Nikki Haley – “We’ll be taking names”

10 10 2018

Dry Bones Nikki HaleyHere are excerpts from a great article by Jack Engelhard, writing for Israel National News.

He quite clearly expresses the strength of Nikki Haley as US Ambassador to the UN. Her unapologetic stand for Israel was clear when the UN tried to condemn the US for moving our Embassy to Jerusalem. That is why she is my hero. In addition, she is an outspoken Christian personally and also boldly defending persecuted Christians around the world.

The best of Nikki Haley – “We’ll be taking names” Most days at the UN, she was the only man in the room. Pray that Trump will find another. Those days of bowing to the nations are over, finished, and if there was one moment that defined her entire approach to the entire world, it came at her defense of Israel.

Precisely, it came after President Trump named Jerusalem the capital of Israel, a decision that angered the nations. They were so used to having Israel their wayIsrael was their sport.

So they insisted on a do-over, which meant, as we recorded it here, a General Assembly resolution to protest Trump’s declaration. That included moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, which infuriated them even further—and which triggered Nikki Haley to rise to the occasion – and did she ever!

As follows: “At the UN we’re always asked to do more and give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thursday there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The U.S. will be taking names.”

Message sent. Message delivered. Message received…

…Sure enough foreign aid was cut to nations and agencies, like UNRWA and the PA, that were either wasteful or hateful, and always ungrateful.

Now they tiptoe around her.

Depending on who replaces her, the UN will never be the same again. She will have left her mark…and a triumphant mark it is. Tough shoes to fill…

…One of a kind. Pray that there is another. INN Jack Engelhard

Yes indeed, we pray for another godly person to be our UN Ambassador.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NLT

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Israelis Ecstatic

22 01 2018

US Embassy moving to Jerusalem next year. Vice President Pence, the first VP to address the Israeli Knesset (Parliament), announced the move will take place before the end of 2019. This is ahead of the three or four years previously projected. This is the President’s decision to save time and millions of dollars by converting the Jerusalem US Consulate instead of new construction. President Trump has scoffed at the millions spent and years taken for the new London US Embassy.

Here are important links about Pence’s Israeli visit this week.

At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of Yehovah, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of Yehovah, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts. Jeremiah 3:17

US Embassy: Recognition of Reality – X4

6 12 2017

Old city street 7-17

Praise God for President Trump keeping his promise to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish people. Here are my four prophetic observations that you won’t see in the secular news.

  1. It’s not about Israel, it’s about the United States. Although Israel is rejoicing with today’s Presidential declaration, the real effect is God blessing the US because we are blessing Israel according to Genesis 12:3. We are recognizing the reality on the ground that Jerusalem has been Israel’s modern capital for 70 years , and in the Bible  for over 3,000 years, since King David’s original declaration.
  2. It’s not about Trump, it’s about God. I honor our President for keeping his word from the campaign. Our three previous presidents broke their promise to move the Embassy. But the real credit belongs to God who moved on President Trumps heart, who is simply obeying and carrying out the will of the God of Israel. Derek Prince, one of my mentors, used to say: When you and the Holy Spirit arrive at the same place, at the same time; it makes you look good.” The same applies to Trump’s promise to “drain the swamp”. I believe God is draining the corrupt and immoral swamp of modern American culture way beyond politics in DC. It is God’s doing and the fact that Trump gives voice to God’s purpose actually does make Trump look good, but it is happening because it is God’s timing for restoration.
  3. It does not kill the “peace process” which was already dead. The Arabs and Muslims have been opposing peace for 100 years, blocking every attempt. The most recent major push was the 1993 Oslo accords which have been a joke. How is that working out for you? It only brought suicide bombings and riots with Israel losing land in every “land for peace,” deal, that never brought peace. After 24 years it is time to pronounce that process dead. It is futile to impose the two-state concept for many practical reasons, but the final word is God’s. He has given the land to Israel; and all the nations of the world and all the demons of hell will not cancel out Yehovah’s eternal plan.
  4. Yehovah is raining on the “Days of Rage”. All the usual suspects are lining up to oppose the move with threats and a call for three days of rage. I had to laugh when a Fox News report a few minutes ago suggested that it is going to be cold and  rainy the next three days in Israel, which may reduce the demonstrations. Ha! Pray for rain!
O Yehovah, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthlessness and unprofitable things.” Will a man make gods for himself, which are not gods? “Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; And they shall know that My name is Yehovah. Jeremiah 16:19-21
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain!

Embassy Move Monday?

2 12 2017

O JerusalemAnd it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. Zechariah 12:3

Waiver was not signed yesterday. Friday, December 1, was the deadline to file the waiver to postpone moving the US Embassy for another six months. However, a technicality allows the signing as late as Monday. Reports from at least two inside White House sources suggest three possible choices.

President Trump could sign the waiver and pass the buck for six months. However, the report says he will either not sign it at all, which would require moving the Embassy, or sign it and then make a big announcement Wednesday.

The President may announce that the United States officially recognizes Jerusalem as  Israel’s capital. While that would be a monumental milestone, it would leave our Embassy in Tel Aviv. Yet, it would be a step in the right direction. The Arabs will react either way. Why not just do it all at once? Here are links to a few of the relevant articles.

Jerusalem Embassy Controversy

21 12 2016

jerusalemoct172016The United States has Embassies in 167 countries, but in only one country is our embassy NOT in that country’s capital city. Israel is the only one that the United States refuses an embassy in their capital. Our embassy is in Tel Aviv, not Jerusalem. Israel named Jerusalem as its capital in 1950, not to overlook that King David made it his capital over 3,000 years ago. All Jews have considered Jerusalem their capital for 3,000 years, whether they are in the land or scattered among the nations.

The US Congress passed a law in 1995 requiring our embassy be moved by 1999. However, a six month waiver included, allowed the President to waive the mandate. Each President has signed the waiver every six months for over sixteen years. But this year is different. President-Elect Trump insists that he will move our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Most Israelis rejoice with the prospect. Yet, extreme leftists and most nations are in a panic about the move. David Friedman’s nomination as US Ambassador to Israel further confirms Trump’s intention to follow through.

I maintain that the near future will see Israel annexing Judea and Samaria (the entire West Bank). This is the only option for peace. The two-state plan is dead. Hamas is gaining influence over the Palestinian Authority and Israel simply will not allow Hamas to take over the area.

Prophecy is clear that Israel will win the Psalm 83 War as their enemies fight one another. It is the same as the Midianites in Gideon’s day yielding total victory for Israel. Prophecy is also clear about the status of Jerusalem, which is why it is so important for us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. This is what the sovereign God of Israel says:

This message concerning the fate of Israel came from Yehovah: “This message is from Yehovah, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundations of the earth, and formed the human spirit. I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves. Zechariah 12:2 NLT
