After Israel Has Returned To Their Land

Now that Hamas has been defeated, there is discussion about “the day after.” However, let us take a step back and look at the big picture. First, in Gaza, Israel will stay and insure safety and demilitarization. There is no turning back to terrorist control. It’s over. Israel won! 

But God has a master plan of regathering all the exiles of Israel from all over the earth, with a few million more to come. It is happening every day, but what about “the day after” the return and restoration? What will Israel look like then? Here are just a few of His promises after they returned, highlighted in bold from Jeremiah 31. 

“Hear the word of Yehovah, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ​‘​He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ ​​For Yehovah has redeemed Jacob and ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. ​​Therefore, they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, streaming to the goodness of Yehovah. ​​For wheat and new wine and oil, for the young of the flock and the herd; their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all.”

​​“Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old, together; for I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them, and make them rejoice rather than sorrow. ​​I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says Yehovah.”  Jeremiah 31:10-14

This is quite the list – Gather, keep, redeem, ransom, sing, well-watered soul, no sorrow, rejoice in dance, abundance, and satisfaction with God’s goodness!

While in the heat of battle and intensity of attacks, remember the God of Israel. Christians worship the same God Yehovah. There is personal application for us also, as we discern great fear, distress, and dread hanging over America like a cloud. Even for us, in spite of the election pressures, God is on the Throne. He has a purpose and promises for believers personally and also for our nation. Do we deserve His judgement? Of course we do. However, He may not quite be finished with our nation. I pray for His mercy, not justice. I don’t want to get what we deserve. I pray that we will be a sheep nation who remains faithful to Him at the last. Let us be merciful with the character of our loving Father God.

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”  James 2:13

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and victory over her enemies. And remember to VOTE THE BIBLE!

Surprising Iran/Yom Kippur

Friday sundown is the start of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement for Jews. It is a time of sober repentance and soul searching. This year Israel is preparing a devastating response to Iran’s attacks of April 13 and October 1. They sent over 500 ballistic missiles at the sovereign state of Israel in an unprovoked attack simply because the Ayatollah hates Jews. This was more ballistic missiles fired than any time in history. Only by Israel’s defenses and the miracle protection of Yehovah God did Israel escape with no fatalities.

Saturday is a double Shabbat, so I don’t expect Israel to attack before Sunday. However, Israel’s Defense Minister Gallant warned of a surprise so pay attention and pray! He says Iran won’t know what happened or how it happened! Wow! Stay tuned.

Gallant: “When we respond, Iran won’t know what happened or how it happened” – Defense Minister Gallant says during a visit to the Intelligence Directorate: “The Iranian attack was aggressive but imprecise, our response will be powerful, precise and surprising.”

You may think that is bravado, except in the context of the beeper and walkie-talkie hit on Hezbollah last month. Israel has been preparing for Iran for over 20 years. Iran simply cannot be allowed to have nukes and they are on the brink by all reports. Add to this the fact that Yehovah has promised His protection. Already many are saying this Israeli turn around from one month ago is historic. It is compared to the 1948 miracle victory, and the miraculous Six Day War defeat of five Arab armies with the Hand of God. 

Remember I have been saying for several years that this is not Iran’s prophetic time. They will be prominent in the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. There must be a time of peace preceding that war beyond anything yet experienced by modern Israel. (Please, just carefully read Ezek. 38:1-11 describing Israel’s extraordinary peace at the time of that invasion.)

What seemed impossible a month ago is now happening. We are seeing the defeat of the Iranian terror proxies Hamas and Hezbollah and the others. This leaves Iran at their most vulnerable since 1979. One more thing to watch is the destruction of Damascus of Isaiah 17. It could be imminent.

If I am right, and if Trump wins, expect Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords by the end of March, along with several other countries. I am not prophesying, just connecting the dots. Let’s watch and pray together. God has helped throughout Israel’s history as seen here:

“Moreover, Uzziah prepared for all the army shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows and sling stones. In Jerusalem he made engines of war invented by skillful men to be on the towers and on the corners for the purpose of shooting arrows and great stones. Hence his fame spread afar, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.”  2 Chronicles 26:14-15 NASB 1995

God supplied “engines of war invented by skillful men.” Does this sound like Israel today? Pray for God’s hand in the defense of Israel. He did not regather them from 150 countries to nuke them. 

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”  Romans 8:31

Are You Paying Attention to the Bridges?

Are your bridges getting blown up or washed away? If you haven’t noticed, everything is shaking, everything is changing. Acceleration! It is happening so fast, it is head-spinning. Every year or two a game-changer type event would take place. Now it is every week, or every day it seems. Here is just one week: Hurricane Helene kills over 200 (and rising) and destroys scores of bridges (along with entire villages). Netanyahu speaks to the UN and Israel eliminates the 32 year leader of Hezbollah, the world’s most deadly terrorist group. Iran fires 200 ballistic missiles at Israel as the IDF enters Lebanon and Israel prepares to attack Iran. All of this as we observe the Feast of Trumpets and Rosh Hashanah on the Biblical calendar. The bridges to past norms are gone. Only God’s word is unchangeable. Acceleration, pedal to the metal time! We are through the nine month gestation and into the last of the birth pangs. The birth of a new Kingdom is imminent.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.  “Matthew 24:7-8 ESV

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”  Hebrews 12:25-29

Yet, with this all happening we must remain steadfast in faith. We still have a job to do. We are not sitting on a roof with white robes waiting. This is a time for activation. Those who know Yehovah God will function in dysfunctional times and situations. Preach the Gospel. Help your neighbor. Stand for righteousness in the public square. Intercede for Israel’s victory in Yehovah’s purposes. For many it is overwhelming, but we are not overcome. We must hold fast our faith.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…”  2 Corinthians 4:7-8

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”  Revelation 12:11-12

Are you dwelling in the heavens or the earth? We can live in spiritual overcoming victory even in the midst of earthly terror and turmoil. This last verse is not about future but about overcoming in the present, in spite of everything shaking. The Holy Spirit is with us if we live or die. He is our comforter. Verse eleven starts with “they overcame him,” not “they were overcome.” We can overcome. We will overcome the devil’s purpose. We have read the end of the Book, we win!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for those still fighting in the Carolina mountains, and pray for victory over all of God’s enemies.

Not Iran’s Prophetic Time

Media is anticipating a major war with Israel and Iran but I am not convinced. Events are more accurately viewed by Scripture and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. There may be a war, but Iran must lose because it is not her prophetic time. I speak this with conviction from Bible prophecy. My beloved mentor, Earl Waterman, often said: : I’m not a prophet or a prophet’s son, but I’ll do the prophesying till the prophet comes.” Having been a pastor/shepherd most of my life, the Lord Jesus has moved my assignment to speak about God’s faithfulness to Israel. I identify with Brother Earl and also with Amos.

But Amos replied, “I’m not a professional prophet, and I was never trained to be one. I’m just a shepherd, and I take care of sycamore-fig trees. But Yehovah called me away from my flock and told me, ‘Go and prophesy to my people in Israel.’”  Amos 7:14-15 NLT

Iran is destined to collapse in the near future. Since I discovered the juxtaposition of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38; it has been clear that Iran must diminish for a time. Israel must come into an extraordinary peace before the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. There are two compelling Biblical reasons for this.

#1 – Both prophecies name specific countries around Israel. But, none of those named in Psalm 83 are repeated in Ezekiel 38. Why? I believe the Abraham Accords will continue to expand creating real peace with all of Israel’s immediate Arab neighbors. (See Isaiah 19.) Therefore, the timing issue requires a substantial period of peace before Gog and Magog. Also, Ezekiel 38 is clear (several times) that the invasion occurs when Israel has taken down the walls which now dot the landscape, especially around Jerusalem, and they are dwelling without gates in “a land of unwalled villages.”

#2 – Iran/Persia is not named in Psalm 83, but is a major player with Turkey in Ezekiel. Therefore, Iran must diminish or collapse in the present. It is simply not their time yet. They will not expand at this time, but their time will come later. I have been predicting the diminishing of Iran for several years. It is now becoming evident.

Experts are now suggesting major faults in many areas of the Iranian regime. It may fall the same way the Soviet Union fell in the 90’s. The Ayatollah is reportedly near death and the government is very shaky. The economy is collapsing. Israel is poised to eliminate the nuclear threat as soon as necessary. In addition, there are more than five distinct minorities in Iran that are plotting a coup against the Ayatollah. Only about half of Iran’s population is Persian. The rest are various ethnic minorities such as Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Azeris, and others. For more on this watch a two minute interview with Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a Mideast expert from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. It starts at about 5:40 into the video.

