What If the F-word is Worse Than You Think?

23 10 2025

The F-word has exploded in our culture including even used by some Christians. Even President Trump recently used that word publicly, which inspired this article. What if using that word is giving your voice to demons? Some say the word itself, but others use acronyms such as: WTF “what the f”, M-F “mother-f”, and the newest usage, Fafo “F around and find out”. Don’t be deceived. There is a demonic evil spirt at play no matter how you voice it or write it. What if giving voice to that word is a demonic form of speaking in tongues? Could the devil be saying something in the spiritual dimension more than you mean to say? Using your voice and authority? What we confess with our mouth has supernatural power. Which power are you speaking?

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10:10

“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”  1 Timothy 6:11-12

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”  Hebrews 10:24

I believe the Holy Spirit gave me this word, and I told my brother Ken about it. He said he heard the same word a week ago. Neither of us have heard that from anyone else. I take it seriously.

Also, I heard a word about gossip. What if “conspiracy theories” fell under the category of gossip? The internet is rife with unending theories about every event which get lots of “clicks.” Candace Owens comes to mind. The apostle Paul listed wicked sins in Romans 1 and you may be shocked that gossip is included with the worst sins like hate and murder.

“Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.”  Romans 1:29

Please prayerfully consider the words that come out of our own mouth. Are we confessing Jesus and His life and His salvation? Or, our we giving voice and text to a completely different spirit. Repent and change. Stop using it. And pray that our leaders will likewise be convicted and repent.

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Yehovah, my strength and my Redeemer.”  Psalm 19:14

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that our leaders will hear from God, have courage, and do the right thing.

They Shall Proclaim the Praises of Yehovah

9 10 2025

We all rejoice in the peace agreement for Gaza this week, but what follows? I maintain that there will be a time of extraordinary peace between the Psalm 83 war and the Ezekiel 38 war of Gog & Magog. What if I told you that millions of Arabs would find salvation in Jesus and gladly become pro-Israel and join the Abraham Accords?

Since 1948 Israel has been under attack from their Arab neighbors listed by country in Psalm 83. That comes to an end with the surrender of Hamas. Yet Israelis will certainly take awhile to tear down the walls and accept complete belief in the relief offered by genuine peace. This is not the anti-Christ peace, but a period described in Ezekiel 38, who used seven different phrases stipulating the conditions of real peace being enjoyed by Israel before the Gog invasion (which, again, lists the names of the countries involved).

It is during this period that Arabs/Palestinians will turn to Jesus. Isaiah 19 ends with an amazing relationship between Egypt, Israel, and Syria which specifically includes Egyptians worshipping Yehovah.

“In that day there will be an altar to Yehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yehovah at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to Yehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yehovah because of the oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then Yehovah will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yehovah in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to Yehovah and perform it.”  Isaiah 19:19-21

But what about Saudi Arabia, you may ask? I believe they will also find our Messiah’s salvation. It is already clear to most that they will very soon be joining the Abraham Accords. But there is evidence in Isaiah’s prophecy that they will also worship Yehovah God. Last week I quoted the Zechariah promise that there would be Palestinians “who remain” in Israel (after the Hamas Gaza defeat) who would worship the God of Israel. In addition, there is the evidence for Saudi Arabia. Note that each of the five geographically named areas are all in Saudi Arabia!

“Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of Yehovah. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, and I will glorify the house of My glory.”  Isaiah 60:5-7

This may be a stretch for you, but open your heart to the possibilities of our merciful Savior!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for the salvation of Jews and Arabs alike!

What Fruit Does God Want?

