How to Pray for Iran

My prayer is that God will cause the Islamic Revolutionary Guards and the Basij murderers to turn on one another. Our attention has been on Jeremiah 49:34-39. I explained Jeremiah’s prophecy in my February 19th post: Trump’s Iran Timeline.

Today please consider the Biblical pattern of God’s intervention in man’s wars. I am applying this to Iran based on Jeremiah announcing in verses 37-38:

“I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says Yehovah; ‘And I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them. I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says Yehovah.”

Yehovah God Himself will bring disaster on the wicked rulers of Elam/Iran. This Divine intervention is seen as a Biblical pattern. Several times in history God has brought victory to His people by causing the enemies to turn and fight each other to the death! Gideon and 300 men defeated a massive Midianite army this way. Secondly, Psalm 83 is a prayer that God would defeat His enemies just as He did with Gideon. Third, King Saul’s son Jonathan and his armor-bearer attacked a Philistine outpost who killed one another in fear and panic. A fourth example is one of my favorite Bible stories, the time King Jehoshaphat was victorious over three armies without using one weapon! Singers and worshippers were sent in front of the army.

“Now when they began to sing and to praise, Yehovah set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-24

So, since God is going to set His throne in the hearts of Iranians, we should pray that the Biblical pattern will emerge. Pray that the terrorist jihadis will turn on each other. You can be sure that God’s hand is on this war and the outcome is certain. Father, let your will be done in Iran. Let there be peace in the Middle East and Israel according to you Word..

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the salvation of Iran!

Ten Sensational Words

Did I get your attention? It’s all about clicks. Words have become currency to seduce the reader to check out the post. These words are not used because they best describe the story. They are used to amplify the story beyond its actual importance. Today I am straying from news commentary to the way words are misused in the news. Here is my list for just the last two days. You could add ten more of your own.

INSANE! STUNNED! NIGHTMARE! UNPRECEDENTED! SHOCKING! MASSIVE! INCINERATED! DEVASTATED! DECIMATED! OBLITERATED! Help me, I can’t stop… ANNIHILATED! DISINTEGRATED! RAVISHED! SMASHED! CRAZY! Okay, I’ll stop. Do you see what I mean? This is all over the news and Facebook and every internet poser. Do you remember something called “civil discourse?” Can’t we communicate anymore without such exaggerations? Seriously, this is a real problem.

There was a popular subculture movie that became a cult classic back in the 1980’s called The Princess Bride. One character kept saying each unfolding event was “inconceivable!” Finally, another character observed: “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” It just didn’t fit each event. All these sensational word examples are real words; they just don’t apply as often as they are used. Only use the words that truly apply. Today’s culture is lazy, using MASSIVE exaggerations instead of the truth. The Bible warns us about this kind of speech.

“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37

“Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk,” 1 Timothy 1:5-6

“For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.” 2 Peter 2:3

“But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37

Words matter. I believe the Lord would have us be precise in our communication, strong, but clear. People need to trust our words. Let us resolve to speak honestly and with love to one another that God is glorified.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and specifically pray for the Iranian citizens as they proceed to take back their country from the jihadist Islamic occupiers of the last 47 years. Those blessing Israel will be blessed!

Present Times Prophecy

End times prophecy is different than present times prophecy. Some scholars are trying to figure out all the beasts, and trumpets, and earthquakes, and wars, and timing of future events. That may be an appropriate lane for them, but I love finding prophetic promises that are being fulfilled in the present time. For some time now I have been excited to discover what I call “This is that!” moments.

It is when we discover a prophecy from thousands of years ago being fulfilled in our day. On the day of Pentecost, Peter saw the outpouring of God’s Spirit and recognized it was the exact fulfillment of the prophet Joel’s prophecy in Joel 2:28-32. Peter then quoted five verses from Joel as proof that what was happening came from God.

“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel.” Joel 2:14-16

We see the same today. Peter did not prophesy, he recognized the ancient prophecy. We are capable of the same. I have shared several of these exciting moments of history. Psalm 102 describes the Holocaust and then declares that it signaled the restoration of Israel which happened in the same time frame of 1940-1948. Psalm 83 describes Arab nations attacking Israel and losing, which occurred in the first 50 years of modern Israel. In Luke 21:24 Jesus prophesied the downfall and restoration of Jerusalem which happened in 70AD and 1967, respectively. Amos saw three wars from Gaza and a fourth which would be their end in Amos 1:6-7. which specifically relates to the Gaza/Hamas War. Lately, we recognize Jeremiah 49:34-39 being precisely fulfilled in the current Iran war today! Yehovah God has a purpose for prophecy. It is not to confuse us or cause fear, but to bring comfort, knowing that He is directly involved.

“Prophecy was not delivered to academic elites. It was given to shepherds, farmers, merchants, elders, young converts, and small congregations navigating real-world pressures. It was never meant to intimidate believers. It was meant to steady them. God does not reveal the future to confuse His people. Throughout Scripture, prophecy functions as preparation, warning, and comfort. When God speaks about what is coming, He does so because He wants His people to be ready, not rattled. Amos wrote, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). Jesus told His disciples, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matthew 24:25). Later He added, “These things I have told you before they come, that when they do come to pass, you may believe” (John 14:29). Prophecy strengthens faith by removing surprise. When events unfold exactly as spoken, belief is reinforced rather than shaken. Isaiah records the Lord declaring, “I am God… declaring the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:9-10). The future is not unfolding randomly. It is unfolding according to divine decree.” Christian News Watch

Fear not! God has everything under control according to His Divine purpose. Jesus promised He would never leave us or forsake us. Hang in there. Be encouraged when you see God performing His word. He has a plan and He will complete it according to His eternal word. Trust God! Biblical events are happening!

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray that God’s people will see His hand on Israel, Iran, and the nations.

God’s Throne in Iran

What is God doing in Iran? The war news is full of bombs and explosions that make for must-watch TV. But this is not your typical war. As I have explained the last few weeks, this is a major historical turning point when viewed through Jeremiah 49. Today I want to zoom in on God’s purpose in verse 38. So far, the extremely low number of casualties is nothing short of miraculous. Americans are understandably concerned, but I believe this is a short war that will see amazing success.

“I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says Yehovah.” Jeremiah 49:38

For several years now we have seen reports of three million or more Iranians turning from Islam to Jesus. Iran has the fastest growing church in the world, in spite of meeting underground. This verse predicted the destruction of the king (ayatollah) and his princes (IRGC). We have already seen the “king” destroyed and the IRGC is being destroyed day by day. (By the way, IRGC is “Islamic” Revolutionary Guard Corp, not “Iranian.”)

The great promise of Yehovah God through Jeremiah is to establish His throne in Iran (Elam). Of course, He is not moving His physical throne from Jerusalem, but He is being enthroned in the hearts of Iranians as each person chooses the God of Israel. This will also necessarily lead to a great relationship between Iran and Israel. Also, most Arab nations will join the Abraham Accords, including Saudi Arabia. My opinion is that the Iranian Crown Prince will lead a transitional government and elections for leaders chosen legally by vote of the Iranian people.

Once again God manifests His faithfulness to keep every promise in His Word. God is faithful and never breaks His covenant, from salvation to His presence, every promise made is fulfilled in His perfect timing.

“Not a word failed of any good thing which Yehovah had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” Joshua 21:45

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 2:9

Don’t fear the outcome of this Iran war. God is establishing His throne! Pray for the Iranians that they will see their Messiah and turn from pagan Islam to the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for President Trump and PM Netanyahu for wisdom and courage to do the right thing.

Trump’s Iran Timeline

President Trump has given several indications of his timeline, but does the Bible agree? When he met with Bibi Dec 29th in Mar-A-Largo they spoke of a “two month timeline.” Today he spoke of a ten day window. Both refer to action by the end of this month. On Jan 4th I spoke at Grace Assembly on: “Turning the Page.” I believe we are at global prophetic turning point at the scale of the fall of the Berlin wall, the 1948 return of the state of Israel, and the Israeli capture of old Jerusalem in the 1967 Six Day War. Eliminating Iran and its terrorist proxies will usher in an extraordinary time of peace for Israel and the Middle East. But I don’t conclude that from geo-political events, but rather from the Bible.

For some time I have seen this coming season of peace from the conditions Ezekiel revealed about Israel dwelling “without walls” at the time of the Gog & Magog invasion of Ezekiel 38. The removal of Iran as a threat to Israel and the region is necessary to meet Ezekiel’s description. Recently I have seen a clear prophecy of Iran in Jeremiah 49:34-39.