As the Arab nations make peace there are still terrorist groups that must also disappear including Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, the Houtis in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. These will fall from within according to the prayer of Psalm 83.

Deal with them as with Midian, Psalm 83:9

Gideon’s victory over the Midianites was because Yehovah caused a terror to sweep over them and they killed each other in the confusion. That is the prayer of Psalm 83 for today’s enemies of Israel. Let it be done according to God’s word!

Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yehovah our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. Psalm 95:6-7 NLT

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Yehovah himself watches over you! Yehovah stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121:3-5 NLT

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray that the leaders will hear and obey the voice of Yehovah God.. Also, pray for the salvation of Jew and Arabs alike.

Never Again Uprooted

When is never again? A key to prophecy is to notice the timing words. Some promises are given a certain time for fulfillment. I often refer to Psalm 102 as the Holocaust Psalm because it so graphically describes the actual historic Holocaust of the 1940’s. Verse 13 in that Psalm then firmly states that “Now is the time to favor Zion.” We then see it exactly fulfilled with Israel restored as a nation right after the Holocaust. The photo of Israeli grapes is proof of the accuracy of the Bible. So, here is another prophecy with specific timing.

“I will bring my exiled people of Israel back from distant lands, and they will rebuild their ruined cities and live in them again. They will plant vineyards and gardens; they will eat their crops and drink their wine. I will firmly plant them there in their own land. They will never again be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says Yehovah your God.”  Amos 9:14-15

After nearly 2,000 years of exile and wandering among the nations, God has regathered His people to their own land of Israel. This is an historical miracle. No other nation can claim such. There is no other historic exile and regathering. There is only one. This is the one Amos prophesied. Notice the precise steps fulfilled.

  1. Bring back from distant lands.
  2. Rebuild cities.
  3. Live in those cities.
  4. They will plant.
  5. They will eat their crops.
  6. God will firmly plant them IN THEIR OWN LAND!
  7. They will NEVER AGAIN BE UPROOTED!

What part of “never again” don’t you get? All the nations may oppose. All the demons of hell will fight against it. But, you can take Yehovah God’s word to the bank. They will never again be uprooted. We had better stake our beliefs on God’s word than believe fears and threats from the enemy. There is a certain time in history when God regathers His exiled people and we are living in that fulfillment.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Pray for God’s favor, protection and blessing in the present attacks on Israel. Pray for wisdom for the leaders of Israel. Pray that America will stand with Israel.

BEFORE Deliverance is Belief

BEFORE Moses could lead his people out of Egyptian slavery, they were required to believe. Before the ten plagues, the Israelites had to believe God through Moses. Belief comes first. Yet, God was willing to confirm His Divine plan of deliverance with personal signs. Exodus 4 is an overlooked part of the Exodus account. Before the famous plagues, Israel had to believe. Yehovah gave them two signs to confirm that He was with Moses.

First, He changed the rod of Moses into a snake and back again. This hearkened back to the Garden showing authority over the serpent, Satan. It also specifically applied to the Pharaohs’ snake god worn on his headdress. God revealed He had authority over Egypt’s gods. Yehovah revealed Himself as El Shaddai.

Second, God also turned Moses’ hand to leprosy and then healed it. This sign indicated that Yehovah would heal and protect His people even through suffering. He revealed Himself as Yehovah Rafah, “I am Yehovah who heals you.”

“Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel. And Aaron spoke all the words which Yehovah had spoken to Moses. Then he did the signs in the sight of the people.”  Exodus 4:29-30

Notice that this gathering of the elders of Israel was before Moses went to Pharaoh. God was merciful to give these signs to His own, before the ten plagues even started. The people had to be on board before their deliverance. They had to believe first. This is still true today for our salvation and deliverance from sin. We are required to believe.

“So the people believed; and when they heard that Yehovah had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.”  Exodus 4:31

So we also humble our selves and worship our Savior and Messiah Jesus. He is Yehovah ben Yeshua!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and total victory in Gaza. Pray that the people will believe in God for their deliverance first.

Three Circles

I see three circles drawn around Israel. The inner circle comprises the countries that geographically touch Israel named in Psalm 83. The next larger circle is the countries listed in Ezekiel 38. The third and largest circle represents all the rest of the world. In Yehovah God’s view, Israel is the center of the world, the apple of His eye. We are now seeing the final prophesied battles. Specific countries are named in Psalm 83 & Ezekiel 38. Yet, they are two different lists with no overlapping. The Ps. 83 War is almost complete, ending in a time of extraordinary peace described in Ezek. 38.

In Matthew 25, Jesus reveals the standard of national judgement for the remaining countries. Each country will finally be judged by its alignment either for or against Israel. I believe they are the “sheep and goat” nations to which Jesus referred in Matthew 25.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’”  Matthew 25:31-36

The familiar end of this passage explains that “they” are judged on how they treated the least of His brothers. I know this is usually applied to individuals and whether or not they help the poor or visit prisoners, but the context is clear. Jesus is judging entire nations by this standard. While not ruling out the popular interpretation, we must at least allow the literal contextual reading. There will be sheep and goat nations! I pray, as a US citizen, that our nation will stand with Israel and be blessed to find our nation as a sheep nation on His right hand on judgment day. It is an absolutely basic premise throughout the Scriptures found clearly stated here:

“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”  Genesis 12:2-3

This “boomerang principle” cannot be cancelled. It is God’s unbroken promise since Genesis. He is the God who cannot lie. His word is true. All others are liars. Yehovah God is faithful. We can only choose blessing or curse. And as for me and my house, we will serve Yehovah and His Son Yeshua, the Lamb of God and Messiah, who takes away the sins of the world.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, wisdom for the leaders, protection of the troops and salvation for both Jews and Arabs, as well as all who call on His name!

Give Isis a State?

Why not give Isis a state? They have the same ideology of Hamas. Several countries (Spain, Ireland, and Norway) announced unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state. Eighty per cent of Palestinians support Hamas. At no time did Isis murder, rape, and behead 1,200 civilians in a single day. Yet, Palestinians who celebrated the October 7th massacre are rewarded with a state. There is no history of a state called Palestine. They are simply Arabs from surrounding countries to Israel. All the residents of the land were called Palestinians in the 20th Century. Look closely at the poster attached to this blog post. This was a Jewish Zionist poster calling to free “Palestine” from British rule. Even Jews used the term which had been applied by the Romans in 135 AD in order to wipe out the name of Israel, which has been Satan’s goal in every generation.

“They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”  Psalm 83:4

Add to this the fact the nations are honoring the death of the President of Iran who was known as the “butcher of Tehran.” Iran is the most evil terror sponsor among all the nations. Even the U.S. stood in remembrance. We are living in an upside down world. Would America have stood for a moment of silence for Hitler or Stalin? The message is that terrorism works!

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”  Isaiah 5:20

“In transgressing and lying against Yehovah, and departing from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. ​​Justice is turned back, and  righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. ​​So truth fails, ​​and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.​ ​​Then Yehovah saw it, and it displeased Him ​that there was no justice.”  Isaiah 59:13-15

In spite of the goat nations of the world agreeing to wipe out Israel, Yehovah God’s eternal promise will prevail. His word is truth! Truth is a person, Jesus, our Messiah. Pray for the blinders to fall off and the truth be revealed.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, wisdom for Netanyahu, protection for the troops, and for total victory over Hamas!

24 IDF Soldiers Die in One Day

A tragic incident yesterday in Gaza led to 21 killed in a building collapse; while three others died in battle. It is a sad reminder to keep praying for the troops. Far away in America politics captures the headlines, but the war in Gaza goes on. God has promised to defend Israel from her enemies; but still we need to stand in the gap and pray. The enemy is relentless; but Yehovah is faithful.

24 IDF soldiers killed in deadliest day since start of Gaza combat – Twenty-one troops died in a building collapse, three others in battle. Around 4 p.m. terrorists fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a tank securing the forces. At the same time, two two-story buildings collapsed as a result of an explosion while most of the troops were inside or near them. The blast was apparently caused by explosives planted by the Israeli forces, intended to destroy the buildings in a controlled event.

One report explained that the two buildings would normally have been destroyed from the air. But Israel is conserving it missiles in case they are needed in Lebanon. We need to pray that Senator Schumer will release the funds that have already been voted for Israeli armament resupply from the U.S.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. ​​I will say of Yehovah, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; ​​My God, in Him I will trust.’ ​​Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. ​​He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; ​​​​His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:1-4

His truth shall be your shield! This is our promise from God. The demonic enemy is determined to “steal, kill, and destroy,” but God is faithful to keep us in His hand. We may lose a battle, but God wins the war according to His truth. This applies to Israel and nations, but He also gives that promise to us as individual believers.

