Circle of Peace Still Alive?

26 01 2021

Ethiopian Jews kissing the ground in Israel

Yes, the circle of peace is alive, not because of political changes, but in spite of the elections. It survives because it is Yehovah Himself who is doing it. Another nation to watch is Ethiopia. Israel has recently admitted another group of Ethiopian Jews as citizens. This is a progressive miracle of several decades. Here are Biblical indications of Ethiopia joining the circle of peace. Following the verses, I have reprinted my post from 10-24-20 which explains why this circle is Biblical and will stand the test of time.

“Envoys will come out of Egypt; Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God.” Psalm 68:31

“In that time a present will be brought to Yehovah of hosts from a people tall and smooth of skin, and from a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation powerful and treading down, whose land the rivers divide— To the place of the name of Yehovah of hosts, to Mount Zion.” Isaiah 18:7

“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of Yehovah, to serve Him with one accord. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, the daughter of My dispersed ones, shall bring My offering.” Zephaniah 3:9-10

CIRCLE OF PEACE (from 10-24-20) — Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu refers to the snowballing Arab peace agreements as the “circle of peace.” Yesterday Sudan was added to the growing list, soon to be followed by Oman, Morocco, and even Saudi Arabia, as well as others. There are now five Arab nations at peace with Israel. Don’t forget that Serbia and Kosovo also agree to recognize Israel and open embassies in Israel. Kosovo is the first non-Arab Muslim nation to do so. This is truly historic.

Sudan is especially interesting because they are still technically at war with Israel from 1948, which is not true of the UAE and Bahrain. Sudan’s capitol, Khartoum, was the location of the infamous Arab League meeting after the 1967 Six Day War. That is where they adopted “the three No’s”: “No to peace with Israel, no to recognition of Israel and no to negotiations with Israel.” Also, please note that Sudan will end up against Israel in the Ezekiel 38 Gog & Magog War. But first, Israel must enter a period of total peace, such complete peace that they tear down their walls and bars and gates. They would have to have immense confidence in their security, which brings me back to the circle of peace.

“After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. — You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ Ezekiel 38:8 & 11

Notice that the nations that now encircle Israel are not mentioned in Ezekiel 38. Those are the nations that will create the circle of peace, along with others (Gulf states, North African states and a few other Muslim states). We may also see agreements with other African states who want to get in on the economic benefits that are about to explode in this Middle East circle of peace. According to Isaiah 19, even Syria and Lebanon will join! Here is just one example of the economic opportunity.

Israeli firm signs deal to pipe UAE oil to EuropeState-owned Europe-Asia Pipeline Co. says agreement, reached as part of normalization pact, will see much more oil pumped through major link between East Asia and Europe.”

To be sure, this peace may not last more than a decade or so, but in the meantime it is an earth shaking realignment of loyalties in the Middle East. Shifting sands will see the Arab nations working with Israel in unprecedented ways. This is right in line with our studies of Psalm 83, Isaiah 19 and Isaiah 60. Wow! What a time to be alive.

MY TAKE: What about the Palestinian Arabs? The people will be included, not with a new state, but in an option to become citizens of Israel. The PA (Palestinian Authority) and PLO will certainly reject every offer for peace, so there will come a separation between the people and their terrorist leaders. The land was given by Yehovah God to Israel and He has the final say. Therefore, Israel will ultimately prevail.

“On the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.” Genesis 15:18

Pray for the “circle” of peace for Jerusalem and pray for more snow and rain for Israel.

Psalm 83 War, with a Twist

1 09 2020

Drybones cartoon,ElAl,UAE,peace, 2020,

For several years I expected a war to end the conflict described in Psalm 83 which started with the invasion against Israel in 1948 by the Arab Legion. The confederacy formed of modern Arab nations are exactly the nations listed in the Psalm by their ancient names.

However, it now appears that it may not end with a war, but with the recognition of Israel and peace between Jews and Arabs. That is quite a twist. This direction is provoked by the threat of Iran (which is Persian and not Arab) and their proxies against the Arab states. The recent agreement between Israel and the UAE  (United Arab Emirates) is a fresh indication. Other Arab states may soon join in the fun.

Gog and Magog? Do not look for Ezekiel 38 anytime soon. Israel must be living in such secure peace that they tear down all walls they have built as separation from the Arabs in recent years. Thus, the season of peace before the Gog and Magog war.

Notice the bolded words above which unequivocally describe conditions that simply do not exist today in Israel. Therefore, the next prophetic event is not war with Iran, but an extraordinary (and surprising) peace.

For several years I have said that Iran must diminish; and we are now seeing it happen. Expect more examples of this to come soon. Even Hezbollah and Hamas will fade, as hard as that is to imagine. This is God’s work, using Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu.

The recent explosion in Beirut exposed Hezbollah’s evil plots and is the beginning of the end of Hezbollah. They have been denied much of their support from Iran because of Iran’s financial collapse from the U.S. sanctions and other internal problems. Recently, with great bravado, the head of Hezbollah threatened to kill an Israeli soldier for each of his lost fighters. But the next day Israel bombed Damascus killing Hezbollah members, calling their bluff. They do not want a war right now in their time of weakness and turmoil in Lebanon.

Five Iranian-backed militia killed in Syria in alleged Israeli air strike Hizballah has threatened to kill an Israeli soldier for every fighter who loses his life in an IDF attack in Syria, but so far missed its aim in three attempts.

So, we watch and pray. Yehovah, God of angel armies, is not deterred by any geo-political events. God said the land is given to Israel, all of it. Nothing will prevent the exact fulfillment of His promise, in which He raised His hand in an oath.

