Topic # 1   7 Days After, Still No US Condemnation

The 7 year old boy hung by the Taliban was accused of spying. Right. Did I mention his grandfather is a tribal elder who supports the Afghan government? But the story gets worse. While the entire world condemns Israel for defending itself from “violent peace activists” (oxymoron alert), silence meets the hanging of a child. Our state department has yet to speak out about it. The only leader outside Afghanistan to speak is the new PM of Britain, David Cameron: I think it says more about the Taliban than any book, than any article, than any speech could ever say. Good for him. But where is the outrage everywhere else? Our government is shifting from pro-Israel to pro-Muslim sentiment. This betrayal brings increasing judgment on our nation.

Israeli PM Netanyahu was profoundly correct when he said: If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.

Topic #2  Oil Rig Trouble?

In the past 7 days, serious events have befallen our country. It may be a stretch, but go with me on this. Look at Psalm 77:16-19. The depths trembled (oil disaster escalates). The clouds poured out water (deadly flash floods in Arkansas and Oklahoma). Your thunder was in the whirlwind (deadly tornadoes). Lightning lit up the world (lightning hit the oil platform, the day of the President’s defensive oval office speech). The earth trembled and shook (earthquakes in California). Topic #3 Death of a Christian Extremist

Tom Jones died recently. He was a good friend and fellow elder in my home church in Clearwater, FL. Joanne Lee, another church leader said it best: He was extreme in his faith and his faithfulness. May we all follow Tom’s lead.

Peace Activists?

Weapons of Peace?

Topic # 1   The Peace Oxymoron

The Gaza flotilla tragedy reeks of contradictions in every news report. Three critical facts were known before the ships sailed. 1. The “peace activists” proclaimed they would not resist when Israel would board their ships. 2. They had clear “war worship” in chants to “kill the Jews” and it is caught on video. 3. Israel announced multiple times that they would be happy to let the ships port at Ashdod a few miles up the coast and then truck the inspected supplies to Gaza.

However, the reality is that they were setting a trap for Israel. The whole world has dutifully condemned Israel, even in light of video clearly showing the “peaceful passengers” attacking the soldiers, beating them bloody before their leaders allowed them to defend themselves. It was not an “aid convoy”, it was a public relations trap, that worked. Much of the medicine and supplies were out of date and worthless. The world can no longer tell lies from truth. The Apostle Paul warned us of the strong delusion, that they should believe the lie in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12. The great time of lies is now.

Here is the statement of one Muslim woman before sailing. “Right now we face one of two happy endings: either Martyrdom or reaching Gaza.” (Al-Jazeera TV, May 29, 2010)

Topic #2  Perfect Peace Is Shalom-Shalom!

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 My good friend Doug Walton gave me a Hebrew lesson last week. He discovered something I never knew in 40 years of ministry. The Hebrew text for “perfect peace” is simply the word “shalom” twice. When we keep our mind focused on Yahweh, we have shalom shalom: completeness (in number), safety, soundness (in body), welfare, health, prosperity, peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment, peace, and friendship with man and with God, especially in covenant relationship.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

Justice Reversed

Topic # 1   Justice Is Turned Backwards

Which way goes justice? This is a word that is being twisted like a pretzel. How can such an important concept be so popular and yet so perverted. Isaiah 59 speaks of the last days when justice will be perverted 180 degrees. One glaring example is the world condemning Israel for issuing building permits in its capital city while ignoring the regular practice by the Palestinian Authority to name streets and stadiums after suicide bombers who murdered innocent children.

This is Yahweh’s response: He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his mighty power and justice He put on righteousness as his body armor and placed the helmet of salvation on his head. He clothed himself with the robes of vengeance and godly fury. He will repay his enemies for their evil deeds. His fury will fall on his foes in distant lands. Then at last they will respect and glorify the name of Yahweh throughout the world. For he will come like a flood tide driven by the breath of Yahweh. Isaiah 59:16-19.

The good news is revealed in Isaiah 60 when God puts His glory on His people. It is time to arise and shine!

