Is the Western Hemisphere even in the Bible? Others have offered their thoughts, but I have never heard anyone mention Ezekiel 20. The key is synching history and geography with the text. Let me give it a shot. First the background passage of Ezekiel 20.

The Sin: Yehovah God is pronouncing judgment on Israel for Baal worship that included human sacrifice of their own children. The pagan deity demanded they kill their firstborn by throwing them in a fire through the mouth of the stone idol. Loud drums were used to drown out the crying infant. That’s what this verse means:

“For when you offer your gifts and make your sons pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day.” Ezekiel 20:31

The Timing: When does this prophecy occur in history? Verse 34 reveals the time Israel is regathered from being scattered to “all the countries.” It is not Egypt or Babylon, which were to a single country, so it must refer to the great Diaspora (or dispersion) to the whole world by the Romans. This has lasted nearly 2,000 years, and is only now ending with the supernatural restoration of the nation and land of Israel.

“I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out.” Ezekiel 20:34

The Geography: When God gathers them, where are they gathered? This is an important historical point not to be missed. After the Holocaust most of the surviving Jews did not go to Israel as you may think. They went West. Until recently there were more Jews in America alone than in Israel, not even counting Canada and South America. In the total span of history, America is relatively new and had even been considered an uncharted wilderness for much of our existence. I submit that the U.S. is “the wilderness of the peoples.”

“And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,” says the Lord Yehovah.” Ezekiel 20:35-36

The Judgment: If you are still with me, you see they have a very specific purpose in this “wilderness of the people” stage. God will cause them to “pass under the rod”, a reference to the way the shepherds counted and separated sheep. (Remember the story of Jacob and Laban.) God will “purge the rebels”, who will not be allowed to go to Israel because of their rebellion against Yehovah. Not all Jews love God. Some hate Him and are leading purveyors of evil (such as pornography and atheistic Marxism).

“I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yehovah.” Ezekiel 20:37-38

The Promise: The implication is clear. Since the rebels cannot make “aliyah” (immigrate to Israel), the Jews who are not rebels will ultimately go to Israel. This separation is taking place as we speak in 2019. You can see it happening even in the political realm. As the Democrat party becomes less and less Biblical, and more and more rebellious, God-fearing Jews are forced to choose. Of course this applies to Christians as well. Both parties used to be pro-Israel, but no more. There is even a youth movement called “Exodus”, of Jews leaving the Democrat party.

“For on My holy mountain, on the mountain height of Israel,” says the Lord Yehovah, “there all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, shall serve Me; there I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings and the firstfruits of your sacrifices, together with all your holy things. I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles.” Ezekiel 20:40-41

Pass – over Easter?

Passover Lamb

Do Passover and Easter conflict with each other? As a Christian Zionist, this is important to me. There are three reasons they agree and one huge reason they conflict. It’s really not that complicated. The original events commemorated are in total agreement. It is only the later traditions added that confuse the issue.

So let me explain. Have you heard of this saying about the Old and New Testaments? “The Old is in the New revealed and the New is in the Old concealed.” This is a summary of the concept that, as Yehovah God was revealing His purpose, first with Israel and then all the nations, it was a progressive revelation.

Passover, and the other feasts of Yehovah in Leviticus 23, are the pattern for the entire Bible/human history. Before the Messiah came, the possibility of relationship with God was primarily national. After He came it was revealed to be intimately personal. This was not a new plan, but was hidden in the Torah, or Old Testament, all along. Abraham was saved not for who he was, but because he believed God. For example, here is a paragraph I recently wrote for a small group in my home town:

Celebrating the resurrection is certainly Biblical because it is the fulfillment of First Fruits, the third feast of Yehovah on the morning after the Sabbath. See Leviticus 23. Yeshua (Jesus) is the Passover Lamb. He is also the Unleavened (by sin) Bread, and then the first fruit from the dead. Hallelujah! (FYI – I personally do not use the name “Easter” because it comes from the name of the Babylonian goddess Ishtar, goddess of fertility, and thus the rabbits and eggs.)

So, the three feasts of Passover week are fulfilled in Jesus with perfect symmetry. The same is true for Shavuot/Pentecost, and the Fall Feasts. (I gave a ten-minute summary of each Feast in this radio interview. Listen to the first part about Passover.)

The big deal about the clash between Passover and Easter, is certainly not about Scripture, it is about tradition. As I said in the above quote, Easter is a name traced back to the top Babylonian goddess, a pagan deity of fertility that appears by many names throughout history. This was never originally associated with the resurrection of Yeshua. It was later added intentionally to divert from Jesus.

The crazy fact is that even though the name Easter came into use many hundreds of years after Jesus, the name actually appears in the King James Bible in a mega translation error:

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Acts 12:4 KJV

This is terribly unfortunate because virtually all other translations make the correction. The Greek word is “Pesach” which literally means “Passover.” If you look at the preceding verses in the New King James you see a direct reference to Passover (Unleavened Bread) in verse 3.

Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. Acts 12:1-4 NKJV

As for me and my house, we will celebrate two glorious historic days of deliverance this weekend. We will thank our Father God for the fabulous night almost 4,000 years ago that the death Angel passed over every house, which had the blood of a spotless lamb on the doorpost. We will also celebrate and worship the living Lamb of God who died and rose from the dead after three days; whose blood has washed over us who believe, so that we are clean before God. Death has passed over us by the gracious unmerited favor of God over all who believe in Him, who is the Living Passover Lamb.

Understanding Hamas?