Therefore thus says the Lord Yehovah: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame. But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come. Ezekiel 36:7-8

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Follow-up to Isaiah 45

1 02 2020

Trump-Israel

This week I posted my commentary on the impeachment, related to the Trump/Cyrus links in Isaiah 45. Please read it if you missed it the first time. But I want to add three particular points from verse 13:

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; he shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward,” says Yehovah of hosts. Isaiah 45: 13

  1. The righteousness here does not refer to Cyrus (or Trump). Cyrus was a pagan king. The prophetic voice of Yehovah God to Isaiah/Israel was pre-empting their natural rejection of God using a Gentile. God was saying that He, Yehovah, is doing this “in righteousness.” It is His own plan fulfilled using Cyrus. King Cyrus’ (or Trump’s) righteousness is not relevant. It is God’s purpose. Yehovah is doing it.
  2. Next, Cyrus will build Jerusalem and free the captives of Babylon. Remember that this prophecy used the name of Cyrus over one hundred years before he was born, thus the extraordinary explanation ahead of time. President Trump’s declaration for Jerusalem is well documented. The American exiled Jews also fit the analogy, though it requires explanation. There are more Jews in Israel than America. This was not true only 20 years ago. God is calling American Jews to Israel. Not all Jews in America will return, but that is another story. (See Ezekiel 20:33-38. This passage reveals that the Jews scattered to the countries will end up in a place called “the wilderness of the peoples” which, given the historical reality, refers to America.)
  3. Finally, Cyrus will do this “not for price or reward.” He did it because God motivated him. He got nothing in return. In fact, he lost many productive citizens of Persia and great wealth carried to Jerusalem. President Trump does not even keep his $400,000 salary. He is doing his job “not for price or reward.” He is mightily opposed by some powerful nations and even within the United States.

My conclusion is that these current global and Middle East geo-political events have their source in God, far above politics or personalities. He is restoring Jerusalem in our time. Yehovah God Himself is doing this today “in righteousness!” Are you with Him or against Him?

Here is a good look at the peace plan from Mike Evans,  a #1 New York Times bestselling author with 100 published books. He is the founder of Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem of which the late President Shimon Peres, Israel’s ninth president, was the chair. He also serves as a founding member on the Trump Evangelical Faith Initiative and has 70 million Facebook followers on the Jerusalem Prayer Team.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

Two-State/One-State?

22 05 2015

Netanyahu pondersI had a very good question yesterday on my YouTube video page about PM Netanyahu supporting the two-state plan for Middle East peace. His position certainly contradicts the Biblical promise that the whole land belongs to Israel. My answer may surprise you. I believe Prime Minister Netanyahu stakes his claim to the middle ground knowing that the Palestinians will never agree to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Here is his statement:

“I don’t support a one-state solution – I don’t believe that’s a solution at all,” said the Israeli leader. “I support the vision of two states for two peoples – a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes the Jewish state.” Israel Today

You tell me. Do you believe the Palestinians will ever accept that simple statement? Absolutely not. Those two bold and underlined words are fatal to any agreement. Therefore Netanyahu gets credit for trying and the failure is on Abbas and the Palestinians. Abbas still claims he is also for two states when speaking to the West, yet his real position is clear when speaking in Arabic. Here is proof of my point.

For Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, the idea of a “greater Palestine” – that would stretch from “the river to the sea” – is now an official policy….In a series of videos and images discovered and released by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), the PA’s official propaganda ministry has made clear that when the PA says “Palestinian state,” it means not just Ramallah and Jenin, but also Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheva. Israel National News

However, there is a third option. The Bible is clear that God will judge the nations for dividing His land (which they have already done).

I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land. Joel 3:2

So, the third option is actually the first and only Biblical plan, the prophetic promised “one-state” solution. The land was given by God to Israel. There will not be two states. God will ultimately settle the issue. More and more Israelis now realize this truth. Even the new Deputy Foreign minister of Israel is calling for the government to use the Torah (the Bible) to lay claim to God’s promised land for the Jews:

Hotovely2Hotovely Tells Foreign Ministry to Quote Torah to the World Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) told Israeli envoys onThursday to reference the Torah in presenting the historical rights of theJewish people to the entire land of Israel while representing the state.

We must keep praying for God’s will to be followed by the leaders and the people of Israel and especially for Jews who are still exiled in the nations.

We bless Israel this weekend as they celebrate Shavuot (Pentecost) and the giving of the Torah . Shavuot begins at sundown Saturday through sundown Monday. Reading the Book of Ruth with family over a joyous meal is the way they observe this holiday. (Click here for my audio teaching on the feasts).

Kerry, Kerry, Quite Contrary

4 05 2014

Dry Bones Kerry

John Kerry finds himself standing in direct opposition to the declaration of Yehovah God about Israel. He and the Obama Administration would divide the land, contrary to the Scriptures.

I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. Joel 3:2

Kerry’s real opinion was exposed this week in a leaked recording applying the word apartheid to Israel. This is the false narrative trumped-up by the Palestinians. Once again the Administration has articulated the Muslim voice over God’s voice. There will be no peace in this instance. Israel is united against the recent developments, but more to the point, Yehovah, God of Israel opposes dividing His Land!

But Zion said, “Yehovah has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.”  “Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me. Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; all these gather together and come to you.
As I live,” says Yehovah, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does. “For your waste and desolate places, and the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants;
And those who swallowed you up will be far away. The children you will have, after you have lost the others, will say again in your ears, The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.’ Isaiah 49:14-20

Where was this Hamas Photo Taken?

