for blessing, not only for themselves, but for the nations. The enemy has fought against His plan from the Garden of Eden. Will Satan win? Of course not! Through all this God has been calling and reaching out to humans to enter into relationship with Him. Therefore He will not give up. He will protect His investment. This is what He says in Scripture.

“Those who trust in Yehovah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So Yehovah surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.” Psalm 124:1-2

Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together, where the tribes go up, the tribes of Yehovah, to the Testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yehovah.” Psalm 122:3-4,

“Yehovah builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.” Psalm 147:2

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from Yehovah, Who made heaven and earth.” P salm 121:1-2

Unilateral, Unconditional, Guaranteed Promise

Controversy is swirling around Israel’s right to exist. There are even those on the political right to have turned against Israel. I have friends asking me why they should care about Israel. The answer is in the nature of Yehovah God. He made unique promises through Abraham to Israel that are unconditional. We normally think of a covenant as a two-way agreement. But God’s promise to Abraham was unconditional. It did not depend on man’s obedience. It was a one-way promise. You can argue with God about why He blessed and chose Israel, but that is between you and Him. The covenant is already enacted, sealed, and delivered! It will not change because God does not change. He cannot lie. His righteous character backs up His promises.

On the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates” Genesis 15:18

Joel Richardson recently shared this concept on Facebook: “The Abrahamic Covenant is a unilateral, unconditional, guaranteed promise from God to give the children of Israel the promised land forever. Participation in that promise, of course, does require faith (in YHVH and His Messiah), which God also unconditionally promises to impart into the hearts of the children of Israel.”

“Moreover the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 30:6

“For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36:24–28

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord. But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31–34

Decision Time

While Americans are consumed with news about Venezuela and Minnesota something profound is happening in Iran and Gaza. I believe the first two months of 2026 will witness major prophetic events. Of course the Western hemisphere is important, but let’s focus on the Middle East. The Egypt/Gaza border is about to open, releasing over a million Gaza civilians to flee the war zone for the first time. This will lead to Israel disarming and finally defeating Hamas. At the same time, Iran is on the brink and will finally have regime change. Demonstrations now involve over 130 cities and growing, with reports of even military and security forces defecting. Multiple sources are reporting that the Ayatollah has plans to escape to Russia. Decisions are being made in Jerusalem, Washington, Venezuela, Iran, and many places that will prove to be the fulfillment of God’s plan. It is exciting to be alive at this time to pray in agreement with God.

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yehovah is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. Yehovah also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; But Yehovah will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” Joel 3:14-16

There have been specific times in history where Yehovah God Himself intervenes to fulfill His prophetic promises. I refer to those times as God “turning the page.” This is such a time. Above human events there is a Divine moment where God’s hand touches earth. Just as Peter recognized Pentecost as: “This is that” which was prophesied by Joel, we are in a “this is that” moment. Last Sunday I spoke at Grace Assembly of God in Wake Forest on the subject: “It’s Time to Turn the Page!” (Here is the video link. Scroll down halfway and the message starts at 37 min.) Don’t miss the time of God’s visitation. Do you see His hand, or are you fearfully only seeing man’s feeble rebellion? As the cliche goes: “I have read the end of the Book. We win!”

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the momentous decisions by nations, leaders, and by people.

Wisdom for 2026

Enjoy a shared bit of wisdom for the new year from my wife, Doreen (wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother):

Is setting goals a Biblical concept; or is it a matter of age? Jesus said: “Take no thought for tomorrow”. Matthew 6:34. This year I have no goal, except to take each day gratefully and obediently, knowing that His grace is sufficient. I have never had less assurance about what lies ahead except what Jesus has promised. I see through a glass darkly, but I am promised a brilliant and eternal future… 2026? Who knows? HE knows! That is enough.

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for Yehovah your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

God originally gave this promise to Joshua and two verses later emphasized: “Do not fear nor be dismayed.” We are not to fear life and events, but only to fear the Lord. He is the one who goes before us and prepares the way for us to live. Doreen is right, HE knows. Trust Him!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and especially for Gaza this week. PM Netanyahu returns to Israel today and reports say the Gaza/Egypt border may be opened after he returns home. All of this is evidence of our faithful God who keeps His promises to Israel and to each of us personally.

Hanukkah and Healing

Hanukkah means more to me as a Christian Zionist that you may think. In light of the terrible terrorist murders in Australia we are reminded that darkness can never cancel the light of God. If you have a totally sealed room with no windows and a door to another room that has windows and sunlight, what happens when you open the door? Does darkness flow into the light room and make it dark? Of course not! The light floods the darkness and illuminates the sealed room. This evening the fifth light of Hanukkah is lit around the world. This is more than a tradition; it is proof of light triumphing over darkness.