What is Hamas? Hamas is the acronym of al-Harakat al-Muqawwama al-Islamiyya—the name of the Islamic Resistance Movement, a Palestinian Sunni-Islamist terror organization that is legally banned by the United States, Canada, the EU and Israel. CUFI

The above definition of Hamas by Christians United For Israel rightly explains that Hamas is an acronym for the terror movement’s Arabic name. Why did they specifically choose to end up with Hamas as their name? The answer is in the Bible. The five letter name has a subtle message to Israelis. Even though it is an acronym in Arabic, it forms a real word in Hebrew. What is the word? It is “violence”. Here are a few examples of “hamas” in the Hebrew text. Each use of “violence” is the Hebrew word “hamas”. Try changing “violence” to “hamas” as you read.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. … And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:11 & 13

The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation,
My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. 2 Samuel 22:3

Yehovah tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates. Psalm 11:5

For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. Proverbs 4:17

The violence of the wicked will destroy them, because they refuse to do justice. Proverbs 21:7

Over fifty more verses in the Bible use this Hebrew word and the Hamas terrorists know it well and intended it to intimidate Israel. (Read the list of uses of “violence”.) However, they fail because Yehovah God fights for Israel. When you scan down the list, you see that God will settle accounts with all men who use violence in such a way.

Remember that Yehovah judged the entire planet in Noah’s day. You can be sure that he will judge this present day terror group, and all the terror clones that rule and intimidate with violence.

Not Flesh and Blood

For several months now, I have heard that we are to bind the spirit of Haman (from the Book of Esther) in the U.S. and Israel. The same spirit attacks both Trump and Netanyahu. We will see victory when we carry the fight into Satan’s realm. I believe the strong victory of Netanyahu in this week’s election is one such win.

Do you think we can take this phrase literally? “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood,” Until we do, we will keep losing our spiritual battles.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

The word for “wrestle” is from a Greek root that means to “vibrate”. Maybe that is the source of the slang: “bad vibes”. We indeed are in a cosmic battle for this planet. But it is not about human enemies (flesh & blood), but real living beings (spiritual hosts of wickedness) in heavenly places. These are real demonic forces in another dimension, who are principalities and rulers. There is no battleground in which to engage them. They occupy “heavenly places.” How can this be? There are three heavens in the Bible. One is the physical canopy of the clouds, sun, moon, and stars. Then there is the Heaven of God’s residence, the third heaven. But, in between, is the second heaven, the sphere where Satan holds limited authority over the earthly realm of unbelievers.

The apostle Paul spoke of a “third heaven.” He also spoke of “the prince of the power of the air,”

Satan’s power is less than the authority given to believers, in and through the Messiah, Jesus. Therefore, we must learn to wrestle and triumph over the enemy, through spiritual means. That is why Jesus gave us His power and authority in the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in us is greater than the devil or his demons. The problem is that many believers are unaware of our authority, and thus try to fight against flesh and blood humans. It is time for us to rise up in the Holy Spirit and carry the battle to the real enemy.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Jesus: Luke 10:19-20

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

Read Ephesians 6:10-18 to get the full picture of the armor of God. It is time go to war in the second heaven, and to wake up, stand up, and speak up, for the Kingdom of Yehovah God and King Jesus.

Israel Election!

Please pray for God’s purpose and blessing for Israel’s elections tomorrow (midnight tonight Eastern Daylight time). I still believe Prime Minister Netanyahu is chosen to lead Israel at this time. He has been under accusations at home similar to President Trump in America.

Our intercession has been based on the Book of Esther. Pray that the spirit of Haman (which is the spirit of Amalek) would be bound, and pray that the evil plot would be revealed. I am praying this way for both countries, and both leaders.

For Israel, it is about dividing the land. For the U.S it is about blessing and standing with Israel. President Trump has been the most pro-Israel president in history.

Great news announced yesterday by PM Netanyahu! He declared that he will extend sovereignty over the West Bank (Biblical Judea and Samaria). He is the first Prime Minister in Israel’s modern history to say there will be no Palestinian state between the Jordan River and the Sea. That is really big! It is the end of the “two state” fantasy.

Palestine-O-Phobia?

We have a new phobia used to attack Jews and Christians. It has been confirmed by none other than the Mayor of New York City. Before I start, let me share my opinion about “Islamophobia,” which has been quite useful in intimidating just about everybody from uttering even the slightest criticism of Islam. Now to be sure, a proper attitude should be maintained in all civil discourse, but disagreement and even criticism is a necessary component of a free society (freedom of speech).

Islamophobia by definition means being afraid of Islam. I am not afraid of Islam, I just disagree with its basic tenets of religion and its political form of Sharia. Conflating fear, with a difference of opinion, is a propaganda coup. Again, I. Am. Not. Afraid. In fact, I love muslim people and praise God for the millions who are finding Jesus as the Son of God, and becoming ex-muslims. (My book, Simple Islam, is available on Kindle for a modest price.)

As a Christian (Zionist) I believe that the Messiah came to save all people and loves all people including Muslims. Yet, according to basic Biblical revelation, it requires our assent and embracing of the aforementioned Savior as sent by Yehovah God to provide the salvation the world so desperately needs.

So, back to Palestine-O-Phobia. A New York City Councilman lost his seat on an immigration committee this week because he stated the fact that there is no country of Palestine and never has been one. The mayor demanded that he apologize. Can you take back a true statement?

De Blasio demands apology for ‘there is no Palestine’ statement – “There is no state by that name; there is no place by that name. That’s a fact. I did not make it up,” says New York City councilman. (Israel National News)

Where exactly is your ‘Palestine,’ Mayor de Blasio? – He did not play by the rules, as dictated by the Democrats, so New York City Councilman Kalman Yeger has been bounced off the council’s immigration committee. That’s his punishment for saying “there is no Palestine,” and then refusing to apologize, and if they could send him to a Soviet-Mao style “re-education camp,” they would. We don’t have reorientation gulags here yet, but it’s coming, and already exists on campus. Free speech for me, but not for thee. One man speaks up and it’s like he disturbed a wasps-nest.