27 03 2014

Hamas-rally-in-Al-Quds 3-23-14The surprise answer is Jerusalem, last Sunday! It says something about free speech in Israel. But what is going on? The photo of last Sunday’s march at Al Quds University in Jerusalem reveals the bold intent of Hamas to destroy the Jews. This was the second demonstration there in five months.

The Islamic Bloc of Al-Quds University, a student group associated with the Hamas terror group, paraded on campus with masked faces, carrying green banners and cardboard replicas of missiles launched by Islamist terrorists from Gaza into Israel. The Times of Israel

Hamas Jerusaleml rally 11-13Last November 5, a similar demonstration was also held at Jerusalem’s Al Quds University. These are not harmless students looking for a photo-op, these are serious terrorists threatening the very existence of Israel.

Hamas: We Must Slaughter the Jews is a headline for this story in Israel Today: A Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament said in a recent televised address that Palestinian Muslims must either subdue or massacre the Jews, and that genuine, long-lasting peace with the infidels is not achievable. Speaking on Hamas’ Al Aqsa TV, MP Yunis Al-Astal explained “This indicates that we must massacre them, in order to break them down and prevent them from sowing corruption in the world,” he stated. One would presume this also applies to the “infidel” Christians living in the region.

Arab League Officially Rejects “Jewish State” from Israel National News, Arutz Sheva.

At the conclusion of the two-day Arab League summit in Kuwait on Wednesday, Arab leaders announced their rejection of Israel’s request for recognition as the Jewish state. The final statement of the summit declared its “total rejection of the call to consider Israel a Jewish state,”

Since this is a non-negotiable demand of Israel for its very existence, say “Good bye” to the peace talks. To add insult to injury, Palestinian religious leaders have added to their ban on Jews and Christians praying (or doing anything remotely religious) on the Temple Mount. Now they are saying that even the Western Wall below the Mount is also part of Al Aqsa Mosque, and no Jews should be allowed to pray there either!

If you only read Western media, you may be deluded into thinking there is a chance for peace. You would be dead wrong. The Palestinians are increasing pressure, condemnations and attacks within Israel. It is only going to get worse before it gets better. So, where is hope? Yehovah, God of Israel, has spoken and anointed His Son Jesus, Yeshua ben Yehovah, as King over Israel to rule the entire planet.

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yehovah and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,  and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: Yehovah has said to Me, You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. Psalm 2:1-8

The Israeli Solution

4 03 2014

Caroline Glick bookMy last blog was on this same subject, but today I want you to hear directly from Caroline Glick, my favorite Israeli columnist. She has just published the best answer to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Please read her reasons for writing and then order the book by clicking on the picture.

“In its annual survey of American Jewry published last October, the American Jewish Committee found that 75 percent of American Jews agree with the statement, “The goal of the Arabs is not a peaceful two-state agreement with Israel, but rather the destruction of Israel.”

And yet, American Jews supported the establishment of a Palestinian state 50% to 47%.

Next week over 10,000 predominantly Jewish American supporters of Israel will gather in Washington at AIPAC’s annual policy conference. Given their high commitment to Israel, probably most of those gathered belong to the 47% of American Jews who opposed Palestinian statehood.

Yet at the conference they will embrace the two-state formula. And on March 4 they will go up to Capitol Hill and tell their representatives that they support it.

They will do so not because they are addled. They will do so because for the past 20 years all they have heard is that Israel has no alternative to the two-state plan.

Israel’s fervent and committed supporters at AIPAC have been told that Israel needs a Palestinian state more than the PLO does. Only by bringing such a state into existence in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem can Israel get the Palestinian demographic albatross off its neck.

These committed supporters of the Jewish state have been sternly lectured that Israel is doomed if it doesn’t give the Palestinians an outlet for their political impulses outside of Israel, because within a year or two there will be more Palestinians than Israelis west of the Jordan.

The same day AIPAC’s delegates meet with members of both houses of Congress, my new book, The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East will be released by Crown Forum, a division of Random House.

In my book, I show that the demographic time bomb is a dud, and a malicious one at that.

In 1997, the head of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics Hassan Abu Libdeh told The New York Times that he was carrying out a census which would serve as a “civil intifada,” that is, as a statistical terror assault.

And he was right. The goal of terrorism is to force a target population to take actions it otherwise would not have taken. The goal of statistical warfare is to manipulate numbers to coerce a target society into taking actions that it would otherwise not take.

The Palestinian census claimed that by 2015, Arabs would be the majority west of the Jordan River. And once Jews were the minority, the Arabs could destroy Israel just by demanding the vote.

The Clinton administration, the US Jewish leadership and the Israeli Left rushed to embrace the findings, even though they were totally inconsistent with annual Palestinian population surveys the Israeli military government conducted from 1967 through 1996.

All crowed that true, the PLO still supports terrorism, but if Israel didn’t cough up the territories, it would be demographically overwhelmed.

It took seven years until an independent group of Israeli and American researchers studied the PLO data and exposed the fraud at their foundation. The American- Israeli Demographic Research Group showed that the Palestinian data inflated the Arab population by a whopping 50 percent.

The news for Israel has only gotten better in the intervening years. The Jewish fertility rate has increased as the Palestinian rates have collapsed along with those of the Muslim world as a whole. Israeli Jews now have higher fertility rates than the Arabs of Judea and Samaria, (3.04 vs. 2.91 children per woman). Israel’s immigration rate is high and rising. Palestinian emigration rates have skyrocketed over the past decade.

The demographic good news has percolated throughout Israeli society. And with the news, more and more Israeli politicians have come to favor applying Israeli law to all or parts of Judea and Samaria, just as Israel successfully applied its laws to united Jerusalem and the Golan Heights in the past.

