Last Jew Out of Gaza

Is there a parallel with Gilad Shalit released from Gaza and the Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah? Some will instantly think I’m crazy, but hear me out. In the Genesis story, God would not destroy Sodom because of one righteous family. His wrath on the wickedness of the city only fell after He had rescued Lot’s family.

The angels said to Lot: “For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of Yehovah, and Yehovah has sent us to destroy it.” Then Yehovah rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from Yehovah out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. Genesis 19:13 & 24-25

So today we celebrate Gilad’s freedom after five years of captivity in Gaza. Hamas brags about their great “victory” and declares the freed prisoners will rejoin the figh t. One Israeli is swapped for 1,000 prisoners. What great value Israel places on one life!

But where is God in all of this? Amos, the same prophet who said God would do nothing in the earth without revealing it to His prophetic servants, had this profound word about Gaza:

Thus says Yehovah: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, which shall devour its palaces.” Amos 1:6-7

The act of taking captive one Israeli could be the last straw for God’s wrath to be fulfilled on Gaza. Now that Gilad is free there are no Jews left in Gaza. Think about it. If Israel values life at a thousand to one, how much more does the Father of creation value “the apple of His eye?” To those who say God is not like that anymore, simply read Malachi 3:6 For I am Yehovah, I do not change; and also consider: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

20,000 Missing Missiles

20,000 Heat-Seeking Missiles Reportedly Feared Missing From Libyan Warehouse (Fox News) While you were sleeping, a waking nightmare began. “Matching up a terrorist with a shoulder-fired missile, that’s our worst nightmare,” Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., told ABCNews.com. One of the inevitable effects of deposing Gaddafi in Libya was the loosing of multiple thousands of weapons from his arsenal. These weapons are now finding their way into terrorist hands throughout the Middle East. This even includes Hamas in Gaza as reported by DEBKAfile: Egypt uncovers Libyan SA-24 anti-air missiles and sea mines bound for Gaza.

The missiles, (link to ABC Nightline video), four to six-feet long and Russian-made, can weigh just 55 pounds with launcher. They lock on to the heat generated by the engines of aircraft, can be fired from a vehicle or from a combatant’s shoulder, and are accurate and deadly at a range of more than two miles.

Meanwhile, back in the Arab Spring, an ominous warning was just issued by the Military leader of the rebels in Tripoli, Libya. Libya’s Islamist groups “will not allow” secular politicians to exclude or marginalise them in the intensifying battle for power in the post-Gaddafi era, the country’s most powerful Islamist leader has said. Abdel Hakim Belhaj, head of the Tripoli Military Council and founder of a jihadi group that was later disbanded, appears to be firing a shot across the bows of liberal, western-backed rivals after negotiations over broadening the rebel administration foundered. Libyan Islamists must have share in power, warns leader.

Naturally, with this ominous development, you would expect the Obama Administration to be all over it. But what is the big warning coming out of the State Department this week? Israel is building 1,100 new homes in their Capital and the US calls it: “counterproductive” and “deeply disappointing.” Yes, that is much more disturbing than 20,000 shoulder fired missiles on the loose. Those “impudent” Israeli’s are trying to build more homes in Jerusalem! Why won’t they do what the Obama Administration demands? Pray courage for Prime Minister Netanyahu to withstand the pressure.

Therefore, shall we trust God or shall we fear? It is our choice. The Bible is full of wonderful promises of His protection. We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all of God’s people who love the truth. We know that the truth is a person, Yeshua ben Yehovah; Jesus, Son of God. Here is one of my favorite promise passages.

Yehovah is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? Yehovah is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. The one thing I ask of Yehovah—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of Yehovah all the days of my life, delighting in Yehovah’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Psalm 27:1-5 NLT

All Nations Gather

Today is the opening of the United Nations session in New York. All the nations of the earth gather to verbally attack Israel, creating a state that will be free of Jews. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas insists that the UN unilaterally declare the Palestinian state ignoring Israel and all previous agreements. Israel has appeased and conceded for years based on the Oslo accords of 1993 which are now being totally ignored by the Abbas application for statehood. Prominently featured by the Abbas campaign is a mother of seven terrorists convicted of murdering Israelis. So much for the peace process.

Additionally, the Durban III Conference on Racism is also convening in New York with a similar anti-Israel goal. President Obama indicated he will veto the Abbas effort, but on 9-11 his speech bemoaned countries suffering terrorism without including Israel in his list. believers need to pray that all deception will be exposed before the whole world. Pray for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he speaks to the General Assembly.

I have predicted an inevitable outbreak of violence against Israel, in earlier columns, as a direct consequence of these UN meetings. Either way the votes go, violence will potentially escalate to the Psalm 83 War.

Yet, while the nations gather to oppose Israel, Yehovah God is right on schedule with His purpose to restore Israel in mercy and favor. There will be another gathering of nations to Jerusalem for final judgment according to Joel 3:1-2: “At the time of those events,” says Yehovah, “when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for harming my people, my special possession, for scattering my people among the nations, and for dividing up my land.

When the dust settles and the Messiah Jesus comes there will be a permanent gathering of nations spoken of by Jeremiah over 2,500 years ago.

At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of Yehovah, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of Yehovah, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts. Jeremiah 3:17

Syrian Snipers and Turks in Cairo

The New Middle East

The winds of radical change are blowing over the cradle of civilization. Almost daily some new event adds to the reshaping of old loyalties. Egypt has fallen from the Western sphere and is quickly descending into ancient barbaric blood lust. Twice in as many weeks, radicals have attacked the Israeli Embassy in Cairo. Today, the Prime Minister of Turkey is in Cairo extending his influence, attempting to re-establish a world-wide Islamic Caliphate. This, only days after announcing that Turkish warships will guard the next Flotilla to Gaza. He is seeking to intimidate Israel and Cyprus who lay claim to massive new natural gas deposits offshore in the Mediterranean.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a meeting of Arab League foreign ministers in Cairo on Tuesday that the recognition of a Palestinian state was “not an option but an obligation.”

Meanwhile, also today, Syrian snipers killed five mourners at a funeral near Hama. The five were shot dead by security police snipers from the rooftop of a public school and a municipal water tank in the town of Kfar Nubouzeh, when hundreds of mourners began chanting slogans demanding the downfall of President Bashar Assad. Such is the perverse concept of “security” in the Islamic dictatorship. This utter disregard for the sanctity of life is endemic in Islam. It is a well know boast in Islam that they will defeat Israel (the little satan) and America ( the great satan) because “you love life, the Muslim loves death.”