“Judgment on Elam – 34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ​‘​Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, ​​The foremost of their might. 36 ​​Against Elam I will bring the four winds ​​From the four quarters of heaven, ​​And scatter them toward all those winds; ​​There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37 ​​For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies ​​And before those who seek their life. ​​I will bring disaster upon them, ​​My fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ​‘​And I will send the sword after them ​​Until I have consumed them. 38 ​​I will set My throne in Elam, ​​And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the LORD. 39 ​‘​But it shall come to pass in the latter days: ​​I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the LORD.”

Here is a very short overview. First, note that Elam refers to the whole nation of Iran (scroll down to the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee lexicon entry). Second, note that the verses are chronological beginning with v. 35, the overthrow of the Shah in 1979, followed by Iranians exiled to all countries in v.36. These two events have happened. Verse 37 brings us to the present where evil leaders will be consumed by the sword which is sent by Yehovah Himself. Also during this time God sets His throne there. You have probably heard reports that three million or more Iranians have turned to Jesus, giving Him the throne over their lives. One report said that there may be more Christians now in Iran than Muslims. The last verse then declares the return of the exiles and that it occurs in the “last days.” Hallelujah!

This is happening soon. It may not be in ten days, but it is God’s plan. Pray for protection for the Iranian freedom lovers, Israel, our U.S forces, and the surrounding nations.

Decision Time

8 01 2026

While Americans are consumed with news about Venezuela and Minnesota something profound is happening in Iran and Gaza. I believe the first two months of 2026 will witness major prophetic events. Of course the Western hemisphere is important, but let’s focus on the Middle East. The Egypt/Gaza border is about to open, releasing over a million Gaza civilians to flee the war zone for the first time. This will lead to Israel disarming and finally defeating Hamas. At the same time, Iran is on the brink and will finally have regime change. Demonstrations now involve over 130 cities and growing, with reports of even military and security forces defecting. Multiple sources are reporting that the Ayatollah has plans to escape to Russia. Decisions are being made in Jerusalem, Washington, Venezuela, Iran, and many places that will prove to be the fulfillment of God’s plan. It is exciting to be alive at this time to pray in agreement with God.

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yehovah is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. Yehovah also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; But Yehovah will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”  Joel 3:14-16

There have been specific times in history where Yehovah God Himself intervenes to fulfill His prophetic promises. I refer to those times as God “turning the page.” This is such a time. Above human events there is a Divine moment where God’s hand touches earth. Just as Peter recognized Pentecost as: “This is that” which was prophesied by Joel, we are in a “this is that” moment. Last Sunday I spoke at Grace Assembly of God in Wake Forest on the subject: “It’s Time to Turn the Page!” (Here is the video link. Scroll down halfway and the message starts at 37 min.) Don’t miss the time of God’s visitation. Do you see His hand, or are you fearfully only seeing man’s feeble rebellion? As the cliche goes: “I have read the end of the Book. We win!”

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the momentous decisions by nations, leaders, and by people.

The Unthinkable 12 Day War

There is no question that no one saw it coming. Defeating Iran in 12 days, crippling Hezbollah with pagers and walkie talkies, the fall of Syria’s dictator, Lebanon reborn, Hamas on the ropes? Unthinkable! That word can be applied to each of those events. I remember a line from the Princess Bride movie: “You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means.” Shall we keep going? How about the soon major expansion of the Abraham Accords including Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and others? How many events can be unthinkable one after the other? There is only one explanation for all of these amazing results. God is supernaturally working! He has a plan and a promise. He is faithfully fulfilling His word. We live in Biblical times. Time and again throughout the Scriptures God delivered His people from their enemies. He is doing it again today. Consider Joshua of old… or Netanyahu and Trump today.

“And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, ‘Your eyes have seen all that Yehovah your God has done to these two kings; so will Yehovah do to all the kingdoms through which you pass. ‘You must not fear them, for Yehovah your God Himself fights for you.’ “Then I pleaded with Yehovah at that time, saying: ‘O Lord Yehovah, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do anything like Your works and Your mighty deeds?”  Deuteronomy 3:22-24

God fights for Israel and blesses those who bless Israel! Israel’s War of Independence in 1948 was won against the Arab Legion of seven Arab armies. The amazing and miraculous Six Day War in June 1967 was by the hand of God. And now the humiliating defeat of a terror superpower in twelve days demonstrates again the intervening, almighty power of the living God. This truly is a defeat of the pagan god of Islam. Their chant of “Allah Akbar” is always mistranslated in Western media. It is not “god is great.” They say their god is the “greatest.” It has always been a spiritual war. It may not be over, but our God Yehovah is advancing! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the true, living, and faithful Father God!

Keep praying for God’s Kingdom to advance. There are many more to be saved! Pray for the true peace of Jerusalem, Yeshua Sar Shalom/Jesus Prince of Peace.

The Rising Lion of Iran

Notice the two different flags, followed by a meme sent to the Iranian people by Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu was suggesting to the Iranian people that it is time for them to rise up and take back their country!

“The Iranian red, white and green flag exists in two versions: One represents the Islamic regime with the stylized red symbol which represents the name “Allah” written in Arabic and also symbolizes the value of being a martyr for the jihadi cause. The other shows a lion and a sun, from the time of the Shah before the Islamic takeover in 1978-9.”  One For Israel

Netanyahu named the military attack on Iran as: Operation Rising Lion. It has a dual meaning. One is that Israel, the Lion of Judah, is arising. But also that Iran can rise.

He quoted Numbers 23:24 “Look, a people rises like a lioness, and lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain.”

This verse is from the time when the false prophet Balaam tried to curse Israel but he could not. He could only speak blessing. I believe even now when Iran and much of the world is trying to curse Israel, they will fail. God has commanded the blessing and restoration of Israel and it cannot be reversed! Hallelujah! The meme of the lion standing upright over an Israeli fighter jet conveys the message. Notice the sun behind the lion in the original Iran flag and the meme. It is a clear call for the Iranian people to rise up like a lion.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Iran! May Yehovah God bring not only peace, but also salvation to Jews, Arabs, Persians, and all the surrounding people.

Riots, Iran, and the Bible

Rumors of riots in America, and Iran is about to explode, yet God is in control. Whether you consider a major geopolitical crisis or a personal crisis in your own life, faith in God is your anchor. For many years we have sung this simple chorus:

“This is the day…This is the day… That the Lord has made…That the Lord has made. We will rejoice…We will rejoice… and be gland in it, and be glad in it.”

But, do you know that this little song is in the Bible? As we watch the clock run out on Iran and the inevitable destruction of their nuclear program, there is comfort in Scripture. God is in control every day, not just the good days when everything is going well. We must not fear the unknown.  It is only unknown to us, not to God. He sees the end from the beginning and He has a plan. He knows. Where is this song in the Bible and what is the context? Did you know Jesus sang this song at the Last Supper, His Passover meal with the disciples?

“This is the day the LORD (Yehovah) has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”  Psalm 118:24

“In Mark 14, we’re told that Jesus and his disciples celebrated Passover and sang a hymn before going out to the garden of Gethsemane. So what hymn did they sing? Rabbinic tradition going back to the time of Jesus records that during Passover, Jewish people sang Psalm 113-118, a collection of songs known as the Passover Hallel.”  Bible Project

Psalm 118 is talking about the Messiah Yeshua and ends instructing the sacrifice be bound to the altar and indicates that this reveals that God is good! The worst moment in Jesus’ life and the apparent victory of Satan shows the goodness of Yehovah! His death on the cross is good! It is the provision of salvation for all who will believe in Him. The little chorus we sing is directly pointing to the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. This is the day to be glad and rejoice. This day of Jesus’ death is victory over death!

“God is Yehovah, and He has given us light; ​​Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. ​​You are my God, and I will praise You; ​​You are my God, I will exalt You. ​​Oh, give thanks to Yehovah, for He is good! ​​For His mercy endures forever.”  Psalm 118:27-29

Jesus Himself sang those words just hours before His temptation in Gethsemane’s Garden and His crucifixion. He knew the Father’s plan. He obeyed to the end and became the Savior of the world. THAT day was the most important day in history. So, be sure to see current world events and even your own personal events from God’s perspective. Is God worried about Iran and Israel, or riots in Los Angeles? No, and He can handle what you are going through. It does not always appear that things are heading in the right direction, but God is in control! Do not yield to the spirit of fear, but rather yield to the Holy Spirit of Yehovah God. Trust in God! Why Iran Terrorism Will End

Iran’s domination is out of prophetic timing. This Saturday is a pivotal meeting with the US and Iran of Biblical importance. Two sequential Israel prophesies apply to our current events. For several years I have maintained that Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 guide us to understand the attack timing of Israel’s enemies. These two passages are unique in that they each include a list of the nations who are against Israel. Psalm 83 names the Arab nations that surround Israel today. Those countries have been attacking Israel since 1948. The list in Ezekiel 38 is a completely different list. No country is in both lists. Iran is not listed in Psalm 83. Therefore, its prominence is premature. Yes, it will attack as part of the Gog/Magog war, but that follows a time of unprecedented peace in Israel. (See my post: “Before Gog and Magog.”)

