ISRAEL E-CARD Volume 4 Issue 23 December 1, 2010
Topic #1 Israel Benefits From WikiLeaks
Big news around the globe this week is all the fallout from classified documents posted on the internet. Just about everybody comes out looking pretty bad except Israel. According to a report in Israel Today Magazine: “If anything, the leaks were positive and did not damage Israel’s image at all,” former National Security Adviser Giora Eiland told Voice of Israel radio. “There was no contradiction between what Israel has said in public and in private.” What a testament to integrity. Other countries say one thing in public and something else in private.
But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yes be yes, and your no, no; so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy. James 5:12
Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem. Come Lord Jesus, come.
Topic # 2 Yahweh Explained
The personal name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is used 6,828 times in the Hebrew scriptures. However, in the English translations it is mistranslated as LORD (all caps) most of the time. There are many prophesies declaring that His name will be known in the last days. In Generation LAST, my newest book, I devote three chapters on the restoration of His holy name. English spellings vary between Jehovah, Yehovah and Yahweh. With the rise of the pagan god of Islam, more of the world knows that name than the God of Israel. Yahweh will have no other gods before Him. His name will be known in all the earth. For more, get my book online Books & Donations tab above.
Topic # 3 December 1 Update on Motor Home
Many thanks to those of you who are helping us with our motor home project. We have now paid $4,000. When we pay another 4K we can take possession and pay the last 4K at 500 a month for 8 months, interest free. Thank you Jesus. John 8:44
God also said, “Tell them, Yahweh, the God of your ancestors–the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob–has sent me to you.’ This will be my name forever; it has always been my name, and it will be used throughout all generations. Exodus 3:15 NLT
Les, I want to thank you for “Generation last”. I have been serving God and studying the Bible from my youth, I am now 51. When I read Generation Last, many questions which I had been pondering for years were answered. Thank you for your insight. We can ponder but when we ask the true living God, He will answer. Thank you. Gayle