Most Likud members of Knesset and all members of the Bayit Yehudi party support partial or full implementation of Israeli law in the areas. 59% of Israeli Jews support such action as well and support doing so unilaterally.

Indeed, even leftist Israelis support Israel’s unilateral application of its laws to parts of Judea and Samaria. For instance, former ambassador to the US Michael Oren supports the unilateral withdrawal from parts of Judea and Samaria. But Oren foresees the retention of the major Israeli settlement blocs under Israeli law. In the absence of a peace deal, such a step can only be taken through the unilateral application of Israeli law to those areas.

In the current Knesset session, members have submitted two bills calling for the application of Israeli law to the large Israeli population centers in Judea and Samaria and to the Jordan Valley, respectively.

But while all of this is going on in Israel, Israel’s supporters in the US remain in the dark about the existence of a better – facts based – alternative path for Israel.

In The Israeli Solution, I fill in the blanks that plague the American discourse on Israel and the Palestinians.

I provide a 360-degree analysis of a policy that I call The Israeli One-State Plan. That plan involves applying Israeli law – and through it Israeli sovereignty – throughout all of Judea and Samaria.

I divide the discussion into three parts. Part One provides the 90-year history of failure that has attended the two-state model, from the end of World War I through the present day. I also show how the US’s embrace of the two-state model has worked to blind US policymakers from both parties to the realities of the region and so guaranteed the failure of US Middle East policies.

Part Two presents the case for Israeli sovereignty from the perspectives of demography, international law, history and civil liberties.

Far from transforming the areas into a race-based state, as Israel’s opponents threaten, such a move by Israel will free the Palestinians from life under the PLO’s terror supporting kleptocracy and provide them with full civil and legal rights as permanent residents of Israel.

They will also have the right to apply for Israeli citizenship.

Even if all the Arabs of Judea and Samaria were to become Israeli citizens, Israel would retain a strong two-thirds Jewish majority. And it would avert the only real demographic threat. That is the threat posed by a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria which would permit millions of hostile, foreign-born Arabs from Lebanon, Jordan and Syria to immigrate to its territory.

In Part Three, I discuss the probable responses of the Palestinians, the larger Arab world and the EU to a decision by Israel to apply its laws to Judea and Samaria and abandon the two-state policy model.

I also discuss how such a move will impact Israel and the United States.

Most delegates at AIPAC do not realize that Israelis have moved on from the failed two-state formula. It is my hope that in the year between this AIPAC conference and next year’s conference, they will read my book, and understand that they needn’t support the establishment of a Palestinian terror state. There is a better option. It is better for Israel. It is better for the Palestinians. And it is better for America.

If they do read my book, I hope it will open a long-belated discussion about Israel’s true options. If they do, I can assure them that next year’s AIPAC conference will be more realistic, and more optimistic than next week’s conclave.” Caroline Glick 2-25-14

One State Solution

Unjust Land(As I write this commentary, I am enjoying the beautiful sunshine of Naples, Florida. I have already had one great meeting in Jacksonville on this ministry trip. Wednesday night I speak at Gulf Coast Church in Indian Rocks. I am at Flowing River Church (my home church) Sunday March 9 and then Shepherd’s Heart in Dunedin on March 16. I hope to see many of my old friends while in the area.)

ONE STATE SOLUTION

There is one great article you need to read in Israel Today Magazine. Calev Meyers, a leading Israeli lawyer from the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, offers the best plan yet for solving the “peace process” dilemma. Instead of the two-state idea, he suggests Israel annex Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and give them full citizenship in Israel. The main objection to this idea has been worry that Israel would become majority Arab. However, this is solved by simply not including the one and a half million Gazans since there are no Jews there anyway. The result would leave Israel as a Jewish state with a 30% Arab minority. This plan definitely makes the most sense to me. Please check out the article and video interview here.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

First notice! I am beginning to plan an Israel Tour for next February. Details later. I hope to take just 20 to 25 folks, so pray about your participation.

Seeing Peace Talks as Adultery

13 02 2014

MothersIsrael is looking for a “peace partner” to make a covenant with the Palestinians. This would divide the Land God gave to Israel, and grant sovereignty allowing the Palestinian flag to legally fly over Biblical Judea and Samaria. This is adultery. Israel is married to Yehovah God. And He is a jealous God.  Jeremiah 3 talks of the historic spiritual adultery of Israel and Judah “playing the harlot” by worshiping idols on the mountains. Entertaining the idea of the “two state solution” is an adulterous temptation. We must pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu to stand strong against the temptation for this adultery.

Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills,  and from the multitude of mountains; Truly, in Yehovah our God is the salvation of Israel. Jeremiah 3:23

Praise God for mothers in Israel who recently appealed to PM Netanyahu:

LIKE A MOTHER FOR HER CHILD, WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON OUR LAND: A week-long vigil in front of the Prime Minister’s Residence in Jerusalem, calling for Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, wound to a close on Sunday. Dozens of mothers were present at the vigil tent from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily in a strong showing of support. Nadia Matar, co-director of Women in Green which organized the event, emphasized the rally’s message to PM Netanyahu. “We know there is a lot of international pressure and pressure from the left against you,” said Matar to Netanyahu, “but we are here to remind you that the land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel, and there exists a plan that you should implement: the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.” In addition to the many MKs, rabbis and other public figures who showed up to express support for the vigil, a special guest arrived at the tent – a bride, Efrat Leshem, who showed up on her wedding day. Leshem said at the vigil “before I build my private home, I must also do something for my nation and for my land.” Summarizing the reason why so many mothers came out to support the event, Matar stated “in the same way a mother would never give up on a child that is the same way we the people of Israel will not give up on the land of Israel.” (Arutz-7 Click for video)

“Can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah 49:15-16

At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of Yehovah, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of Yehovah, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts. In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers. Kerry’s Plan: Rock or Sand?