…since 1964…the ‘Palestinians’ have been the world’s number one concern, even though they have been nothing but a headache and exist in no history books. Nothing to be found about them before June 2, 1964. That’s when the Arab League certified them as the PLO. That’s when they became a ‘people’ — a people still in search of an ancestry. Is It Islamophobic To Deny That ‘Palestine’ Exists? – Prior to 1948 and the birth of Israel, the only group that answered to the name “Palestinians” were Jewish residents of the British Mandate for Palestine. Non-Jews who lived there considered themselves Arabs, not Palestinians, because there had never in history been a separate Palestinian Arab political entity or, prior to the birth of modern Zionism, a national movement that represented the ambitions of such a group. Yet, even on the lie that “there is a country called Palestine”, some accuse of Islamophobia. There seems to be no limit on the outlandish claims. Let’s pray that cooler heads prevail, or better yet, pray that the revealed truth of the Bible will be received by all who love the truth.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

Jewish “Deal of the Century”

Since President Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Israel (including redrawing the map), many Israeli’s are moving on to recognizing the West Bank as Israel. The Bible refers to that area as Judea and Samaria. From a trickle just a few years ago, it is now a flood of calls to annex or at least extend sovereignty over the West Bank.

A survey conducted by the Sovereignty Journal suggests that a large majority of Israeli Jews now oppose the two-state solution, with growing support for the application of Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. Also in the journal: There has been significant progress in the first and only Outline Plan (TAMA) to include Judea and Samaria as part of the State of Israel. ‘The Jewish Deal of the Century’ – INN

So what is the Bible context of such a goal? God’s original promise to Abraham clearly defined the final borders of Israel. The question is only: When will this happen?

US Recognition of the Golan Paves Way for Other Biblical Lands – An Israeli official pointed to US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty on the Golan Heights as an opportunity to officially reclaim other biblical lands captured during the Six Day War. (Israel Today)

Mr. President, let’s repeat Golan Heights in Judea and Samaria – Trump could well turn his attention now to recognising the legal right of Jews to live in Judea and Samaria. (INN)

You Said It, You Did It.

Prime Minister Netanyahu made another of his excellent speeches today in the White House with President Trump. The occasion was the Declaration of the US recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights in northern Israel. This one-minute clip highlights the fact that President Trump does what he says he will do. The PM mentions four times that the President said he would do something for Israel and each time he did. Therefore, he is Israel’s best friend. (Click here for the full fourteen-minute video.)

During my recent Florida ministry, I declared everywhere that we should pray for the spirit of Haman (from the Book of Esther) to be bound and the evil plot exposed. Today we see that happening in the news, with the Mueller Report finding no collusion. Also, one of Trump’s worst critics, Michael Avenatti, was arrested for multiple criminal acts. The Golan decision is part of allowing the Jews to defend themselves.

Now we wait for the results of two more reports that will likely be shocking to the Haman plotters.

Trump allies await results of two internal probes – Trump allies are now awaiting the results of two long-running internal probes that could expose the back story behind the Russia probe’s beginnings — and provide more detail on already-documented misconduct among top FBI and DOJ officials.

DOJ Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz confirmed at a panel discussion last week that his office is continuing to review potential surveillance abuses by the FBI, a review that began last March and that Fox News is told is nearing completion.
Republicans, meanwhile, are increasingly looking for answers from U.S. Attorney for Utah John Huber, who was appointed a year ago by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions to review not only surveillance abuses by the FBI and DOJ, but also authorities’ handling of the probe into the Clinton Foundation.

The attempted genocide of the Jews has been repeated throughout history, yet Yehovah God has preserved them to this very day.

When Haman saw that Mordecai would not bow down or show him respect, he was filled with rage. He had learned of Mordecai’s nationality, so he decided it was not enough to lay hands on Mordecai alone. Instead, he looked for a way to destroy all the Jews throughout the entire empire of Xerxes. Esther 3:5-6 NLT

We must continue to intercede for our nation and for Israel, where Netanyahu is under similar accusations from the same spirit of Haman. God is moving, but we must keep praying.

Israel’s Golan: A Purim Miracle

BREAKING: Great news! President Trump has just recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights which Israel annexed in 1981. This is a similar bombshell recognition as the US declaring Jerusalem is Israel’s capital and moving our Embassy there.

“Okay gang, so here’s what happened; The calendar rolled around to March 7 (the day before my 81st birthday ) and the LSW (Long Suffering Wife) had surprised me with a balloon, a couple of squeaky toys, and a b’day card. (We’ve taken to such saccharine rituals in recent years). But the real surprise for me was just how much I’ve been laid low with a case of Israeli pneumonia ( with stays in two separate hospitals).”
“Update from the LSW: Sali, the LSW here: Yaakov had the strength to do the cartoon, but not to finish the posting, so I will fill you in a bit more. He has been in the hospital 3 times in the last month. He has now been home about a week but is on full time oxygen and lots of antibiotics and since he is not strong enough to climb the stairs to the bedroom, he is in a rented hospital bed in the living room and I am sleeping on the couch so there will be someone near him in the middle of the night. The pneumonia turns out to be a very debilitating sickness. He will be back with you all just as soon as possible. (Getting old is not for the squeamish)”

Our 2019 Purim Prayer!

As Doreen and I travel on our Florida ministry tour, a strong prophetic word has emerged at each event. “Pray for the spirit of Haman to be exposed!” This Wednesday at sunset is the beginning of Purim, the Jewish observance of the great victory in the Book of Esther. Haman plotted the total genocide of all Jews in his day. Only the courageous intervention of Esther reversed the plot, after it was exposed.

Today we see the same evil spirit of Haman plotting the overthrow of God’s purpose to bless Israel in political attacks on both President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu. Both men are being used by Yehovah God in His restoration and favor of Israel. We must pray for them both as never before.

Israel elections are April 9th and could swing Israel to the left, but for God. Media has proclaimed a lie that Netanyahu has been indicted, but he has not. It was announced that there may be enough to indict, but the next legal proceeding is a hearing where he can defend himself with witnesses. Only then will the decision be made whether to indict. The catch is that the hearing cannot take place till after the election. Is it a coincidence that this confusion will taint the election? Pray that Haman’s evil plan will backfire.