This year Hanukkah and Christmas are close together. Zionist Christians not only believe the land belongs to Israel, but that there is soon coming a wonderful joining together of Jews and Christians. There has been a great wall between us (understandingly) for centuries, but a highly respected first century Rabbi spoke of the breaking down of that wall. After Paul, the apostle, embraced Yeshua as the Messiah, he stopped persecuting followers of Yeshua. He later wrote much of the New Testament. This quote speaking of “one new man” is one of my favorites.

“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.” Ephesians 2:14-16

This same Paul also clarified something most Christians miss. The Jews are not joined into the church but the opposite. God chose Israel and planted it among the nations. Because of various judgements God scattered them in all countries. Apostle Paul explained it as some of their branches being broken off and wild Gentile branches grafted into the Israel tree. But then God restores Israel by grafting them back into their own tree. Most Christians think the church replaced Israel, but they are wrong. God promised to restore Israel and He cannot lie. We are living in this time of restoration which is manifestly evident in modern history.

“For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.” Romans 16:18

All of the early believers were Jews and Paul warned the later Gentile believers not to be arrogant. Christians failed to heed that warning. However, I am humbled and thankful that God has grafted me into Israel. Since I am not Jewish I cannot make Aliyah or I would be living in Israel today. But I stand with Israel and support the Jewish family with all my heart. With the historic rise in antisemitism it is more important than ever that Christians speak up for Zion and God’s chosen people. Their choosing was not only for themselves, but was intended as a blessing to all the nations. That can only happen through this great prophetic time of restoration! No wonder Satan tries to destroy Israel, they are God’s choice to bless the whole world.

As the Hanukkah lights burn brightly and Christians celebrate the birth of Yeshua, God the Father is healing the nations.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! And pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump that they will hear from Yehovah God, and have courage to do the right thing.

God is the #1 Zionist

A Zionist is simply one who believes that God gave the land of Israel to the Jews. Yehovah God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is the top Zionist in the universe. It is His idea and His will that Israel live on the particular geographical location He chose for them. His enemies have tried to complicate the definition, but in the end it about the land and God’s everlasting promise. You can see His love and even His zeal for Zion in this quote.

“Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her.’ Thus says Yehovah: ‘I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of Yehovah of hosts, The Holy Mountain.’ Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.’ Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes?’ Says Yehovah of hosts. Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west; I will bring them back, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.’” Zechariah 1:1-8

Notice that this short passage tells us five specific things about God Himself.

He expresses great zeal; with great fervor.
He will make Jerusalem His dwelling place, His home!
It will be marvelous in His eyes!
He will bring His people back.
They will be His people and He will be their God, in truth and righteousness.

None of this is delegated to the angels. God does it Himself with great satisfaction and joy. Yehovah reveals His heart in this chapter. He is a hands-on God! This is what He personally wants. He rejoices in performing His promise. No matter how much controversy surrounds Zionism, we must stand in agreement with God. Our own personal integrity issues from that agreement. Align your will with God’s will, even when it is hard. “Integrity is siding with God’s Word against yourself.” Anonymous.

“The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity (or duplicity) of the unfaithful will destroy them.” Proverbs 11:3

“May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you.” Psalm 25:21 NLT

The Trillion Dollar Peace Deal

When the Saudi Crown Prince met President Trump this week he committed to a trillion dollar investment in the Unites States. How does this apply to Biblical prophecy? It follows the UN agreement to Trump’s 20 point peace plan for Gaza. I believe it fits with a season of extraordinary peace for Israel. The Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38 occurs at a time of great peace for Israel when they have taken down their walls, have no bars or gates, and enjoy true peace and security all around. This reality requires great relations with their adjacent neighbors. How do we get to that point? Trump’s plan must work, and Saudi Arabia is key. Few believe they will join in that peace, but Scripture indicates they will. That is what I believe, not skeptical media reports.

Where Are the Arab Countries in Ezekiel 38?

Bible prophecy makes a compelling case by comparing Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38. Both describe wars and both list the countries attacking Israel by name. Psalm 83 predicts the initial attacks of 1948 lasting decades. The countries named are all adjacent to Israel. However, the Ezekiel war lists countries that circle outside those adjacent Arab countries. So, what happens to those Arab states? They are not mentioned in Ezekiel. That is because they have made peace with Israel after 80 years! None of them have attacked for years. Only the terrorists remain and they are about finished. Trump’s plan finishes them. After that Israel enters an extended time of peace to the point that they completely let down their guard. The peace would need to be so good for a length of time before they would be willing to trust their Arab neighbors.

“You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.” Ezekiel 38:11-12

Isaiah also describes this time of peace where Egypt and Assyria (Syria and Lebanon) are finally at peace with Israel. All adjacent Arab neighbors will be working together with Israel. This sure sounds to me like the Abraham Accords.

“In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, whom Yehovah of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.” Isaiah 19:23-25

Even Turkey agreed to Trump’s plan. That fits with the Gog and Magog war being delayed a considerable time. Let us view current events in line with God’s plan. In the end I do not rely on the Trump plan unless it coincides with God’s plan. So far, so good!

