Blood Moon, Israel, and the U.S.

Election day morning in the U.S. is a blood moon total eclipse. Does this mean anything prophetically? The next total eclipse is not until March 14, 2025. Israel has just elected a new solid conservative Zionist government with Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister. Israel will not see the eclipse, but we will. I believe Israel has come out of the shadow of the moon which symbolically refers to the influence of Islam, which worships the moon god. A Muslim Brotherhood party was part of the failed “unity” government of the past year and a half, for the first time in modern Israel. This is over.

TWO TRENDS

I see two trends in the election victory for Biblical Zionists who believe the Land of Israel was given to the Jews by Yehovah God Himself. First, it fits with the global trend toward conservative values, and nationalism versus globalism. Second, young people voting conservative was a big part of the victory.

Israel election 2022

Both of these trends apply to the United States as well. I hope that the blood moon eclipse indicates that we are also coming out of the darkness and depression of the pandemic, corruption, and political strife. Does the timing of the blood red moon coincide with a red wave election here? Conservative family and national values are certainly the platform of one party. The divide between Republican and Democrat policy vision has never been more stark and clear. I am encouraging and urging everyone I know to get out and vote. It is our Biblical duty, as I shared last week.

“He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck Will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; But when the wicked rule, the people groan. … The king by justice makes the land stable, But he who takes bribes tears it down.”  Proverbs 29:1-2, 4 HNV

A few months ago I heard the Lord say He was raising up Samsons, who had been removed from their position by judgement, but through repentance and heart change were being restored. Netanyahu was one of those and I believe Trump is another, pending his response to the deep work of God in his heart. Pray for them both. They each have a place in God’s last day’s purpose.

Oh, and one more thing. Please listen to the Holy Spirit and then VOTE!

The God Who Raises Up Kings

28 10 2022

toda-vote-dayENG

Yehovah is the God who not only raises up kings but also removes kings. Israel will elect a new government in four days. America will do the same on November 8. It is our privilege and sacred duty to vote. Yet, even in our system, God is the One who decides who rules over us. He uses our votes or lack of voting in giving us the government He chooses. It is not fatalism, but Divine Providence. The mystery is that God’s will is somehow interlaced with our choice of who we vote for and indeed whether or not we vote at all.

“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”  Daniel 2:21

For Bible believers, it is shameful to not vote. Every cycle there are millions of believers who fail to vote. It would literally turn the tide for righteousness if we would seek God and vote accordingly. It is higher than politics. It is our obedience to God. We know to pray for our leaders, but after prayer we must walk out our faith with the courage of our convictions. We do not live in a monarchy or dictatorship. Praise God! But, since we carry the power of the vote, we also carry the responsibility of the results. Here is the Scripture principle.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”  Proverbs 29:2

The choice has never been more stark between light and darkness, between righteousness and evil. One stands for death, child sacrifice, perversion, and licentiousness. The other, although not perfect, at least stands for family, God, and country. Furthermore one party is rapidly turning against Israel while the other has taken the lead in supporting Israel.

“Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on Yehovah’s side—come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.”  Exodus 32:25-26

Please vote!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and abundant rain.

I Voted

7 11 2016

I Voted With Stars Clipart

I prayed.

I studied.

I prayed.

I listened.

I prayed.

I debated.

I prayed.

And then, I voted.

I rejoice that Yehovah God is sovereign, and that He is a good, good Father. But, I am not a fatalist. Christians have a responsibility. This is because God created us with the ability to respond. We are accountable to Him for our response.

Fatalism says God does everything and we do not affect the outcome. I beg to differ. My choices directly affect my future. I chose to believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah and God has counted it to me for righteousness. I have made myriads of bad choices and suffered the consequences. My vote is not the end of the world, but at the end of the world I want my choices to line up with God’s will.

Therefore, after due diligence, I voted. Please vote tomorrow if you have not yet voted. The result is certainly in God’s hands, but He expects us to do our part. We will all experience the consequences together.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

Policy or Personality?

28 09 2016

“If you want to make America great again, seek the One who made America great the first time.” (Pastor Ken Lawrence),

My brother is pastor of River of Life Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. His statement sums up the heart of Christians everywhere. Our future is bigger than the candidates in the election. Typical politics make it about personality when it is always really about policy. Folks who opposed the leftist policy agenda of President Obama were accused of racism. The same agenda now touted by Hillary draws accusations of sexism. My prayer is that America will wake up to the “wrong track” reality of that agenda.

Democrats will win and democracy will lose, if we are distracted from’ policy. I challenge every believer reading this to consider the stated goals of the party platforms. One is rooted in Biblical values and the other has moved far left. As a Christian Zionist, Israel policy is at the top of my list. On Israel, the Republican Platform is the most pro-Israel in history, while the Democratic Platform is the most anti-Israel in history. But that is only one issue. Consider this clear comparison from LIFE SITE News.      (Click here for enlarged PDF)

YES! Pray, pray, pray, but VOTE! It is your Christian duty in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave! Many have fought and died for our voting privilege. Don’t squander it.