Topic #2  I Am Not Making This Up

The United Nations has just voted Libya onto the UN Human Rights Council. The country with one of the worst human rights records is now policing the rest. This is “the fox guarding the chickens.” In a secret ballot, 155 countries voted for Libya, which was 58 more votes than needed. This is the UN council that has passed 40 censure resolutions since its founding. Of these, 33 were directed against Israel. This is why I am talking about perverted justice. Isaiah prophesied of these last days: Our courts oppose people who are righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth falls dead in the streets, and fairness has been outlawed.Truth falls dead in the streets, and fairness has been outlawed. Yes, truth is gone, and anyone who tries to live a godly life is soon attacked. Yahweh looked and was displeased to find that there was no justice. Isaiah 59:14-15

Friends Don’t Demand

Topic # 1   Obama Demands Israeli Concessions

Israel and America have been friends for 62 years and today we demand Israel fall in line with the Obama agenda. This is not right. Here’s his list before negotiations:

1. Israel scale back security checkpoints to the level during the intifada when suicide bombers freely entered.

2. Israel release 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.

3. Israel allow material into Gaza which will then be used for bombs.

4. Israel turn over entire cities to the Palestinian Authority.

5. Israel give a part of Jerusalem (Abu Dis) to the PA.

Here is the Obama list of demands for Palestinians:

These demands on Israel are called “confidence building measures”, to convince Palestinians that Israel is serious about wanting peace. Would somebody explain why the total destruction of Israel as a state is still in the Palestinian Charter? For the record, it is also in the stated purpose of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, and other “neighbors”.

Spring New England #2

We have been so blessed to minister under an open heaven here. The principality that has blocked God’s vision has been removed. We have had multiple Divine appointments. Today we had lunch and significant connection with Pastor Scott of Pinnacle Mountain Bridge Church in remote New Hampshire. Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting George and Linda West of Newbury who have just opened a beautiful Bed & Breakfast. Check it out if you are in the area.

We have now spoken 12+ times. We have much to share of Yahweh’s purpose. We will be heading home after this next weekend. Thank you for your prayers.

Topic # 1   Make No Mention of Other Gods

Most Christians are woefully ignorant of the Biblical  prohibitions against saying the names of other gods. We are called to restore the name of Yahweh, God of Israel and the Bible. The rise of Islam and other pagan religions has most Americans confused. Our last two presidents say we all worship the same god. How wrong! What part of “You shall have no other gods before Me!” don’t we get?

Exodus 23:13 And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.

Joshua 23:7 and lest you go among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them, but you shall hold fast to Yahweh your God, as you have done to this day.

Psalm 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.

Hosea 2:17 For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more.

Contrast with Psalm 83:4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

Topic #2  Jordan Flipping

King Abdullah of Jordan has joined the Arab world’s saber-rattling against Israel and warned that the status of Jerusalem could explode into another war: Our relationship with Israel is at an all-bottom low. It hasn’t been as bad as it is today. Abdullah added Jordan’s relationship with Syria is probably the best it’s ever been. (INN) Ps. 83 here we come!

Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.” Ezekiel 36:22-23

Spring in New England

Resurrection season always speaks of new life. This year to be in New England has extra significance because Yahweh has spoken that the long prayed for revival is finally coming here. Last Fall, we heard that God had removed a principality from Martha’s Vineyard that would affect Massachusetts and all of New England. This was then seen in practice with the shocking election of Scott Brown as Senator. It is a new day, Heaven has opened over this land. Now is the time for believers to wake up, step up and manifest the purpose of God!

The Obama Intifada

Topic # 1   Making Mountains Out of Molehills

The ridiculous international incident concocted by President Obama over legal building permits in Jerusalem, is well documented. The result is a new Palestinian uprising or intifada that some are calling the Obama Intifada, assigning the blame on him as the instigator.

The descendants of Ishmael currently occupy at least 800 times more land than descendants of Isaac. The 21 states of the Arab League routinely announce plans of building expansion. In Saudi Arabia alone, 555,000 housing units were built over the past several years. Ruth R. Wisse.