17 07 2025

Your first answer may be: “souls,” but not so fast. Yes, He wants people saved, but His purpose is to prepare a people for relationship with Him. Salvation is the means to entering that intimacy with the Father through the Son, Jesus. He is the vine and we are branches of Him! I often say that the Kingdom of God is relational and the systems of man are transactional. Getting saved and born again is not the end, it is the entrance. God is working on us to change our character from selfish sin to loving fellowship with the living God. He is holy and we must become holy. We are not, but He is changing us. Ultimately, the fruit He desires is not works for Him, but a radical change of character and conduct. Last Sunday Pastor John Thrift shared the importance of fruit.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”  John 15:5

As you continue reading in John 15 it is clear that His main emphasis is love. He mentions love seven times. He also promises joy. These are not works, they are character. It is not what, but who we become. I was personally very encouraged by Pastor John’s message. Those who know me now would not believe what I was like before a lifetime of walking with Jesus. I was totally selfish, often rude, crude, and arrogant. When I was young I used language that would “make a sailor blush.” My character has changed dramatically. I still fall short, but I have changed. I like this saying: “I’m not what I could be. I’m not what I should be. But, praise God, I’m not what I used to be.” So, the question is are you changing to become more and more like Jesus? Our works will end, but our character will remain in eternity.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.”  John 15:16

Jesus clearly taught that the fruit He wants from us was beyond preaching, prophesying, deliverance, and healing. People could do those works and still be lost. The fruit He is growing in us is found in Galatians.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”  Galatians 5:22-23

God loves us for who we are becoming! These are all character traits of those who have a relationship with God through Jesus by the Holy Spirit. I testify to you that I have improved in every fruit listed by the grace of God. Even self-control is not the product of our great will power, but the natural product of abiding in the vine which is Jesus. If you are lacking any of this fruit, get closer to Jesus. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Drink of the heavenly fountain of life. The deeds of the flesh mentioned earlier in Galatians 5 are not present in eternity. Live for eternity now! Allow Him to change you and teach you to walk in His love.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Will Israel Annex West Bank?

14 11 2024

Huckabee and Bibi

(Greetings from my ministry trip in Sandpoint, Idaho – speaking Friday 7pm at River of Life and Sunday 10am at New Life Church)

Judea and Samaria, also called West Bank, may soon be added to Israel sovreignty. The election of Donald Trump has completely upended the status quo in Israel. A new day is dawning. Look for Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords soon after January 20. Of course we know the Bible has clearly included Judea and Samaria in Israel since ancient times. They were part of the original allotment of the tribes of Israel under Joshua. (See Joshua Chapters 13-20.)

“These are the areas which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel distributed as an inheritance to them. Their inheritance was by lot, as Yehovah had commanded by the hand of Moses,”  Joshua 14:1-2

Already, strong statements have been made since the election of Trump, by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Mike Huckabee. Mike is Trump’s pick as our new U.S. Ambassador to Israel. These are exciting days indeed!

Huckabee: Annexing Judea and Samaria ‘of course’ a possibilityFormer Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee, who boasts an impressive record of Israel support, called his appointment as an “extraordinary opportunity.” “Mike Huckabee, whom US President-elect Donald Trump nominated on Tuesday to ambassador to the Jewish state, told Israel’s Army Radio in his first interview since the announcement that “of course” the annexation of Judea and Samaria is a possibility under a second Trump White House.”

Netanyahu: ‘Annexation when Trump returns’The Prime Minister said recently in closed talks that after Trump’s entry into the White House, the issue of sovereignty over the Judea and Samaria areas should be revisited. His remarks join those of the remarks of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who said yesterday that “2025 will, God willing, be the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. Smotrich also said that “the only way to remove this threat from the agenda is to apply Israeli sovereignty to the settlements in Judea and Samaria. This is our answer to Sinwar, may his name and memory be erased, and to all the Nazis along the axis from Iran, Hezbollah, Yemen to what remains of Hamas terrorists in Gaza and the terrorists in Judea and Samaria,” said Smotrich.”

We have so much to thank God for and we still have much to pray for in the next two months of transition. This is a historic opportunity for a new beginning of genuine peace in the Middle East. Thank you Jesus!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, victory over her enemies, and abundant rains in the land!

Last Days: Good or Bad?