The Holy Spirit gave me a verse in February that I first thought was “exposing” Trump. It speaks of pride, arrogance, evil and a perverse mouth. However, I now believe it exposed at a far more insidious evil revealed by the full-throated policy of the Democratic Party. If you are a believer, and you have seriously studied the above chart; can you really vote for their platform? Are you voting for the person or the policy?

The fear of Yehovah is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. Never underestimate the power of your voice

Never underestimate the power of your voice

I stood in line at my local polling place this morning. In North Carolina, there is a strict no cell phones rule when inside the voting area, even if you are just standing in line. As such, I had the rare opportunity to look around and even communicated with some of the other voters in line. The volunteers were clearly anxious that there were such long lines, but to me it was thrilling.

Look at all these people here to vote! I just wanted to thank them all for showing up. And even though I don’t know every single detail of every single candidate on my ballot, I was overwhelmed with pride and gratitude that I showed up and would have my vote counted.

After a few minutes, a soldier in full uniform stood in the A-K line. I was in L-Z so we inched up at about the same pace. For a few minutes I let my mind wander throughout history, remembering those who fought for my freedom to use my voice, for those who continue to fight and for those who support them. I looked at his boots. They looked new. Had he been deployed yet? Would he be off somewhere soon? Is the woman with him his wife? Or his mother? I felt my cheeks start to warm and my eyes began to water. What a privilege. What a glorious freedom this man is giving to me. Me! That I get to have a job where I can work from home and care for my family. That I can own a home and learn about many other cultures just from my neighbors alone. That I get to have an impact on the leadership of this amazing country is just stunning when I sit back and consider the depth of what that means.

As a writer, I often use my words to express my feelings, my excitement and my random thoughts. For me, words tend to come naturally. Sometimes they touch others and sometimes they provide a needed release for me. Sometimes I stay quiet because I begin to wonder if my words are just noise. Sometimes I wonder if my voice matters.

Standing in that place today, I was reminded of true freedom. Freedom to think, freedom to act and freedom to disagree. It is an honor to cast my vote. It is my joy to use this voice.

As I left, the frazzled volunteer apologized again for the long wait. I simply said, “not a problem at all. It was worth it.” She replied, “I’m glad you feel that way. See you next time.”

And she will.

Don’t miss out on the chance to use your voice. You have all day!

(Okay, so I am a little biased. This article is from my youngest daughter’s blog. But I could not have said it better myself.)

The Voters Are Coming!

4 07 2012

Taxed Enough Already = TEA Party

Today’s Tea Party movement is the contemporary revival of the signal cause of the American Revolution. The original Boston Tea Party was a protest over an unfair tax on tea levied by the British on the fledgling American Colonies which eventually led to the Declaration of Independence. One of the most famous quotations of the era was “No taxation without representation.” It is ironic that nearly 240 years later that the largest set of taxes in history are to be levied through The Affordable Health Care Act, aka Obamacare. Also, it was enacted without having been read and with ignorance of its provisions.

REPLACE AND REPEAL – Following the disappointing ruling of the Supreme Court, the remaining remedy to avoid this catastrophic tax is to replace the government. Before we can repeal the law and replace it with a better plan (as in the Romney slogan: “Repeal and Replace”) we must first replace the Senators who were for it and elect a new President. My appeal is to all patriotic citizens to rise up now to aid our country’s liberty, regardless of your faith or political party.

Secondly, I appeal to Christians. There are some political issues that I may hold my nose and support out of party loyalty or ideology. However, there are certain red lines that violate my Biblical faith. I appeal to Christians to bring God into the voting booth, because our nation’s liberty is on the line.

1. I will not vote for one who opposes Israel.

2. I will not vote for one who supports abortion (see NOTE below.)

3. I will not vote for one who supports infanticide.

4. I will not vote for one who dismisses the Biblical view of homosexuality.

5. I will not vote for a liar, whether in campaigning or in autobiography.

6. I will not vote for one who violates the First Amendment (freedom of religion).

Finally, every vote counts. North Carolina was carried by Obama in 2008 by only 14,177 votes. It is time for Christians with a Biblical world view to stand up and vote. But before that, register. Some are not even registered! Please help encourage your family and neighbors to vote this November. It is time for Biblical believers to wake up, stand up and speak up for Godly leadership. We in America live in a representative republic, which means our actions (or inaction) affects our leadership. We must vote and pray!

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:1-5

(NOTE: Since 1973, 54 million American babies have been legally murdered in the safest place on earth, their mother’s womb. One hundred million have been born, leaving one-third of our posterity MIA! 27 million of those aborted were female. Talk about a war on women?!)
