Trump Offers “Life or Death” Choice – Media and talking heads will slice and dice the events of President Trump’s first foreign trip ad nauseam, but we should consider his warning to the 50+ Muslim leaders assembled in Saudi Arabia. He offered a simple choice in calling Muslims to reject terrorism. Choose life!

7 Quotes from the President’s speech:

Donald Trump insisted in a speech addressing global ‘Islamic extremism’ that Muslim leaders must scare would-be terrorists into submission, warning them about the impact suicide bombings will have on their immortal souls.

1. ‘Religious leaders must make this absolutely clear: Barbarism will deliver you no glory – piety to evil will bring you no dignity,’ Trump said in a sumptuous Saudi ballroom that put Mar-a-Lago to shame.

2. ‘If you choose the path of terror, your life will be empty, your life will be brief, and your soul will be fully condemned,’ he said.

3. ‘Heroes don’t kill innocents,’ a confident Trump declared at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh. ‘They save them.’

4. ‘Drive them out!’ he said. ‘Drive them out of your places of worship, Drive them out of your communities. Drive them out of your holy lands, and drive them out of this earth,’ he trumpeted. 

5. ‘With God’s help this summit will mark the beginning of the end for those who practice terror and spread its vile creed,’ the president said.

6. Trump insisted that fighting terrorism is ‘a battle between good and evil,’ not between ‘different faiths, different sects, or different civilizations.’

7. ‘Terrorists do not worship God. They worship death,’ (Daily Mail.com)

Our President essentially charged the leaders with standing for good, which is life, or supporting terror, which is a death cult. It is a stark choice that Yehovah God offered Israel on more than one occasion in the Bible.

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:30-32

Ezekiel 18 includes a revealing aspect of God’s character. Verses 23 and 32 Yehovah declares that He has no pleasure in the death of one who dies. Many think God has some perverse satisfaction in the death of the wicked. On the contrary, He grieves over losing them for His Kingdom. Thus, the call is always: “Turn and live!”

We must pray that the hearts of those who really “hear” the call from the Holy Spirit, will turn from evil and death with that eternal choice of life. We know it is only available from Yehovah God through His Son, the Messiah Yeshua.

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT

While we wait for the historic events of this weekend in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Brussels and Rome, here is a shocking revelation regarding leaders of Europe, followed by my view of President Trump’s Trip.

Europe’s Childless Leaders Sleepwalking Us to Disaster What do the leaders of Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Luxembourg and the First Minister of Scotland have in common? None of them have children. Why is this remarkable? If one or two were childless, you might overlook it as inconsequential. But six leaders begins to look like a pattern and worse, an influence on long-range European policy. Is there a connection to Germany’s Angela Merkel inviting a million and a half Muslim “refugees” into Germany and her absence of a personal posterity? Consider these quotes from an article from Gatestone Institute International Policy Council.

Angela Merkel made the fatal decision to open the doors of Germany to one million and half migrants to stop the demographic winter of her country. It is not a coincidence that Merkel, who has no children, has been called Mama Merkel “the compassionate mother” of migrants. Merkel evidently did not care if the massive influx of these migrants would change German society, probably forever.

“There have never been so many childless politicians leading Europe as today. They are modern, open minded and multicultural and they know that “everything finishes with them”. In the short term, being childless is a relief since it means no spending for families, no sacrifices and that no one complains about the future consequences. As in a research report financed by the European Union: “No kids, no problem!.”

• As Europe’s leaders have no children, they seem have no reason to worry about the future of their continent.
• “Europe today has little desire to reproduce itself, fight for itself or even take its own side in an argument”. — Douglas Murray, The Times.
• “‘Finding ourselves’ becomes more important than building a world.” — Joshua Mitchell.

That is why Turkish leader Erdogan urged Muslims to have “five children” and Islamic imams are urging the faithful to “breed children“: to conquer Europe. Islamic supremacists are busily building a clash of civilizations in Europe’s midst, and they depict their Western host countries collapsing: without population, without values, and abandoning their own culture.

Now for some perspective on this information and how President Trump’s first overseas trip relates. As the above cartoon illustrates, he will visit the headquarters of the world’s “three great religions.” The caption reads: “It’s more than presidential, it’s Messianic.” We will soon know the direction he will take. We are facing a clash of cultures on a Biblical scale. Whatever happens the next seven days, it will be prophetic fulfillment. Yehovah God Himself is orchestrating these events. He is firmly in control and His Plan will be seen in the end.