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for Yehovah your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”  Deuteronomy 31:6

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, protection for the troops and rain for the land.

God Has a Plan: Only God

Jews have suffered many calamities in their 4,000 year history and yet they are still here today! The October 7th massacre killed over 1,200 Israelis, the worst since the WWII Holocaust. How do they continue to exist with nations and terrorists committed to their destruction? Only Yehovah God. He has made unconditional promises to them and He always keeps His word.

The Judean desert is blossoming in this picture. There is an amazing prophecy from Jeremiah that gives us this promise. Jeremiah’s contemporary context was the impending Babylonian captivity, but the promise goes way beyond his day. Look at the phrase in this passage that says God will scatter them but regather them. “Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them…” This promise is not limited to Jeremiah’s day. Babylon was only one country, but there would also be a regathering from all the countries.

“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul. For thus says Yehovah: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.’”  Jeremiah 32:37-42

God is now turning the hearts of His people back to Him. He is putting “the fear of God” in them. Before October 7th they put their trust in their great army, but it failed them. They are asking what happened? Only God can save them. They will finally come to this conclusion because God says they will. Stay tuned. Don’t lose heart. Pray into the promises of Yehovah through His Son, Yeshua. God is faithful!

Do You Believe the Bible?

This is a shocking headline: “73% Of US Christians Say The Bible Doesn’t Influence Their Views On Israel.” Prophecy News Watch That is why I use the phrase “Bible believing Christians.” If you don’t believe the Bible you are not a believing Christian. You are a cultural or national or ethnic Christian, but not a believer. They have “another gospel” according to the Apostle Paul.

“But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”  Galatians 1:8

Only 27% of “Christians” in the Lifeway Research survey chose the Bible as an influence of their view of Israel. 56% chose media as there choice. Even worse, only 17% of “Christians” chose the Bible as their primary source. Again, the media was more influential. “Only about a quarter of American Christians say the Bible influences their views on Israel as the Israel-Hamas war continues after the Oct. 7 attack on civilians in southern Israel killed over 1,200 and prompted an Israeli military offensive in Gaza.” PMW

Let’s remember that the Bible was breathed into text by the living God.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17

Are you really going to believe the media over the God of the Bible? The Greek word for “inspiration” literally means: “divinely breathed in:—given by inspiration of God.” There is no source or authority to trust more than God Himself! You may be aware that pro-Israel Christians, i.e. Christian Zionists are Bible believers. When you move away from the Scriptural authority you are adrift in humanism. Incidentally, this is also true of Jews. Many American Jews are actually standing against Israel with Hamas. Those are Jews who do not believe the Bible. The wonderful thing is that Arabs who believe the Bible are pro-Israel. (If you want a great Gazan Arab testimony of an ex terrorist assassin, watch this December 21 interview with Joel Rosenberg.)

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”  Hebrews 4:12

A proper paraphrase of the first part is: The Bible is alive, and it is energy! The Greek word for powerful is literally “energēs” from which we get our English word: “energy.” Those “Christians” who do not believe and live by the Bible are missing out on the energy of the Holy Spirit. I pray that you believe God’s divinely breathed word and stand 100% with Israel in these days of prophetic destiny. Mark Twain Israel Prophecy

The Gaza war casts a dark shadow over the land of Israel today, but we must insist that God views it differently. What does He see? How does today’s war move the arrow toward the promised purpose for the promised land? Consider the amazing prophecy about Mark Twain in the book of Deuteronomy.

“…so that the coming generation of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, would say, when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which Yehovah has laid on it: ‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yehovah overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’ All nations would say, ‘Why has Yehovah done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’”  Deuteronomy 29:22-24

Mark Twain (aka Samuel Clemens) visited Israel (then called Palestine) in September of 1867. The Hebrew meaning of the name “Samuel Clemens” is: “God has heard and has been merciful.” His remarkable description of the desolation of the land is recorded in his famous book, Innocents Abroad.

“Mark Twain, who visited the land of Israel in 1867 (referred to as Palestine at the time), described Israel as a “…desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds—a silent mournful expanse… We never saw a human being on the whole route… There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”  

“Half a century after Twain’s visit, the Balfour Declaration was issued in 1917. Fifty years later the Six Day War was won. And today, in 2017 – 50 years after that – Israel continues to flourish, moving in leaps and bounds away from Twain’s “sackcloth and ashes.”  Jerusalem Post

I conclude that Mark Twain’s visit in a Jubilee Year was the exact fulfillment of Deuteronomy 29. Seeing these events connected each 50 year cycle reveals the larger picture of Yehovah’s predetermined plan of restoration for Israel. He needed a witness to the whole world of the devastation so His miraculous healing of the land would shine in contrast. The glory of God can now be seen. Yes, there are terrible events such as the Gaza war along the path. But the greater glory is relentlessly unfolding as Yehovah keeps His word of the SET TIME of His favor and blessing. The Messiah Yeshua will only come in the restoration:

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”  Acts 3:19-21

Pray for the peace and restoration of Jerusalem and abundant rains.

Refusing the Truth

Why is there confusion and delusion regarding the present Gaza war? Some even accuse Israel of creating a false flag event as a pretext to invade Gaza. This is easily refuted by clear facts. How do people believe the outrageous lies accusing Israel? The answer is that they are deceived. Then, amazingly, God Himself “sends them strong delusion” so that they will believe the lie! We have a deeper explanation for the deception revealed in 2 Thessalonians.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,”  2 Thessalonians 2:9-13

The core issue is basic truth. Lawless ones are deceived because they don’t love truth. This then locks them into delusion by God’s own decree. It is the inevitable result of rejecting the truth. For example, here are a few truths that are refused by the deceived.

  1. Hamas Charter calls for the total annihilation of the Jews, not land for peace.
  2. The slogan of “River to the Sea” is likewise a call for the genocide of Israel.
  3. Some actually claim Hamas did not attack civilians, easily refuted by their own GoPro cameras recording the beheadings, rapes, and murders while literally boasting as they do it. They “had pleasure in unrighteousness”.
  4. Israel is accused of apartheid, but that is easily debunked by visiting the land and seeing Arab/Jewish integration at all levels of society. Nearly 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs and are better off than most civilians in Arab countries. Arabs are serving in the IDF liberating Gazans from Hamas oppression.
  5. Israel is accused of killing babies without evidence, while Hamas videos prove they kill babies.
  6. Overwhelming documentation of Hamas intentionally targeting civilians for sixteen years, while Israel does all it can to avoid civilian casualties. Israel drops leaflets and gives cell phone warnings of exact targets before attacking.
  7. Hamas is guilty of double war crimes by both attacking civilians and then using their own Gazan civilians as human shields.

Remember this is all a product of lawlessness, and God responds by locking the lawless into their delusions. He clearly says it is because they do not love the truth. Do you love the truth? Do you dig deeper past the headlines and find the truth?

Gaza wars: 2008 – Operation Cast Lead. 2012 – Operation Pillar of Defense. 2014 – Operation Protective Edge. 2023 Operation Swords of Iron. So, this is the fourth Gaza war. As I said before, God declared the true outcome of this fourth Gaza operation through the Biblical prophet Amos:

Thus says Yehovah: ​​“For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, ​​I will not turn away its punishment, ​​Because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom. ​​But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, which shall devour its palaces.  Amos 1:6-7

Let God Arise!

This week has been a time of deep intercession for Israel. This is what I have heard from the Holy Spirit. Please join me in praying for God’s supernatural protection and purpose for Israel as they deal with the demonic Hamas terrorist scourge.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: … a time of war, and a time of peace.”  Ecclesiastes 3:1 & 8

“Let God arise,
​​Let His enemies be scattered;
​​Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.
As smoke is driven away,
​​So drive them away;
​​As wax melts before the fire,
​​So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
But let the righteous be glad;
​​Let them rejoice before God;
​​Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.
​
Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
​​Extol Him who rides on the clouds,
​​By His name YAH,
​​And rejoice before Him.
​
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
​​Is God in His holy habitation.
God sets the solitary in families;
​​He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
​​But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”  Psalm 68:1-6

Today’s Gaza Attack in the Bible

Israel at war: At least 300 killed, dozens kidnapped, over 1,500 injured – Over 3,000 rockets fired towards Israel; Hamas kidnaps dozens of hostages in Be’eri and Ofakim. (Update Sunday: over 600 killed!)