In 2007, two years before he killed thirteen people and wounded twenty-nine at Fort Hood, Texas, Nidal Malik Hasan prepared a slide show for his fellow Army doctors on the subject of Islam. One of his last points read: “We love death more than you love life!”

There are also plans to attack the Israeli Embassy in Jordan according to Fox News. Many times I have warned that the Psalm 83 War is close. Each new event makes it that much more inevitable. There are even those calling for a million man march in Aman. Ezekiel warned of an “eternal hatred” against Israel. God has declared that it will lead to a bloodbath for Edom (Jordan hanging by a thread). It has begun. It will culminate with a terrible defeat for the nations immediately around, and a great victory for Israel by the hand of Yehovah God.

Your eternal hatred for the people of Israel led you to butcher them when they were helpless, when I had already punished them for all their sins. As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Yehovah, since you show no distaste for blood, I will give you a bloodbath of your own. Your turn has come! Ezekiel 35:5-6 NLT

So what does this mean for us? Should we be fearful? God forbid! It is time for us to snatch people from the burning and bring them to the One Who is Salvation, Yeshua (Jesus means salvation). It is time for us to wake up, stand up and speak up! Our Lord said he would not leave us or forsake us. We may suffer, but He will be with us in the process. Jesus spoke of these things in Luke 21 with the admonition:

But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:28 NASB

The Israel Reflex

Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you. — Even if Balak were to give me his palace filled with silver and gold, I would be powerless to do anything against the will of Yehovah. I told you that I could say only what Yehovah says! Numbers 24:9 & 13 NLT

Neutrality disappears in most discussions about Israel. The lines are being drawn throughout the world regarding Israel’s existence. Polarization is the norm. I boldly proclaim my Christian Zionism. God gave the title-deed to Israel, end of story. The Bible is quite clear. Those who reject the accuracy and authority of Scripture have recused themselves from truth. Truth is not an opinion, it is the person of Jesus the Messiah. Balaam, in the above quote, conceded the point.

The Israel Reflex manifests at the mere mention of Israel, Jerusalem or Zionism. People either love or hate Israel. We might call it the Israel Reflux Disease. (Read the first paragraph in this link). There is an old illustration of two barrels filled to the brim, one with honey, the other acid. If you kick the honey barrel, honey overflows, while kicking the acid only spills acid. Application: You find out what you are filled with when you are kicked. The earthshaking prophetic events now occurring reveal the lovers of God and the haters. There will be no middle ground. Know God, know truth. No god, no truth.

This week I pondered the interview of Chuck Pierce by Sid Roth on Sid’s TV show, It’s Supernatural. Each made a point worth sharing. Chuck observed that President Obama’s anti-Israel declaration on May 19 would come back on the United States in a specific judgement. God “would start looking at America based upon how America would align with Israel.” The Obama Administration demanded that Israel go back to the pre-1967 borders. Chuck explained that the US demand will bounce back on us: “It will cause racism to rise up – back to 1967.” Imagine the trouble coming to our land as the growing racial tension breaks out into violence and rebellion. This is a time to pray for our nation and beseech God’s blessing and purpose for Israel.

Later in the show, Sid Roth shared an interpretation of Matthew 25:40 that was new to me. And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’Forty years of my preaching yielded only two views of this verse. The broad meaning was caring for all mankind as brothers. The narrower application was to care for all believers in particular. Now I see a third and more literal reading of this verse. Sid explained that in Matthew, the 25th chapter, there’s a separation between goats and sheep. There are goat nations and sheep nations. A goat nation has a mind of its own. A sheep nation follows the shepherd. And in Matthew 25:40, we know the one sin that causes a nation to be a goat nation or a sheep nation. The one sin is, “As you have done unto the least of these, my brethren,” and in the Greek, the word “brethren” means “those from the womb”. “As you have done unto the least of these, my physical brethren from the womb, it will be done unto you.” After studying the downloaded transcript, I checked in the Greek and indeed the word brethren does indeed refer to Israel, the physical seed from which Jesus came. Combining this revelation with the lesson of Balaam, gives us both Old and New Testament confirmation of today’s great test for every nation. How do you treat Israel? That is exactly how God will treat you! Amen. Selah.

Mobs, Riots and Revolution

Topic 1: Mob Violence as a Method

This Dry Bones cartoon touches a nerve in a growing trend not only in England, but around the world. We pray it not come to America, but early signs suggest it will come here, too. There is a logical progression in my title today. Mobs without restraint become riots which can lead to full-scale revolution.

Mob rule is nothing more than anarchy. There is vivid historic example in the bloody French Revolution characterized by mob violence and riots as the means of social change. The American revolution, on the other hand, was a unified resistance to tyranny conducted in an orderly and principled manner. The new republic which emerged set the gold standard for true freedom in its Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution.

The best treatment of this subject is in Ann Coulter’s newest book, Demonic. Whatever you may think of her, the case is made with excellence. What makes this her best book….her incisive demonstration that the revolution was the mother of the many totalitarian “revolutions” it spawned in the name of the people, her dissection of the mob mentality that drove it, and her case against today’s American liberals as exemplars of this mob mentality.

She writes that “all the bloody totalitarian dictatorships of the twentieth century have drawn inspiration from Rousseau and the French Revolution.” All the “great liberal ‘reformers’ of the twentieth century, from Lenin to Hugo Chavez,” got their “playbook from :Robespierre” — probably the worst and most radical of the French revolutionaries — “who argued, following Rousseau, that a ‘Republic of Virtue’ could only be achieved by ‘virtue combined with terror.'”

Democrats, says Coulter, “are heirs to the French Revolution, the uprising of a mob,” whereas “conservatives are heirs to the American Revolution and the harmonious order of a republic.” David Limbaugh, Newsmax

Topic 2: Fifteen Days of Doom for Syria

President Obama and the leader of Turkey have set Syrian President Bashar Assad a deadline of Aug. 27 for “extinguishing the popular uprising against his rule and starting to implement genuine democratic reforms.” Are you kidding me? Assad can continue murdering his own people for two more weeks (now over 2,000 but likely double or triple that amount). It may be the most outrageous foreign policy decision yet for the Obama Administration.