If Trump moves the US Embassy to Jerusalem it will certainly accelerate events with an explosive backlash from the Muslim world. If he does not, it will probably accelerate the rise of Islam by falling into the trap of “peaceful true Islam” versus the “radical terrorists who pervert Islam.” The problem with that hopeful division is that the radicals are actually truer to the faith and example of Mohammed. They are the fundamental faithful who ultimately expose the moderates as apostates from historic fundamental Islam.

Make no mistake. It will all come down to Jerusalem. That is why Monday and Tuesday are so important to see what President Trump says while in Jerusalem. Don’t be swayed by news reports that are all over the options. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Great advice from my Bible College days 50 years ago: “Don’t be a preacher who has to say something, be a preacher who has something to say.” That concept is missing today, not just with preachers, but everyone. People are spouting off their opinions all around, but not really saying anything. They just like to hear themselves talk. The reason they are not really saying anything is because they are disconnected from God’s voice. My goodness, there are many Christians who say God doesn’t even speak anymore, like He has gone mute.

That is why we have been hosting Issachar Forum: A Prophetic Think Tank for more than ten years. It is based on the reality of hearing God speak by the Holy Spirit, the Bible, creation and yes, even current events. In fact, He especially speaks about current events. Here is our basis:

We are not looking for man’s opinion, we seek Yehovah God’s world view, and especially His specific purpose in current events. As sons and daughters of Issachar, we may not wield much human influence, but we are mighty through prayer. Prayer changes nations.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4

So PRAY!

Here is an example. Why is Islam on the move? What about all the “refugees”? Where is God in all of it? Well, here is a Biblical view. Just as the Nazis nearly conquered Europe, Islam seeks global supremacy with a similar core purpose: the annihilation of the Jews and now the State of Israel. Just as in Egypt, Satan meant it for evil, but God turns it to good. I maintain that God reversed the aim of the Nazis and used their atrocities as a springboard to establish Israel (which by the way, He has said for millennia that He would do). So too, today, Yehovah will reverse Satan’s (and Islam’s goal) of destruction, to instead restore His beloved Israel. Here is the Biblical concept which sheds light on how God works.

“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says Yehovah, “that it shall no more be said, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.

“Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says Yehovah, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. Jeremiah 16:14-16

Though severe, it is our loving and faithful Father bringing His people home.

So, when you see something in the news, find out God’s purpose in it, and then PRAY into His will. If you want your prayers to be answered, try praying in agreement with what God has already said He intends to accomplish.

So PRAY something!

Here is an intriguing thought for meditation over the weekend. What if the Psalm 83 War is already over? What if Israel and the Psalm 83 states agree to a regional peace with Israel. This new cartoon raises the question. These same states have been trying to destroy Israel since 1948 through several wars.

I have maintained for several years that there would be one more war which Israel wins and then enjoys real peace for a few years. The big war of Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 is clearly when Israel is at peace with un-walled villages. This is not the case today. When Morsi (of the Muslim Brotherhood) ruled Egypt for one year, it seemed the fall of Jordan would allow for one last battle. But then a more friendly government rose in Egypt, and Jordan continues as Israel’s friend. So, I am willing to consider adjusting my scenario.

So what contradicts this new possibility? First, there may not be an agreement at all. The prospect could disappear in a puff of smoke. Also, Syria is certainly not yet in such a position. Plus, Hezbollah now has 100,000 rockets aimed at Israel, and they effectively control Lebanon thus blocking a role for Lebanon to join the peace. Finally, this new scenario is hard to get around Isaiah 17 and 19. The first text declares the complete destruction of Damascus. The second chapter describes a worse Egyptian civil war than Syria’s, along with the Nile River drying up completely, after which the remaining Egyptians accept the God of Israel and His “Savior”. Hmm, maybe I will stick with my original scenario.

And it will be for a sign and for a witness to Yehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yehovah because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then Yehovah will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yehovah in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to Yehovah and perform it. And Yehovah will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to Yehovah, and He will be entreated by them and heal them. Isaiah 19:20-22