This is a Saturday evening report, Eastern Time. You have probably heard of the terror invasion of Israel from Gaza, but there is a relevant Scripture that I want you to consider and pray over from the prophet Amos.

“Thus says Yehovah: 
​​“For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, ​​I will not turn away its punishment, because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom. ​​But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, which shall devour its palaces.”  Amos 1:6-7
I see four distinct aspects in this prophecy.
1. “I will not turn away its punishment.” (after the fourth transgression.) There have been four Gaza wars since the ill-advised withdrawal of Israeli rule (for Peace!) in 2005. The above text may indicate that this new attack will involve the destruction of Gaza as a walled-off separate entity.
2. “took captive the whole captivity.” A unique feature today is the taking of many captive hostages (over a hundred?)
3. “But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza,” This speaks of the destruction of Hamas and possible re-introduction of Israeli rule, thus needing no wall.
4. “​​which shall devour its palaces.” This speaks not only of the defeat of Hamas rule, but specifically eliminating Hamas leaders. The only people in Gaza with palaces are the evil terrorist leaders.
You may recall that the very name “Hamas” chosen by the terrorists themselves, comes directly from the Hebrew language and the Hebrew Bible and is translated “violence”. It is an Arabic acronym forming the Hebrew and English word Hamas which means : VIOLENCE! as a means of invoking terror by simply saying their name. The Hebrew word hamas is found in such passages as this from the days of Noah:
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.”  Genesis 6:11-12
The heinous machine gun slaughter of civilians on the streets of Israel, including women and children, is the same demonic spirit of violence (hamas). There is nothing new; this is the battle of the ages. The ancient principalities are still trying to overthrow the Kingdom of God and His salvation for sinful man. But we have read the end of the Book and we win. Israel wins. Because Yehovah God and the Messiah Yeshua are alive to keep every promise. Not one promise of God will fail. Satan has been stripped of his authority. Jesus has all authority!
Therefore we pray that God will finish the work in Gaza. We have reached the “four war limit” prophesied by Amos over 2,700 ears ago. Let’s agree together that this will be the last war with Gaza!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for sweet abundant rains in Israel this year.

Netanyahu’s Victory and Tabernacles

Sundown tonight is the start of the Feast of Tabernacles. 30,000 Christians are in Israel celebrating with the Israelis. Beginning with Moses’ tabernacle, God revealed His desire to live among men. This was fulfilled in Yeshua as Immanuel, God with us.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14

Some translations say: “He took up residence among us.” or “He tabernacled among us.”

All of these prophetic events in our day point to Yehovah God keeping His word. I believe Netanyahu’s speech to the UN last week was another step of God’s restoration of Israel. Consider this commentary from the Israeli cartoonist Yaakov Kirschen:

“What was to be a humiliating trip to the U.S. for Netanyahu (long uninvited to the White House) was somehow finessed into a kind of victory tour. The opening event with Elon Musk was a triumph, and potentially, was the birth of a new partnership to face the challenges and opportunities of the fast-evolving future of Artificial Intelligence. The Prime Minister’s UN speech was classic Bibi. When asked about “Normalization” with the Saudis, Netanyahu assured interviewers that it was a sure thing. And he did so with such a twinkle in his eye that I wondered if an agreement between Bibi and MBS had already been reached, in secret.”  Dry Bones

Many Christians have not seen that Saudi Arabia will be on Israel’s side in the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38:13. Sheba and Dedan are in modern Saudi Arabia. Note this comment from Israeli believer and Bible teacher Amir Tsarfati.

“Every time a new peace deal for Israel is on the horizon, fake news on a seven year treaty is spread by irresponsible biblically illiterate people. The normalization with Saudi Arabia is going to fulfill prophecy, but what it fulfills is much different than the one regarding the antichrist. It will fulfill the need for Sheba and Dedan to be on the criticizing side of the Ezekiel 38 invasion to Israel rather than to be part of it.”

When the Saudis join the Abraham Accords it will bring an era of peace between Israel and the Arabs that is necessary before the Gog and Magog invasion. Today’s news is literally the Bible fulfilled. Selah.

Next Week in Jerusalem

So, we fly Tuesday to Israel and begin our tour. Most of our 37 member group are going for the first time. It is so exciting to witness the revelation of our faithful God that each one experiences in His holy land. It is the land of promise; and to see it in person seems to affirm and confirm His covenant on an intimate level, while equally glimpsing the big picture glory of God’s plan.

Millions of Jews from 160+ countries have become Israelis overnight just by moving to His land. I have been stirred by the Holy Spirit for many years with the prophecy of Ezekiel 36. Yehovah commanded him to literally “speak to the dirt,” to prophesy to the geographical land itself. Read it and enjoy the ancient promises that are now fulfilled before our eyes!

We are in the period of restoration that the prophets foretold. God’s people got their land back, their nation back, and they got their language back. Hebrew was not spoken as a mother tongue for over a thousand years. In addition they regained sovereignty over their capital city, Jerusalem. God turned the page from judgement to favor in a day in 1948. I teach how Psalm 102 prophetically describes the Holocaust and then makes this profound declaration of one of greatest hinges of history. The amazing turning point is announced in verse 13, which declares the set timing of God’s fulfillment, following the horrors of the Holocaust.

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come.”  Psalm 102:13

Few prophecies are as clearly seen in actual history in this generation. There is no ambiguity here. The Psalm and the events of recent history are perfectly aligned. Read Psalm 102 yourself. I can’t get away from the thrilling revelation of that prophecy. Verse 18 also reveals the timing, but you have to go to the Hebrew text for clarity. English translations say the Psalm is written for “a future generation” or, “a generation to come.” But in Hebrew it is very specific and literally says: “for the last generation.” This is now, folks. We are living in the last generation.

“This will be written for the generation last, (literal Hebrew) that a people yet to be created may praise Yehovah.”  Psalm 102:18

Every time I go to Israel I am overwhelmed with the faithfulness of Yehovah God. It is the miracle of God keeping His word to a thousand generations. You see it, and even touch it, when you travel to Israel for yourself. Please pray for our journey that each new person will experience that joy!

“But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”  2 Corinthians 1:18-20

Just as Yeshua (Jesus) is the fulfillment of all the Messianic prophesies, Israel is the fulfillment of the literal land covenant prophesies. They are intertwined, inseparable threads of the majestic tapestry of God’s story of redemption. Thank you, Jesus!

Israel Good News

Media likes bad news, but a lot of good is happening in Israel. Here are a few links to recent reports that show the favor of the Lord on Israel. The name of Yehovah is on the line with Israel as He has promised over and over. My favorite is in what I call the Holocaust Psalm. After graphically describing the horrors of that prophetic event, He clearly reveals His timing! It is now “the set time” to favor Zion. Hallelujah!

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” Psalm 102:13

The Greater Exodus

Many Jews have returned to Israel in the last generation from over 160 countries. And yet there are millions still to come, especially from the United States. The doubling of anti-Semitic incidents here is fueling a new surge of immigration to Israel that will continue to expand. Most are still unaware of this trend, but it will become clear as more make the move. Inflation is also a factor as Israel is prospering and inflation is not as bad there. All of this is simply our faithful God fulfilling His promises to restore His people to their land. The result is a greater exodus than the deliverance from Egypt.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says Yehovah, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As Yehovah lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As Yehovah lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.” Jeremiah 23:7-8

The transition to a new Israeli government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu is a big boost to the trend and timing of God’s purpose to regather His people. The nations oppose it, but they are impotent in the face of the living God! Yehovah is the number one Zionist. That is why I refer to myself as a Christian Zionist. I am among the millions of evangelical Christians who see what God is doing and stand foursquare in agreement with Him. In Israel there are many liberals who are not Zionists and even oppose accepting more land as Yehovah has promised. But as for me and my house, we will serve Yehovah and Yeshua ben Yehovah, His son, Jesus the Messiah!

Netanyahu Predicts Massive Increase in Western Aliyah – “Israel’s economy is getting stronger; we will outpace the United States, and we have already outpaced Europe,” the Israeli prime minister said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told cabinet ministers that Israel will experience a massive increase in Aliyah (immigration) from Western countries, including the US.

A Second Exodus! – Pressure mounts on Christian teams helping Jews make Aliyah. Apocalyptic scenarios involving war and climate have captured the attention of the media. But rather less focus has been trained on Jewish refugees attempting to flee Russia and Ukraine after nearly a year of gruesome hostilities there.

Don’t be distracted by “apocalyptic scenarios” and miss the wonderful works of God in the earth. Even awful wars can be used by Him to regather His Chosen ones. Hallelujah, God is faithful!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the regathering, and for abundant rains to water the land!