Pray for His will to be accomplished for Israel and the Arabs alike, that many will turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and recognize the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus our Messiah and Son of God! Pray for the leaders to hear from God, have courage, and do the right thing. And always pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Pregnant Prophecy Transition Time

What if you were alive when epic prophecy fulfillments were happening and you didn’t notice? That is exactly what happened when Messiah Yeshua first came, and most of Israel did not recognize Him And it is happening again now. Those who are seeing now are both ecstatic and frustrated at the same time. We who have eyes to see are thrilled to see God’s promises unfolding right before our eyes today. Yet, it is so frustrating that most are oblivious to the extraordinary Biblical moment in which we are living. God’s timeline has proceeded for 6,000 years and we are now on the threshold of the final chapter of history. We are in the Biblical timing of the last transition. All the grand themes of the Bible are converging in our day! Indeed, promises pending are like pregnancy and birth. It is transition time! (For clarity please refer to my January article: “This is That!” with more specific examples.)

“Surely the Lord Yehovah does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord Yehovah has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:7

Here are five awesome fulfillments you need to recognize that are converging at this time of history. These are big picture trends confirmed by the detailed prophesies referenced in my January post.

Restoration of Israel – Ezekiel is one of many prophets who saw the miraculous resurrection of Israel at the end, complete with regathering to their own land, forgiveness of sin, and a new heart. Ezekiel 36:24-28
Rise of Islam – This religion combines the political and religious principalities as the antichrist system that opposes the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The election of a Marxist/Muslim mayor of New York is the latest example. Also see the remarkable changes in the UK with over 200 Muslims in the government. Islam denies that God is a Father. “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22
Revelation – Amos (above) tells us God will reveal His plans. Also the “thief in the night” passage clearly states that believers will see because they are not in the dark. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9
Rebellion – The identity crisis in today’s youth exposes a core selfishness. Cosplay, where everyone dresses up wildly but then assumes that identity, shows the confusion facing this generation. All ages are caught up in this self-love revealed prophetically. 2 Timothy 3
Revival – Believers are now seeing a great awakening to Jesus, especially among young people since the Charlie Kirk assassination and martyrdom. “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:35

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

Did God cancel Israel because they missed the Messiah 2,000 years ago? Or, did He instead judge them severely by scattering them among the nations TEMORARILY until a final restoration? There is a critical Bible doctrine on which most last day prophecy hinges. This false heretical doctrine of cancellation is called “replacement theology.” which is simply stated: “Israel has been permanently replaced in God’s plan by the church.” The entire Bible refutes that heresy. Ironically, Tucker Carlson had the audacity and ignorance to call the truth of God’s promise to Israel as the heresy. To his defense, the replacement error is firmly in the DNA of Christian theology from the Second Century. I pray that Tucker will open his Bible and see this wonderful time of Israel’s restoration.

Biblical Zionism

Words matter. Last week I wrote about “the F-word.” Today my word is Zionism. There are many confusing ideas about Zionism. For antisemites it is an evil thing like the F-word. For others it means total and uncritical support of all things Israel, even the government. For some it is a political movement supporting the Israeli right to exist. But I call myself a Christian Zionist because my foundation is the whole Bible. I am a Biblical Zionist who happens to be a Christian. The genealogy of Jesus dates from the beginning in Genesis where Eve is told that a Savior will come from her seed. Later He extended the promise specifically through the seed of three men, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When Jacob’s name was changed to Israel a nation was born. Israel was formed, not to limit salvation to the Jews, but as the incubator of the Messiah who is Jewish. He is Savior to all who follow Him, both Jew and Gentile. God made many unconditional promises to Israel including that they would be an “everlasting” Kingdom. He would keep His word even when they sinned and failed because God cannot lie. A Biblical Zionist does not worship Israel, but the faithful God who promised. Israel is living proof that Yehovah God keeps His word. Therefore, I trust Him with all the promises of Messiah Yeshua as my personal Savior. If God lied about Israel, how could we trust what He says about Jesus?

For Yehovah has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.” Psalm 132:13-14

“Hear the word of Yehovah, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ “ Jeremiah 31:10

“Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth—” Isaiah 43:5-6

Tucker Carlson Accuses Christian Zionists of Heresy: ‘I Dislike Them More Than Anybody’ – “Mike Huckabee … and other non-Jewish Republicans among those who believe in Christian Zionism, which he called a church “heresy.” He added that those who believe in it are “seized with some kind of brain virus,” and said, “I am offended by that as a Christian.” Huckabee responded in a post on X, writing, “Wasn’t aware that Tucker despises me. I do get that a lot from people not familiar with the Bible or history. Then you shall know that I am Yehovah.” Ezekiel 36:6-11

Are you a Bible believer? Zion occurs 160 times in the Bible. Israel occurs 2,570 times in the Bible.