I believe there will be a time of extraordinary peace for Israel after the defeat of Iran and their terror proxies very soon. If you notice the early verses of Ezekiel 38, Israel enjoys an amazing peace just before the Gog & Magog invasion. Verse 8 tells the timing. The attack comes after Israel is regathered from the nations. That time is now! Note the phrases in bold:

“After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.”  Ezekiel 38:8

“You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.’”  Ezekiel 38:10

“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?”  Ezekiel 38:10

Seven references in these three verses declare the degree of peace and security Israel will be enjoying at the time of that invasion. These conditions have not been true at any time since 1948,

“They all dwell safely. Unwalled villages. Peaceful people. Dwell safely. Without walls. Having neither bars nor gates. My people Israel dwell safely.”

I believe Israel (possibly with our help) will defeat Iran and its terror proxies soon and usher in a time of peace described in the above verses. To experience such peace and security, Israel must not be threatened in any way during that season. Pray for the meeting this Saturday between the US and Iran.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for Trump and Netanyahu for Godly counsel, courage, and action to do the right thing.

The October 7, 2023 massacre of 1,200 Israelis initiated a massive change in the Middle East that fulfills ancient Bible prophesies. Hamas thought they would destroy Israel, but the opposite happened. Hamas is nearly destroyed and shockingly led to the near elimination of Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. Iran is now clearly facing the same ultimate defeat.

My heart is to understand what God is doing in the world and especially Israel events today. My weekly blog here at ElishaVision.com and my weekly YouTube video prophetic updates are both inspired by this verse declaring the particular gift of one the twelve tribes of Israel, the tribe of Issachar. My goal is that we believers would be sons and daughters of Issachar for our day.

It appears that we are getting close to Israel and perhaps even the US bombing Iran soon. Keep praying for God’s will to be heard and obeyed by both Bibi and Trump. At the same time, Israel has moved three divisions into Gaza to finish the war!

Is a massive US-Israeli attack coming soon on Iran’s nuclear program? – A growing number of signs suggest answer is yes. Trump told reporters, “We are down to final strokes with Iran. We are down to the final moments. We can’t let them have a nuclear weapon. Something is going to happen very soon. I would rather have a peace deal than the other option, but the other option will solve the problem.”

IDF taking Gaza territory, as Hamas refuses to release hostages, Netanyahu says – (April 2, 2025 / JNS) The Israeli prime minister also announced that the Israeli military was seizing the Morag Corridor in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces is seizing territory in the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas’s refusal to release the remaining 59 hostages, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Wednesday.

Before Gog and Magog

There is a rush to declare that the prophesied Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog war is now happening or is imminent. With the fall of Syria a wave of excitement surged through students of Bible prophecy. However, it is premature. There are several conditions that must be met before that invasion. Certainly prophecies are being fulfilled right before our eyes, but all the players are not yet in position for that event. The danger of jumping ahead to that war is that we miss what Yehovah God is doing in the interim. Remember that are view must be informed by Scripture over political events. Here are some prerequisites that must be in place before Gog and Magog. Much more could be said about each point.

Players – Israel must be at real peace. Turkey must be out of NATO. Iran must fall and come back later. Sudan must leave the Abraham Accords, Libya must emerge as a threat. Jordan/East Bank must be more solidly with Israel. Judea and Samaria/West Bank must be at peace with no terrorists and probably annexed into Israel.

Prophecies – Egypt and Syria must join with Israel and build a highway connecting the three, Isaiah 19. Damascus must be destroyed and never be a city again, Isaiah 17. Contrast between coalition countries named in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38. No country in both lists.

Progress – Saudi Arabia must make peace with Israel. Abraham Accords must expand quickly. Mt. Sinai in Saudi Arabia must be recognized as the mountain of Moses and lead to huge tourism jointly with Israel Isaiah 60:6-7. Some Palestinians will emigrate to other countries, those remaining will be happy citizens of Israel. Gaza will be annexed.

Will Syria become a battleground between Turkey and Israel?

“After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  Luke 10:1-2

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.”  John 4:35-36

This last great time of peace will see a world wide awakening to the Gospel of Jesus. Pray that you can do your part in this great harvest time!

Trump’s Win and Israel

(Greetings from my ministry trip in Idaho)

What does the Trump victory mean for Israel? Most Israelis are rejoicing. His previous term was great for Israel. He moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem, recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capitol, and recognized the Golan as part of Israel. But the biggest was concluding the Abraham Accords, paving the way to peace and economic cooperation with several Arab nations. I have predicted for several months that a Trump win would lead to Saudi Arabia joining the Accords by the end of March. We will see if it happens that fast. When the Saudis join several more countries will soon follow.

I believe there will be a time of extraordinary peace for Israel after the defeat of Iran and their terror proxies very soon. If you notice the early verses of Ezekiel 38, Israel is at an amazing peace just before the Gog & Magog invasion. Verse 8 tells the timing. The attack comes after Israel is regathered from the nations. That time is now! Note the phrases in bold:

“After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.”  Ezekiel 38:8

“You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.’”  Ezekiel 38:10

“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?”  Ezekiel 38:10

Seven references in these three verses declare the degree of peace and security Israel will be enjoying at the time of that invasion. These conditions have not been true at any time since 1948,

  1. They all dwell safely.
  2. Unwalled villages.
  3. Peaceful people.
  4. Dwell safely.
  5. Without walls.
  6. Having neither bars nor gates.
  7. My people Israel dwell safely.

I believe Israel will defeat Iran and its terror proxies soon and usher in a time of peace described in the above verses. To experience such peace and security, Israel must not be threatened in any way during that season. You can understand that they cannot relax for some time even after the victory.

It follows that Israel will therefore need to take out Iran’s nuke threat. I believe that action is imminent. Hamas is virtually defeated. Hezbollah’s arsenal has been depleted by 80% according to the IDF and all the top 18 leaders have been eliminated. In addition, over 5,000 of their mid-level commanders have been removed by the genius pager and walkie talkie attacks. This all happened in the last six weeks. Israel’s victorious advantage will continue to the end with Yehovah God’s help.

Finally, the stage is set for Israel to win just as President Trump returns. He said in his acceptance speech that God had spared him from the assassination attempts for a purpose. Let us pray that he will boldly lead our nation to stand foursquare with Israel in the fulfillment of God’s eternal promises. Shalom, shalom.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, wisdom for their leaders, protection for the troops, and salvation for Jews and Arabs alike in the name of Yeshua ben Yehovah!

Surprising Iran/Yom Kippur

Friday sundown is the start of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement for Jews. It is a time of sober repentance and soul searching. This year Israel is preparing a devastating response to Iran’s attacks of April 13 and October 1. They sent over 500 ballistic missiles at the sovereign state of Israel in an unprovoked attack simply because the Ayatollah hates Jews. This was more ballistic missiles fired than any time in history. Only by Israel’s defenses and the miracle protection of Yehovah God did Israel escape with no fatalities.

Saturday is a double Shabbat, so I don’t expect Israel to attack before Sunday. However, Israel’s Defense Minister Gallant warned of a surprise so pay attention and pray! He says Iran won’t know what happened or how it happened! Wow! Stay tuned.

Gallant: “When we respond, Iran won’t know what happened or how it happened” – Defense Minister Gallant says during a visit to the Intelligence Directorate: “The Iranian attack was aggressive but imprecise, our response will be powerful, precise and surprising.”

You may think that is bravado, except in the context of the beeper and walkie-talkie hit on Hezbollah last month. Israel has been preparing for Iran for over 20 years. Iran simply cannot be allowed to have nukes and they are on the brink by all reports. Add to this the fact that Yehovah has promised His protection. Already many are saying this Israeli turn around from one month ago is historic. It is compared to the 1948 miracle victory, and the miraculous Six Day War defeat of five Arab armies with the Hand of God. 

Remember I have been saying for several years that this is not Iran’s prophetic time. They will be prominent in the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. There must be a time of peace preceding that war beyond anything yet experienced by modern Israel. (Please, just carefully read Ezek. 38:1-11 describing Israel’s extraordinary peace at the time of that invasion.)

What seemed impossible a month ago is now happening. We are seeing the defeat of the Iranian terror proxies Hamas and Hezbollah and the others. This leaves Iran at their most vulnerable since 1979. One more thing to watch is the destruction of Damascus of Isaiah 17. It could be imminent.

If I am right, and if Trump wins, expect Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords by the end of March, along with several other countries. I am not prophesying, just connecting the dots. Let’s watch and pray together. God has helped throughout Israel’s history as seen here:

“Moreover, Uzziah prepared for all the army shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows and sling stones. In Jerusalem he made engines of war invented by skillful men to be on the towers and on the corners for the purpose of shooting arrows and great stones. Hence his fame spread afar, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.”  2 Chronicles 26:14-15 NASB 1995

God supplied “engines of war invented by skillful men.” Does this sound like Israel today? Pray for God’s hand in the defense of Israel. He did not regather them from 150 countries to nuke them. 