More Fruit of Abraham Accords

We wait for the inevitable  joining of Saudi Arabia to the Abraham Accords, but even now there is much fruit. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are one of the original signers to the Accords, and have just made a truly remarkable announcement. They will begin teaching the Holocaust in both elementary schools and high schools. This follows the first Holocaust Museum in an Arab country in 2021 in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capitol.

United Arab Emirates to Become First Arab Country to Teach Holocaust History in Schools – Holocaust history will be added to the UAE school curriculum — making it the first Arab country to offer such an education. The UAE embassy in Washington credited these developments to the Abraham Accords, the landmark agreement negotiated by the Trump administration and signed by Bahrain, Morocco, and the UAE in September 2020. Bilateral trade between the UAE and Israel increased tremendously after the Abraham Accords, building strong economic ties on top of normalized diplomatic relations. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan visited the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem in September with three other Emirati ministers. Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan called it a “momentous occasion.” The Times of Israel (TOI) reported in November that work on a Holocaust curriculum for Emirati primary and secondary schools was underway after bin Zayed’s visit to Yad Vashem, completing a remarkable evolution for a country that once “blacked out Israel from world maps and globes.”  

More than all the immediate benefits and accomplishments of the Accords, ultimately I believe this is part of Yehovah’s plan to include Arabs in the salvation of Yeshua, our Messiah. When Arabs get saved they usually recognize God’s favor in the restoration of Israel. They are so blessed to find that they are “grafted in” to Israel. This is exactly Yehovah’s plan.

“Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves.”  Romans 11:11 NLT

This effect is seen world wide, but is most provocative when Israelis see their own neighbors entering into the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through Jesus. Ultimately its leads to the salvation of the Jews themselves. This is the “one new man” of Ephesians 2:11-18. Hallelujah!

Here is a fun story over the holidays. It is another example of God’s blessing on Israeli innovation. May you and your family be blessed and prosper as you celebrate Hanukkah and the birth of our Messiah! Shalom, shalom.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Israeli startup’s ‘flying car’ – What was once considered a futuristic science fiction concept might soon be commonplace as an Israeli-made vehicle designed to fly commuters on short trips far above the traffic-laden streets has made its maiden crewless flight. It may look like simply another drone takeoff featuring a propellered aircraft rising vertically off the ground and then thrusting forward high in the sky. But soon, this one – made by Israeli startup AIR – will be able to carry two people.

Israeli Startup Makes Inroads With Personal Flying Vehicle – Beersheva, Israel (Reuters) – An Israeli-made electric vehicle designed to fly commuters on short trips far above streets overcrowded with cars has made its maiden unmanned flight, a milestone the developer says will help it reach the market in the next two years.

God has promised Israel that He would bring favor to them at an appointed time. We now see that it is our generation. For eighteen hundred years Israel suffered the judgement of God. But, in 1948 after the Holocaust, God turned the page from judgement to favor and blessing. We have seen the miraculous rebirth of a nation and a people. Israel is enjoying unprecedented blessing and growth. And it is because of the faithfulness of Yehovah God.

“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; ​​For the time to favor her, ​​Yes, the set time, has come. ​​For Your servants take pleasure in her stones and show favor to her dust. ​​So the nations shall fear the name of Yehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. ​​For Yehovah shall build up Zion; ​​He shall appear in His glory.”  Psalm 102:13-16

70,000 New Israelis

Today is ALIYAH DAY in Israel, celebrating 70,000 new immigrants in the past year! That is the most in twenty years. Aliyah means “ascent” or the act of going up. It is used in the Bible in reference to going up to Jerusalem for the Feasts of Yehovah, three times a year for Passover, Pentecost (Shavuot), and for Tabernacles (Sukkot). No matter where you live in Israel you have to go up to get to Jerusalem on the mountain ridge.

Aliyah (Hebrew: עֲלִיָּה ʿălīyyā, lit. ’ascent’) is the immigration of Jews from the diaspora to, historically, the geographical Land of Israel, which is in the modern era chiefly represented by the State of Israel. Traditionally described as “the act of going up” (towards the Jewish holy city of Jerusalem), moving to the Land of Israel or “making aliyah” is one of the most basic tenets of Zionism. Wikipedia

This year approximately 35,000 Russian Jews and 20,000 Ukrainian Jews made aliyah. This is an example of how God advances his purpose even in war times. He is calling His people back to Israel from all over the world. It is one of the great miracles of our day! After 1800 years of scattering among the nations we are now seeing the regathering. “Hear the word of Yehovah, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ “ Jeremiah 31:10

Yom Ha’aliyah: Israel welcomes over 70 thousand immigrants since November 2021 – Over the past decade 6,440 physicians, 2,552 nurses, and 22,400 engineers moved to Israel and 22,000 immigrants enlisted in the IDF. In honor of the holiday, the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption released some interesting data about immigration to Israel. Over the past decade, over 22 thousand immigrants enlisted in the IDF; 15 thousand of them were considered lone soldiers whose parents are not in the country. In the past decade 6,440 physicians, 1,448 dentists, and 2,552 nurses made aliyah. In addition, around 22,400 engineers immigrated to Israel and 2,140 workers joined Israeli hi-tech with the Ministry’s help. 11,537 teachers immigrated to Israel.

“Fear not, for I am with you; ​​I will bring your descendants from the east, ​​ and gather you from the west; ​​I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ ​​and to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ ​​Bring My sons from afar, ​​ and My daughters from the ends of the earth—”  Isaiah 43:5-6

Blood Moon, Israel, and the U.S.

Election day morning in the U.S. is a blood moon total eclipse. Does this mean anything prophetically? The next total eclipse is not until March 14, 2025. Israel has just elected a new solid conservative Zionist government with Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister. Israel will not see the eclipse, but we will. I believe Israel has come out of the shadow of the moon which symbolically refers to the influence of Islam, which worships the moon god. A Muslim Brotherhood party was part of the failed “unity” government of the past year and a half, for the first time in modern Israel. This is over.

TWO TRENDS

I see two trends in the election victory for Biblical Zionists who believe the Land of Israel was given to the Jews by Yehovah God Himself. First, it fits with the global trend toward conservative values, and nationalism versus globalism. Second, young people voting conservative was a big part of the victory.

Both of these trends apply to the United States as well. I hope that the blood moon eclipse indicates that we are also coming out of the darkness and depression of the pandemic, corruption, and political strife. Does the timing of the blood red moon coincide with a red wave election here? Conservative family and national values are certainly the platform of one party. The divide between Republican and Democrat policy vision has never been more stark and clear. I am encouraging and urging everyone I know to get out and vote. It is our Biblical duty, as I shared last week.

“He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck Will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; But when the wicked rule, the people groan. … The king by justice makes the land stable, But he who takes bribes tears it down.”  Proverbs 29:1-2, 4 HNV

A few months ago I heard the Lord say He was raising up Samsons, who had been removed from their position by judgement, but through repentance and heart change were being restored. Netanyahu was one of those and I believe Trump is another, pending his response to the deep work of God in his heart. Pray for them both. They each have a place in God’s last day’s purpose.

Oh, and one more thing. Please listen to the Holy Spirit and then VOTE!

God is with Israel

The time is coming when ten people will grab the sleeve of one Jew and beg them to walk together with Yehovah God. Is this a proportional (10 to 1?) prophecy? I don’t know about that, but it tells a lot about the future of Israel. We know that He was with them in the past, but He is also with them in the future.

“This is what Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies says: In those days ten men from different nations and languages of the world will clutch at the sleeve of one Jew. And they will say, ‘Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’” Zechariah 8:23 NLT

Remember what Rahab, the prostitute, said when Joshua was entering the Promised Land? She immediately knew that God was with them and it was wise to join them in order to be blessed by their God.

and (Rahab) said to the men: “I know that Yehovah has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you. For we have heard how Yehovah dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for Yehovah your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. Joshua 2:8-11

These are two examples the fame of God reaching the ears of unbelievers. The literal “fear of the Lord” brought wisdom to Rahab. In the end times people will clamor for God’s blessing by physically traveling to Israel. In order for this prophecy to be fulfilled, the world will need to see and acknowledge that God is truly with Israel. This has begun with the miracle rebirth of the nation in 1948 and the reclaiming of Jerusalem in 1967. Millions of Jews are returning to their roots in Israel. From 600,000 Jews there in 1948 to over seven million in 2022. Israeli tourism is amazing, fulfilling God’s promises.