They Shall Proclaim the Praises of Yehovah

We all rejoice in the peace agreement for Gaza this week, but what follows? I maintain that there will be a time of extraordinary peace between the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel 38 war of Gog & Magog. What if I told you that millions of Arabs would find salvation in Jesus and gladly become pro-Israel and join the Abraham Accords?

Since 1948 Israel has been under attack from their Arab neighbors listed by country in Psalm 83. That comes to an end with the surrender of Hamas. Yet Israelis will certainly take awhile to tear down the walls and accept complete belief in the relief offered by genuine peace. This is not the anti-Christ peace, but a period described in Ezekiel 38, who used seven different phrases stipulating the conditions of real peace being enjoyed by Israel before the Gog invasion (which, again, lists the names of the countries involved).

It is during this period that Arabs/Palestinians will turn to Jesus. Isaiah 19 ends with an amazing relationship between Egypt, Israel, and Syria which specifically includes Egyptians worshipping Yehovah.

“In that day there will be an altar to Yehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yehovah at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to Yehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yehovah because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then Yehovah will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yehovah in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to Yehovah and perform it.” Isaiah 19:19-21

But what about Saudi Arabia, you may ask? I believe they will also find our Messiah’s salvation. It is already clear to most that they will very soon be joining the Abraham Accords. But there is evidence in Isaiah’s prophecy that they will also worship Yehovah God. Last week I quoted the Zechariah promise that there would be Palestinians “who remain” in Israel (after the Hamas Gaza defeat) who would worship the God of Israel. In addition, there is the evidence for Saudi Arabia. Note that each of the five geographically named areas are all in Saudi Arabia!

“Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of Yehovah. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, and I will glorify the house of My glory.” Isaiah 60:5-7

This may be a stretch for you, but open your heart to the possibilities of our merciful Savior!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for the salvation of Jews and Arabs alike!

The End Result of the 20 Point Peace Plan

This peace plan is on target for God’s plan for the Palestinians. For several weeks I have been posting about the end of the Gaza War. Amos 1:6-7 declares this fourth Gaza war in 20 years will end with God’s punishment after it was deferred for the first three wars. (See: Final Push Into Gaza) But the most exciting verse is in the second part of Zechariah 9:7. It reveals that after Gaza is conquered there will be survivors who will join Israel. (Note: We know there is no DNA connection between Philistines and Palestinians, but it the same ancient demonic principality and methods.) I believe this verse prophetically speaks of today.

“Then the surviving Philistines will worship our God and become like a clan in Judah. The Philistines of Ekron will join my people, as the ancient Jebusites once did.” Zechariah 9:7b NLT

This indicates that these “surviving” Palestinians will be saved and accepted into Israel (See: Clan Plan Confirmed by Scripture) Zechariah finishes with them joining Israel as the ancient Jebusites did.

The verse indicates a future transformation where the Philistines will abandon their former ways and join the worship of the God of Israel.
This joining is likened to the Jebusites, who eventually became part of the Israelite community after King David’s conquest of Jebusite Jerusalem.
The phrase suggests a significant change in identity and allegiance for the Philistines, moving from enemies to worshippers of God.
The comparison to the Jebusites highlights theme of redemption, showing that even former adversaries can become part of God’s people.

This concept is further confirmed by Isaiah: “Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yehovah, to serve Him, and to love the name of Yehovah, to be His servants— Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant— Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” The Lord Yehovah, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to him Others besides those who are gathered to him.” Isaiah 56:6-8

This is confirmed directly by Jesus: “Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ” Mark 11:17

It is so easy to get caught up in the news and lose sight of God’s promises. But I believe He is proceeding right on schedule to fulfill His Word. The land title has been gifted to Israel by God, and will not be revoked.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Yehovah’s Kingdom to come through Yeshua our Messiah!

The Creator God is Faithful to Israel

The Creator has revealed Himself in many ways. He is the only true God and can be seen in all He has created. He is also revealed in the written word…the Holy Scriptures. Among all the ways of revelation however, there remains a particularly clear unveiling of the faithful God. He is revealed in His relationship with one land and one specific people: Israel, His sign to the whole world.

This is not to deny His loving relationship with all peoples who will seek Him. All of God’s activities in the entire earth are derived from the critical fact of His own character: faithfulness! Thus, how God views Israel over the course of history, shows the standard of integrity issuing directly from His own character. This is of utmost importance, first to the people of Israel and then to all the other nations that are destined to be included. The biblical analogy is of one plant with branches broken off, wild branches grafted into the original plant, and finally some of the broken off branches being grafted back into the same planting.

Even the scripture record itself, with the great promise of salvation through the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and all the other Bible promises, does not stand alone! The veracity or truthfulness of the written word is only as sure as the truthful character of the author. The source of the Bible’s authority is the Person of Yehovah who reveals Himself through the awesome process of many writers over many centuries of time. But if God lies or breaks His word in any way, then the basis of believing is lost. The word of a liar is worthless. But God only speaks truth, because God is truth!