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”  Romans 8:31

Are You Paying Attention to the Bridges?

Are your bridges getting blown up or washed away? If you haven’t noticed, everything is shaking, everything is changing. Acceleration! It is happening so fast, it is head-spinning. Every year or two a game-changer type event would take place. Now it is every week, or every day it seems. Here is just one week: Hurricane Helene kills over 200 (and rising) and destroys scores of bridges (along with entire villages). Netanyahu speaks to the UN and Israel eliminates the 32 year leader of Hezbollah, the world’s most deadly terrorist group. Iran fires 200 ballistic missiles at Israel as the IDF enters Lebanon and Israel prepares to attack Iran. All of this as we observe the Feast of Trumpets and Rosh Hashanah on the Biblical calendar. The bridges to past norms are gone. Only God’s word is unchangeable. Acceleration, pedal to the metal time! We are through the nine month gestation and into the last of the birth pangs. The birth of a new Kingdom is imminent.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.  “Matthew 24:7-8 ESV

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”  Hebrews 12:25-29

Yet, with this all happening we must remain steadfast in faith. We still have a job to do. We are not sitting on a roof with white robes waiting. This is a time for activation. Those who know Yehovah God will function in dysfunctional times and situations. Preach the Gospel. Help your neighbor. Stand for righteousness in the public square. Intercede for Israel’s victory in Yehovah’s purposes. For many it is overwhelming, but we are not overcome. We must hold fast our faith.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…”  2 Corinthians 4:7-8

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”  Revelation 12:11-12

Are you dwelling in the heavens or the earth? We can live in spiritual overcoming victory even in the midst of earthly terror and turmoil. This last verse is not about future but about overcoming in the present, in spite of everything shaking. The Holy Spirit is with us if we live or die. He is our comforter. Verse eleven starts with “they overcame him,” not “they were overcome.” We can overcome. We will overcome the devil’s purpose. We have read the end of the Book, we win!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for those still fighting in the Carolina mountains, and pray for victory over all of God’s enemies.

No apartheidHappy Gaza rescue this week of a Bedouin Muslim Israeli citizen. Notice the picture of him with his religious leader and brother, and the religious Jewish doctor celebrating the rescue by Israeli commandos from multiple faiths. This puts the lie to the propaganda media accusation that Israel is apartheid. Here are his own words: “This is thanks to our army, they are doing holy work, risking their lives.” – Israeli Bedouin hostage Farhan Alkadi speaking with President Isaac Herzog following his rescue yesterday. An Arab Muslim praising what Israeli soldiers are doing in Gaza, and calling the IDF “our army.” This is a reality you won’t see portrayed by the deceitful mainstream international media. Israel Today. Indeed, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Religious doctor: ‘Photograph is microcosm of Israeli society’ – Photo of Dr. Dan Schwartzfuchs with rescued hostage, Qaid Farhan Al-Qadi, goes viral; ‘I think the war bonded us even more.’

Contrast that Israeli diversity with the true apartheid in Iran, where the Ayatollah insists on division within Islam itself. Iran is Shia and most other Muslims are Sunni. I have often stated that if Iran had one nuclear bomb they would use it on Saudi Arabia, who are Sunni.

“Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei: Forget all the Arab and Islamic issues. Forget America, Israel and the whole world. They all mean nothing to us and do not concern us at all. Our first and last battle is with the followers of Yazid bin Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan. That is, our battle is with the Sunni Muslims until the Day of Judgment.” Amir Tsarfati

This dispute traces all the way back to the death of Muhammed and who should be his successor. It is important to understand that Satan is divided even against himself. He rules by fear and domination, but certainly not from unity. Our best prayer against him is that God would deal with our enemies as he did with the Midianites. (See Psalm 83) The best victory is when our enemies turn on each other and destroy one another. God did that with Gideon and also with Jehoshaphat.

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says Yehovah to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (v.15) “Now when they began to sing and to praise, Yehovah set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.”  2 Chronicles 20:15, 22-24

We would do well to remember that the battle belongs to the Lord God!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and victory over all enemies by the hand of God and His Messiah Yeshua.

Not Iran’s Prophetic Time

Media is anticipating a major war with Israel and Iran but I am not convinced. Events are more accurately viewed by Scripture and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. There may be a war, but Iran must lose because it is not her prophetic time. I speak this with conviction from Bible prophecy. My beloved mentor, Earl Waterman, often said: : I’m not a prophet or a prophet’s son, but I’ll do the prophesying till the prophet comes.” Having been a pastor/shepherd most of my life, the Lord Jesus has moved my assignment to speak about God’s faithfulness to Israel. I identify with Brother Earl and also with Amos.

But Amos replied, “I’m not a professional prophet, and I was never trained to be one. I’m just a shepherd, and I take care of sycamore-fig trees. But Yehovah called me away from my flock and told me, ‘Go and prophesy to my people in Israel.’”  Amos 7:14-15 NLT

Iran is destined to collapse in the near future. Since I discovered the juxtaposition of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38; it has been clear that Iran must diminish for a time. Israel must come into an extraordinary peace before the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. There are two compelling Biblical reasons for this.

#1 – Both prophecies name specific countries around Israel. But, none of those named in Psalm 83 are repeated in Ezekiel 38. Why? I believe the Abraham Accords will continue to expand creating real peace with all of Israel’s immediate Arab neighbors. (See Isaiah 19.) Therefore, the timing issue requires a substantial period of peace before Gog and Magog. Also, Ezekiel 38 is clear (several times) that the invasion occurs when Israel has taken down the walls which now dot the landscape, especially around Jerusalem, and they are dwelling without gates in “a land of unwalled villages.”

#2 – Iran/Persia is not named in Psalm 83, but is a major player with Turkey in Ezekiel. Therefore, Iran must diminish or collapse in the present. It is simply not their time yet. They will not expand at this time, but their time will come later. I have been predicting the diminishing of Iran for several years. It is now becoming evident.

Experts are now suggesting major faults in many areas of the Iranian regime. It may fall the same way the Soviet Union fell in the 90’s. The Ayatollah is reportedly near death and the government is very shaky. The economy is collapsing. Israel is poised to eliminate the nuclear threat as soon as necessary. In addition, there are more than five distinct minorities in Iran that are plotting a coup against the Ayatollah. Only about half of Iran’s population is Persian. The rest are various ethnic minorities such as Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Azeris, and others. For more on this watch a two minute interview with Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a Mideast expert from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. It starts at about 5:40 into the video.

As the Arab nations make peace there are still terrorist groups that must also disappear including Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, the Houtis in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. These will fall from within according to the prayer of Psalm 83.

Deal with them as with Midian, Psalm 83:9

Gideon’s victory over the Midianites was because Yehovah caused a terror to sweep over them and they killed each other in the confusion. That is the prayer of Psalm 83 for today’s enemies of Israel. Let it be done according to God’s word!

Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yehovah our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. Psalm 95:6-7 NLT

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Yehovah himself watches over you! Yehovah stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121:3-5 NLT

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray that the leaders will hear and obey the voice of Yehovah God.. Also, pray for the salvation of Jew and Arabs alike.

Delivered From the Violent Man

The Middle East is on fire! Exactly 300 days ago the head of Hamas was thanking his pagan god for the massacre that day from Gaza into Israel. Today is his funeral in Iran! Earthshaking events are now almost daily. Political, military, and even physical earthquakes have roiled the region. Assassinations and funerals are followed by loud threats of revenge. Israel recently had major success taking out enemy leaders including the #1 of Hamas, #3 of Hamas, #2 of Hezbollah, and several lower commanders. The actions were in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and Yemen. Israel has moved from defense to offense. Major revenge attacks are expected that could lead to a wider war to the north. Even here in America there is a sense of growing threats of terrorism because of our open border and impotent administration. So, where shall we stand? Should we submit to fear and terror; or should we turn upwards and call upon our Deliverer?

“​​For who is God, except Yehovah? ​And who is a rock, except our God? ​​It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. ​​He makes my feet like the feet of deer and sets me on my high places. ​​He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. ​​You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; your right hand has held me up. ​​Your gentleness has made me great. ​​You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip. ​​I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.”  Psalm 18:31-37

The nations always pressure Israel to restrain, hold back, cease fire, and compromise. However, we are at a turning point. Israel is rising to push back the aggressors whose aim is the genocide of the Jewish people and nation. We must fervently pray for victory and wisdom for Prime Minister Netanyahu. Our loyalty is not to man but to the God whose unconditional promises will be fulfilled.

