Yes, I said 1967 lies, not 1967 lines. President Obama today totally and shamelessly moved the United States of America into direct violation of Joel 3:2, the consequences of which will bring fearful calamities on America. I am not making this up. He proclaimed this seismic shift in US policy, at a time when this nation has suffered six weeks of continuous tragedies already, including two rounds of killer tornadoes, fires in Texas and now flooding in the Mississippi River and delta. I use the word seismic with great trepidation since earthquake is the one natural disaster we have not seen. To quote Thomas Jefferson, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.
Let’s look deeper into Joel 3:2. I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.
First, note that the historical timing of this event is clear from verse one; it is after God has regathered Israel from all the nations into their own land. The reason for the prophesied judgment of God is simple. The nations have divided His land.
Israel is now 45 miles wide; the entire country is only 45 miles wide! Reverting to the 1967 pre-war borders would make Israel 8 (EIGHT!) miles wide. What is wrong with this picture? President Obama has agreed to the Palestinian pre-condition demanded by Yassar Arafat. This division of the land would assure Israel’s destruction by the growing menace of radical Islam surrounding them. With friends like President Obama, who needs enemies?
Abbas, leader of the West Bank Palestinian Authority, wrote a New York Times Op-Ed wherein he rewrote history. He openly lied about history claiming that Israel attacked the Arabs in 1948, when the facts are utterly clear from recorded history. The UN voted Israel as a nation one day and the next day seven Arab armies invaded Israel to drive her into the sea. Three of those nations are still in a state of war with Israel since that time. Egypt and Jordan, who later made treaties, are about to break them.
The world is also rewriting the history of 1967. Again, Israel was drawn into war by invading armies. When the dust settled, Israel had a miraculous victory and control of more land (Gaza, West Bank, the Sinai and the Golan Heights). President Obama thinks it is a good idea for Israel to give it all back so they can try again. Either way, there will be war. Obama’s speech simply moves up the timing.
Helen Thomas was wrong. The Jews will not “go back where they came from.” There is no other place for them. Israel is their land and they are there to stay, not by UN permission, but by the authority of Almighty Yehovah God and His unbreakable promise.

(Dear reader, I have included the following text as evidence of God’s purpose This prophecy was spoken by God to the Land itself! This was the theme of my first book, Prophesy To The Land!)
“And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Yehovah! Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,’ therefore prophesy, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people”— therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yehovah! Thus says the Lord Yehovah to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around— therefore thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with wholehearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country.’
“Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.” Therefore thus says the Lord Yehovah: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame. But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come. For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am Yehovah.Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, My people Israel; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their inheritance; no more shall you bereave them of children.”
‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “Because they say to you, ‘You devour men and bereave your nation of children,’ therefore you shall devour men no more, nor bereave your nation anymore,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Nor will I let you hear the taunts of the nations anymore, nor bear the reproach of the peoples anymore, nor shall you cause your nation to stumble anymore,” says the Lord Yehovah.’ ” Ezekiel 36:1-15.
Free from God
7 01 2013Yesterday we had an amazing Bible class at Covenant International Church. We have been studying Jeremiah and the Holy Spirit came upon us in power over one profound verse. Even though I was the teacher, I was speechless for over a minute, with tears, in the presence of our holy God, Yehovah. The class likewise experienced the weight of His glory.
We were looking at the reaction of Judah’s King Zedekiah, to Jeremiah’s prophecy of Jerusalem’s destruction and exile to Babylon. The King proclaimed liberty for all the slaves and they even came together in the temple making a covenant. All the people agreed and released their slaves. However, they soon reversed course and took their slaves back.
Therefore Yehovah released them from Himself!
Therefore thus says Yehovah: “You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother and every one to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim liberty to you,” says Yehovah–“to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine! And I will deliver you to trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth.” Jeremiah 34:17
The magnitude of this settled on the class in such a sober, holy revelation that it took our breath away. God gave them liberty from Himself! Since they found it objectionable to follow His ways, He released them from His mercy, His protection, His provision and His peace. He set them free to experience the sword, pestilence, famine and trouble! This is not the kind of liberty we usually think of with our Heavenly Father. Do you want to be free from God? Do you choose the “liberty” to do as you please in sin and disobedience? Or, do you choose the constraints of the narrow path of His righteousness through Christ Jesus, Messiah Yeshua?
For many years I have posed a question about justice and mercy. Given that the Bible is clear that we have all sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God, and that we deserve death, here is my question to you. Do you demand that God gives you justice, that is, that God gives you exactly what you deserve? Or do you cry out from your heart for grace and mercy? I see this similar question, of liberty from walking with God, as a fool’s bargain. I don’t want it, I choose to be His servant: willingly, lovingly, eternally bound to Him.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17
This last season of history is presenting these same choices to men and nations. I grieve when it seems that our beloved USA chooses liberty from God over His honor and glory. The choice offered by God is also for Israel and for every nation. God help us. Still, as for me and my house….
And if it seems evil to you to serve Yehovah, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve Yehovah. Joshua 24:15
Let the priests, who minister to Yehovah, weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Yehovah, and do not give Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, “Where is their God?” Joel 2:17

(As is my custom, I have taken the liberty to change the word “LORD” to Yehovah. Every single time you see LORD or GOD in all capital letters in the Old Testament, the actual Hebrew word is Yehovah. This name occurs 6,828 times in the Hebrew text, yet remains untranslated in most Bibles. His name, obscured for 2,500 years, is now being revealed. It is TIME to restore the name of Yehovah!)