God’s power is manifested in creation but His faithful nature is particularly confirmed in Israel. Israel’s existence is as certain as the fixed laws of the universe. God is raising up Israel out of the sea of nations in prophetic fulfillment of His eternal purpose. GOD IS FAITHFUL!

“Thus says Yehovah, who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (Yehovah of hosts is His name): If those ordinances depart from before Me, says Yehovah, then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.” Jeremiah 31:35-36

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! And pray especially this week that President Trump will hear from God in this critical moment of nations roaring.

Archeology Breakthrough

Marco Rubio and Bibi Netanyahu literally broke through the last rocks of the pilgrimage road from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount this past week! This ancient road proves Israeli sovereignty over the land of Israel and its capital, Jerusalem. One of the high points of the joint visit by Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Secretary of State Rubio and their wives was to the City of David in Jerusalem, where the historic pilgrims’ road, from the Siloam Pool to the Temple was revealed for the first time.

Here is a great video from Ambassador Mike Huckabee – Incredible event as we were first in 2000 yrs to go from pilgrimage road to Temple Mount.

“Then Yehovah appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to Yehovah, who had appeared to him.” Genesis 12:7

Remember the promise God gave to Abram. It was to him and his descendants. God clearly specified later that the promise was only to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It was the same covenant that said from Abram’s seed would come the Messiah! God’s promise is being kept today in Israel. Hallelujah!

A Real Plan for Gaza Civilians

The Israeli sun is rising! February 4th this year President Trump stunned the press corps with his vision for Gaza. Now, eight months later it beginning to take shape. My last two posts discussed the plans for Judea and Samaria (West Bank). But today let’s zero in on Gaza. I believe Trump’s plan is about to be announced. The IDF now control 40% of Gaza City and the end of Hamas is near. Part of the last phase features the voluntary exit of a million or more civilians. Here are recent breaking news accounts of the emerging exodus.

President Trump continues planning significant post-war Gaza reconstruction, including voluntary emigration – Report indicates Trump has not given up on ‘Gaza Riviera’ plan, seeking investors to fund reconstruction.

Notice the screenshot of the cover of the 38 page document detailing his plans. He is serious. The photo is described as: “The GREAT Trust: From a Demolished Iranian Proxy to a Prosperous Abrahamic Ally.” The title, GREAT Trust, is an anacronym for “”Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust.”

Post-War Gaza Plan Sees Relocation of Population, ‘Digital Token’ for Palestinian Land: Washington Post – Anyone who owns land would be offered a “digital token” in exchange for rights to redevelop their property, the Post reported, adding that each Palestinian who left would be provided with $5,000 in cash and subsidies to cover four years of rent. They would also be provided with a year of food, it added.

Secret Gaza makeover plan offers Palestinians $5000 to leave – According to Washington Post, comprehensive proposal would establish decade-long US trusteeship while transforming enclave into tourism and tech hub through voluntary Palestinian departures.

In addition to these articles there is a fascinating discovery on Google Earth apparently showing an extremely large area of thousands of apartment buildings that I estimate could temporarily house possibly up to a million refugees in Egypt only seven miles from the Egypt/Gaza border slightly SE of Rafah. I wish I could show you myself, but please take a moment and see for yourself. This could be connected to the rumored million refugees accepted by Libya. Stay tuned!

Egypt deploys 40,000 troops to Gaza border – Arab media (click for picture).

I believe Egypt is ready to open the Gaza border now, but will not allow Gazans beyond a very tight perimeter which includes the temporary housing that is prepared for them.

Finally, this all fits within Biblical prophecy. I have previously detailed the four Gaza Hamas wars since 2005 that ends with God Himself allowing the punishment after the fourth (Amos 1:6-7). Notice verse seven clearly describes the vast destruction of Gaza buildings that we see in the news. Here is one more prophecy that I believe applies to Gaza in our day.

Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of Yehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; so there shall be no inhabitant.” Zephaniah 2:5

Cherethites = “executioners” according to Strong’s Concordance. Some translations say “assassins” which pretty well describes Hamas and all terrorists, including suicide bombers. This even suggests the inhabitants will be gone, none left. That will be the result of Trump’s plan. I get excited when I see the Bible and the news coinciding. I could be wrong, of course, but let’s keep our eyes open.

Clan Plan Confirmed by Scripture

Last week I wrote about the Secret Solution to Gaza and the West Bank. Here is an amazing revelation from the prophet Zechariah that details exactly my point last Thursday. Each phrase is remarkably describing what is now happening in Israel and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). First, let me acknowledge that most translations differ from the New Living Translation in this case. However, my study of Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew text, and even the root words behind the text reveal this present day unfolding scenario. Let’s look at it.