12 09 2024

Final-Judgement-3798329813

Yes, both! As we approach the Second Coming of our Messiah Jesus, many wonder if life will get better or worse. The answer is yes. The future for the wicked is bleak and hopeless. However, it is different for those who have made peace through the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. We too will go through tough times, but He will be with us and give us supernatural peace.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

Some translations say “peace that passes understanding.” I call it peace that doesn’t make sense. We had a house fire back in 2001 and stood watching 40 foot flames from the roof. Yet, Doreen looked at me and said: “I’m sure glad I wore my comfortable shoes.” My comment was: “l sure didn’t see that coming.” We had real supernatural peace. We certainly could not have faked in that circumstance. No, we actually experienced peace from God above. It was tangible. We needed Him and He was there with us. Habakkuk described the same reaction in the worst of times:

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in Yehovah! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Yehovah is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.”  Habakkuk 3:17-19 NLT

Elections in the U.S, war in Israel and Europe, economic collapse, WWIII? or maybe a season of peace and prosperity? As the song says: We don’t know what the future holds, but we know Who hold the future.” Do not lose hope. Stand in faith! God is faithful!

“For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.”  Romans 3:3-4

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for seasonal rains in Israel this Fall.

Acceleration in Israel Prophecy

25 09 2020

Drybones cartoon,UAE, Abraham Peace Accords,Israel, Bahrain, Peace,Middle East,

Normalization with Israel is the “in” thing in the Middle East these days. What does it mean for prophecy? In a word… ACCELERATION! After our blessed ministry in Idaho the last two weeks it seems the prophecy news is coming faster than we can keep up. While we were gone, Israel normalized relations with UAE and Bahrain, were recognized by Serbia and Kosovo (who will open embassies in Jerusalem), Honduras announced it will put its embassy in Jerusalem before the end of the year and President Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize… twice (Mideast and Kosovo/Serbia). Don’t forget that Prime Minister Netanyahu was also nominated. Wow!

Gog and Magog? Do not look for Ezekiel 38 anytime soon. Israel must be living in such secure peace that they tear down all walls they have built as separation from the Arabs in recent years. Thus, the season of peace before the Gog and Magog war.

“After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. — You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ Ezekiel 38:8 & 11

Notice the bolded words above which unequivocally describe conditions that simply do not exist today in Israel. Therefore, the next prophetic event is not war with Iran, but an extraordinary (and surprising) peace.

I spoke all over Idaho (drove 2,220 miles) about my view that this is the end of the Psalm 83 War and the start of a time of peace that must be clearly in place before the Ezekiel 38 Gog & Magog War. I admitted I had been wrong expecting a final big battle to end the Psalm 83 scenario. Now we see an acceleration of other Arab and Muslim nations as well as other nations. It is interesting that this is all happening under the cloud (or distraction) of the pandemic. When the dust settles, the Middle East will be transformed. Notice that the Psalm 83 nations are not mentioned in Ezekiel 38. Israel’s borders and influence continue to expand to the promised extent of Yehovah’s purpose.

On the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates. Genesis 15:18

Pray for the Messiah’s Peace of Jerusalem! Also, pray for rain as we approach the rainy season.

God Will Make a Way!

4 04 2020

https://youtu.be/q4MJoTOGz5w

“God will make a way where there seems to be no way!” Doreen and I remember one of our best family vacations was in the mid-eighties. We had a brand new car and took a wonderful road trip from Florida to New England with our three girls. It was  notable for two things (in no particular order). My Mom sent along her famous peanut butter fudge, which we sampled each time we crossed a state line (love New England). The other was that every morning we started the day with our favorite song, God Will Make a Way. Watching Pastor Randy & Peggy Morris share that song this morning released tears of worship and thankfulness for God’s faithfulness. Every book I have written has that foundation. God is faithful. Yehovah is faithful.

We learned a new song with the same message while ministering in Kenya. Carol Achieng led the worship and Michael Masambu led the PDA Youth Conference (Purpose, Destiny, Achievement). Here are the lyrics:

“Who has the final say? Yehovah has the final say. Who has the final say? Yehovah has the final say. He turned my life around. He turned my life around. He makes a way where there seems no way. Yehovah has the final say!”