“This is what Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies says: People from nations and cities around the world will travel to Jerusalem. The people of one city will say to the people of another, ‘Come with us to Jerusalem to ask Yehovah to bless us. Let’s worship Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies. I’m determined to go.’ Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies and to ask for his blessing.” Zechariah 8:20-22

Even if you cannot travel to Israel, you can seek the blessing of the God of Israel. He has made it personal for each of us by offering the Messiah, His Son Yeshua. He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us that includes all His blessings. As the world watches God’s increasing favor on Israel and the Jewish people, they must recognize that God is with them.

I Need Ammunition, Not a Ride!

Courage is a rare commodity in today’s woke snowflake world. It is thrilling and inspiring to see the President of Ukraine standing up to the Russian invaders. Ukraine is an independent sovereign nation. When the U.S. offered to help him escape to safety, President Zelenskyy refused, rather declaring: “The fight is here, I need ammunition, not a ride.” Nothing exemplifies courage more than his stand. Contrast it to the leader of Afghanistan who immediately fled with suitcases of cash last year. I pray for courageous and righteous leaders to rise up around the world in these perilous times. Pure evil is rampaging over the earth, but Yehovah God knows those who are His. Stand for His righteous purpose!

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for Yehovah your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Make no mistake, this is a battle between good and evil with spiritual wickedness in high places. We all need courage. Have you ever thought how it starts? Courage is the root of the word: “encourage.” Something every one of us can do, is to encourage one another. Do you give courage to others or dis-courage them? The act of one leader could be the difference between a free Ukraine and slavery to Communism.

Last Tuesday, in my Issachar Forum meeting and YouTube video, I said that this is not the timing in Biblical prophecy for a world war. I believe we are moving into the time of an extraordinary peace in Israel that will cause them to conclude they are so safe that they will tear down their walls in the Land of Israel. This is the pre-condition to the Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog War that is generally overlooked. Just read that chapter and you can see that it literally says the walls will come down BEFORE that war. I pray that the unexpected fierce resistance of the Ukrainians will lead to de-escalation by Russia and a withdrawal of their troops.

One more prophetic fulfillment is happening, as seen in these headlines and the Scripture following:

NATO Sending Military Aid to Ukraine, Putin Reportedly Deploys Special Forces ‘Hunters’ to Target Kyiv Gov’t

Chechen special forces ‘hunters’ are unleashed in Ukraine to detain or kill Kyiv officials – and are given ‘decks of cards’ with photographs of their targets – A squad of Chechen special forces ‘hunters’ has been ordered to detain or kill specific Ukrainian officials. The kill squad was pictured in a Ukrainian forest as they took part in prayer rituals ahead of potential fighting. (my note: These are Muslim jihadists.)

“but, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers. “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says Yehovah, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.” Jeremiah 16:15-16

Pray for the 200,000 Jews who remain in Ukraine. God is calling them to Israel, just as the Russian Jews returned in the’90s. This is similar to the Nazi’s in World War II. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and thank Him for the faithful rains of water and the Holy Spirit.

Chosen People – Chosen LAND!

Most know that the Jews are God’s chosen people, but few realize how important His chosen land is to Yehovah God who promised. In the original promise of Genesis 12 where God spoke of the blessing and curse relating to Israel, He pointedly called seventy-five year old Abram to leave his own country and family to a specific land.

Now Yehovah had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s  house, to a LAND that I will show you.” Genesis 12:1

I wrote an entire book about the LAND promise (Speak to the Dirt!) This is no small point. The LAND of Israel is a non-negotiable promise of Yehovah. Once you see this, you find land references throughout the Bible. Here is another of my favorites, from the mouth of Moses.

“Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the LAND which you cross over to possess,and that you may prolong your days in the LAND which Yehovah swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, ‘a LAND flowing with milk and honey.’For the LAND which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; but the LAND which you cross over to possess is a LAND of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a LAND for which Yehovah your God cares; the eyes of Yehovah your God ARE ALWAYS ON IT from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.” Deuteronomy 11:8-12

The blessing and curse principle of Genesis 12 is rising in importance as the antisemitism reaches new depths. Verbal and physical attacks against Jews (and also even Christians) are breaking records in many countries. This is directly tied to end times prophecy and starkly reveals that our battle is not carnal but “against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

‘Vicious Libel’: AOC Blasted After Implying Israel Keeps Palestinian Children In Cages – Ocasio-Cortez was blasted for her false claims involving the Jewish state. The American Jewish Committee responded by tweeting, “@AOC, you know as well as we do that there are no Palestinian children ‘in cages’ in the West Bank. This kind of gross misinformation hurts chances for reasonable discussion and furthers harmful biases. You must apologize for these baseless allegations.”

Jews, Christians Outraged After PCUSA Leader Accuses Israel of Enslaving Palestinians –  Jewish leaders are calling for a top Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) official to resign for repeatedly accusing Israel of practicing slavery.

It does not matter if every nation stands against Israel and every demonic spirit spreads lies and libel against them. In the end, God will bless Israel in their OWN LAND and their enemies will be defeated. Jesus, the Messiah (Yeshua haMashiach) will rule from His throne in Jerusalem to the final glory of Yehovah God, the Father!

Prophesy! (The Verb, Not the Noun)

PROPHESY! We must declare the prophetic truth of God at every opportunity. Most people view prophecy in its noun form referring to a study that compares the Bible and history. But I challenge you to consider the verb “to prophesy” as a mandate and calling of God. It is a command. We must do more than study it, we must say it! Speak to the dirt, prophesy to the land, prophesy to the bones!

A prophecy, as a noun, refers a past tense message that was given. To prophesy is to speak now the promises of God, in the present tense. I hope you hear me. It is a call to action. It is time to let our voices be heard. We study prophecies to learn God’s voice and purpose. But now is the time to say it, speak it, and declare it. Yehovah’s promises are often left in the past, or even relegated to some distant future. But we must engage with the present tense God. He is the eternally existent One.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20

As you find your voice, it must be with confidence, a definite certainty. This comes not from practice or getting louder, it comes from the inner witness of the Holy Spirit of Truth. When Moses had called all the seventy elders together, two of them didn’t make it to the meeting, but the anointing was so strong they started to prophesy right in the midst of the people. When some, including Joshua, asked Moses to forbid them, his response was:

“Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all Yehovah’s people were prophets and that Yehovah would put His Spirit upon them!” Numbers 11:29

My prayer for all of us is that we would prophesy the Kingdom of God. How do we do this? We simply follow Jesus’ and Paul’s example:

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No? But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 1:17-22

My Half-Shekel’s Worth, by Simeon of Jerusalem

I have not gone up to the Temple as often since I have gotten older, but today I just had to go. There was a sound inside of me as clear as a shofar calling to worship. Even though it was shoulder to shoulder because of children’s dedication day, the Holy Spirit compelled me to go today.

I am trembling with joy and can hardly see through my tears to write down what happened. For so long I have waited to see the Messiah as we all have, but God had spoken so clearly that I would live to see Messiah myself. It was really exciting for me as a young man when He spoke that promise to me. I believed Him with all my heart.

But I must admit I sometimes doubted that promise I heard from Yehovah many years ago, especially with my advancing age, but I could not give up on it. It was so clear. He spoke to my heart that I would live to see the promised Messiah of Israel with my own eyes! After nearly four thousand years it was nearly impossible to believe that one of such minor value as me would have such an extraordinary privilege.

There had to be several hundred dedications there today, but when I came up it was like the Red Sea parted and the Holy Spirit led me right to one particular mother holding her child. They were not different from the others; I just knew they were the ones I was supposed to see. She did not know me, but somehow trusted me to hold Him in my arms.

As soon as I did, my heart was on fire. It was from the inside, but even my body was shaking as I realized instantly that we had all been wrong expecting the Messiah to be a grown man, a conquering King. This child was the Messiah! My head was spinning, but my heart was sure. This little one is the Promise! My theology fell away. It doesn’t matter how to explain it. I know.

Immediately, words came out of my mouth like I was Elijah, or Isaiah, or Zechariah. I have never known anything like I know this. I had to write this down, now, before I forget a single word. I spoke the words, but the Ruach HaKodesh, the Spirit of the Holy One, was revealing everything to me as I declared the truth! This is what I said to her and her husband, but especially to her.

“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace (shalom), according to Your word; ​​For my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” Luke 2:29-32

I really am ready to die now in perfect shalom. God kept His word to me! Yehovah’s salvation has come in human form! I saw Him! I don’t understand how, but He is the Messiah. He is going to be seen somehow by the whole world, not only Israel. How can it happen? I don’t know; but He will be revealed as Savior to everyone in the world and yet will glorify Israel more than ever. I stopped speaking for a moment as we sort of took it all in. The father, Joseph, and his wife, Mary, were as astounded as I was at the words I had spoken.