“Foreigners will occupy the city of Ashdod. I will destroy the pride of the Philistines. I will grab the bloody meat from their mouths and snatch the detestable sacrifices from their teeth. Then the surviving Philistines will worship our God and become like a clan in Judah. The Philistines of Ekron will join my people, as the ancient Jebusites once did.” Zechariah 9:6-7 NLT

It has been proven by DNA that today’s Palestinians are Arabs. They are not descendants from the ancient Philistines. But, they have appropriated the spirit of the Philistines, a geographical principality that hates God and His choice to bless Israel with the eternal deed to the land. That is why Hamas behaves precisely like the ancient enemy of Israel. Look at Zechariah’s declaration as referencing today’s Palestinians.

Yehovah will destroy their pride. Certainly pride and arrogance emanates from them.
He will remove their bloody purpose: seen from suicide bombers to over 1,400 mostly civilians murdered and taken hostage in the worst single day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
After the conclusive judgement of the fourth war in 20 years, (see Amos 1:6-7) some will survive and worship Yehovah. This may indicate they will accept Yeshua and the God of Israel.
They will “become like a clan in Judah!” This is the actual desire of the clans who request recognition from Israel. Be sure to read last week’s “Secret Solution” post.
They will join Israel as the “ancient Jebusites once did.” The Holy Spirit through Zechariah cites the Biblical precedent to justify non-Jews being included in the nation of Israel.

This is the “secret solution” about to be revealed to the world. I believe Gaza civilians will be allowed to voluntarily evacuate Gaza for other Arab/Muslim nations. The clans who remain in the West Bank, especially Hebron, will reject Hamas and even the Palestinian Authority from ruling over them. They will recognize Israel as the Jewish state and join the Abraham Accords. Israel will allow self-government in their clans or “emirates” and eventually grant Israeli citizenship through annexation. Is this too marvelous in our eyes? God is able!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for wisdom and courage for all the leaders (including the clans) to do the right thing!

Secret Solution for Gaza and West Bank

All the media talk is fixated on a “two-state” concept that is so dead that even diplomats are waking up. Yet there is a brilliant solution about to emerge. Israel’s enemies still clamor for two states but in truth they insist on one state: Palestine. The radical terrorists have been driving the bus for too long. It is time for Arabs who recognize Israel to have their say. I am speaking not of Arab Israelis who are happy being citizens, but the Arab League, who has made a major turn.

In 1st, entire Arab League condemns Oct. 7, urges Hamas to disarm – Arab and Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey, signed a declaration Tuesday condemning for the first time Hamas’s onslaught of October 7, 2023, and calling on the Palestinian terror group to release all the hostages it is holding, disarm and end its rule of Gaza, in a bid to end the devastating war in the Strip.

Admittedly, they also called for a Palestinian state but that part will not happen for two reasons. Yehovah God Himself has deeded the land to Israel in the Bible. Plus, Israel will never go back to Oct 7 with terrorists on their border. Prime Minister has declared this and is backed up by President Trump.

Trump States Hamas Must Be ‘Confronted and Destroyed’ as Gaza City Residents Evacuate Ahead of IDF Offensive – “We will only see the return of the remaining hostages when Hamas is confronted and destroyed!!! The sooner this takes place, the better the chances of success will be,”

The secret plan emerging is a complete rejection of not only Hamas, but also the Palestinian Authority. The former Mayor of Jerusalem, MK Nir Barkat, has been quietly meeting with Arab sheikhs who control clans (700,000 Arabs) throughout the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). They reject the terrorists and will recognize Israel. The rule in the Middle East has been by families or clans for thousands of years. It is the natural solution.

Hebron sheikhs want to leave Palestinian Authority, join Abraham Accords – “We want cooperation with Israel,” says Sheikh Wadee’ al-Jaabari. “We want coexistence.” Sheikh Wadee’ al-Jaabari and four other prominent clan leaders from Hebron have signed a letter pledging peace and full recognition of Israel as a Jewish state. Their plan: Hebron would secede from the Palestinian Authority, establish an independent emirate, and join the Abraham Accords.

Minister Barkat: ‘Emirates plan an excellent alternative to Palestinian state’ – Economy Minister Nir Barkat tells Arutz Sheva the proposal of creating “Emirates” in Judea and Samaria is the best option for all parties in the long run and has the best chance of success. “This is a governance model based on tribes, which has proven to be the most successful model in the Arab world.”

“When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.” Deuteronomy 32:8

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;” Acts 17:26-27

We need to pray that the wisdom of this solution will be seen by all and especially President Trump. True boundaries are set by God. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that the leaders will hear God’s voice, have courage, and do the right thing!

Where Does God Rest?

We know He rested on the seventh day of creation, but where does He rest? We also know that He neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). But He does rest. So, does He have a special place? Some people think of God as a great mystery, even unknowable. But the opposite is true. Yehovah God reveals Himself literally all over the place. He can be seen in the design of His creative masterpieces from the universe down to the tiniest atom or quark. His crowning creation is man. He is also seen in the never-ending beauty and variety every flower, fish, bird, and even people. But the most detailed revelation of His personality, character, and even His purpose is spelled out in plain language in the Bible. This God-breathed record of History (which is His-Story) also reveals intimate details about Himself. But still I ask: Where does God rest?