It would be like hundreds of terrorists capturing a Chicago mall with several thousand hostages. With the National Guard and SWAT teams in place surrounding the mall, the terrorists start killing one hostage every hour. Then the Guard and SWAT Commanders, along with the FBI, announce that the terrorists will have 15 days to finish their murderous reign of terror before any action taken against them. Fifteen days to “extinguish” the uprising in Syria translated means: We will do nothing to stop you for 15 days!

The very next day, Assad increased his attacks! Encouraged by the 15-day leeway granted him by the US President Barak Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Bashar Assad Monday, Aug. 15, sent his tanks backed by mechanized infantry into Homs, a town of 1.5 million inhabitants.

“The word of Yehovah came to me a second time saying, ‘What do you see?’ and I said, ‘I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north.’ Then Yehovah said to me, ‘Out of the north the evil will break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.’” Jeremiah 1:13, 14

We must pray for mercy and peace in this day of anarchy and revolution. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for the victory coming in the imminent Psalm 83 War. Pray in the name of Yeshua ben Yehovah, Jesus Son of God.

How Obama Lost 2012

Thirty of our best warriors shot down in flames! How should we react? We grieved the loss, but why did it happen? Was it just a lucky shot by the Taliban? Was it God’s fault? Is it ridiculous to consider God in this tragedy? Does the Bible ever apply in real life situations today?

Much has been written about the excessive personal credit taken by President Obama reporting Osama bin Laden’s death. (Compare with President Bush on the capture of Saddam Hussein). We know it was Navy Seals Team 6 that got Osama. How quickly the same team makes headlines again, this time in the spectacular loss of 22 of their own.

There is an eerily appropriate comparison in the Bible when Joshua led Israel into the Promised Land. Jericho fell without a shot, through the fear of Yehovah, as He gave supernatural victory. However one Israelite, named Achan, kept some of the spoil that God had banned. Achan coveted the gold and silver and hid it in his tent. You discover in the reading of Joshua 7 that Israel lost 36 men in their next battle against a weaker city, Ai.

Joshua’s response was to fall on his face before God inquiring what happened and God answered: Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. Joshua 7:11

I see this parallel with our loss of 30 troops, including 22 from Seal Team 6. We should repent and ask God what happened. Setting aside the literal idea of a Seal stealing something from Osama’s compound, I see a major sin of personal pride in the way our President took too much personal credit. One could make the case that he stole the glory that should have been given in thanks to Yehovah God. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18. Let the Holy Spirit bear witness. This is more than politics. It is also not about one speech, but a pattern of arrogance laced throughout the Obama presidency. It is about our nation’s future and the nature of leadership. Jesus was clear about His attitude: The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

If President Obama is not re-elected, he will have no one to blame but himself.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7.

Let all who follow Jesus have the same attitude Jesus had.

Beware the Leaven

Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” Mark 8:15

Two types of leaven are referenced by Jesus in this verse: leaven of Pharisees and leaven of Herod. We know the implication. Leaven is a yeast that spreads throughout the dough so it will rise when baked. But of what is Jesus warning us?

For years I have made the case that Communism failed to dominate the world because of one critical strategic mistake. Based on atheistic humanism, it had no spiritual component. Yes it was demonic in its character and goals, but it was not inherently spiritual at its core.

On the other hand, Islam is spiritual at its core. But Jesus said to watch out for two kinds of leaven. The leaven of the Pharisees is a “religious spirit.” They go about trying to establish their own righteousness, according to the apostle Paul. It also infects modern Christians, who try to earn salvation rather than receiving it as a totally free gift of God. There is a seduction to the idea that you must do something to qualify for it. This is the religious spirit. (Jesus further defines it as the traditions or doctrines of men and as hypocrisy. See quotes at the end of this commentary).

The leaven of Herod speaks of the other kind of leaven. It is a “political spirit.” Herod was the archetypical political animal. He double crossed, connived and deceived. He played both side against the middle. Jesus called him “that fox”. Herod reminds us of today’s politics in Washington, DC.

The debt ceiling crisis we have all just witnessed, was pure politics (an interesting oxymoron). Yet, there is a greater threat rapidly rising in this nation and the world. It is militant Islam. One main reason Islam is so powerful is that it combines the two leavens. Islam is both a religious spirit and a political spirit. Communism had only the political, but Islam has both. The lust for world conquest is not only in the core of sinful man, it is fueled and energized by the passionate religion of death. The true believers are actually convinced that salvation comes by blowing up infidels, Christians and Jews and yourself in the process. These are Muslims who are faithful to the Koran and other writings, who follow WWMD: What would Mohammed do?

How opposite is the motive from Jesus and Christians who follow WWJD: What would Jesus do? Jihadists die to save themselves. Jesus died so that we could live! Pray that Muslims all over the world will discover this great salvation offered through Jesus the true Messiah and Son of God, Yehovah. His Hebrew name is Yeshua ben Yehovah. He came because God loves the whole world. Yet, it is not automatic, one must receive Jesus as Who He is.

Pray for Muslims to be set free from that evil religious spirit of earning salvation. Also pray that they be released from the political spirit of pride and greed and arrogance driving them to conquer the earth in the name of their false god.

Pray for the Church to see the folly of religious hypocrisy and repent for political methods.

Beware the leaven of the Pharisees and of Herod!

In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Luke 12:1

Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matthew 16:12

Seeing Today’s World with Elisha’s Eyes

There is a major transition underway in the Church. For several decades the emphasis has been on the Elijah anointing of struggle against false gods, and the restoration of Fatherhood. Today, however, we have moved into an era of seeing more clearly in the Holy Spirit dimension, just as Elisha’s servant saw God’s answer in the chariots of fire surrounding the Syrian army. Generation LIGHT, Book Two in the GENERATION Series, examines the transition from Elijah to Elisha with our focus on seeing what God sees. Book Three – Generation LIFE completes the story with the power of resurrection life.

Book One was Generation LAST, on why I am convinced we are now in the last generation of history as we know it. The conclusion was a revelation of Isaiah 60 and the glory of Yehovah given to His people at one of the darkest hours of world history. Glory is expressed some 15 times in the first five verses of Isaiah 60 as arise, shine, glory seen, and even the word light.

