Why should I care about Jerusalem? The answer lies in a prophecy made by God to the LAND of Israel over 2,500 years ago. God gave a spoken word assignment to the Biblical prophet Ezekiel. It was a strange command to “speak to the dirt!” Ezekiel was told to literally travel all over the land of Israel and speak verbally to the hills, the valleys, the fields and the streams. We know God made a promise to the people of Israel, but He also gave these unconditional promises to the Land.
Why would God command a man to speak to dirt? Yet “Prophesy!” is the command that the Lord Yehovah gave to Ezekiel. Its force is no less urgent today. End time prophecy regarding Israel is being fulfilled before our very eyes and the church needs to understand what God is doing in the Promised Land today.
The recent proclamation by President Trump for the United States to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital was followed by moving our Embassy to the city of God. This is indeed a turning point in world history as Yehovah God keeps His faithful promises in our day.
For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. Joel 3:1-2
A tremendous in-gathering of souls is taking place all over the world. This is even more significant when considering the physical and spiritual in-gathering of the Jewish people. In this book you will see how the events in Israel reflect the Fulfillment of God’s plan, the coming of the Messiah!
The spotlight of history is not held in man’s hand but in the hand of God. He is the Director of the Final Act – He will do precisely what he has always said he would do! (Les Lawrence from Speak to the Dirt! Now available on Kindle!)