“Let us go into His tabernacle; Let us worship at His footstool. Arise, O Yehovah, to Your resting place,You and the ark of Your strength.” Psalm 132:7-8

For Yehovah has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.” Psalm 132:13-14

His resting place is in Zion, forever! The name Zion has many facets. It refers interchangeably to the land of Israel, the mountain, and the city of Jerusalem. As a Christian Zionist, I believe God gave the whole land to Israel in an everlasting covenant. But even more exciting is that He dwells there, it is His resting place! While journeying through the wilderness and for nearly four hundred years at Shiloh after Joshua’s conquest, God dwelt in Moses’ Tabernacle. But that was just His RV for travel. His ultimate eternal resting place is Zion/Jerusalem! Even when the Messiah Yeshua comes He will reign in Jerusalem. No wonder the world goes crazy against the Jews and Jerusalem, both His people and His resting place. Man’s ultimate rebellion against God is against His resting place.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.” Psalm 122:6-7

I like to say that this verse is God’s #1 prayer request. We pray in agreement with His purpose and rest.

Final Push in Gaza

Israel has made their decision. Today Israel announced they will take total control of Gaza and eliminate Hamas. Netanyahu to Fox News: “We intend to militarily take control of the entire Gaza Strip, to free the civilian population, dismantle Hamas, and transfer it to an alternative government.” Here is a link to the Fox News interview where Netanyahu calls for Hamas to be eliminated and hostages released. (As I finish this post it is after midnight in Israel and the cabinet is still debating, I will update here when they are finished.) (After over 10 hours of debate the cabinet agreed to occupy Gaza City.)

Trump doesn’t oppose Netanyahu plan for full Gaza occupation: – President Trump does not oppose Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to launch a new military operation to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, U.S. and Israeli officials say.

Rubio: There will be no peace until Hamas is disbanded – global attention must also focus on freeing the 20 hostages held by Hamas and disarming the terror group.

Time to revisit Amos as we see the end of the fourth war in Gaza in 20 years. They keep attacking Israeli civilians in what the Bible calls “transgressions.”

Thus says Yehovah: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces.” Amos 1:6-7

Remember that it is Yehovah God who says He will not “turn away” the punishment of Gaza. It is now time for the final act. God is faithful to keep His word. He not only speaks truth, but He acts to make sure it comes to pass just as He promised. Man speaks many words without doing, but God performs every word He speaks!

Then Yehovah said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.” J eremiah 1:12 ESV

Also remember that during the plagues of Exodus, Pharoah hardened his heart at first, but then Yehovah hardened Pharoah’s heart. I believe that God has hardened Hamas’ heart at this point.

We must pray intentionally for God’s word to be fulfilled at this very time. The last battles could be tough. Pray for supernatural victory with minimal deaths. Pray for protection of the hostages and the troops and wisdom for the leaders. Now is the time!

Anti-Semites Hate God

Behind the uproar is a solid Biblical truth. The rise in hatred of Jews and Christians is not social; it is spiritual. The source of Jew and Israel hate is hatred of God, because He chose them! In the last days this is extended to hate of Christians for the same reason. Rebellion from God is the motivation.

“Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, YOUR enemies make a tumult; and those who hate YOU have lifted up their head. … For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against YOU:” Psalm 83:1-2,5

Since God’s enemies can’t touch God, they attack His chosen people. They purpose to eliminate Israel completely, even from memory. That is a powerful hatred. But they will fail! Yehovah God will keep His eternal covenant with His people Israel. The great news is that we Christians have been added into the “commonwealth of Israel,” according to Romans 11:17 and Ephesians 2:12-16. In the end the true believers from Jews and Gentiles are all part of God’s redeemed as “one new man.” Of course it also means that Christian believers are also now the target of that ancient hatred of God.

“They have taken crafty counsel against YOUR people, and consulted together against YOUR sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” Psalm 83:3-4

This Sunday is the “9th of Av” This date of the month of Av on the Jewish calendar has a horrible list of tragedies against the Jews throughout history. Here is just a partial list:

The evil report of the 10 spies (Numbers 13-14) — The destruction of the 1st and 2nd temples — The expulsion of Jews from England France and Spain and the beginning of WWI — The deportation of Jews from the Warsaw ghetto to Treblinka — The expulsion from Gaza in 2005 Curt Landry Ministries

These events all happened at the same time of year. No wonder Jews observe these days with solemn mourning and reflection. Yet, Israel is alive today and the empires who conquered them are gone!

Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arab Muslim Caliphates, Ottomans, and British are all no longer empires! Yet Israel lives! Am Israel Chai! The people of Israel live!