1 02 2014

Protesting peace plan 1-20-141. Kerry’s Framework Plan gives half of Jerusalem to Palestine state as their capital. Israel cannot agree. SAND!

2. Kerry’s Framework Plan gives the Jordan Valley to Palestine. Israel cannot agree. SAND!

3. Kerry’s Framework Plan declares Israel as a Jewish state. Palestinians will not agree. SAND!

4. Kerry’s Framework Plan leaves 20-25% of Jews in Palestine. Palestinians will not agree. SAND!

5. Kerry’s Framework Plan allows no right of return for Arabs to Israel. Palestinians will not agree. SAND!

6. Kerry’s Framework Plan makes land swaps that leaves Israeli Arab citizens in Palestine. They will not agree. SAND!

7. Kerry’s Framework Plan will lead to a new Intifada and war. SAND!

SAND

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matthew 7:24-29

ROCK

Thus says Yehovah, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (Yehovah of hosts is His name): “If those ordinances depart from before Me, says Yehovah, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.” Thus says Yehovah: “If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says Yehovah. Unprecedented Snow in Jerusalem: Over 3 Feet!

13 12 2013

Jerusalem snow jam 2013It is time to pray. This storm has stranded thousands of people. Jerusalem has already had over a foot with two more expected tonight. They are not prepared for the unexpectedly extreme conditions. As I write this, it is sundown Friday there. The worst is yet to come. Pray!

Here are several links to this developing story:

Unprecedented Snowfall Continues

Jerusalem braces for storm ‘three times worse’ than what has been seen so far

Jerusalem covered in snow, rest of the country flooded with rains

Roads to Jerusalem closed as huge storm batters Israel

Jerusalem: Drivers stranded in snow

Praise Yehovah, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you. He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat. He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes; He casts out His hail like morsels; Who can stand before His cold? He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow. Psalm 147:12-18

Also, please read all of Job 37 for more insight.

Dry Bones snowFinally, there is a prophetic context to the fact that John Kerry is presently in Jerusalem imposing the US Administrations will. It is the eleventh time this year. Amazingly, there is a prophetic pronouncement in the two preceding verses to the above quote that gives context. It is not man who brings peace to Jerusalem, it is Yehovah God! Jesus is the Prince of Peace, Yeshua Sar Shalom!

He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. Yehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy. Psalm 147:10-11

Release Terrorists, Get Rocket Fire

28 10 2013

MK RegevMK Regev: We Release Terrorists, Get Rocket Fire The Chairwoman of the Knesset’s Internal Affairs Committee, MK Miri Regev (Likud), said Monday that Israel “releases terrorists and receives missile fire, murder and terror.” She joined a relatively long list of Likud MKs who came out strongly against the decision to free terrorists as a “gesture” to the Palestinian Authority in exchange for “peace talks.”

The standard reason for Israel releasing terrorists is that Israel must provide a “gesture” to prove they want peace. The Palestinian Authority is not required a similar gesture. Israel has followed this foolish path for years and it only leads to more violence. Since the first release of 26 terrorists in August, terror attacks have increased in the West Bank and Israel with several Israelis killed.

Yesterday Israel announced the release of 26 more and immediately saw two rockets land in Israel fired from Gaza. Today saw four more fired with one intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. There are mounting calls for a new intifada against Israel. An Arab member of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) has praised the Hamas leader’s recent call for a new intifada.

Praise Yehovah, O my soul! While I live I will praise Yehovah; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth. In that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yehovah his God. Israel’s Problem with Peace

29 08 2013

Hamas set the value of one Israeli

Hamas set the value of one Israeli

Last Monday, as Israel was making an arrest of a terrorist suspect in an Arab town north of Jerusalem, 1,500 people came out of nowhere and attacked the Israeli police. It was 5 am. Three Palestinians died in the riot.

The suspect was released a month ago as Israel’s gesture to prove they want peace. While the peace talks continue, the facts on the ground are contradictory. Why does Israel have to endure this charade? This year has seen an increase of West Bank terrorism and also right in Jerusalem.

In addition, one of the rioters killed was released in the 2011 Gilad Shalit deal when Israel traded 1,000 terrorist prisoners for one Israeli.

Finally, adding insult to injury, an Arab Minister of Knesset had the nerve to condemn Israel.

Mob Attack on Soldiers was ‘Legitimate Self-Defense’: Arab-Israeli MK says PA mob was right to attack soldiers: “The occupation soldiers commit war crimes.”

He is free citizen of Israel (one of 1.5 million) and an elected member of Israel’s Knesset (Parliament). How can Israel  be such an open democracy and yet be excoriated by the world? How can they solve the peace problem? The answer is simple. Peace will only come from Yehovah, God of Israel. It will happen when the Messiah comes. In the meantime, Israel walks the tightrope of public opinion and her own security and very existence.

In that day Yehovah will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Yehovah before them. Zechariah 12:8

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

I Did the Math

22 08 2013

Sub AD 120912_PA-Answer-To-Peace-Offers-Billboard_7_2012Several Palestinian news stories intersected for me yesterday. First, I read a story on Israel National News about the Palestinian Authority: Jailed PA Murderers Make $3,400 a Month. Terrorists in Israeli prison receive twice or three times the salary of normal PA government workers.