Perhaps the most important key word is radiant, found in verse 5. We do not simply reflect God’s glory, we radiate His glory: Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart will swell with joy; (Isaiah 60:5a).

Jesus is the light of the world. Generation LIGHT reveals His glorious light expressed in supernatural power enabling us to swim against the rising tide of the enemy of our souls. The result is not only survival, but also an overcoming authority: to heal, to save, and to set captives free. This is the day of resurrection power as exemplified in Elisha, then Jesus, and finally in the last generation, through Israel and the Church.

While this book accentuates “seeing” as the prerequisite LIGHT, the GENERATION Series concludes with the third book about that resurrection power, Generation LIFE. Look for it soon.

I am praying that we see what God sees and radiate His glory and His joy! This is the only way to function effectively in today’s dysfunctional world.

This is an amazing generation to be alive. We are seeing hundreds of prophecies spoken over two thousand years ago popping up in precise fulfillment before our eyes. This is the generation of light, but this is way beyond the “age of enlightenment.” This is a time of Divine revelation which I pray you see through Elisha eyes. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is arising with a purpose. Jesus, who was the author of our faith, is also the finisher. This is a day of fullness. Much that the prophets have spoken will be completed in our day.

And that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began (Acts 3:20-21).

What a glorious fact. We are so favored to live in this day. In this book we will discover the purpose of His glorious light. My prayer for you is that you will explore this purpose and that you may see as Elisha and his servant saw.

Israel has risen out of the dust heap of history to become a vibrant nation. It is historically obvious. This is also the day of the rise of the Church, even while many who call themselves Christians fall away from the faith in the great apostasy. Yet, this day is destined to reveal the final glory of the true Church.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11).

Middle East Apartheid?

1. (in South Africa) A policy or system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race. 2. Segregation in other contexts.

Why do people move as animal herds? An idea catches on and everybody blindly jumps on the bandwagon, unthinkingly. I remember the hippie days of the sixties when it was cool to drop out and be different. But then they all looked alike. There was an unwritten dress code and hair length. You could spot a hippie in any crowd. They were different all alike.

Apartheid is like that. Coined in South Africa, it is now applied in crazy ways. Israel is the only true and free democracy in the Middle East, yet it is accused of apartheid. Free speech, freedom of assembly, voting and diversity are all present. Even the Arabs in Israel have it better than Arabs in any Arab country. The mob mentality of anti-Israel folks is ridiculous. This is clearly revealed in a series of posters from an Israeli satirical, yet factual, site called Elder of Ziyon.

Welcome South Sudan

While you were not looking, a brand new Christian nation was born on July 9, 2011. Most of its 8 million citizen are Christians as is their first head of state, President Salva Kiir.

Sudan’s civil war left 2 million dead in the last 25 years. Now the North Sudan leader demands Sharia law for its Muslim people. While this will present a new threat for Israel, South Sudan stands to become a new partner for Israel. No doubt the establishment of another Christian country in Northeastern Africa holds important strategic significance for the State of Israel, militarily, politically, and security-wise. Israeli decision-makers will be looking southward to try to determine whether there will be a potential ally in Southern Sudan that might strengthen its regional standing. The war is over but the South has most of the oil that sustained Sudan, and the North has the pipeline that carries the oil to market. We must pray for God’s favor on the Republic of South Sudan.

Tornadoes, Floods, Earthquakes and Volcanoes

And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. Rev 9:2-3

In case you have not noticed, there has been continuous catastrophe crippling our nation since the tornadoes ripped Raleigh, NC on April 16. I see a direct correlation to the downward spiral of our Administration’s collapsing relationship toward Israel. Ironically, for the first time in several years, the Lord gave me a word for this year on 1-1-11. You can read the summary on the column of that date here, including a link to the full audio message that I preached on January 7.

One thing He showed me was judgement increasing on our nation. There was a strong exhortation to respect one another and the priesthood of all believers, throughout the body of Christ. He warned me so clearly that I spoke of events in America, North Carolina and even “coming to a neighborhood near you.” Little did I know how real that would manifest on April 16. A tornado went right over my daughter’s house, but spared her home and family. Just a few blocks away several children died. Others of our close friends had major property damage but no injury.

The link to Israel is obvious, but not the only cause. Over 53 MILLION babies have now been aborted in the United States since 1973. Moral decadence exploded in the same period. Many more examples abound. So, what is our hope? Can we trust government? Can we trust media? Can we trust institutional religion? No, we really cannot. We can only call on the name of the living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Yehovah is His name and He sent His only begotten Son, Yeshua ben Yehovah to die for us (and rise from the dead) as the full penalty for our sins and for our sin nature. Through the blood of Jesus, we are holy. We are righteous. We are clean. We are forgiven! Hallelujah!

This means we are entering the season of the greatest ingathering for salvation in history. I had hoped that it would occur in a time of prosperity. Now I see that it comes because of judgements, through which God will show His mercy, and many will turn and live.

I have heard all about you, Yehovah. I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy. Habakkuk 3:2 NLT

Let us pray for mercy and the favor of the Almighty Creator God. He is our refuge and strength through His Holy Spirit and the Son of His love. We must now rise up and warn others to turn to the living God and live!

Israel on US Terror List?

U.S. Designates Israel as Country That Tends ‘To Promote, Produce, or Protect’ Terrorists; Also Calls Israel Anti-Terror Partner CNS NEWS

This headline is another move by the US Administration, specifically Homeland Security, that aligns us with the nations who are rising up to demonize Israel. Now every Israeli who visits America will be subject to the same scrutiny as an Iranian or Yemenite or Somali. Dick Morris described it this way: Israel? Yes Israel is one of the thirty-six SDCs that “promote, produce, or protect” terrorists, according to the Obama Administration. With splendid equality, they manage to list the world’s biggest victim alongside the globe’s leading perpetrators of terrorism.

The Jerusalem Post also weighs in with this comment: WASHINGTON — Israel is on a list compiled by US immigration authorities of countries that might harbor terrorists, it was reported this week.

Also this week the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, reported that the US Senate unanimously passed a resolution sponsored by 87 of the 100 Senators threatening to suspend aid to the Palestinians if they persist in their plan to unilaterally declare statehood in September.

What does all this mean? It moves us closer to God’s judgments on our nation. Genesis 12:3 is quite clear: I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Also, Joel 3:2 is quite profound: I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.