Then I felt led to speak a blessing over them and Mary specifically. Yet, it turned out to be more than a blessing, it was a prophecy. I am not sure I understand. But it was clearly supernatural, and I don’t question it. The Spirt seemed to indicate that unlike most nations that rise and fall and then disappear, Israel is soon to fall but will then rise again later! We were all so amazed! Also, the Child will be a sign that will create strong opposition that will personally bring pain to Mary. It is a mystery to me, but I know what I heard. There was a third effect as well. The coming revelation of this Child will expose the secret thoughts of people’s hearts! The Messiah will break through everyone’s hard heart so that nothing will be hidden from Yehovah. Here are the exact words He gave me.

“Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:34-35

I don’t know if anyone will ever read this, but I just had to get it recorded for a testimony to the truth I saw and heard today. The Messiah has come!

Real Miracle of Hanukka

This cartoon sums it up. The miracle of Israel’s restoration is the story of the faithfulness of Yehovah, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The supernatural blessing of God on Israel continues to this day. When the Maccabees defeated the Greco/Syrian dictator Antiochus, they thwarted his intention to destroy Jerusalem and Israel’s temple. My wife, Doreen, wrote a children’s book about it: How Hanukkah Saved Christmas.

If Antiochus had succeeded, the prophecies of the Messiah entering Jerusalem and the Temple could not have happened. Here is just one example of the triumphal entry into Jerusalem prophesied and fulfilled.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9

“The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: ​​​Hosanna! “​Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yehovah!” ​​The King of Israel!

​Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: ​​“Fear not, daughter of Zion; ​​Behold, your King is coming, ​​Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”​ Zechariah 12:12-15

The miracle of Israel’s survival through nearly 2,000 years of scattering among the nations is nothing less than the supernatural faithfulness of God. He has kept His promises to the forefathers in this wonderful time of restoration. After the great dispersion both Jews and Christians are eagerly looking for the Messiah to come. They are also now sharing persecution from the enemy. The wall that has separated Jews and Christians is coming down. We are seeing the promise of “one new man!”

Bible Prophecy Interpretation Tip

Most Christians avoid Bible prophecy because it gets so confusing due to all the conflicting interpretations of symbols and spiritualizing. This is unfortunate. The most important predictions in the Bible are quite literal and easy to grasp by seeing their context in actual world history and current events.

Three of my most trusted mentors have believed a simple tip or rule of interpreting scripture: “If you can possibly take a verse or passage literally, do so.” This has been the key for me over many years now. Bible prophecy buffs tend to enjoy elaborate theories of last day scenarios that tantalize the reader or “tickle the ears” of their followers. It may be fun, but serves to draw attention away from actual predictions that edify and instruct us for daily living in a changing world.

My journey in literal prophecy began with Ezekiel 36 which is most often applied to the spiritual experience of Christians, but is a literal prophecy for the 21st century. It reveals Yehovah’s plan to restore both the land and the people of Israel, literally, in a real modern miracle. We have seen it fulfilled with our own eyes. Other examples can be found by taking literally Psalm 102, Psalm 83, Isaiah 17 and 19, Isaiah 60, and Ezekiel 38 and 39. 

What we have here is a definite pattern. Take the Bible literally. Only launch into symbolic meaning as a last resort if it simply cannot be taken literally. The extreme of this problem is seen in the ultimate rejection of the Bible itself. That is the trend as denominations turn away from God.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13

France Has a Muslim Problem

I know my title is politically incorrect. Please allow me to explain. Not all Muslims are jihadists, but all jihadists are Muslim. Therefore the picture of the M&Ms is appropriate. How many would you eat if only 10 of 10,000 pieces of candy in a bowl were deadly? Following the beheading of a teacher for showing a cartoon of Mohammed, and then the beheading of a Christian woman in a church, French President Macron stood tall and strong.

Emmanuel Macron issues ultimatum to French Muslims – French president issues ‘republican values ultimatum’ to Muslim leaders, demanding they sign charter denying Islam is a political movement.

“We will behead you all” – France is the new Syria – “My father will behead you.” a student told a teacher at Pierre Mendes France school in Saumur, in front of everyone. One of many. – While French President Emmanuel Macron is working on the law against “Islamist separatism,” Islamists are threatening to separate many heads from the bodies of numerous mayors and professors.

At least 10% of France is now Muslim with much higher percentages in Paris (15% or more). This is a ticking time-bomb that will only get worse, unless Macron is successful with his ultimatum. (See my book, Simple Islam.) I bring this up because we understand that ethnic conflict is a sign of the last days. 

Jesus was asked when He would return, in Matthew 24, and His answer had a hidden clue lost in translation.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7

The hidden clue is the Greek word translated “nations.” When you read the verse it sounds redundant because nation and kingdom both mean countries. But the first one, nations, is the Greek word “ethnos” which is almost precisely the English word, ethnic. 

Therefore, the rise of ethnic clashes in France is a marker that we are close to the return of the Messiah. The same is seen in the rise of racial divisions in other countries. BLM is an example in America. So what are we to be doing at this time?

“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.”  Matthew 24:45:47

We are to be about our Father’s business even as the day approaches. Remember my last post; more are they that are with us than they that are with the enemy.

UNESCO backs resolution ignoring Jewish link to Temple Mount You can’t make this stuff up. Now the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has voted to make the Temple Mount in Jerusalem a Muslim holy site exclusively. The decision effectively denies 3,000 years of Jerusalem as the Jewish Capitol. It also claims that the Western Wall is Muslim. What foolishness. The tragedy is that much of the world will believe it. The anti-Semitic anti-Israel propaganda has reached new lows for blatant lies and revisionist history.

Prime Minister Netanyahu understandably reacted strongly. Netanyahu called the decision “absurd,” while President Reuven Rivlin called it an “embarrassment” for UNESCO… “To say that Israel has no link to the Temple Mount is like saying that China has no link to the Great Wall or that Egypt has no connection to the Pyramids,” Netanyahu said, adding that “with this absurd decision UNESCO has lost what little legitimacy it still had.” He also said UNESCO was ignorant regarding the Bible, and accused the body of taking part in a “Theater of the Absurd.” What’s next? A UNESCO decision denying the connection between peanut butter and jelly? Batman and Robin? Rock and roll?

Israel Government Shift

LibermanThis week while I am speaking in Idaho, Israel has seen a major change in its governing coalition. Even after months of back channel pressure from Britain, U.S. and Egypt to choose a liberal path, Netanyahu surprised all by moving right. Instead of forming a “unity” with the Labor party, he invited a conservative party, expanding unity on the right.

Avigdor Liberman is head of Yisrael Beytenu, a conservative party representing Russian immigrants and settlers. He is a “settler” himself. Even the description is a loaded term, because Israel considers all of it citizens equally. Living in Judea or Samaria, (called West Bank by globalists and anti-Israel propaganda).

This means Israel will stand  in stronger agreement with Bible prophecy. The two-state idea is dead. The real answer is annexation of Judea and Samaria. The Palestinian leaders will never accept a Jewish state of any size. This week, they have again denied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city.

2,500 Year-old Prophecy for Today

nebuchadnezzars-imageThe prophet Daniel wrote over 2,500 years ago at the end of the Babylonian Captivity. He heard from God, and the word applies today. The Lord spoke to me this morning from a song written by my old friend, Ron Aldridge, years ago. from Daniel, chapter 2. I can still sing parts of it, although I think he has forgotten it himself. It comes from the King’s dream that only Daniel could interpret. As you know, it was a vision of world history and the great empires.

This part is often overlooked for the dream, but contains great revelation for today. Daniel was thanking God for giving him the answer. Today we are on the verge of the last great prophetic season change.

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
Daniel answered and said:
“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand.” Daniel 2:19-23

There is so much in these verses.  First, he blessed God for His wisdom and might. Then Daniel lists seven things God does. Each is so profound it will explode in your spirit if you let them soak into your core. To save space, I underlined each action verb.

Changes Times and Seasons – I believe we are at the final turning point of history. In the United States, if you thought the election has been wild, fasten your seat-belt. Greater turbulence lies ahead. We are entering a new un-chartered season. Yet, we do not fear. Daniel ends his prayer of thanks with an amazing declaration. The attribute of God that Daniel began with is now his! “You have given me wisdom and might.” Wow! If God had not answered, Daniel and all the wise men of Babylon would have been executed.