Personal Update: We have enjoyed wonderful ministry at each stop with numerous personal ministry appoints, reunions (Happy anniversary Kevin & Roseanne), and four public meetings with one more to go. We managed to enjoy our favorite pizza place on Clearwater Beach and several long beach walks (see sunset photo above). We always love our time at “the Raymond resort” with our dear friends. Thanks to Gulf Coast Church for their hospitality and lodging, and the bonus Lee University Campus Choir concert. The next few day are in Ft. Meyers and Naples (thanks Duane).Please continue your prayer support for our last meeting Thursday night with Fred & Tracy Norris in Charleston, SC.

A Palestinian State Has Never Existed

There has never been a Palestinian state. The name came from the Romans after they defeated the Jews and destroyed the Temple. They named the “area” (which was not a state or country of itself) as an offense to the Jews because of the Philistines, Israel’s Biblical nemesis.

Under British rule the area was called Palestine as a continuation of the Roman slight to the Jews. However, all residents were called Palestinians including Jews. Invented by the Soviets, it was soon picked up by Yasser Arafat, founder of the PLO, Palestine Liberation Organization.

The Soviet secret spy agency KGB invented the so-called “Palestinian People” in 1964.

All people born in British Mandatory Palestine between 1923-1948 (today’s Israel) had “Palestine” stamped on their passports at the time. But when they were called Palestinians, the Arabs were offended. They complained: “We are not Palestinians, we are Arabs. The Palestinians are the Jews”. Gatestone Institute

So now the whole world thinks these Arabs from Syria, Egypt, Iraq and other Arab states should have another state in the Land of Israel. Let me say one thing clearly. It is not going to happen. God has an entirely different Plan!

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Today the Moon!

With overnight launch, Israel aims to be fourth country to land on the moon – Times of Israel

Thirty minutes from now, as I type this blog, Israel will launch its moonshot from Cape Canaveral, Florida (at 8:45 PM Thursday February 21, 2019). Israel is only the fourth nation to send a lander to the moon after the US, Russia, and China.

Queen of BDS

LOL: Palestinian ‘Queen of BDS’ Has a ‘Made in Israel’ Website – The Israel Advocacy Movement has uncovered a juicy and hilarious bit of information that once again exposes both the foolishness and failure of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

Rashida Tlaib was among a handful of radical Democratic candidates to suddenly find herself in the spotlight after winning a seat in the US House of Representatives. Tlaib is most known not for what she plans to do for her constituents in Michigan, but rather for her overtly hostile positions vis-a-vis Israel.

You see, Tlaib is an America of “Palestinian” Arab descent, and she absolutely hates the Jewish state. She’s on record as saying the US should cut military aid to Israel. She’s also a big supporter of BDS, a campaign that tries, wildly unsuccessfully, to economically choke Israel out of existence.

So, we couldn’t help but burst into laughter after finding out that Tlaib’s campaign website was built on the Wix platform! As many people will know, Wix is not only one of the Internet’s top platforms for ready-made websites, it’s also one of Israel’s most successful Internet start-ups, headquartered in Tel Aviv.

No doubt Tlaib will immediately move her website to a different platform provider after realizing her grave mistake. Too Heavenly Minded?

He is so heavenly minded, he is no earthly good. Have you every come across that sentiment? Many Christians today get so caught up in their own goals that they lose sight of eternal reality. The bigger problem is this: He is so earthly minded, he is no Heavenly good.

Which is it? Maybe I am more sensitive because of advancing age, but this life goes by amazingly fast.

For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he passes like a shadow? Who can tell a man what will happen after him under the sun? Ecclesiastes 6:12

The fact is that unless we are Heavenly minded, we can do little earthly good. Should we retire to our cave and drop out? Of course not. On the contrary, I find myself speaking into this world more emphatically in my later years. Having “been around the mountain a few times,” as the saying goes. So my perspective is quite different from millenials. I am not better than them, just better off. Having the advantage of the wisdom of age, we learn to trust the truth of God’s words. We could save the young ones a lot of pain if only we could teach the young ones the shortcut:

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Jesus in John 10:27

C. S. Lewis made a profound comment on the subject:

If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next. The apostles themselves, who set on foot the conversion of the Roman Empire, the great men who built up the Middle Ages, the English Evangelicals who abolished the Slave Trade, all left their mark on Earth, precisely because their minds were occupied with Heaven. It is since because Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this. Prophecy News Watch

So, here are a couple pieces of advice to American Christians.

If you are in a church that embraces lesbian bishops, immoral priests, anti-Semitism, replacement theology, abortion and other obvious Biblical transgressions, you should leave that group and find some fellow believers.
If you are in a political party that likewise embraces those same things, it is time to leave.

How tragic that some cannot see the clear differences that have emerged in recent years. It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. Don’t kid yourself. Take a stand. If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. Believe the Bible, look to Heaven for the return of the Messiah. Be prepared for eternity by living eternal values now.

Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Matthew 24:42-44 ESV

Pope Kissing Grand Imam of Sunni Islam

Yes. He. Did. This is the Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Universtiy. He is considered to be the most important imam in Sunni Islam. He has stated multiple times that Muslims who convert to Christianity should be killed.

The leading voice for over a billion Muslims states that apostasy is a crime punishable by death and that human rights and sexual liberty are diseases. Link: Grand Imam on YouTube 4 min. 13 secs.

Pope Francis Tells Islamic Imam Who Wants to Kill Christian Converts, “You’re my brother…” – El-Tayeb affirmed on his television show during the 2016 Ramadan celebration, “Contemporary apostasy presents itself in the guise of crimes, assaults, and grand treason, so we deal with it now as a crime that must be opposed and punished…. Those learned in Islam [al-fuqaha] and the imams of the four schools of jurisprudence consider apostasy a crime and agree that the apostate must either renounce his apostasy or else be killed.“ (Video link above)

The Pope kissed a notorious Islamist anti-Semite – Francis kissed an anti-Semite and an Islamist of the worst kind. “The solution to Israeli terror lies in the proliferation of suicide attacks that spread terror into the hearts of Allah’s enemies”, said Ahmed al Tayyeb during the Second Intifada. It goes without saying that “the Palestinians have the right to blow up everything they want” (women, children, bars, buses, as long as the victims are Jewish Zionists).