Pray for mercy in Jesus’ name on our beloved United States of America this Fourth of July.

Why We Need Toucans

I was reading a really horribly twisted article on the Jerusalem Post this morning which I suggest you read, to understand people who try to solve Israel’s problems without Yehovah God. It includes mockery of Glen Beck and his Jerusalem rally in August. The writer also manages to attack Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann and Mike Huckabee along with other American and Israeli conservatives. He even manages to skewer several godly pastors both living and dead.

There is a mantra of the godless left that says “right-wing” Christians and Jews hate Muslims. This is a lie. Jesus died for Muslims, and God calls them to repentance as He does for all people. God loves people and desires that they choose life in Him. Therefore, we love Muslim people as God does. However, the ideology and religious doctrine of Islam is paganism. It denies that God is a Father and that Jesus is His Son Who died on the cross to save whosoever will come to Him.

So, why do we need toucans? After reading the article, I stared at my computer background which today is the toucan. I just started worshiping the glorious beauty and diversity of our Creator. Could the world get by without that one specie of tropical bird? Probably yes. Yet, God in His infinite wisdom may have just decided one day: “Wouldn’t it be cool to have at least one of my birds with an enormous yellow and orange beak with stark black and white feathers?” Well, if that is what God was thinking, I agree. Even the flight of the toucan is cool. Because of the disproportionate weight of his prize beak, a toucan has to work hard to gain altitude and then falls as he glides, pumps up to heights again, only to fall again as he glides.

Somehow I think life is a bit like a toucan with our own ups and downs, but God is with us! We have a place in His purpose that is uniquely ours. Don’t ever tire of pumping up your altitude in the Holy Spirit, the glide is worth it.

Dave Wilkerson, a Jeremiah

Killed last night in a car crash, David Wilkerson was a prophet like Jeremiah to a generation … and to me. I offer you his last words in his last blog of April 27, 2011 just hours before he died. I have also included the link to a seven minute video that sums up the message of his life. He once said he believed in the “you can’t lose trib…if you love Jesus, you can’t lose.” David Wilkerson won!

WHEN ALL MEANS FAIL

To believe when all means fail is exceedingly pleasing to God and is most acceptable. Jesus said to Thomas, “You have believed because you have seen, but blessed are those that do believe and have not seen” (John 20:29).

Blessed are those who believe when there is no evidence of an answer to prayer—who trust beyond hope when all means have failed.

Someone has come to the place of hopelessness—the end of hope—the end of all means. A loved one is facing death and doctors give no hope. Death seems inevitable. Hope is gone. The miracle prayed for is not happening.

That is when Satan’s hordes come to attack your mind with fear, anger, overwhelming questions: “Where is your God now? You prayed until you had no tears left. You fasted. You stood on promises. You trusted.”

Blasphemous thoughts will be injected into your mind: “Prayer failed. Faith failed. Don’t quit on God—just do not trust him anymore. It doesn’t pay!”

Even questioning God’s existence will be injected into your mind. These have been the devices of Satan for centuries. Some of the godliest men and women who ever lived were under such demonic attacks.

To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights—and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, “I am with you. I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense. You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident. It was no failure on your part. Hold fast. Let me embrace you in your hour of pain.”

Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail—his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world.

Short Memory

Then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph or what he had done. (Exodus 1:8 NLT). (More photos)

The problem of short memory affects geo-politics. Joseph had risen to number two in Egypt because of the favor and promotion of God. Not only was provision made for his Hebrew family, but all of Egypt prospered under his God-given wisdom and revelation. But a new king came to power who did not know Joseph or what he had done for the country. How could he not know? …short memory!

A few weeks ago an Israeli family in the town of Itamar was brutally murdered in their beds. The news covered it briefly and then went on to other news. Even though their were tens of thousands of people at the funeral, the liberal Israeli paper Haaretz, did not even mention the funeral on the front page. How many reports anywhere mentioned that less than a decade before another mother and three children were also murdered by Palestinian terrorists in Itamar ? …short memory.

Here is another example: How many intifada’s have occurred? The Palestinians are now threatening a “third intifada”. Yet, the collective memory of the world is so short. After the Balfour Declaration of 1917 provided a homeland for the Jews, there were two intifadas. One was in the 20’s and another in the 30’s. That means we are now up to number five if there is a new one. …short memory.

Did President Obama Know Joseph?

It is likely if not certain that the new leadership in Egypt will be worse than Murbarak. Dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood, the new leaders in Egypt are destined to break the treaty with Israel and forget all the benefits of that peace. That is one issue. However, there is another application closer to home.

President Obama may fit the definition of “a king who knew not Joseph” as the leader of America. His background is far more Muslim than anyone admits. Both his father and step father were Muslims and he was taught in a Muslim school in his most formative years in Indonesia. His youth in Hawaii was a much more “multi-cultural” experience (see note below) than most Americans. Add to that his early and later associations with Marxists and Black Liberation Theology. So what is my point? How can we expect President Obama to carry the treasured heritage in his memory that most Americans carry? He does not know it for himself. Then, throw in the questions about his birth certificate and his locked up college records. What President have we ever had with such secrecy? …short memory.

Note on multiculturalism: I am using this term not in the sense of peaceful race relations, but as a seductive way for pagan gods to gain entrance to God’s people. Heaven is not multicultural, it is a Kingdom undivided totally loving and worshiping the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through His only begotten Son, Jesus: Yeshua ben Yehovah.

God’s Viewpoint on Multiculturalism

The idols of Babylon, Bel and Nebo, are being hauled away on ox carts. But look! The beasts are staggering under the weight! Both the idols and the ones carrying them are bowed down. The gods cannot protect the people, and the people cannot protect the gods. They go off into captivity together. “Listen to me, all you who are left in Israel. I created you and have cared for you since before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. “To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal? Some people pour out their silver and gold and hire a craftsman to make a god from it. Then they bow down and worship it! They carry it around on their shoulders, and when they set it down, it stays there. It cannot even move! And when someone prays to it, there is no answer. It has no power to get anyone out of trouble. “Do not forget this, you guilty ones. And do not forget the things I have done throughout history. For I am God I alone! I am God, and there is no one else like me. Only I can tell you what is going to happen even before it happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. I will call a swift bird of prey from the east a leader from a distant land who will come and do my bidding. I have said I would do it, and I will. Listen to me, you stubborn, evil people! For I am ready to set things right, not in the distant future, but right now! I am ready to save Jerusalem and give my glory to Israel. (Isaiah 46 NLT).