“Yehovah lives! ​​Blessed be my Rock! ​​Let the God of my salvation be exalted. ​​It is God who avenges me, and subdues the peoples under me; ​​He delivers me from my enemies. ​​You also lift me up above those who rise against me; ​​You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore, I will give thanks to You, O Yehovah, among the Gentiles, and sing praises to Your name.”  Psalm 18:46-49

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Pray for Messiah Yeshua to protect His people. Pray for hearts turning to call on the living God for His salvation. Jesus is coming!

Linking Israel’s Prophetic Events & Iran

Connect the Dots = Mystery Solved – Iran is about to be attacked by Israel after Iran’s bombardment of Israel last Saturday night. Can we know what happens next? Yes, if we connect the dots, we can see the relationship between different pieces of information. Iran will have a major defeat leading to a time of peace. Israel prophecy is clarified by understanding the Biblical events timeline. I think of it as connecting the dots. Instead of seeing unrelated events we begin to recognize a pattern unfolding that links the events to each other.

There are three modern day Israel events that reveal the pattern. They are the Holocaust, the Arab invasions of Israel’s new state, and then the intrusion of Iran into the mix. I am not prophesying; I am laying out simple prophetic Scriptures. If it is just from me it is subjective, but if it is revealed in the Bible we can take it to the bank. Each of the three events above are predicted in Scripture.

  1. The Holocaust is described in Psalm 102:1-12. Then comes the glorious promise of the time to favor Zion, the set time, in verse 13. This prophecy was historically fulfilled right after the Holocaust in 1948. “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.”
  2. The Arab Invasion is described in Psalm 83 and began the very next day after Israel declared their independence. Those countries continued warring against Israel for decades. But now we have seen peace treaties and the Abraham Accords that have ended the Psalm 83 War. However, it is not quite over because the terror proxies of Iran are still attacking. Iran has even attacked Israel directly. All of these have the same goal: the wiping out of Israel forever. Their argument is with Yehovah God Himself, and He has the final word. The prayer of Psalm 83 is that the enemies would fight each other as the Midianites did in Gideon’s day, which we have seen in the present. Keep praying that prayer.
  3. The Iranian Intrusion is an event out of timing with prophecy. Iran is part of the Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog invasion. But there is a critical prophetic key to unlock the timing. Simply compare the nations listed in Psalm 83 with the nations listed in Ezekiel 38. They are two completely different lists. The first are the ones who now border Israel. The Ezekiel nations will be on the border of Israel after the end of the Psalm 83 War. But, the problem is that Iran is acting now, out of timing. Therefore, I conclude that they will have to be diminished or disabled in a very serious way. That is why I expect Israel to administer a major blow in the near future, so bad that Iran will not recover for a decade or more. A simple reading of Ezekiel 38:1-14 will reveal that the condition of Israel at the time of that invasion is one of extraordinary peace, certainly not true now, or in the first 75 years of Israel’s restoration. Look for the major setback of Iran followed by a flood of nations joining the Abraham Accords including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and many more.

Gog and Magog? Not! Here are the seven phrases in Ezekiel 38 regarding Israel’s status before the Gog and Magog invasion. This is why I believe all the talk about that Gog invasion being imminent is mistaken. I was in Israel just last September and saw the 25 foot walls in many places. They will be removed when real peace comes and after that time of peace with their neighbors, then comes the Ezekiel 38 Invasion.

“they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.” v. 8

Gog and Magog say: “I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates” v. 11

“when My people Israel dwell safely” v. 14

Please pray for the daily threats, developments and decisions right now. This is a critical point in history. God knows the end from the beginning and He has it all under control. His will is being done. Messiah Yeshua is with us and will never leave us or forsake us. 

“Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep… Yehovah shall preserve you from all evil; ​​He shall preserve your soul. Yehovah shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”  Psalm 121: 4, 7-8

Purim, Persia, and Modern Iran

Sundown Saturday March 23 the Jews celebrate Purim. Based on the Book of Esther, Jews celebrate yet another historical failure of their enemies’ attempt to annihilate the chosen people. Satan’s goal to eliminate Israel and the Jews is repeated through thousands of years, always ending in failure. Purim is a happy celebration of one of Satan’s defeats. Jews celebrate with parties, parades, costumes and reenactments of the story of Esther, Mordecai, and the evil Haman. We often quote Psalm 83 where this Satanic purpose is revealed. Two observations are clear, that the enemies of Israel are motivated by their hatred of Yehovah God, and they intend to stamp out the very memory of Israel.

“For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. ​​They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones.  They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”  Psalm 83:2-4

This year it has special significance in the context of the Gaza War. It is not insignificant that the perpetrator in Esther is the same Persia/Iran behind the Gaza War today. Persia changed their name to Iran on March 21, 1935, two days after Purim in that year. The location was Hitler’s Berlin and the purpose was to join with the Nazi scourge.

“Unfortunately, with the rise of Hitler in the 1930’s, “Aryan” came to be associated with the Nazi definition: being of Non-Jewish Caucasian descent, especially the blue eyed, blond haired Nordic races that Hitler himself favored and hoped to make a master race. … At the suggestion of the Persian Legation in Berlin, the Tehran government, on the Persian New Year, March 21, 1935, substituted Iran for Persia as the official name of the country.”  Persians Are Not Arabs

Let’s not get too far into the weeds. The point is that the demonic principality ruling Iran today is the same as Nazi Germany and ancient Persia. The devil is still at it. It will end only when the Messiah comes. The current timing indicates that we are closer than we think to all the end of days prophesies being fulfilled. How ironic and timely that Iran assumes a new position at the United Nations during Purim:

Alternate Reality: Iran Becomes President of UN Conference on Disarmament

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:32-35

Asylum for Iran in Venezuela + Big Bucks?

Iran is arranging sanctuary for the regime’s leaders and even transferring billions to Venezuelan banks. While I am ministering in Florida, you may like to consider two stories about Iran that have not made headline news reports, yet. The “scarf revolution” is going strong after five months and the Ayatollah and the Mullahs are preparing for exile.

Exclusive: Iranian Regime Eying Venezuela As Sanctuary For Leaders – Dead worried about their fate in case of a revolution in Iran, the Islamic Republic’s officials have started looking for safe havens, especially Venezuela, their close ally. Western diplomatic sources told Iran International that the Islamic Republic has started negotiations with its Venezuelan allies to ensure they’d offer asylum to regime officials and their families should the situation worsen, and the possibility of a regime change increases.

Iran’s supreme leader sent $4b. to son’s account in Venezuela – report – The money was reportedly transferred by the regime of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to his son Mojtaba, who many anticipate will succeed his father.

This agrees with prophecy we have studied for the last few years. Iran is certainly part of the Gog and Magog coalition of Ezekiel 38, but it is not time for that invasion which clearly occurs only when Israel takes down their walls and dwells in security with no fear of invasion. Notice these particular verses:

“After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.”  Ezekiel 38:8

“You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’—”  Ezekiel 38:11

Therefore, I expect a time of unprecedented peace for Israel to emerge, although it will obviously take awhile. The Abraham Accords are part of the pathway to that period of peace, especially after Saudi Arabia joins. I also expect a great salvation among the Arabs as they accept that Yeshua is the Messiah. This directly leads to a total change from hating Israel to seeing their place in Yehovah’s plan. Arabs who leave Islam will become Christian Zionists. Watch and pray! (See Isaiah 19:22-25 and Isaiah 60:6-7).

The Collapse of Iran

Iran is destined to collapse in the near future. Since I discovered the juxtaposition of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38; it has been clear that Iran must diminish for a time. Israel must come into an extraordinary peace before the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. There are two compelling Biblical reasons for this.

#1 – Both prophecies name specific countries around Israel. But, none of those named in Psalm 83 are repeated in Ezekiel 38. Why? I believe the Abraham Accords will continue to expand creating real peace with all of Israel’s immediate Arab neighbors. (See Isaiah 19.) Therefore, the timing issue requires a substantial period of peace before Gog and Magog. Also, Ezekiel 38 is clear (several times) that the invasion occurs when Israel has taken down the walls which now dot the landscape, especially around Jerusalem, and they are dwelling without gates in “a land of unwalled villages.”

#2 – Iran/Persia is not named in Psalm 83, but is a major player with Turkey in Ezekiel. Therefore, Iran must diminish or collapse in the present. It is simply not their time yet. They will not expand at this time, but their time will come later. I have been predicting the diminishing of Iran for several years. It is now becoming evident.

Experts are now suggesting major faults in many areas of the Iranian regime. It may fall the same way the Soviet Union fell in the 90’s. The Ayatollah is reportedly near death and the government is very shaky. The economy is collapsing. Israel is poised to eliminate the nuclear threat as soon as necessary. In addition, there are more than five distinct minorities in Iran that are plotting a coup against the Ayatollah as early as March next year, about four months from now. Only about half of Iran’s population is Persian. The rest are various ethnic minorities such as Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Azeris, and others. For more on this watch a two minute interview with Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a MidEast expert from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. It starts at about 5:40 into the video.