Doreen and I watched as our rental house burned down with all our possessions in 2001. The miraculous presence  of the Holy Spirit ministered supernatural peace at that time. That gave rise to my paraphrase: “peace that doesn’t make sense.” Logically we had every right to “freak out” and fall apart. But no, God was faithful. He was right there with us through it. It was real. We still have that peace and never did fall apart, even though some thought we would after the shock wore off. But, rather we have experienced over and over and over that He is faithful. Hallelujah!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.2 Timothy 2:13

Stay In Your Lane

7 05 2019

L & D Gulf Coast 2019 cropped 2

We rarely talk about ourselves, but today it is time to explain our calling. Doreen and I have a “niche” ministry. By that, I mean we have a unique calling to a singular lane of ministry. I see my assignment as a “voice of Christian Zionists.” My hope is that my blog and my YouTube videos will supply you with seed about God’s faithful promises made and promises kept in the restoration of Israel today. You may not have time to spend 40+ hours a week keeping up with prophetic developments, but that is my calling, to sum it up for you. We are also on Facebook and Twitter.

Does that diminish other callings? Of Course not! No one person does everything, we each have special giftings for our specific task. The Holy Spirit in us can allow us to rise to the occasion for any need, but we still have a normal focus on our lane.

When Doreen and I ministered in Kenya recently, our message was still Israel. God gave us a word that we were to take “seed for the sowers.” That was quite specific. The result was that several pastors (from at least five nations) along with more than two thousand young future leaders of Kenya “caught it.” They caught the revelation of blessing Israel and standing with Yehovah God’s purpose of Israel’s restoration in these last days.

Here is a statement of our vision. (More details are available anytime, by clicking the ABOUT tab on the Menu bar at the top of this blog.)

Les and Doreen Lawrence have a specific ministry to connect Jewish and Christian believers. We see a prophetic timing in God’s last generation which brings Jews and Christians together as “One New Man” in Jesus (Yeshua). This prophetic merger explains many of the geo-political events of this day, especially in contrast to the rise of radical Islam.

Our task is to help others see this and understand what believers ought to do, thus participating in the fulfillment of His plan.

Our method is by following the example of Elisha who could “see” the spiritual dimension when others could not. We endeavor to open eyes to the fact that “more are they that are with us than they that are with them.” This is primarily working with leaders to provide “seed to the sowers” regarding our critical union with Israel in God’s final purpose of restoration.

Our support for Israel is first and foremost for the eternal purpose of God for His people and His Land through many unconditional promises. Our support begins by standing with the believers in the Land. Many Israelis have come to believe in Jesus as the Messiah. We choose to stand foursquare beside them in these difficult days. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, knowing that the only true peace is in Yeshua ben Yehovah. We pray for the government, knowing that many of its leaders do not know God, but we believe that God is the one who removes and sets up kings. Jesus died for all men, and we therefore pray for the salvation of all the neighbors of Israel as well, while still recognizing God’s unique prophetic relationship to Israel.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:14-16

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 2 Corinthians 8:10-11

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain.

One Day: No More Wars!

8 03 2018

Enjoy this wonder song recorded in Haifa, Israel. 3,000 Israeli Jews, Christians and Muslims singing in harmony. It sounds very Messianic to me. May the Messiah come soon! Enjoy.

Here are the lyrics to “One Day” by Israeli singer, Matisyahu

Sometimes I lay under the moon and thank God I’m breathing then I pray don’t take me soon ’cause I am here for a reason.

Sometimes in my tears I drown but I never let it get me down. So when negativity surrounds I know some day it’ll all turn around because…

All my life I’ve been waiting for
I’ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There will be no more wars
And our children will play
One day [6x]

It’s not about win or lose ’cause we all lose when they feed on the souls of the innocent blood-drenched pavement keep on moving though the waters stay raging.

In this maze you can lose your way (your way)
It might drive you crazy but don’t let it faze you, no way (no way)

One day this all will change treat people the same stop with the violence down with the hate.

One day we’ll all be free and proud to be under the same sun singing songs of freedom like: One day [4x]

Sometimes in my tears I drown (I drown) But I never let it get me down (get me down)
So when negativity surrounds (surrounds) I know some day it’ll all turn around because..

All my life I’ve been waiting for
I’ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There will be no more wars
And our children will play
One day [6x] Matisyahu Lyrics (Singing Is Believing!)

And he will judge among the nations, and will rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plow-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2:4

Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem through Messiah Yeshua, and pray for rain.