Final Preparations

Our Motor Home is Home!

Doreen and I are rejoicing that the Lord has provided our motor home through many friends. Hallelujah! We plan to minister in Florida during Feb-March, New England in May-June, and the West in Aug-Sept. Please pray for us and help us schedule as many meetings as possible.

By the way, for those of you who are waiting to hear what name we have chosen for it (as is our custom), the name is Gracie. The wonderful grace of Jesus has paved the way!

Tragedy in Tucson

On January 1, I posted something I heard from the Lord. It was a warning to believers to respect one another and to “Watch Your Mouth” this year. Let us apply that word to what happened in Arizona.

The senseless murders and wounding of 20 citizens was done by an unbeliever. He was indeed demonic, in the evil spirit of the enemy of our souls, who in Jesus’ words came only “to steal, and to kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

Having three daughters and two granddaughters, my heart broke to hear of the murder of the nine year old girl. Yet, later her mother stated that she was sure the little girl was in heaven with her grandmother whom she lost only last year. What can possibly comfort and console a normal person who loses her mother and daughter in such a short space of time? It is only Jesus, the one Who is our resurrection and life.

Believers see the tragic events of life and death in context. We love and serve the God Yehovah, the One Who created life and will raise the dead to life eternal. It is His unchangeable immutable character, revealed through His Son Jesus, that is our Rock, our faith. He is the Father Who gave up His Son to the most horrible death that we might live. Brothers and sisters, let us keep our perspective in these troubled times.

Remember the nature of our God revealed in this great verse from Ezekiel: For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Therefore turn and live! (Ezekiel 18:32).

Forgiveness…a guest post

(Ken Lawrence is my brother and is my pastor. He and his wife, Mavis, presently serve River of Life Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. His thoughts on forgiveness offered here were recently published in his local newspaper. His word is a great followup to my last post: Warning To All Believers)

New Year’s resolutions, diet, and exercise plans are what many folks are thinking about as we move into a new year. Perhaps January would be a good time to purpose in our hearts that we will follow the example of the Lord Jesus Christ, who made it His practice to forgive those who wronged Him. Early in His ministry He taught His followers to turn the other cheek when they were being mistreated, and even on the cross, forgiveness was part of His declaration. It has become more apparent to me recently that many of the hurting people that I know are hurting not only because of what has been done to them, but because of their inability to forgive those who have hurt them. So often our unforgiveness hurts us more than it hurts the other person. Unforgiveness becomes like a cancer that can eat you alive.

In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus taught us that we would be forgiven in the same way that we forgive others. It is my conviction that you can find a new freedom in your life if you will forgive those who have hurt and wronged you. I do understand that some people treat us wickedly at times, and I am not suggesting that you always must stay in a place where you can continually be hurt. For many years I have shared that another person’s problem is not our primary problem, but rather our problem is our reaction to their problem. In the days ahead, please try to make it a way of life to forgive people around you who have wronged you and you will usually experience a peace and often you will see a difference in the life of the one you have forgiven. Have a great new year and be blessed in Jesus Christ’s name.

Topic #1 Word for 2011—Watch Your Mouth

This is a sharp warning for the new year. Brothers and sisters beware of disrespect for one another. We are a kingdom of priests who function only by the anointing and authority of God in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. There is a sober lesson from Moses’ time. It has been used for years as a defense of leaders and even to support the error of exalting some leaders over the body. “Touch not Mine anointed” has been corrupted by many to defend one man. This is wrong. If we truly believe in the priesthood of all believers, then we must apply this warning both ways. Leaders should also beware of touching God’s anointed throughout the flock. Topic #2 Obama and Syria—A Travesty

Syria holds the record for the longest run on the US “state sponsors of terrorism” list. They were on the very first list initiated in 1979 and have held their spot ever since. There are currently four countries on the list. Syria refuses to allow the IAEA (the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency) access to its nuclear program. Syria has transferred major weapons including Scud missiles to Hezbollah in Lebanon. When the UN Tribunal issues its report In just two weeks, Syria will probably be implicated in the assassination (5 years ago) of Lebanon’s then Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. What’s wrong with this picture?

This week President Obama made a recess appointment of an Ambassador to Syria (Robert Ford). This is a major foreign policy blunder. First, it bypasses Congress with no confirmation process. Second, we had no Syrian ambassador precisely because we pulled the last one out 5 years ago due to the assassination. All Presidents make partisan recess appointments, but this one enacts new foreign policy in direct defiance of Congress. It is beyond naïve, it is dictatorial, dangerous and destructive to our national interest. Pray the new Congress sworn in next week will rise up and block this reckless path.

Christmas once again dominates the conversation. The convergence of agendas creates extra pressure. Congress is down to the wire again this year passing tax relief and cramming another 20,000 hidden earmarks in the omnibus CR (Continuing Resolution) just to fund the government. Atheists are attacking belief in God on billboards. Merchants are clamoring and almost begging as they vie for our dollars. Shoppers are frenzied with last minute pressure to avoid offending by their gifts or lack thereof. Whew!

And oh, by the way, the Creator of the Universe was born into our humanity for the express purpose of bringing fallen man back into loving relationship with our heavenly Father. Jesus is buried under the avalanche of commercialism, government chaos, and personal gratification. Yet, miraculously, the name of Jesus is heard everywhere. Once a year Jesus’ name is in the news (even though scholars believe His actual birth was probably in late September). The Messiah is news even at Macy’s. Topic #2 Fire Rain and SNOW!

During Israel’s worst fire, we prayed for rain to end the drought. Last week brought enough rain to replace the deficit of the previous two months. Last weekend four feet of snow fell in the Golan foothills and twelve feet on Mt. Hermon. Thanks to God for His mercy. Pray Israel will recognize and turn to Him.