Pope Francis, Leading Imam Sign Covenant Pushing Us Toward One-World Religion –There is a lot of language about peace in this document, but it goes way beyond just advocating for peace. Over and over again, the word “God” is used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity. On top of that, the document also boldly declares that “the diversity of religions” that we see in the world was “willed by God”:

“The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, … Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected,” (document)

My book, Simple Islam says plainly that the god of Islam is not a father and that he has no son, therefore it is a different god from the Bible. (see Proverbs 30:4)

Even more stark are the direct words of Jesus Himself:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;” John 14:6-7

The one-world religion is destined to clash head-on with Biblical believers. Where do you stand? There is no middle ground. Don’t be deceived. Love the truth.

Israel to the Moon!

Yes, really. Israel is sending a lunar lander to the moon and blast-off is this month. It will take two or three months before the landing. Israel will be the fourth nation to the moon after the US, Russia, and China. But the big news, is that it’s a private company, not the Israeli government doing it.

SPACE IL – FIRST ISRAELI SPACECRAFT ON THE MOON SpaceIL’s spacecraft will launch as a secondary payload on a SPACEX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida and land on the Moon about two months later.

First Private Lunar Spacecraft Shoots for the Moon – The moon’s next visitor is different. SpaceIL’s Beresheet — Hebrew for “In the Beginning” — will become the first privately funded mission to launch from Earth and land on the moon, and the first spacecraft to propel itself over the lunar surface after landing by “hopping” on its rocket engine to a second landing spot.

United Anti-Semites

Have you noticed the common denominator with dictators, terrorists and all who hate freedom? They all hate Israel and the Jews. We have discussed the great division of “sheep and goat” nations, and it always comes down to their stance regarding Israel.

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’: Matthew 25:32

Don’t you think it is strange that Muslims who hate democracy and freedom seem to be allied with the radical left-wing Marxists and anarchists like Antifa? The “resistance” mantra of the new left in the Democrat Party (see Women’s March) is laced with anti-Semitism.

It would appear that we have reached that point in prophetic history where demons of hell are released on the earth.

And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. Revelation 9:2-3

When Yehovah God first spoke His promise to Abram, it was regarding the one nation of Israel that would, in turn, bless all the families of the earth. “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” Genesis 12:3 Think of it in a more practical way. If you need finances, pray for Israel’s finances. If you need healing, pray for Israel’s healing. If you need protection, pray for Israel’s protection. If you need peace, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Do you see my point?

BLESSED – More Than We Deserve

Dave Ramsey was the first one I heard use the phrase in the title of this blog. I have since used it many times to express my own belief. We are all truly blessed more than we deserve. This is based on the Biblical truth called “original sin.” It simply means that we are born with selfishness, rebellion, and the tendency to sin. We don’t deserve God’s grace, it is a free gift. We are only able to overcome our natural desires through being “born again” to a new life in the Savior, Jesus the Messiah.

Jesus defeated Satan’s poison pill of self-will in the Garden of Gethsemane, when He declared three times: “Not my will by Your will be done!” This was explained in more detail in my December 17 video from when I spoke in Kenya.

When we follow the Messiah’s example of surrendering our will to our Heavenly Father, we too will find victory and blessing. The point is this. Because of our sinful self-will, we do not deserve blessing. But, due to the price paid by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and the cross, we are free. We are free to receive the blessings of Yehovah God and walk in the footsteps of Yeshua.

Everything I have said is very personal, but it also applies nationally. America does not deserve the grace of God either. We only enjoy His blessings as we serve Him. Much of the tribulation of this generation is the result of turning away from God.

The same applies to Israel and the Jewish people. They, too, are undeserving. Yet, Yehovah has chosen to bless them in our day because of the unfailing promises He gave to their forefathers. After nineteen hundred years of judgement, He has turned the page (since the Holocaust) to favor, restoration, and blessing. Again, this applies to individuals as they recognize the Messiah, and to the nation as it lines up with the prophesied purpose of God.

Therefore we must all humble ourselves before Him, repent of our self-will, and receive the provision delivered to us by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. There is no other way.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. 1 Peter 5:6

If you want to understand God, you must learn to “stand under” Him.

Miracle in Your Mouth

“There’s a miracle in your mouth! Words are seeds. You are planting seeds when you speak. Don’t say something about the mountain, say something to the mountain!”

Our recent ministry in Kenya blessed Doreen and I in many ways. One of the best was the brief visit of Bishop Peter Susa, a genuine Kenyan father in the faith. He was an elderly man of God who has been preaching faith all of his life. The quote above was from his declaration. It was an honor to sit under his teaching. Here is just a short summary outline of his message.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

You must hear the word of God.
You must believe the word, not traditions.
You must say what you believe. Speak the word. Words are seeds.
You must receive. There’s a miracle in your mouth!

Heavenly Father, help us to walk in this revelation every moment of our lives. I pray blessing on Bishop Peter Susa and all of Kenya. Thank you Lord Yehovah and Yeshua your Son.

The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Hadith and SahihMuslim#6985

Although there are multiple interpretations of this verse, it is repeated often by radical Islamic leaders as justification for killing Jews. It is even part of the Hamas Covenant, a designated terror group, at the end of Chapter One Article Seven. It is followed by Article Eight:

“Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model to be followed, the Koran its constitution, Jihad its way, and death for the sake of Allah its loftiest desire.” Hamas Covenant

Islam’s Jew-Hating Hadith in Context – The infamous hadith about the Jew hiding behind a tree is not some apocryphal canon held in esteem by an unimportant few, but runs parallel to anti-Jewish motifs throughout the Koran.

In addition to the words used in the title, annihilate and eliminate, we can add genocide, eradicated and “total extinction”. Here is a list of statements made about Israel using these words. Just read through a few of the threats and you will clearly see spirit of death that emanates from such hatred.

