Trump Ziklag Prophecy

16 05 2020

The National Day of Prayer prophecy over President Donald Trump was overlooked by many, but has great significance. The President’s personal pastor, Paula White, spoke a powerful prophetic word that he and our nation would “recover all.” This was taken from King David’s heart-cry to God at a time of desperation. When David returned from battle, his camp at Ziklag had been overrun by the enemy who had taken captive the wives and children. David wept and sought God for an answer and guidance. Paula White prophetically applied this same counsel to President Trump, based on this text.

So David inquired of  YEHOVAH, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8

Here is the text of Paula White’s May 7, 2020 word to the President in the Rose Garden at the National Day of Prayer. Several spiritual leaders prayed, but I believe this prayer and prophecy was from God.

“President, one last word,” she said, turning to Trump. “Like David, who had had victory after victory after victory after victory, would face his biggest battle—it was called Ziklag—and they would take his wives and his children and the city would be burned down. And he cried and he wept, and he began to pray out to God, and God gave him a word. And through fasting and praying, I believe this is the word for you and for this nation. The Lord spoke to him and said, ‘Pursue and go after them, and you shall, without fail, recover all.’ Sir, the word of the Lord, I believe, for this nation and this administration is: ‘You will recover all.'” Charisma Magazine

I believe we are at a turning point in the virus/economy crisis. A number of leaders, such as Lance Wallnau, are pointing toward Pentecost on May 31. We need to be in serious intercession for our President, our country, and also for Israel. We are joined with Israel because our President stands with Israel. Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has now been sworn in for his fifth term as Prime Minister. He now faces old legal charges, with the trial starting next week. Pray for his exoneration. Yehovah has the final say!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and continue to faithfully pray for seasonal rains.

A Psalm for President Trump

5 05 2020

Pray for President Trump

Psalm 11 is for President Trump in the days of the Covid 19 virus. Originally written by King David of Israel 3,000 years ago, please open your mind to see that it applies to our President today (and equally to Israel’s PM Netanyahu, and to all God-fearing people). I will go verse by verse with comments between verses.

1. I trust in YEHOVAH for protection. So why do you say to me, “Fly like a bird to the mountains for safety!

“Panic! The sky is falling. The virus is going to kill everybody. Run and hide for safety?” No! Trust in Yehovah God for protection.

2. The wicked are stringing their bows and fitting their arrows on the bowstrings. They shoot from the shadows at those whose hearts are right.

The enemies hide in darkness and shoot down truth, hiding behind these words: “anonymous, high official says, sources tell us, administration officials say, from a department source, many experts say, scientists say, insiders report, survey says, poll concludes, renown commentator wrote, my contacts say, allegedly.” Learn to recognize these words. They are words from the shadows.

3. The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?”

We can do the most effective remedy…trust God. It is time to wake up, stand up, and speak up for the righteousness of the living God YEHOVAH and His Son Jesus, Yeshua ben Yehovah!

4. But YEHOVAH is in his holy Temple; YEHOVAH still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.

This is God’s safety promise. Some officials act like gods. Hitler started by tracing Jews in Nazi Germany: Churchgoers Must Register With the Government in Kansas City – May 1, 2020  Kansas City, Missouri, officials are now requiring every church to submit a list of members and attendees along with their names, addresses and telephone numbers to city officials for tracking and surveillance purposesUPDATE: KANSAS CITY MAYOR REVERSES ORDER

5. YEHOVAH examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence.

But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said. They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them. Jude 17-19 NLT

6. He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galations 6:7

7. For the righteous YEHOVAH loves justice. The virtuous will see his face.

…and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, YEHOVAH, are among these people; that You, YEHOVAH, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. Numbers 14:14

Pray for President Trump. Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu. Pray for rain in Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Follow-up to Isaiah 45

1 02 2020

Trump-Israel

This week I posted my commentary on the impeachment, related to the Trump/Cyrus links in Isaiah 45. Please read it if you missed it the first time. But I want to add three particular points from verse 13:

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; he shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward,” says Yehovah of hosts. Isaiah 45: 13