Then, I saw another story on the same site: U.S. Giving PA $148M. The article suggests that it was the price the US paid to get the Palestinians to show up at the peace talks.  The astounding last line of the short report shocked me. “Since 1994, the year that followed the signing of the Oslo accords that created the PA, the Authority has received about $4.3 billion.”

So I wondered how many Palestinians live under the PA West Bank government. I did a simple search and found this article at the site of another Israeli paper, Haaretz. How many Palestinians actually live in the West Bank? The story quotes two sources of population estimates. The PA count is about 2.5 million, but a more realistic count is a million less, at 1.5 million.

The American-Israel Demographic Research Group has been trying for eight years to prove that the Palestinians have managed, with great sophistication, to inflate their true population by 1 million people, and that the real figure currently stands at about 1.5 million people.

(UPDATE August 23 – The numbers in the next paragraph were wrong. The corrected numbers are in red. Please forgive my poor math.)

Let’s do the math using a mid-range of 2 million Palestinians. 4.3 billion dollars over 10 years means 2.15 million dollars (corrected amount is $2,150.00) total for every Palestinian man, woman and child. Then divide that by ten years and you have $215,000.00 per person (corrected amount is $215.00) each year. A family of 5 multiplies that number by 5. Ten family members = 2.15 million dollars (corrected amount is $2,150.00) a year! And this only figures what the US has given, not including the EU, the UN and all the Muslim countries.

What is wrong with this picture? Do you really think the Palestinian leaders want to change the playing field to make peace with Israel? Keep in mind that the people live near the poverty line.

“Thus will I accomplish My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it, that is, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,’ ” says the Lord Yehovah. Ezekiel 13:15-16

Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem, the Messiah! Jesus, the Son of God. Yeshua ben Yehovah!

God’s Way for Israel vs Man’s Way

31 07 2013

GolanThis is a follow-up to last week’s post: A Peace to End All Peace. Here is more clarity about the futility of the present peace process. Israel Today Magazine this week featured the following headline.

PA minister: New peace talks will help us conquer Israel later. The story continues: Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash reassured everyone last week that the political peace process is just a ruse, and part of a larger scheme to defeat their enemy.

The most amazing part of the story is that the sermon was given with President Abbas sitting in attendance and it was broadcast on official Palestinian TV with no denials. Palestinian proclamations in Arabic are routinely missed or ignored by Western media. This example occurs in the same week as the new peace process meetings began in Washington, DC.

Here is an Israel Today Aug 2 update on five flaws of Kerry’s peace process.

My assignment as a Christian Zionist is to declare the Biblical revelation of God’s peace, which is distinctly opposite man’s plans. Here is the Biblical position with my emphasis.

“I will strengthen Judah and save Israel; I will restore them because of my compassion. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am Yehovah their God, who will hear their cries. The people of Israel will become like mighty warriors, and their hearts will be made happy as if by wine. Their children, too, will see it and be glad; their hearts will rejoice in Yehovah. When I whistle to them, they will come running, for I have redeemed them. From the few who are left, they will grow as numerous as they were before. Though I have scattered them like seeds among the nations, they will still remember me in distant lands. They and their children will survive and return again to Israel. I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will resettle them in Gilead and Lebanon until there is no more room for them all. They will pass safely through the sea of distress, for the waves of the sea will be held back, and the waters of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be crushed, and the rule of Egypt will end. By my power I will make my people strong, and by my authority they will go wherever they wish. I, Yehovah, have spoken!” Zechariah 10:6-12 NLT

Impossible!

6 12 2012

palestinianflagThe Palestinian flag will never fly over Israel. Palestinian demands for “peace” are completely impossible. The land has been given by Yehovah God to Israel for an everlasting possession.

“Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Genesis 17:8

Here are the practical reasons:

  1. No Jews allowed in Palestine.
  2. Five million Arabs must be allowed to move into Israel (Yes, Israel, not Palestine).
  3. A land corridor must DIVIDE Israel connecting Gaza and the West Bank, so Palestine will not be divided?!? What?
  4. Palestine borders make Israel indefensible.
  5. The last “talks” were held after Abbas demanded Israel declare a moratorium on building in the West Bank for ten months. Israel succumbed and Abbas still refused for eight months and then demanded Israel extend the moratorium, because two months was too short to talk. I am not making this up. You can see a pattern here. Abbas always adds conditions that are impossible for Israel to meet, although Israel repeatedly states it will meet anytime with no pre-conditions. Yet, the international response is to always condemn Israel for the failure to meet.
  6. Palestine in unilaterally upgraded to observer state status by the UN General Assembly and Israel announces new building projects the same week. Is Palestine condemned for its illegal violations of the Oslo Accords? Of course not, Israel is castigated for building homes for their citizens. The world is “outraged” and the US finds it “unhelpful” and it (building homes) will threaten the peace process! What peace process? The process was cancelled by the Palestinian Authority’s unilateral UN action.

This brings us to the two state solution. It is impossible. It is about Israel’s very right to exist, as a Jewish state, that is at stake here. Even the wisdom of Solomon cannot solve it. Remember the time two mothers claimed the same baby? The real mother refused to cut the baby in half, but lying woman was okay with that.

Some time later two prostitutes came to the king to have an argument settled. “Please, my lord,” one of them began, “this woman and I live in the same house. I gave birth to a baby while she was with me in the house. Three days later this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there were only two of us in the house. “But her baby died during the night when she rolled over on it. Then she got up in the night and took my son from beside me while I was asleep. She laid her dead child in my arms and took mine to sleep beside her. And in the morning when I tried to nurse my son, he was dead! But when I looked more closely in the morning light, I saw that it wasn’t my son at all.” Then the other woman interrupted, “It certainly was your son, and the living child is mine.” “No,” the first woman said, “the living child is mine, and the dead one is yours.” And so they argued back and forth before the king.