Yet still, remember that Jesus died for the whole world. All who come to Him as Messiah and Son of God will find life. Many are turning to the living God Yehovah,the Life-Giver; and they are finding deliverance from the death cult of unbelief. Pray that all who love the truth will find it in Yeshua, who Himself is the truth.

2019 – Nazi-style Anti-Semitic Flyer

You glance at this flyer and assume it is from the 1930’s, but it was distributed in Newton, Massachusetts on Sunday January 13, 2019. Last year saw a rise in anti-Semitic hate in the U.S. and around the world. Please don’t be ignorant of this alarming trend. Pray for the Jewish people, and pray for Israel. The root of this hate is from the Evil One.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies? Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up? They devise crafty schemes against your people; they conspire against your precious ones. “Come,” they say, “let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence.” Yes, this was their unanimous decision. They signed a treaty as allies against you. Psalm 83:2-5

Locust Plague in Mecca

The unprecedented event this week in Mecca amazingly corresponds to this week’s Torah reading in Jewish synagogues. They read from Exodus 10:1 – 13:16 about the locust plague in Egypt.

Is it simply irony that in the weekly Torah portion Jews read about the final five plagues – boils, fiery hail, locusts, darkness and death of first-born males – that God sent to afflict Pharaoh and the Egyptians, a swarm of locusts attacks Islam’s holiest mosque? Prophecy in the news

4,000 Terrorists

Controversy broke out when White House press secretary Sarah Sanders stated the “4,000 terrorists” number on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. But the real truth goes way beyond the media twisting of the narrative. They think they have a big story because most were apprehended at airports. But here is my question: If “roughly 10 a day” are blocked by our excellent security at airports, how many are missed at the border where they avoid checkpoints entirely? The media gleefully trumpeted that even Chris Wallace exposed the “lie.” However, it turns out that it is a legitimate reference to a stat from the Department of Homeland Security:

The United States has also put in place measures to dramatically improve screening and vetting of individuals traveling to our shores. We have made applications more rigorous…intensified background checks…put in place new information sharing requirements…launched a new National Vetting Center to better leverage intelligence…and more.

The result is that we are identifying and stopping terror suspects who would otherwise have gone undetected. In fact, on average, my Department now blocks 10 known or suspected terrorists a day from traveling to or attempting to enter the United States. Blocking 4,000 terrorist where we make them pass through high security (facial recognition, hi-tech x-rays, watch lists, etc.) is an unbelievably high number. They know they will be screened and yet they try. Please just think about it. Why wouldn’t they eventually figure out it would be much easier to slip into our country in places with absolutely NO checkpoint or security of any kind?

The “4,000” stat actually confirms the danger of the open border. How many terrorists a day would we catch if every single person had to go through a security screening at the border just like airports? The border should be closed except for secure crossing points.

Would you leave all your doors and windows open to your own home, and allow anyone enter anytime without your knowledge? Do rich people build walls around their property? Do bears live in the woods? Ridiculous questions!

And Oh, by-the-way, God is a nationalist, not a globalist. Nations were His idea.

He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat. Psalm 147:14

Rise in High Intensity Earthquakes

Major earthquakes have gone from one per decade to one per year!

Jesus said several signs will increase like birth pains before He returns (Matthew 24:8). This means those signs will increase in frequency and intensity before the Second Coming. One of the signs Jesus cited is earthquakes (Matthew 24:7). We’ve seen a marked increase in the frequency of high intensity earthquakes over the past two decades.

From 1900 to 1950, the world only registered six 8.0 magnitude earthquakes. Since 2010, we’ve had ten. Earlier this year, more than 70 earthquakes hit the Pacific Ring of Fire in a 48-hour period. The earth is preparing for the King’s return! Prophecy New Watch

It is true that we have always had earthquakes, but the intensity rise indicates we are nearing the end of history as we know it. The birth pains Jesus spoke about are now happening. He was answering the question: “What will be the sign of your return?” His answer is called the “Olivet Discourse” because he was speaking on the Mount of Olives, the exact location of His Second Coming. This conversation is recorded in Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13.

Here is an amazing observation. All of the signs He mentions are true in every generation to some degree, except one. Only one sign has an absolute time stamp. It is the sign of Jerusalem!

“And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24

This time-specific reference has an exact historical fulfillment of June 1967. Jerusalem was trampled down by the Gentile nations from 70 AD to 1967. This was not even fulfilled when Israel became a nation in 1948. Jerusalem was still held by Jordan until 1967. The restoration of Jerusalem was not only a fulfillment of the overall restoration of Israel, it confirms that we are in the generation that will welcome the Messiah. Hallelujah!

Yehovah God, the Father, turned the page of history in 1948. For nearly 2,000 years the Jews never won a war. But since 1948, they have never lost a war. What changed? It is the time of God’s restoration and favor of Israel. It is in this very season that the great sign of the Second Coming was given to erase all doubt. Jerusalem is restored to Israel! Fasten your seatbelt, the Messiah is at the door.

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21

Netanyahu Postage Stamp for Brazil

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the swearing-in of Brazil’s new President on January 1. While there he was honored with a postage stamp. Most of the Israeli news coverage claims it calls Netanyahu “savior,” but I disagree. His picture and name are on the left, but the right side of the stamp is all about commemorating Israel’s 70th Year celebration. The word on the star of David is “Messiah.” My guess is that the Israeli media would rather interpret it as applying to the PM rather than recognize it was a statement about the soon-coming Messiah. Here is a close-up of lower right corner of the stamp. Below the “70” is the Hebrew for Mazel Tov!, which means: “Good fortune!”

It is the Brazilian evangelical/Pentecostal community that is behind the stamp, and that brought President Bolsonaro to power. Whatever the intent, I rejoice in the new healthy relationship between Israel and Brazil, South America’s largest country. The new President is going to move their Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“Mr Bolsonaro also said this: I will move the embassy to Jerusalem. It’s not a question of if, just a question of when,” Netanyahu said. (Times of Israel)

New Israel Elections

Prophesy To The Land! 6 jpg While most of us have been unplugged for the holidays, big news is breaking in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu has called early elections for April 9. The scheduled time was November 2019 so it is only six months early, but is shaking up Israeli politics. The good news is that the Prime Minister has a big lead in early polls.