  1. The righteousness here does not refer to Cyrus (or Trump). Cyrus was a pagan king. The prophetic voice of Yehovah God to Isaiah/Israel was pre-empting their natural rejection of God using a Gentile. God was saying that He, Yehovah, is doing this “in righteousness.” It is His own plan fulfilled using Cyrus. King Cyrus’ (or Trump’s) righteousness is not relevant. It is God’s purpose. Yehovah is doing it.
  2. Next, Cyrus will build Jerusalem and free the captives of Babylon. Remember that this prophecy used the name of Cyrus over one hundred years before he was born, thus the extraordinary explanation ahead of time. President Trump’s declaration for Jerusalem is well documented. The American exiled Jews also fit the analogy, though it requires explanation. There are more Jews in Israel than America. This was not true only 20 years ago. God is calling American Jews to Israel. Not all Jews in America will return, but that is another story. (See Ezekiel 20:33-38. This passage reveals that the Jews scattered to the countries will end up in a place called “the wilderness of the peoples” which, given the historical reality, refers to America.)
  3. Finally, Cyrus will do this “not for price or reward.” He did it because God motivated him. He got nothing in return. In fact, he lost many productive citizens of Persia and great wealth carried to Jerusalem. President Trump does not even keep his $400,000 salary. He is doing his job “not for price or reward.” He is mightily opposed by some powerful nations and even within the United States.

My conclusion is that these current global and Middle East geo-political events have their source in God, far above politics or personalities. He is restoring Jerusalem in our time. Yehovah God Himself is doing this today “in righteousness!” Are you with Him or against Him?

Here is a good look at the peace plan from Mike Evans,  a #1 New York Times bestselling author with 100 published books. He is the founder of Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem of which the late President Shimon Peres, Israel’s ninth president, was the chair. He also serves as a founding member on the Trump Evangelical Faith Initiative and has 70 million Facebook followers on the Jerusalem Prayer Team.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

United Nations

18 09 2017

This week is the UN General Assembly. You may like this video warning about the UN’s bias against Israel. It was recorded by a young Israeli from a so-called “settlement” in the West Bank, known as Judea and Samaria in the Bible. Pray for God’s purpose of restoration for Israel.

President Trump met with PM Netanyahu today (Monday) and will speak to the General Assembly tomorrow morning. Netanyahu will speak tomorrow afternoon. Pray that they will be on the same page and speak what Yehovah God wants them to say.

This is a very prophetically pregnant week with the Feast of Trumpets/Rosh haShana beginning Wednesday night/Thursday.  This is the first of the Fall feasts, followed by Yom Kippur and Tabernacles. Thursday also happens to be the United Nations Day of Peace and Safety. I am not making this up.

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yehovah and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:1-6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

So…, Trump. Now What? How to Pray.

18 11 2016

trump-prayer-shawlPraying for President-elect Trump is an opportunity for me to explain a wider concept of intercessory prayer. Have you heard of prophetic intercession? It is a completely different approach to prayer. A friend and brother recently asked for my thoughts on the subject; and it seems worthy of sharing more widely. Contrast prophetic intercession with what I call “pathetic” intercession. Please don’t whine when you talk to God. Prayer is conversation with God; so be adult about it. He has made certain promises which He expects us to remind Him about, and hold Him to them. Pray with a basis for expecting Him to do what we ask because He said He would.

Praying for the new President and “leader of the free world” is a sobering assignment and is not for the faint of heart. The future of our country, Israel and indeed the world is at stake. So, let’s look at a few simple ideas about prophetic prayer.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. Romans 13:1-2

Prophetic Intercession – a Twelve Step Plan

  1. Pray into what God has already declared He will do.
  2. Prayers are answered if you pray what God wants.
  3. Don’t whine or beg; but agree with God.
  4. Authority is from above; God’s heart, not your heart. (King David Acts 13:22)
  5. Pathetic intercession is about what I want (general, all about me).
  6. Prophetic intercession is targeted (specific, God’s plan). Example: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
May they prosper who love you. Psalm 122:6 This is a prayer God will answer.
  7. What do you see God doing? Pray into that.
  8. What do you hear God saying? Pray into that.
  9. What has God already said and done? Base your request accordingly.
  10. Requires scriptural foundation.
  11. Requires hearing the Holy Spirit
  12. Requires seeing by the Holy Spirit (Elisha and his servant 2 Kings 6): eyes to “see”.

And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:19-21