Then the king said, “Let’s get the facts straight. Both of you claim the living child is yours, and each says that the dead one belongs to the other. All right, bring me a sword.” So a sword was brought to the king.
Then he said, “Cut the living child in two, and give half to one woman and half to the other!” Then the woman who was the real mother of the living child, and who loved him very much, cried out, “Oh no, my lord! Give her the child—please do not kill him!” But the other woman said, “All right, he will be neither yours nor mine; divide him between us!” Then the king said, “Do not kill the child, but give him to the woman who wants him to live, for she is his mother!” When all Israel heard the king’s decision, the people were in awe of the king, for they saw the wisdom God had given him for rendering justice.            1 Kings 3:16-28 NLT
That is exactly the choice for Israel. The ones who want to divide the Land of Israel for the sake of compromise, or what the world calls “peace,” are lying, and they are not the true heirs.  (from Aviel Schneider in Israel Today Magazine)

UN Dance of Futility

24 09 2011

You start with 57 Muslim nations voting on any issue against one Jewish nation. Add to that the nations intimidated by Islam. No wonder, as Israeli PM Netanyahu pointed out in his UN address yesterday, Israel is always disproportionately condemned. “And it’s here, year after year that Israel is unjustly singled out for condemnation. It’s singled out for condemnation more often than all the nations of the world combined. Twenty-one out of the 27 General Assembly resolutions condemn Israel – the one true democracy in the Middle East.”

Allow me to clarify the issue highlighting key words. First, Chairman Abbas spoke for the Palestinian Authority demanding unilateral recognition as a state without negotiations. The standard he has always maintained for negotiations involved preconditions to which Israel must agree that threaten the very existence of Israel. Netanyahu offered to meet immediately right there in New York with no preconditions.

Later in the day, the Quartet (UN, US, EU and Russia) called for negotiations to resume in one month with no preconditions. Today, the PA has already rejected the Quartet’s plan, demanding the same preconditions. Yet, remarkably, Israel continued to be singled out by the world for being responsible for the failed peace talks.

Folks, this is not that complicated. The bottom line is clear. Israel wants peace. The PA wants Israel to cease to exist. That is the reason nothing Israel gives up for peace is ever enough. Benjamin Netanyahu once famously stated: “if the Arabs lay down their arms there will be no more war, but if Israel lays down its weapons there would be no more Israel.

Yesterday Netanyahu gave a stark reminder of the threat. “Israel’s small dimensions create huge security problems. America can be crossed by jet airplane in six hours. To fly across Israel, it takes three minutes. So is Israel’s tiny airspace to be chopped in half and given to a Palestinian state not at peace with Israel?”

The following scripture sums up it quite well.

Praise God, all you people of Israel; praise Yehovah, the source of Israel’s life. Look, the little tribe of Benjamin leads the way. Then comes a great throng of rulers from Judah and all the rulers of Zebulun and Naphtali. Summon your might, O God. Display your power, O God, as you have in the past. The kings of the earth are bringing tribute to your Temple in Jerusalem. Rebuke these enemy nations—these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves. Make them bring bars of silver in humble tribute. Scatter the nations that delight in war. Let Egypt come with gifts of precious metals; let Ethiopia bow in submission to God. Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. Psalms 68:26-32

Arab Spring/Winter War?

30 05 2011

Great Guest Post – by Bill Salas

In a last ditch effort to politically broker a final Arab state called Palestine, U.S. President Barrack Obama showed his Pro-Palestinian trump card. In May, 2011, with his left hand clenched in a seeming show of American solidarity for Israel’s security, Obama snuck his right hand into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cookie jar, and was caught red-handed attempting to pick-pocket Israel’s most prized possession; their homeland.

Obama’s presidential play prompted Netanyahu to push his poker chips forward, lay all his cards on the table, and shout, “ISRAEL’S ALL IN!” Netanyahu seized the opportunity to call the U.S. President’s and Palestinians bluff. The King of Israel revealed his Royal Flush, leaving little wiggle room for future Mideast peace negotiations.

His strict laundry list of conditions hit at the heart of every Palestinian contention. To the Palestinians, this was nothing short of a declaration of war. BY BILL SALAS   (Read entire article now.)

Visit Bill Salas’ Home page. Bill convinced me (along with current events) that Egypt is one of the confederates in the Psalm 83 War, coming soon! My brand new book, Generation LIGHT, reflects this correction.

Please continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God’s prayer request in Psalm 122. Have a blessed Memorial Day as we give thanks for our brave men and women in uniform who have given their very lives for our liberty.

Holy Jerusalem

15 11 2010

ISRAEL E-CARD Volume 4 Issue 22 November 15, 2010

Topic #1  The Myth of Islam Claiming Jerusalem

Historically speaking, Islam’s claim to Jerusalem is relatively recent, less than 100 years. Jerusalem is mentioned 811 times in the Bible and zero times in the Koran. Today, in fact, the Shiite wing of Islam does not revere Jerusalem.

It is convenient for the Palestinians to exaggerate their claims for political purposes. When Ariel Sharon’s group of 20 people visited the Temple Mount in 2000, it was cleared weeks ahead by Palestinian authorities. Still, Yassar Arafat called for a million martyrs to come and defend Al-Aqsa.

There are two sites in the entire world where Jews are prohibited by a state to pray. One is Mecca in Saudi Arabia and the other is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israel itself bans Jews and Christians prayer to avoid incitement.