Political attacks on the conservative Likud government headed by Netanyahu are strikingly similar to those against President Trump. I have the same answer for both men. They are in place to do the will of Yehovah God regarding His restoration and favor of Israel. If either leader veers away from enacting God’s plan for the Land of Israel, he will surely fall.

The Land, The Land, The Land! It is always about the Land of Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump have been raised up by God to protect the Land of Israel. Ezekiel 22 is about the severe judgment against Israel for defiling the Land. It led to the scattering to all the nations because Yehovah could find no leader to stand up for the Land.

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30

The judgment certainly was severe (see Romans 11:22). But the story does not end there. God promised the restoration of Israel and the Land, in the end times. We now see that He turned the page after the Holocaust (described in Psalm 102), and pronounced the set time to favor Zion had come!

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

From 70 A.D. to 1948 the Jews never won a war. From 1948 to now, they never lost a war. What changed? God turned the page from judgment to favor and restoration. Hallelujah! So, now He is using two leaders to stand in the gap for the Land of Israel. This is so much bigger than politics. Pray for President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Pray for rain and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Simeon the Prophet

One of the best parts of Messiah’s birth story is often overlooked. The story of Simeon holds EIGHT amazing prophesies about the purpose of Jesus, in just one short passage in the Gospel of Luke.

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:25-35

Holy Spirit was on Simeon, leading him to the Temple at the precise moment.
Holy Spirit revealed that he would live to see the Messiah.
Simeon held baby Jesus and saw salvation (Hebrew “yeshua”). There would be a dozen or so babies at any given time. And, no; baby Jesus did not have a halo. Simeon recognized Him by the supernatural revelation of the Holy Spirit.
He amazingly prophesied that Jesus would bring His light to the Gentiles!
His salvation would also be the glory of Israel.
Jesus was destined to preside or the fall and then the rise of Israel. Nations normally rise and fall, but Israel was about to fall (rejecting the Messiah) and then rise in the last days. We see this now in our generation.
The sign (of Jesus’ death) would be spoken against (even piercing Mary’s soul).
The very method of His death would expose the hearts of every person.

As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,
And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 9:33

The baby in Simeon’s arms was indeed the SALVATION of all who believe on Him.

Yeshua ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah. Yeshua ben Yehovah, Jesus Son of Yehovah! Remember the reason for the season and have a blessed Christmas honoring Him.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for continuing rain in Israel all winter.

Most Important Prayer Meeting in the History of the World

Four people attended this prayer meeting, and three fell asleep. Yet, history was made in the outcome! Eight words were spoken that changed the course of humanity. The curse of Satan was reversed by these eight words: “Not MY will, but THY will be done!”

My devotional of Thursday morning last week in Kenya, to 2,600 young people and pastors, was a challenge to join with Jesus in making the same declaration in our own lives. Satan had set the tone in his rebellion in Heaven by insisting on his own will over Yehovah’s will five times, as revealed in Isaiah’s prophecy:

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart:

‘I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.’

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. Isaiah 14:12-15

Three times Jesus asked the Father for another way, but each time concluded with His passionate confession in eight words that reversed history: “Not MY will, but THY will be done!”

Jesus was tempted to not go through with the Plan, but did not yield to that temptation, even resisting the temptation to the point of blood. The stress resulted in the bursting of capillaries in His skin releasing blood through His sweat glands.

As we remember the birth of Jesus this year, take note that God became flesh and dwelt among us. He was clothed with our human flesh and weakness, but overcame it!

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

Kenya Final Update

It is great to be home again after wonderful ministry in Kenya to 2,600 young people at the 18th annual PDA Conference in Kimilili, Kenya near the Uganda border in western Kenya. PDA stand for Purpose-Destiny-Achievement. (Click here for videos.)

I spoke ten times, six at the conference and four in local churches. Future leaders of Kenya and missionaries to the nations were called from the youth there from high school, college and young professional. Many pastors also attended. Although most were committed believers, there were over 100 born again and filled with the Holy Spirit.

My goal of providing seed for the sowers, regarding God’s restoration of Israel and our call to stand with Israel as a blessing to the nations, was exceeded. Doreen and I were particularly blessed to connect and impart our Israel vision to three specific leaders from Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Uganda, who vowed to take the Israel “seed” to their respective nations. Several Kenyan pastors were inspired to visit Israel as soon as possible.

Psalm 102 (which I call the “Holocaust Psalm”), was the core of much of my teaching. Verse 13 was key as the point Yehovah turned the page for Israel from judgement to favor after 1,878 years from 70 AD to 1948. I pointed out that Israel never won a war during that severe period of judgement and scattering among the nations. But since 1948 they have not lost a war because God turned the page to restoration, blessing, regathering, rebuilding, and favor.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
For the time to favor her,
Yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:19-21

Will Israel Reoccupy Gaza?

Israel Ready to Reoccupy Gaza, Warns Minister The latest round of fighting in Gaza might be over, for now, but Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan warned that Israel is prepared to recapture and reoccupy the coastal enclave in order to root out Hamas and its terrorist allies should the situation escalate again. About 15 years ago my friend, John Fisk, and I compiled a teaching about Gaza which is being fulfilled year by year since then. We saw pertinent Scripture promises that applied then, and even more so now. The fifth stage may be imminent. Here are the five stages and the text from Zephaniah that applies to the last stage when Judah returns to Gaza. It seems to be taken right out of today’s (and tomorrow’s) headlines.

The Five Stages of Gaza’s Judgment

A Wall is Built around Gaza.
Judah (Israel) withdraws.
Chaos overtakes Gaza.
Gaza is destroyed by fire.
Judah (Israel) returns to Gaza.