Topic # 3 Motor Home Project Update

We are very close to the 5K level and then 3K more to reach our first goal of 8K to take possession. (The remainder of the total 12K price would be at 500 a month for 8 months interest free.) Miracle Rain

Due to the most severe forest fire in Israel’s modern history, many believers all over the world have been praying for rain. Sunday night as they were finally beginning to gain control of the fire, a wonderful heavy rain fell on northern Israel. Thank you very much, Jesus Son of God, or in Hebrew: Todah rabah, Yeshua ben Yahweh! Ask Yahweh for rain In the time of the latter rain. The rain came last night to Mt. Carmel exactly at the time we were praying for rain in our Issachar Forum Prophetic Think Tank in Wake Forest, NC. We had been talking about Elijah and the prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel from 1 Kings 18:21 and Elijah’s famous challenge: If Yahweh is God, follow Him: but if Baal, follow him.

In Elijah’s day it was the end of a three year drought. We pray that this fire and the rain that followed will end the current seven year Israeli drought.

Big news around the globe this week is all the fallout from classified documents posted on the internet. Just about everybody comes out looking pretty bad except Israel. According to a report in Israel Today Magazine: “If anything, the leaks were positive and did not damage Israel’s image at all,” former National Security Adviser Giora Eiland told Voice of Israel radio. “There was no contradiction between what Israel has said in public and in private.” What a testament to integrity. Other countries say one thing in public and something else in private.

But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yes be yes, and your no, no; so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy. James 5:12

Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem. Come Lord Jesus, come.

Topic # 2 Yahweh Explained

The personal name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is used 6,828 times in the Hebrew scriptures. However, in the English translations it is mistranslated as LORD (all caps) most of the time. There are many prophesies declaring that His name will be known in the last days. In Generation LAST, my newest book, I devote three chapters on the restoration of His holy name. English spellings vary between Jehovah, Yehovah and Yahweh. With the rise of the pagan god of Islam, more of the world knows that name than the God of Israel. Hi all,

Where do I begin?? With Yahweh… He opened a wonderful door for John, Les and Dale to preach a revival over in Benson at the Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Glen and Sandy and their congregation have opened their doors and their hearts to not only us, but the Holy Spirit. We have been included as family and feel like family, a kinship that only happens immediately when we are ‘echad’ (one) in Jesus. It has been such a blessing to us.

They bless us by sharing that we are a blessing to them too. Pastor Glen commented that this is a revival no one will forget. I imagine that is true as the subjects each of the brother’s chose to speak on were cutting edge information on what Yahweh is doing and saying right now. Talk about a ‘now’ word.

For us, it has been an immense opportunity to be doing kingdom work and seeing the fruit of it each night. The number of people each night have been many, which indicates they are a congregation of hungry souls for more truth. Les complemented Pastor Glenn, and rightfully so, that he is doing a great job leading and teaching his congregation for them to be so wonderfully open to the truths that John, Les and Dale have been presenting each night. They decided to offer q and a time at the end of their presentations and it made us joyful to see how many would stay after the service was dismissed for the q and a time. Some great and thought provoking questions were asked of the three brothers and seeing I am the one writing and sending this e-mail I want to tell you they did the kingdom of God proud. They are well studied, carry the scriptures on their tongues, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them.

I want to bless you SPC and tell you that we are soooo blessed and privileged to have these three passionate men for Yahweh in our midst each Friday night to teach us. They need our prayers more than ever as the persecution for Truth grows each day.

We miss all of you who cannot be with us in Benson but we know your prayers are with us. Tomorrow evening is the final evening which everyone is looking forward to with expectation. Les will teach on the Rise of the Glory of Yahweh and we will pray to impart that Glory at the end of the service.

As I reread this e-mail I feel I so inadequately was able to put into words just how great this week has been, but I did my best. Hope you get some idea from this e-mail.

Feast of Tabernacles

Topic # 1 Yahweh’s Feast for the Nations

The final feast of Yahweh in Leviticus 23 is later specifically commanded for all nations in Zechariah 14:16: And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

This prophecy is fulfilled following the supernatural defeat of all the nations who come against Israel in the last days. The nations who are left are even warned (in verse 19) that they will experience drought if they fail to come up every year to the feast.

Thousands of Christians are gathering in Jerusalem this month for the glorious celebration of this great harvest feast. Yet most of Christendom is oblivious, that it points us to the Second Coming of the Messiah Yeshua when the eternal Creator God will “tabernacle” or make His dwelling with us! And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. Revelation 21:3. The greatest fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles is yet to come!

Topic #2 Holiness To the LORD!

Two amazing revelations are found in the end of Zechariah 14. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah is considered holy to God. People will use them for sacrifice and for cooking.

First, I see the priesthood of all believers. All bring their own offerings before Yahweh.

Secondly, there are no clean and unclean vessels. All are clean before the Lord! It is similar to my concept of Sabbaths, where I believe every day becomes a Sabbath rest with Jesus our Savior, Shepherd, King, Husband and Friend.

In that day HOLINESS TO YAHWEH shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in Yahweh’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to Yahweh of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of Yahweh of hosts. Zechariah 14:20-21

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Topic # 1 Is The Sky Falling?

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6

There is a tendency for prophecy buffs to want to put all of the last days prophecies into the same short time frame. However, this warning of Jesus informs us that even with wars multiplying the end is not quite at hand. There are multiple events between now and then.

We have predicted the Psalm 83 War to occur this summer, which still seems very possible. Yet, Israel’s closest neighbors are listed in that Psalm, while a completely different group is listed in Ezekiel 38-39. We conclude that these are two separate and distinct wars yet to come. It is sort of like an inner and outer beltline of a city. It looks to me like the first group has ceased to exist and the outer group steps up in Ezekiel. There is another very interesting observation. The inner country group is Arab Muslims, but the outer group is non-Arab Muslims.

Either way, Jesus says don’t be troubled, because the wars must happen before the end. So, fasten your seat belt as we approach these prophetic crossroads.

Topic #2 Deadline This Week for Israel’s Iran Attack

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton predicted on Fox News Friday that Israel would have to attack Iran by August 21 because Russia’s is about to fire up Iran’s first nuclear reactor. Once the fuel rods are loaded, “it makes it essentially immune from attack by Israel. Because once the rods are in the reactor an attack on the reactor risks spreading radiation in the air, and perhaps into the water of the Persian Gulf.” (Newsmax)

Also looming is the deadline for the peace talks which are doomed to fail on Palestinian preconditions threatening Israel’s very existence and must therefore always be rejected.

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:3-6

Can You See Forever?

What is your worldview? Secular humanist? Biblical? How about Prophetic?