As the Arab nations make peace there are still terrorist groups that must also disappear including Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. These will fall from within according to the prayer of Psalm 83.

Deal with them as with Midian, Psalm 83:9

Gideon’s victory over the Midianites was because Yehovah caused a terror to sweep over them and they killed each other in the confusion. That is the prayer of Psalm 83 for today’s enemies of Israel. Let it be done according to God’s word!

Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yehovah our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. Psalm 95:6-7 NLT

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Yehovah himself watches over you! Yehovah stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121:3-5 NLT

Friday Prayers = Riots… WHAT?

Cognitive Dissonance – Conflicting illogical thoughts and conclusions is a good definition. The case in point is the typical reaction on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount after “Friday prayers,” when youth pour out of the al Aqsa mosque and commence rioting. Notice the Hamas flags. This was after the ceasefire following eleven days of 4,360 rockets fired at Israeli civilians. Doesn’t anyone notice the contradiction of the headlines such as this one from yesterday, after the Gaza ceasefire:

Palestinians riot on Temple Mount after Friday prayers – Hundreds of people threw rocks and petrol bombs at police officers who responded at the scene. …Days of unrest at Al-Aqsa during Islam’s holy fasting month of Ramadan…

Yes, it happened also during the entire “holy fasting month of Ramadan.” Does anybody have a problem with the words “prayers” and “holy” being used preceding riots? I don’t think that word means what they think it means. My point is that there is a spiritual source even beyond the political goals. There are those who choose violence and destruction as their way of expressing themselves. We see it in the BLM and Antifa riots in the U.S. also. The real source is Satan himself. When his nature takes over human nature the result always leads to death.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

One more point – Don’t forget that the number one terror supporting nation is Iran, and they are behind the latest Gaza war. Yes, this is the same Iran that is about to receive boatloads of cash and have all sanctions lifted by the Biden administration.

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”  John 10:7-9

While there has been unrest and riots (see below) in Jerusalem this week, the Abraham Accords are full speed ahead. While many pundits thought the Accords would disappear with the new Administration in DC, the opposite is the case. The Accords have a life of their own, which I believe is from God Himself. While the world careens ominously toward war because of Iran, God is doing something different. He will expand Israel’s land and also bring a season of peace. I have talked much about the necessary peace between the two wars described in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38. Most prophecy teachers jump ahead to the anti-Christ peace and miss this interim peace that is required before the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38:11. Meanwhile, Jared Kushner is working on that interim peace.

Scoop: Jared Kushner founds “Abraham Accords Institute” – Jared Kushner is founding an organization called the Abraham Accords Institute for Peace, to work on deepening the normalization agreements he helped strike between Israel and Arab countries.

The big picture: The Abraham Accords, signed in September 2020, were arguably Trump’s biggest foreign policy achievement and the biggest breakthrough for relations between Israel and the Arab world for 25 years.

Details: The non-partisan, non-profit organization will have a five-year mandate and be funded through private donations.

  • According to a statement, it will focus on increasing trade and tourism between the five signatory countries — Israel, Bahrain, the UAE, Morocco and Sudan — and developing programs to foster people-to-people connections between the countries.

  • It will also “provide analysis of the benefits of normalization and the potential benefits additional Arab countries can receive if they join the Abraham Accords.” Axios

The riots have been fomented by Hamas and the PLO to take advantage of the convergence of the end of Ramadan and Jerusalem Day in which Israel celebrates the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967. The trigger for the violence is a relatively minor property dispute between Jews and Arabs explained in the following story.

Sheikh Jarrah: What’s All the Hubbub?– Only the Palestinians could convince the world to see a property ownership dispute as an existential crisis. It’s everywhere you look. People around the world who previously had no idea what Sheikh Jarrah even was are now treating the East Jerusalem neighborhood as a cause célèbre. It’s the kind of public relations coup that’s the Palestinians’ forte. No one has died, despite the constant use of the word “bloodshed,” and this isn’t some mass expulsion event, even though it’s being portrayed as such. Israel Today

Iran, Turkey, Hamas, and Hezbollah will diminish leading into this interim season of peace. Yes, Iran and Turkey will lead the Ezekiel war, but not before a very secure peace that allows Israel to feel so secure that they tear down the walls that mar the landscape of the Holy Land. That is the reason the Abraham Accords will succeed. Stay tuned.

Is America Changing Sides?

The Trump Administration was clearly the most pro-Israel in U.S. history. “Coincidently” our economy was blessed off the charts and unemployment at historic lows, especially for minorities. We saw with our own eyes the fulfillment of Yehovah’s promise to bless those who bless Israel. That is why we were blessed. It was not because of President Trumps diplomatic prowess, it was the promise of the immutable God.

“I will make you a great nation; ​​I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. ​​I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you;​​ and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3

However, the Biden Administration is reversing every single Israel policy of Trump that it can. This is not only regarding Israel but also Saudi Arabia and the entire Sunni Arab people. Islam is divided 85% Sunni and 15% Shia (Iran). But, ironically, by standing with Iran, Biden is pushing most Arabs toward looking to Israel for protection against Iran.

Report: US agrees to unfreeze $7 billion, free Iranians in prisoner swap with Tehran – Biden administration denies reports it agreed to free 4 Iranian suspects, release billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets in exchange.

Whether this report is accurate will be obvious soon enough, but the general policy change toward Israel is well documented with reviving the Iran deal, renewed financial support for Palestinians terror, in violation of the Taylor Force Act, and open support of Netanyahu’s rivals. This election interference is unlawful. There is no doubt that America has changed direction from blessing Israel to cursing Israel. The consequences will be dire for us. We must pray that our Congress will stand up to President Biden and his extreme leftist cronies to block this turn against Israel. We must pray and act for our sake and for Israel.

Iran Nuke “Accident”

A major event happened in Iran yesterday. A large explosion completely destroyed the internal power system at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility and caused further fire damage. Iran initially claimed it was an accident before admitting it was “a terrorist enemy.” This will set Iran’s illegal nuclear program back at least nine months.

There are two parts to this story, the physical facts and the Bible prophecy implications. First, here are links to the facts. Then I will share the prophetic.

Iran says ‘terrorist act’ behind power cut at Natanz nuclear facility – Israeli outlets claim that a Mossad cyberattack is likely behind the incident.

‘Mossad behind cyberattack on Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility’ – Security cabinet set to meet next week amid growing tensions between Israel and Iran.

Officials: It will take Iran 9 months to fix damage at Natanz – Intelligence officials tell New York Times that the fire at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility was caused by a large explosion that completely destroyed its internal power system.

New fire breaks out in Iranian nuclear facility – Senior Iranian official says additional fire has broken out at Natanz uranium enrichment plant, which was earlier hit by sabotage.

What does this mean for Bible prophecy? Iran is viewed as the biggest threat to Israel at the present time. However, timing is the real question. Is this Iran’s hour of power? I don’t think so. As I have been teaching, there has to be a time of very secure peace for Israel before Iran, Turkey and others invade Israel in the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38. We are now between the Psalm 83 War and Ezekiel 38. Therefore, I see Iran continuing to diminish in their influence. I know this goes against the tide of predictions, but I would rather base my view on solid scriptural foundations.

The Abraham Accords, which led to normalization between Israel and Arab Gulf states, are still expanding. Even Saudi Arabia is closer to open normalization with Israel. Some pundits predicted the end of the Accords with the new U.S. administration. But, the Accords have a life of their own from Yehovah God. He is moving all the players in the direction of His purpose, to expand the territory of Israel to their ultimate boundaries.

Psalm 83 War, with a Twist

For several years I expected a war to end the conflict described in Psalm 83 which started with the invasion against Israel in 1948 by the Arab Legion. The confederacy formed of modern Arab nations are exactly the nations listed in the Psalm by their ancient names.

However, it now appears that it may not end with a war, but with the recognition of Israel and peace between Jews and Arabs. That is quite a twist. This direction is provoked by the threat of Iran (which is Persian and not Arab) and their proxies against the Arab states. The recent agreement between Israel and the UAE  (United Arab Emirates) is a fresh indication. Other Arab states may soon join in the fun.

Gog and Magog? Do not look for Ezekiel 38 anytime soon. Israel must be living in such secure peace that they tear down all walls they have built as separation from the Arabs in recent years. Thus, the season of peace before the Gog and Magog war.

Notice the bolded words above which unequivocally describe conditions that simply do not exist today in Israel. Therefore, the next prophetic event is not war with Iran, but an extraordinary (and surprising) peace.