The seacoast shall be pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks there; in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For Yehovah their God will intervene for them, and return their captives. Zephaniah 2:6-7

The final stage of Gaza is that it belongs to Israel. Through the centuries the Philistine strongholds on the coast are conquered, with only Gaza now still in the hands of Palestinians. The word of Yehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; so there shall be no inhabitant.” Zephaniah 2:4-5

This verse identifies Gazans, as “Cherethites” or literally: ASSASSINS! It would seem to be a simple step to understanding this reference as an ancient way of describing the suicide/homicide bombers of today, Hamas in Gaza, Why is there anarchy under Hamas?

There will be no king or authority in Gaza! Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; and Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited. Zechariah 9:5

This has all been fulfilled including anarchy in Gaza. The only thing remaining is for Israel to return and establish order in Gaza. Stay tuned!

Reports: Israel Slated for Early Elections as Netanyahu Coalition Breaks Up – Netanyahu had met the education minister, Naftali Bennett, who wanted the defence ministry post in the right-wing government, but the meeting ended with a decision by cabinet members to hold national polls, which were previously due in November 2019.
Trump Admin Moves Toward Recognizing Israeli Sovereignty Over Golan Heights – For the first time ever, the United States on Friday intended to vote against an annual UN resolution condemning Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights. Ever since Israel seized control of the strategic plateau on the 1967 Six Day War, the US has abstained when the resolution titled “The Occupied Syrian Golan” was brought to a vote. We rejoice that the US finally took a stand for the Golan in the UN. Pray that we will openly declare our acceptance of Israel’s 1980’s annexation of the Golan Heights. The Golan has been at peace since the 1967 Six Day War. However, every peace agreement leads to violence and war, whereas Israel’s wars end in peace. Remember this when Israel finally decides to re-enter Gaza and establish peace through Israeli control.

On the looming election in the Spring, pray that Yehovah God of Israel will strengthen Netanyahu to hear and do God’s will.

My help comes from Yehovah, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Yehovah himself watches over you! Yehovah stands beside you as your protective shade. Psalm 121:2-5

Miraculous Mercy in Israel

Minutes after Israeli troops got off their bus, it was hit by an anti-tank missile from Gaza. It was truly the mercy of Yehovah God that only one soldier was injured. At one point, 200 missiles were fired in only two hours, more than one a minute. 60 were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense.

Rockets from Gaza pass 300 in five and-half hours The successive salvos of rockets from the Gaza Strip in five and a half hours on Monday climbed past 300 at 10 p.m. The second direct hit in Ashkelon caused extensive damage in a residential district. One person was injured. In the first, the damage to a four-story residential building was heavy, but all the residents made it to shelters in time to escape harm.

HIS-Story

j0309700 The only accurate way to look at the history of the world, is to see it as God’s story. The written records of history from fossils to the Bible all tell one single narrative. It’s HIS-story. In fact, the best way to view the Bible, is as God’s recording of history, much of it even before it happens in our time/space continuum.

My friend, Rick Heeren, inspired me to write this blog from an important view of the Torah that we both share. The Torah (aka the Old Testament) was not cancelled when Yeshua/Jesus came as the Messiah. He was the Promised One to Abraham and all generations. His appearance brought to pass much of what was promised to the Fathers and the Prophets.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:16-18

Notice the phrase “jot or tittle.” Jesus knew exactly what he said, because He was referring literally to the tiniest letter (yod) and the tiniest marks in the writing of Hebrew letters. What an amazing confirmation by Jesus, that every word God spoke will come to pass to the most exact detail! Listen to Joshua, a forerunner of Yeshua/Jesus:

“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yehovah your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.” Joshua 23:14

Therefore know that Yehovah your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; Deuteronomy 7:9

Yet, the narrative did not end there. Even today much remains to be fulfilled, that was sworn by Yehovah God, to Abraham thousands of years ago. My favorite example is Psalm 102, which I call The Holocaust Psalm. The first eleven verses are a graphic literal description of the Holocaust. Then, verse 13 clearly states:

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come. Psalm 102:13

This also is readily seen in history. From 70 AD (the destruction of the 2nd Temple by the Romans) until 1948, the Jews never won a war. Since the rebirth of Israel immediately after the Holocaust, according to HIS-story, the Jews have never lost a war. Only Yehovah, the faithful God, could accomplish such a continuing miracle up to today. If one tries to predict the future, he only need consult the Bible as a continuing literal historical narrative. SELAH

Heaven’s Election Results

The returns are in. Everyone who names the name of Yehovah will be saved. Here is a bit of Bible encouragement for you on this election day.

“For the eyes of Yehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 1 Chronicles 16:9

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for Yehovah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” 1 Chronicles 28:9

But Yehovah said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For Yehovah does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yehovah looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:2

Our God is the God of mercy. How ironic that the head doctor at the hospital that cared for the anti-Semitic terrorist murderer in the synagogue is Jewish and the first three nurses and staff members healing him were also Jewish. Even in the darkest night the light will shine. One of the nurses is the daughter of a Rabbi. Praise the Lord for His love and mercy.

PITTSBURGH — Jewish doctors and nurses at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh put their personal feelings aside to help save the life of the man who allegedly claimed he wanted to “kill all the Jews” as he opened fire at a synagogue and murdered 11 worshipers.

“He was taken to my hospital and he’s shouting, ‘I want to kill all the Jews’,” Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, president of Allegheny General Hospital and a member of the Tree of Life Synagogue, told ABC. “The first three people who took care of him were Jewish.”

Another nurse, whose father is a rabbi, “came in from a mass casualty drill and took care of this gentleman.” Fox News

Yehovah God is able to make something good out of the most evil events. This was the most anti-Semitic attack in US history. According to the Jerusalem Post, anti-Semitic incidents increase by 60% in America in 2017. The 2016 breakdown of hate crimes showed that approximately 54% were anti-Jewish, 24% were anti-Islamic.

The Bible reveals evil, and clearly does not say all things are good. But it does say God can make evil things work out for His good purposes.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Pray for the families and survivors that they will find comfort in the God of Israel. Also, please continue to pray for rain in Israel and peace for Jerusalem.