The season is changing, but God is with us. Jesus said He would never leave us or forsake us. Ask big things. Expect big answers. Yehovah, God of wisdom and might, shares His with us! Might is deadly without wisdom. Make sure to pray for both. Pray for our leaders and this election season, but know that there is a greater season upon us.

Yehovah God is Faithful!

Ezekiel’s Dry Bones and the Holocaust

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom haShoah) for Jewish people, and all who hold sacred the memory of Six Million Martyrs to Hitler’s genocide. It is a sober day in Israel and around the world for many. We all should pause and reflect and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Recently, a prominent New York Rabbi called for Jews to leave America and return to Israel for the catastrophe coming to the U.S. (see Wars and Rumors of Wars).

Ezekiel 37 refers to a valley of dry bones that has been seen as pointing to the return of Jews to Israel from exile.But I want to suggest a more literal take on Ezekiel’s dry bones vision. (I have a deeper look at this in my book, Generation LIFE, chapter 11: Holocaust Resurrection.)

3 Questions

Where, geographically, is the valley located that Ezekiel saw? Is the resurrection of the bones literal? What is the purpose of the “exceedingly great army”?

Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Ezekiel 37:9-10

Now, the traditional understanding of this passage is to the general last-day return of Israel to the Land. The reference (bolded) of a great army could refer to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). They have become a force to be reckoned with in the Middle East. That surely applies, but what if God were to literally raise the Holocaust victims from the dead, and supernaturally make them an actual physical army for the last battle?

Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am Yehovah, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, Yehovah, have spoken it and performed it,” says Yehovah.’ ” Ezekiel 37:11-14

One thing clarified by this second quoted section is that the valley of dry bones was not in Israel. I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. What would be the prophetic timing of such a miracle purpose? We can only speculate, probably at the Second Coming, when Jesus arrives to deal the final defeat of the anti-Messiah forces. What a glorious and victorious battle it will be, especially to those who had suffered such ignoble desecration in their deaths.

I do not insist on this interpretation, but what if….?

Time to Annex Judea & Samaria (aka West Bank)

It is time to annex Judea and Samaria which the world calls the West Bank. The Oslo accords have failed. The two-state plan has failed. The Middle East is on fire with the Muslim Brotherhood taking over another state every few months. Arab citizens of Israel are the only Arabs enjoying freedom, peace and liberty. Most Palestinians would be far better off as citizens of Israel. The fumbling obstinate dictatorship of Abbas is no solution. And if he achieved Palestinian statehood, he would be immediately overthrown by Hamas. It is time for Israel to act proactively. Many Israeli’s are ready for a bold solution. Even leaders in the government and the Knesset are speaking openly about annexation.

HotovelyDeputy Transportation Minister MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) said on Sunday that it was time that the Israeli government take steps to annex Judea and Samaria, even if it comes with the price of giving citizenship to Arabs residing in these areas. Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Hotovely said that offering citizenship to Palestinian Authority Arabs would be a small price pay for ending the status quo which brings international criticism of Israel, viewed as an “occupier” in Judea and Samaria. (INN 6/24/2013)

Bayit Yehudi head, Economics Minister Naftali Bennett, said Monday that the idea of establishing a Palestinian state has reached a dead-end and should be forsaken. “Never in the history of Israel has so much energy been invested in something so pointless,” Bennett said at a conference on the Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria and their depiction in the media. (INN 6/17/2013,)

Op-Ed: Annexation: Should Israel Make Her Move Now? by Ron Jager in Israel National News. In recent weeks and months, public leaders and leading journalists affiliated with the settlement movement have called for annexing and incorporating all of Judea and Samaria into Israel. In response to the chaos and weakness of the Arab nations surrounding Israel and the preoccupation of the Western world with the ongoing genocide in Syria, they claim that now is the time to be proactive and go on the offensive and do what will be inevitably done anyway probably under less favorable conditions for Israel. (INN 6/20/2013)

At the same time as these discussions President Bill Clinton visited Israel this week in what I can only call a flashback to 1993. He is lost in the past of his dream of the Oslo accords. Under the headline: Clinton: Israel Must Make Peace or Disappear,Breitbart.com reported: In a speech that will no doubt incentivize Palestinians to continue their campaign of terror and warfare against Israel, former President Bill Clinton told Israel that it would have to make peace with the Palestinians if it wanted to remain Jewish and democratic. (See Palestinian reaction here.)

Even as far back as April 2011, the idea of annexation was gaining momentum as seen in this story about two members of Knesset and a bill proposing annexation.

MK Danon preparing bills to annex West Bank, repeal Oslo Accords; move intended to convince EU to stop UN vote on Palestinian statehood. Ideas about annexing parts of the West Bank that until recently were considered extreme have been gaining traction in the Knesset in recent weeks as the Palestinian Authority continues threatening to declare a state unilaterally in September. National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau raised the idea at Israel Beiteinu’s convention in Jerusalem two weeks ago. (Jerusalem Post 4/26/2011)

It is time for Israel to annex Judea and Samaria politically, demographically and most important prophetically.

And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. Ezekiel 37:22

I wrote this article June 24, 2013, almost three years ago! Then, there was a trickle of interest in annexation. Today, the idea is catching on throughout Israel. Even liberals are now seriously considering the idea. The two-state plan is dead. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Tailwind for Terror

Dry Bones Ban Ki-MoonUN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon showed his bias and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned his words this week in a heated exchange.

Netanyahu blasts UN’s Ban: “Your remarks are a tailwind for terror“ Speaking to the UN Security Council in a session on the current situation in the Middle East, Ban condemns terror wave, but says it is ‘human nature to react to occupation’… Netanyahu accused UN Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday of supporting Palestinian terrorism.

“It is human nature to react to occupation, which often serves as a potent incubator of hate and extremism,” Ban had told a Security Council meeting in New York.

In what became a war of words, Netanyahu shot back: “The secretary-general’s remarks provide a tailwind for terrorism. There is no justification for terrorism. Those Palestinians who murder do not want to build a state, they want to destroy a state and they say this openly.”

Ban made his remarks on the same day that terrorist victim Shlomit Krigman, 23, was buried in Jerusalem. The young woman was fatally stabbed on Monday evening by two Palestinian terrorists. Jerusalem Post 1-26-16

KrigmanBan Ki-Moon later tried to walk back his remarks, but the damage was done. By using the excuse of “human nature” to describe the Palestinian terror attacks, he indeed justifies the terror. He links resistance to “occupation” with human nature. The problem is that the specific type of resistance employed by terrorist is not human, it is demonic. It is not “natural” to send 13-year-old boys and girls to stab women while they are simply shopping. Shlomit Krigman was buried the same day as Ban’s remarks. The 23-year-old was grocery shopping when stabbed to death by two Palestinians, one of which was 17 years old. Stabbing innocent civilians is not legitimate “resistance to occupation.”

Update: Terrorist murderer’s mother and sister throw candy celebrating his “martyrdom.”

This is not only an Israel problem. This perverse form of rationalizing is spreading everywhere. It is part of prophesied “last days.”

Perilous Times and Perilous Men
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Devout Muslim Shoots Cop in the Name of Islam

This devout Muslim (according to his own mother), tried to execute a Philadelphia police officer in the name of Islam and the Quran in support of ISIS. This was by his own video confession.  This attempted execution was Friday night and left the heroic policeman in need of multiple surgeries to save his arm.  

Commissioner Ross says the suspect has given a full confession, saying he did it in the name of Islam. “According to him, police bend laws that are contrary to the teachings of the Quran.” Sources say the suspect’s full confession of the alleged attack was written down and recorded on video. CBS Philly

However, in the very same news conference, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenny (D) perversely contradicted his own Police Commissioner. The Mayor tried to defend Islam in a cowardly “politically correct” denial of the stipulated truth. Here is his statement:

“In no way, shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teachings of Islam have anything to do with what you’ve seen on that screen,” Kenney said. “That is abhorrent. It’s just terrible, and it does not represent the religion in any way, shape or form or any of its teachings. This is a criminal with a stolen gun who tried to kill one of our officers,” he added. “[It] has nothing to do with being a Muslim or following the Islamic faith.” (Click here for the video statement.)

Who made the Mayor an expert on Islam? There are millions of radical Muslims who base their entire religious ideology squarely on the Quran and Islam. What audacity for the Mayor to claim such omnipotent knowledge of Islam! We are at the point in prophetic history where official leaders blatantly lie publicly to deceive gullible people.

So, what does the Bible say? I submit two references for your consideration.

#1 – The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

#2 – But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