Finally, all of this hateful antisemitism has a silver lining. There is hope. The attention to it has caused many to reexamine Israel. There is a great opportunity now to share the good news of the restoration of Israel because God is faithful. Plus, since He is showing Himself faithful to them, our faith is encouraged and energized to spread the Gospel of Yeshua, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Gaza Gambit 2.0

Five months ago PM Netanyahu and Pres. Trump announced a bombshell plan for Gaza. Where are we now? This week, they have met again in DC, several times. Bibi has been meeting with every top official also found time to honor the two young people killed at the DC Israeli Embassy. The reason Bibi came to meet with the President was to discuss a Gaza cease fire, along with Iran, Syria, and several other items.

No deal has been announced as I write this and Netanyahu is flying home this evening. My view is that the main discussion was about what I call The Gaza Gambit 2.0. I wrote about it here. But much has transpired since February. I believe Trump has arranged countries who will absorb voluntary Gaza refugees. Timing is everything as usual, but I see it all lining up like ducks in a row.

The great victory over Iran clears the way for each step. Syria is about ready. Lebanon is close. The Houtis need to be defeated and Hamas completely neutralized. We are closer every day. Will a ceasefire create another delay? Possibly, but not for long. The Saudis and other nations are on the brink of agreeing to join the Abraham Accords paving the way for the “exceptional” peace we have been talking about from Ezekiel 38. It is quite satisfying to me that most prophetic commentators are now seeing this peace before the Gog and Magog War.

I believe our two national leaders are in lock step with the purpose of God. The final plan is His. Yehovah has been faithfully executing His plan over many years, bringing it to this time of manifestation. The time is now. Never again is now. We are not turning back from this prophetic moment. It is God’s moment. I rest in this Bible verse about the nature and character of Yehovah God. Nothing else matters.

For Yehovah of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?” Isaiah 14:27

Isaiah was talking about God’s purpose with Assyria, but uses this fact that when God speaks no one can annul it. “Every promise of God is yes and amen!” 2 Corinthians 1:20

God has a purpose for Gaza and no man or demon can annul it!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Pray that President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu will hear from God, and have courage to do the right thing.

Grasp the Sleeve of a Jewish Man

“Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” Zechariah 8:23

Why does the Bible tell Gentiles to grab the sleeve of a Jewish man? Israel is rising as a superpower in the Middle East. What is happening? How is that possible? Does this prophecy from Zechariah speak of our day? The miracle restoration of Israel in one generation is unprecedented. It is marvelous! What does that say about Israel’s future? Did God bring them back to their land to kill them? Or, is the His Divine Plan being manifest before our eyes. I believe it is part of the great harvest of souls in the last days. There is a great awakening coming not only in America, but around the world. Jews and Arabs are coming to Jesus. Israel is rising to a new place in the earth. “Thus says Yehovah of hosts: ‘Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities; The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, “Let us continue to go and pray before Yehovah, and seek Yehovah of hosts. I myself will go also.” Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Yehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before Yehovah.” Zechariah 8:20-22

Does this have anything to do with Yeshua? Remember when most of His disciples left him? Those who stayed with Him would not let go. That is what is happening in our day. People are seeing Yeshua as the Jew to follow. Ten times as many Gentiles are getting saved now, but His own will soon follow Him as well.

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” John 6: 66-69

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and wisdom in this week’s decisions in Washington, DC.

The Unthinkable 12 Day War

There is no question that no one saw it coming. Defeating Iran in 12 days, crippling Hezbollah with pagers and walkie talkies, the fall of Syria’s dictator, Lebanon reborn, Hamas on the ropes? Unthinkable! That word can be applied to each of those events. I remember a line from the Princess Bride movie: “You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means.” Shall we keep going? How about the soon major expansion of the Abraham Accords including Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and others? How many events can be unthinkable one after the other? There is only one explanation for all of these amazing results. God is supernaturally working! He has a plan and a promise. He is faithfully fulfilling His word. We live in Biblical times. Time and again throughout the Scriptures God delivered His people from their enemies. He is doing it again today. Consider Joshua of old… or Netanyahu and Trump today.

“And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that Yehovah your God has done to these two kings; so will Yehovah do to all the kingdoms through which you pass. ‘You must not fear them, for Yehovah your God Himself fights for you.’ “Then I pleaded with Yehovah at that time, saying: ‘O Lord Yehovah, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do anything like Your works and Your mighty deeds?” Deuteronomy 3:22-24

God fights for Israel and blesses those who bless Israel! Israel’s War of Independence in 1948 was won against the Arab Legion of seven Arab armies. The amazing and miraculous Six Day War in June 1967 was by the hand of God. And now the humiliating defeat of a terror superpower in twelve days demonstrates again the intervening, almighty power of the living God. This truly is a defeat of the pagan god of Islam. Their chant of “Allah Akbar” is always mistranslated in Western media. It is not “god is great.” They say their god is the “greatest.” It has always been a spiritual war. It may not be over, but our God Yehovah is advancing! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the true, living, and faithful Father God!

Keep praying for God’s Kingdom to advance. There are many more to be saved! Pray for the true peace of Jerusalem, Yeshua Sar Shalom/Jesus Prince of Peace.