Yet, Jerusalem has been seen by Jews and the Bible as their only capital city for over 3,000 years.

Topic # 2   Israeli Navigator Was Messianic

One of the two Israelis killed in last week’s air force accident in the southern Negev region was a Messianic Jew from the Jerusalem suburb of Maaleh Adumim. The funeral of Maj. Emanuel Levi, 30, was Sunday morning in the Israeli capital. Levi was a member of a Messianic congregation in Maaleh Adumim, a town of nearly 30,000 that the world wants evacuated because it is a “Jewish settlement.” (Israel Today 11-14-10)

PM Netanyahu said last week in New Orleans. ”Israel will not be dictated to.” (The Daily Star 11-9-10) He later said in a November 9 formal statement: “Jerusalem is not a settlement.” (Jerusalem Post 11-10-10)

Topic # 3   Update on Motor Home Project

Many thanks to those of you who are helping us purchase a very good  1996 Airstream Land Yacht  motor home for our ministry travels. We have now paid $3,000 to the owner (a brother in Jesus). When we pay another 5K we can take possession and pay the rest at 500 a month for 10 months interest free. Please pray for Yahweh’s remaining provision. Donations can be made at Books and Donations tab, above.

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of Yahweh.” Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together, Where the tribes go up, The tribes of Yahweh, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of Yahweh. For thrones are set there for judgment, The thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of Yahweh our God I will seek your good. Psalm 122

Father of Lies

15 10 2010

ISRAEL E-CARD Volume 4 Issue 20 October 15, 2010

Topic #1  Shocker! Times Square Bomber Lied

Lost in the report of the life sentence handed down, is a profound statement by the bomber himself. “As Shahzad defended his actions, (Judge) Cedarbaum at one point cut him off to ask whether he had sworn allegiance to the United States when he became a U.S. citizen last year. “I did swear, but I did not mean it.” Shahzad said” (Washington Post 10-6).

Most westerners don’t have a clue about basic Islam. The Koran teaches it is OK to lie to infidels. In fact, it is good to lie if it advances Islam. Shahzad was being a good Muslim when he lied to obtain US citizenship. He defrauded our honor system for his terrorist goal of killing some of us. As a citizen he drew less scrutiny. When will our nation wake up? Of course helied, he has the same spirit as his father, the devil. Satan is the father of lies, according to John 8:44. The Islamic concept of taqiyya is their legal basis for lying. (Just Google the word yourself and read up on it).

Topic # 2   Ignoring the Obvious Solution

The fruitless striving for Middle East Peace always overlooks the easiest answer. Combine the oil wealth of the Arab states with the massive uninhabited land area they hold and simply build fabulous new cities and irrigated land and provide unimaginable luxury to the Palestinian “refugees”. Of course we know this won’t work because the real Islamic goal is the elimination of Israel, not “two states for two peoples.”

This was actually suggested by Mike Huckabee during his 2008 presidential campaign. The most recent was this week by an Israeli, Rabbi Dov Lior, head of the Yesha Rabbis’ Council. He announced that he favors the Arab “right of return.” A hush fell upon the audience and he was quick to explain that by “right of return” he meant “the right of all Arabs to return to the Arabian Peninsula.” (Israelnationalnews.com)

For you are the children of your father the Devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning and has always hated the truth. There is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44 NLT

…just because they broke their promises, does that mean God will break his promises? Of course not! Though everyone else in the world is a liar, God is true. Romans 3:3-4 NLT

Humor With a Message

Topic #1  A Cartoon Worth A Thousand Words

Sometimes adding a little humor and satire gets the message across better than straight writing. My favorite Israeli cartoonist is Yaakov Kirschen who has been doing Dry Bones since 1973. I highly recommend that you subscribe to his emailed cartoons. It is free and quite enlightening, especially the background reasons behind the cartoons included with the email. This recent one is completely true to the facts.

Topic # 2   Elisha Vision

Our ministry is called Elisha Vision because we know that God is opening the eyes of His people in these days to see His mighty Hand just as happened with Elisha’s servant.

And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Yahweh, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then Yahweh opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-17

You Kill, We Build

1 09 2010

ISRAEL E-CARD Volume 4 Issue 17 September 1, 2010

Topic # 1   Israeli’s RESTART Building Projects

The Yesha Council, representing all of the Israeli cities and communities in the so-called West Bank (Biblical Judea and Samaria), responded to the Monday terrorist murders of four adults and a baby in the womb by saying: “You Kill, We Build.” This comes four weeks before the end of the building moratorium. The last time I visited Israel we met with some wonderful people who lay their lives on the line for the Zionist dream. 300,000 Israeli’s now call the area home.

It is not primarily a political vision, it is spiritual. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob promised the land to Israel. It is His will. It is the only outcome, no matter what man says or does. Topic #2  The NO PEACE Talks—Odds Stacked 4-1

For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When there is no peace. Jeremiah 8:11 NKJV

There is zero possibility for the peace parley this week in DC to bring actual agreement. The prophetic voice of God is always way ahead of geopolitics. President Obama included Jordan and Egypt in the talks to stack the decks against Israel. Along with Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, when you add in Obama’s bias, the odds are four to one. Imagine every topic going around the table: Israel says no, the others say yes, yes, yes, yes. Israel says yes, the others say no, no, no, no!

They offer superficial treatments for my people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when all is war. Jeremiah 8:11 NLT

These evil prophets deceive my people by saying, `All is peaceful!’ when there is no peace at all! It’s as if the people have built a flimsy wall, and these prophets are trying to hold it together by covering it with whitewash! Ezekiel 13:10 NLT