For several years I have said that Iran must diminish; and we are now seeing it happen. Expect more examples of this to come soon. Even Hezbollah and Hamas will fade, as hard as that is to imagine. This is God’s work, using Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu.

The recent explosion in Beirut exposed Hezbollah’s evil plots and is the beginning of the end of Hezbollah. They have been denied much of their support from Iran because of Iran’s financial collapse from the U.S. sanctions and other internal problems. Recently, with great bravado, the head of Hezbollah threatened to kill an Israeli soldier for each of his lost fighters. But the next day Israel bombed Damascus killing Hezbollah members, calling their bluff. They do not want a war right now in their time of weakness and turmoil in Lebanon.

Five Iranian-backed militia killed in Syria in alleged Israeli air strike – Hizballah has threatened to kill an Israeli soldier for every fighter who loses his life in an IDF attack in Syria, but so far missed its aim in three attempts.

So, we watch and pray. Yehovah, God of angel armies, is not deterred by any geo-political events. God said the land is given to Israel, all of it. Nothing will prevent the exact fulfillment of His promise, in which He raised His hand in an oath.

Therefore thus says the Lord Yehovah: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame.But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come. Ezekiel 36:7-8

Can’t Make This Up Dept. – Grand Prize

Today’s report is not made up. The Iranian Parliament has voted (seriously) to ban all Israeli tech. Therefore, I have awarded Iran the 2020 Grand Prize in the “You can’t make this up Department,” even though it is only May 26. The Ayatollah, the Parliament, and the President all agree. The legislation passed by parliament brands any cooperation with Israel as an “act against God.” (Of course, they did not say “God,” they said “Allah.”)

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday issued an executive order requiring the implementation of a law passed last week that bars any cooperation with Israel, including the use of Israeli software and hardware. Times of Israel

Iran has banned all use of Israeli tech. Really? That would set it back 50 years – New law bars cooperation with Zionists, including ‘hardware and software,’ as crime against God. So, no computers, internet, cellphones; healthcare ravaged; and no BMW for Khamenei.

Netanyahu to Iranian People

This minute and a half video says it all. Israel’s quarrel with Iran has nothing to do with the people, only the radical religious leaders. The Ayatollah regularly calls for the complete genocide of Israel and the Jews.

Prime Minister Netanyahu touches the perfect tone in this amazing video. We need to pray for the liberation of the people of Iran so they can resume to historic good relationship with Israel.

Within the Iranian backed Gaza terrorists, the call is likewise the genocide of the Jews. Even today, the call is out for more violence against Israeli citizens to commemorate the defeat of the Arabs in the Six Day War. There seems to be no end to the “Days of Rage” for one date or another. In fact, they also have rage on no particular occasion at all, just to give vent to their demonic hatred of the Jews.

In only the last two weeks, over 180 rockets were fired from Gaza at Israeli citizens with the intent to murder. That is 180 attempted murders. Just because they failed does not absolve them of the crime.

How amazing that Yehovah God keeps watching over Israel and protecting them from the satanic intentions of the terrorists. Thank you, Jesus.

Trump 1-1, Israel 1-1, Iran 0-2

God bless Trump - Embassy

Not a bad week for the good guys. President Trump rejected the phony Iran deal. Israel dealt a massive blow to Iran’s plans in Syria by destroying over 50 Iranian military targets after they fired 20 rockets at Israel.

Add to that, the US Embassy moving to Jerusalem this coming Monday. Lots of good news for Israel. Also, the more we stand with Israel, the more blessings will come to our nation.

For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. Joel 3:1-2

Iran will come against Israel, but only after the Psalm 83 War (which lists each country by name, not including Iran. Only after this, and a time of peace, do we get to the Ezekiel 38 War of Gog and Magog which includes Iran/Persia by name. Therefore I see Iran diminished somehow in the present time, perhaps by an internal uprising.

Good report of rain and snow this week in Israel. Keep praying. And as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, let’s also pray for Iranian freedom.

Happy Purim

Today and tomorrow Jews around the world celebrate Purim, the festival honoring Esther’s great courage saving the Jews in ancient Persia/Iran. Today Iran again threaten Israel, yet the Jews take time to remember the victory story of Esther (Hebrew name: Hadassah), Mordecai and the evil Haman. Read about it in the Bible’s short Book of Esther.

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Netanyahu Today at UN

Don't worry AmericaThis was perhaps the most powerful 45 seconds of silence you will ever witness. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu exposed the hypocrisy of the nations who have not condemned the Iran’s constant calls for Israel’s annihilation.

The most poignant moment of the speech involved no remarks at all, as Netanyahu, in his seventh UN General Assembly address, asked the body if it had forgotten the lessons of the Holocaust just seventy years since its founding. He quoted from Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, from its president and its military commanders, all reiterating a familiar pledge: Israel, a state where six million Jews reside, must be annihilated, sooner rather than later. “Seventy years after the murder of six million Jews, Iran’s rulers promise to destroy my country, murder my people,” Netanyahu said. “And the response from this body— the response from nearly every one of the governments represented here— has been absolutely nothing. Utter silence. Deafening silence.” 
Silence followed the charge as the prime minister surveyed the room with a stoic stare. None spoke or moved in the audience as Netanyahu, at the lectern, remained quiet for nearly a minute. Jerusalem Post 10-1-15

I also want to share my top five quotes from the speech:

Netanyahu: Leader of the Free World

Iran dealOnly Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has steadfastly, consistently opposed the Iran deal. Tuesday, the Western powers “gave away the farm” to Iran. They even threw in at least two items that were not even previously discussed.

#1 They allowed for Iran to use the 150 BILLION DOLLARS in sanction relief to purchase more sophisticated conventional arms to expand their terror network. The deal legitimizes Iran to become a legal nuclear power in ten years.

#2 They absolved the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard of personal charges and sanctions. If you add this to our Administration releasing the five Taliban super-terrorists in the Bergdahl fiasco, you see why I conclude that the US is no longer the leader of the free world. Only Israel stands in the way of Iran’s stated goal of world conquest.

Doreen and I just returned from the Christians United for Israel Summit in Washington, DC with over 6,000 participants. After the sessions, we all fanned out all over Capital Hill to lobby our Senators and Representatives against the Iran deal. All 50 states were in attendance. The timing was supernatural. The Iran announcement was Tuesday morning, the very day we all had our appointments in the offices of our elected officials.

Make no mistake. It is definitely possible to raise the 67 Senate votes to override the certain Presidential veto. I ask you to pray and intercede for the next 60 days of Congress’ consideration. But add action to you prayers by contacting your representatives in every way possible. We can do this!

Finally, pray for Israel and PM Netanyahu. He is the foremost world leader standing against Iran. Imagine the other leaders deciding Israel’s fate while not allowing Israel inside the talks! Unbelievable! It was the same when Chamberlain appeased Hitler (video) by giving him Czechloslavkia without them at the table. Even the Arab countries were left out of the talks! Now we see Israel and Arab countries like Saudi Arabia standing in agreement against Iran and the deal. What an upside down world we live in today!

Praise God we have read the end of the Book. Israel will not be destroyed, but prosper and grow. The enemies of Israel will lose and God’s unconditional promises will be kept. Hallelujah!

No Nukes 4 Iran

Today I share why the Bible says Iran is rising prematurely. The deadline for the Iran nuclear deal is next week, and yet Iran’s Parliament just voted overwhelmingly against the inspections specified in the deal, which should collapse the negotiations. The world is becoming more aware of the Iranian menace, but it is not quite Iran’s time prophetically. To be sure, Iran (Persia) is specifically named in the Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog War. However, it not time for that war. The Psalm 83 War is first and distinctly separate.

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Ezekiel 38:5

(The name Ethiopia here is not the modern state. Ezekiel is referring to modern Sudan. The other names listed refer to modern Turkey.)

These two prophetic passages are usually conflated by prophecy scholars, if they use Psalm 83 at all. But there is growing recognition of Psalm 83 and its completely separate list of nations. All of the wars against Israel since 1948 have included primarily the Psalm 83 list’s modern counterparts. It is my view that this war must have a final conclusion before Ezekiel’s War. The combatants do not overlap at all. Isaiah’s prophecy of Damascus destruction may occur at this time as well. Also, Ezekiel describes the invasion during a time of real peace with no walls protecting Israel, which is certainly not the case today.

Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.” Ezekiel 38:10-12

Therefor, I conclude that Iran will not get nukes at this time and will perhaps even suffer a setback that diminishes their rising for a season. Israel may yet strike their nuclear facilities. So Israel will still have to deal with the conclusion of Psalm 83, but then will enjoy an unprecedented peace for a season before Ezekiel 38.