Where do you live? Is eternity in view in your daily life? To borrow a phrase, “I can see eternity from my house.” I have a prophetic worldview, which is to see eternity in current events.

“Only one life ‘twill soon be past,

Only what’s done for Christ will last!”

Pastor Earl Waterman, a beloved mentor, said to me over 40 years ago, “If you can possibly take the Bible literally, do so.” I do! The Bible is a window into the actual future world.

I reached a milestone of 65 years old this year. Key mentors to me were my Dad, Weldon Lawrence, and also Derek Prince, Earl Waterman, and Arthur Burt, who all lived to the ages of 90-100. Brother Arthur is still ministering at 98. So, on that scale, I am looking at one third of my life ahead.

However, my literal prophetic view suggests that Jesus will come back sooner than that timetable. That is why I wrote Generation LAST, which is Biblical evidence for the imminent end of this age, and the glorious appearing of Yeshua ben Yahweh, Jesus, Son of God!

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” James 4:13-15

What does this mean for our daily lives? Facing the sober reality of human mortality is totally changed for the believer. Look how dismal this existence must be for a secularist. No hope. No future. No purpose. They see fear, death, disease, poverty, injustice and hopelessness. Believers have a future and a hope. We have a transcendent eternal purpose! God has work for us to do for Him. “I must be about my Father’s business.” My view has changed. This really is the last generation. There is much to accomplish, much to proclaim. There are many to warn of “the wrath to come”. It is serious, but it is also exciting. What a day to be alive! What a day to serve our God!

“This is the day the LORD has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

WWJD OR WWMD?

Topic # 1 Quite The Contrast

The Christian classic In His Steps by Charles Sheldon asked “What would Jesus do?” The age of the acronym reduced it to WWJD. What if you used the same concept with Mohammed? How do the two founders of their faiths compare in their conduct? The founder of Islam is known for multiple wives, child brides, bloody warfare, lying and stealing. None of these charges can be attributed to Jesus. My friend John Fisk makes the salient point that if you follow the religious ideology of Islam you can be just like its founder. In fact, the better Muslim you are, the more you would be like him. I prefer to follow the example of Jesus.

It is also interesting that the acronym for “what would Mohammed do?” includes WMD, famously used for weapons of mass destruction. I believe this applies to Islam on several levels, most seriously the eternal judgment of those who deny the fatherhood of Yahweh and sonship of Yashua (Jesus).

Finally, the better question is not what would Jesus do? But what did He do? He did not live for His own will, but the will of the Father. He did nothing of His own initiative, as John’s Gospel declares, but He always asked the Father what to say and do. Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” John 5:19

Topic #2 IAF Landed At Saudi Base

The Israeli Air Force recently unloaded military equipment at a Saudi Arabian base, an Iranian news agency claimed last week, while a large American force has massed in Azerbaijan, which is on the northwest border of Iran. The report follows the Pentagon’s confirmation that a large American fleet sailed through the Suez Canal earlier this month, with an Israeli ship joining the armada. (IsraelNationalNews.com)

Friends Don’t Demand

Topic # 1 Obama Demands Israeli Concessions

Israel and America have been friends for 62 years and today we demand Israel fall in line with the Obama agenda. This is not right. Here’s his list before negotiations:

1. Israel scale back security checkpoints to the level during the intifada when suicide bombers freely entered.

2. Israel release 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.

3. Israel allow material into Gaza which will then be used for bombs.

4. Israel turn over entire cities to the Palestinian Authority.

5. Israel give a part of Jerusalem (Abu Dis) to the PA.

Here is the Obama list of demands for Palestinians:

1. Show up.

These demands on Israel are called “confidence building measures”, to convince Palestinians that Israel is serious about wanting peace. Would somebody explain why the total destruction of Israel as a state is still in the Palestinian Charter? For the record, it is also in the stated purpose of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, and other “neighbors”.

Spring New England #2

We have been so blessed to minister under an open heaven here. The principality that has blocked God’s vision has been removed. We have had multiple Divine appointments. Today we had lunch and significant connection with Pastor Scott of Pinnacle Mountain Bridge Church in remote New Hampshire. Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting George and Linda West of Newbury who have just opened a beautiful Bed & Breakfast. Check it out if you are in the area.

The Ban On Baals

Topic # 1 Make No Mention of Other Gods

Most Christians are woefully ignorant of the Biblical prohibitions against saying the names of other gods. We are called to restore the name of Yahweh, God of Israel and the Bible. The rise of Islam and other pagan religions has most Americans confused. Our last two presidents say we all worship the same god. How wrong! What part of “You shall have no other gods before Me!” don’t we get?

Exodus 23:13 And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.

Joshua 23:7 and lest you go among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them, but you shall hold fast to Yahweh your God, as you have done to this day.

Psalm 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.

Hosea 2:17 For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more.

Contrast with Psalm 83:4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

Topic #2 Jordan Flipping

King Abdullah of Jordan has joined the Arab world’s saber-rattling against Israel and warned that the status of Jerusalem could explode into another war: Our relationship with Israel is at an all-bottom low. It hasn’t been as bad as it is today. Abdullah added Jordan’s relationship with Syria is probably the best it’s ever been. (INN) Ps. 83 here we come!

Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. Spring in New England

Resurrection season always speaks of new life. This year to be in New England has extra significance because Yahweh has spoken that the long prayed for revival is finally coming here. Last Fall, we heard that God had removed a principality from Martha’s Vineyard that would affect Massachusetts and all of New England. This was then seen in practice with the shocking election of Scott Brown as Senator. It is a new day, Heaven has opened over this land. Now is the time for believers to wake up, step up and manifest the purpose of God!

The ridiculous international incident concocted by President Obama over legal building permits in Jerusalem, is well documented. The result is a new Palestinian uprising or intifada that some are calling the Obama Intifada, assigning the blame on him as the instigator.

The descendants of Ishmael currently occupy at least 800 times more land than descendants of Isaac. The 21 states of the Arab League routinely announce plans of building expansion. In Saudi Arabia alone, 555,000 housing units were built over the past several years. Ruth R. Wisse.

This present Florida trip has been full of Divine appointments. In eight days, I have declared His voice in four congregations: Shepherd’s Heart Ministries, Gulf Coast Church, Beth Israel and Flowing River Church. No less than 12 personal appointments have been precious in the Father’s plan.