We presently see the prayer of Psalm 83 being answered daily in the civil wars all around them resulting in Israel’s enemies killing one another just as the historic defeat of the Midianites in the account of Gideon’s band of 300. The prayer of Psalm 83 was that God would deal with Israel’s present enemies as He did with Midian. We see the answer unfolding before our very eyes. (Read the background story of Midian in Judges 7:22 – When the three hundred blew the trumpets, Yehovah set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp.)

Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth. ​​Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, who said, “Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession.” … That they may know that You, whose name alone is Yehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.Psalm 83:9-12, 18

Iran Means Aryan

Following Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, we are only a couple of weeks away from a decision on the negotiations about Iran’s nuclear ambitions. It is fitting to consider a deeper view of Iran/Persia’s roots.

When did Persia become Iran? The Bible refers to the second great world empire, after Babylon, as the Persian Empire. The Western countries who followed the Bible still used Persia until Hitler’s rise to power in the 1930’s. “That Western tradition continued into the last century until the reign of Iranian king, Reza Shah, founder of the Pahlavi dynasty. In 1935 CE, Reza Shah asked those countries with whom Iran had diplomatic relations, to stop using the name Persia and to formally refer to his country as Iran.” Heritage Institute

“Germany was our age-old and natural ally, Love of Germany was synonymous with love for Iran. The sound of German officers’ footsteps was heard on the shores of the Nile. Swastika flags were flying from the outskirts of Moscow to the peaks of the Caucasus Mts. Iranian patriots eagerly awaited the arrival of their old allies. My friend and I would spin tales about the grandeur of the superior race. We considered Germany the chosen representative of this race in Europe and Iran its representative in Asia. The right to life and role was ours. Others had no choice but submission and slavery. We discarded the old maps and remade Iran into a country larger than what it was in Achaemenian times.” Reza Shah

In 1933, the year Hitler came to power,  the Third Reich began to publish a racist magazine titled lran-e Bastan (The Ancient Iran). The journal was financed by Siemens-Schukken and pro-Nazi Iranian intellectuals. It referred to Hitler as “one of the greatest men in the world.” It depicted him as the man who ended the alleged 200 year old plot by Jews against the nationalities of the world, especially the Aryans. The journal also claimed that the swastika was a symbol of Iranians from 2000 years before Christ and they rejoiced over its use as a symbol of German pride and of unity between the Iranian and German peoples. Our prayers are based on Biblical and historic understanding. Generic prayers are too generalized. We need to be specific. Iran/Persia today is an avowed enemy of Israel and the West. Prophetically, we know that this will continue until the great war of Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 & 39.

“Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;” Ezekiel 38:5

As I have explained before, the next war is the Psalm 83 War which lists the specific countries attacking Israel (using their ancient names). But Ezekiel 38 & 39 has a totally different list of countries which confirms it is a separate and distinct war. Also, the passage clearly states that Israel is living in peace at that time with un-walled villages. This is certainly not true now.

So, we will line up our theology and prayers with Scripture. Yehovah God is in control. We do not fear, but stand with His purpose for Israel and all those who put their trust in Him and His beloved Son, Jesus. His Hebrew name is Meshiach Yeshua ben Yehovah, Messiah Jesus, Son of God!

After the Dust-Up Settles

Bibi at Congress 2015Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech was a grand-slam home run yesterday at the Joint Session of the US Congress. Many observers compared it to Winston Churchill. They are right in the sense of the historic timing of this warning of world-wide catastrophe if Iran gets the bomb.

There are moments in life when a leader acts not to win votes — but for the sake of the children. There are moments when a leader is not measured against an American president or media pundits. These are moments where only history can be the judge. Boaz Bismuth in Israel Hayom

The similarities between now and 1939 are clear and portend earth-shaking implications to follow any failure to face the facts. The soberness of the speech properly underscored the choices. We face far more than a trivial breach of protocol, we are looking right down the payload of intercontinental ballistic missiles headed our way. It is not only Israel being threatened and the rest of the Sunni Middle East. The entire Western world is in Iran’s sights and goals. Remember the Iranian mantra that Israel is the little Satan and America is the big Satan.

My only comment about the “dust-up” manufactured by the White House is that it was not worthy of the Office of the President of the United States. It was shameful and embarrassing.

So we pray. We pray hard. We pray often. We pray for the real peace of Jerusalem. We stand for Israel, confident that there is One Who watches over Israel, Who neither slumbers nor sleeps. Yehovah, God of Israel is the ultimate watchman on the wall.

Thank you Prime Minister Netanyahu for giving voice to the truth from God’s voice to our ears.

Commander of the Straw Man Army

Dry Bones Israel TiedPresident Obama is adept at using a “straw man” to shift an argument, from the real issue to one he can easily refute. It is a form of sleight of hand. He has made an international incident over the invitation for Israel’s Prime Minister to address a joint session of Congress on March 3.

A straw man is a common type of argument and is an informal fallacy based on the misrepresentation of an opponent’s argument. To be successful, a straw man argument requires that the audience be ignorant or uninformed of the original argument. The so-called typical “attacking a straw man” argument creates the illusion of having completely refuted or defeated an opponent’s proposition by covertly replacing it with a different proposition (i.e., “stand up a straw man”) and then to refute or defeat that false argument (“knock down a straw man”) instead of the original proposition. Perhaps my thoughts will inspire someone to produce an analysis of the President’s use of the straw man. Today I want to use the example of PM Netanyahu’s speech to Congress. Speaker Boehner is accused of some horrific “breach of protocol” for inviting the PM without informing the White House. Even if conceding a breach occurred, it certainly did not rise to the level of an international incident (which the President has created). Leaving aside the contentious relationship the President has developed with our closest Middle East ally, there is a simple answer to why he chose this battle at this time.

It is not about protocol. It’s about Iran. The US is forcing a bad agreement that will allow Iran to still end up with nuclear weapons. This threatens the very existence of Israel. Netanyahu will make the case to Congress. Given their recent advances in ICBM technology, now the US is in range.

Congress wants to vote more sanctions against Iran. The Democrats want to postpone the vote till after the negotiations on March 24. The President does not want Congress or the American people to hear the Israeli objections till after the deal is done.

A second straw man was also used. The President says the speech is too close too Israel’s elections. Yet, the National Field Director of the President’s 2012 re-election campaign is now working for the Israeli opposition, in an effort to unseat Prime Minister Netanyahu. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

President Obama, VP Biden and Secretary Kerry all refuse to even meet with the Prime Minister while he is in Washington. Now, Vice President Biden will not even attend the speech, because “The Vice President’s office expects that the vice president will be traveling abroad during the joint session of Congress,” a US official said. 

UPDATE! Biden Meets Herzog in Munich A day after announcing he would boycott PM Netanyahu’s speech, Vice President Joe Biden met Israeli opposition leader MK Yitzhak Herzog in Munich. Not influencing the election???

Finally, there is a growing boycott of the speech by Democrats. What in the world is going on with this Administration? Is the Democratic Party turning against Israel?

Itching Ears: Iran at 35

(Washington, D.C., February 11, 2014) — Today marks the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians turned out on the streets to mark the occasion. Many denounced America as the “Great Satan.” Many also shouted, “Death to Israel,” which they believe is the “Little Satan.”

The fall of the Shah in 1979 and the rise of the Ayatollah Khomeini was a game-changing moment in the modern history of the Middle East. Iran suddenly shifted from a friend and ally of the United States (and even quietly allied with Israel), to a serious enemy. It started with the seizure of our Embassy and taking our diplomats hostage for 444 days.

But it has gone much worse over time. Iran has been implicated in killing Americans in the Beirut bombing of our Marine barracks, and at the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. They have funded, trained and armed terror groups around the world. Now they are actively developing a nuclear weapons program even as the world refuses to take decisive action to stop them. In addition to “Death to Israel” and “Down with Israel” signs, were many saying “Death to the USA” and “We are eager for the options on the table.” The last one refers to the Obama Administration’s lame warning: “All options are on the table” which weakly suggests the military option. Check out this excellent video interview with K T McFarland this morning on Fox News. She believes we can beat Iran economically if we keep up the pressure: “They would be so busy worrying about their NECKS, they wouldn’t have time to worry about their NUKES.” K T McFarland worked for President Ronald Reagan and wrote the first draft of his famous “Star Wars” speech.

ITCHING EARS – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3

The real problem is not with Iran, it is with the Western nations. President Obama is so averse to force and so subservient to Islam, that he insists on a diplomacy that has emboldened Iran. The Iran “negotiations” are only to determine how much we will give up to Iran for this round of talks, allowing them to continue their march toward nukes.

I know that this “itching ears” verse is usually applied to Christians, but it certainly describes the present Iranian threat. Their new president is an expert at tickling itching ears. We need to pray for our leaders to stand up to Islam. Pray especially for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He is a Bible believer. Pray that he will first hear the voice of Yehovah God, and then that he will have courage to stand for God’s purposes for Israel.