All nations ruled by Islam are, by definition, apartheid. All non-Muslims are segregated as second class citizens.  Freedom of religion and speech is outlawed by Sharia law. Israel represents the antithesis of apartheid. James M. Hutchens-both quotes from: The Jerusalem Connection.

Topic #2  $12 Billion to PA—Where Did It Go?

Dr. Ghania Malhis, chair of the Economic Policy Research Institute in Ramallah, addressed the UN’s Seminar on Assistance to the Palestinians last week. She estimated foreign countries had donated a total of $12 billion to the PA since 1995. That figure did not include billions of dollars in aid provided by international aid groups such as UNRWA.  Aid to the PA is increasing steadily.  It received an average of one billion dollars a year between 2001 and 2005, $1.5 billion in 2007, $1.8 billion in 2009, and an estimated $2 billion is anticipated in 2010.  And yet, Malhis said, after such enormous sums, the GDP is 13% lower than it was in 1999, and GDP per capita is down by 30%.  “The Palestinian Authority has failed to address allegations of misuse of funds, power and mismanagement as well as a lack of accountability and transparency,” (INN) The leech has two daughters.  ‘Give! Give War a Chance

Topic # 1   Make War Not Love

Reversing the Hippie credos of “Give Peace a Chance” and “Make Love Not War,” today’s Palestinian children are raised to hate and die as martyrs. Textbooks for every grade level have no map of Israel. Every map labels Israel as Palestine. Children practice war games led by adults with play guns. Children’s TV is full of hate for Israel, even killing off animal mascots. The narrative explains that it was the Jews who killed the little children’s hero. While Western children grow up playing shepherds and wise men in Sunday School, Palestinians learn war. They participate directly in stoning Israeli troops by the age of 8 and 9. Streets, traffic circles and soccer fields are named after suicide bombers. Please visit the Palestinian Media Watch site for trustworthy documentation of my statements.

Just this week a top Fatah official of the Palestinian Authority has called for Muslims to converge in Jerusalem to “protect” Al Aqsa Mosque. He claims Israel is about to tear it down and build the Temple. Organizers are bringing dozens of busloads with hundreds of Bedouin to protest. Incitement to riot is growing each week in Jerusalem. Pressure is building to an explosive point.

United States rhetoric last week only added to the tension. Our government on the highest levels demanded Israel bow over a trivial incident as if we were the slave owners and Israel was our slaves. The uproar was about a simple permit that was approved for new housing not starting for 18 months in Jerusalem. The media has it all wrong, saying the housing is in the West Bank or East Jerusalem, when, in fact, it is north Jerusalem proper. The area is Jerusalem in all future divisions of the city. Even the Palestinians agree to that.

Christian Zionist Predicts Psalm 83 War This Summer

The author of a new book, Generation Last, is predicting that the long prophesied Psalm 83 War between Israel and several of its neighboring countries will take place this summer.

Sandpoint, ID (PRWEB) March 1, 2010 — Les Lawrence, the author of a new book, Generation Last, says the seismic plates are shifting in the Middle East. “No peace plan,” he writes, “can touch the spiritual dimensions of the coming earthquake.”

In his blog, (www.elishavision.wordpress.com) Lawrence shows how several events currently taking place point to a likelihood of a small regional war occurring between Israel and its neighbors this summer.

Now in its tenth year on the Internet, DEBKAfile provides intelligence and security-related breaking news and analysis on world events.
The first report quotes Syria’s Foreign Minister, Walid Maullem, in Damascus as warning the Israelis against testing Syrian power, “since you know the war will move into your cities.”

The report alludes to possible preparations for attacks on Iran by both US and Israeli naval forces in the Persian Gulf.

The second DEBKAfile report quotes Israelis Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman saying Syria’s President Assad “must be told bluntly that in the next war, not only will Syria be beaten but he and his family will lose power.”

In an unrelated article dated February 11,2010, internationally acclaimed Reuters (www.reuters.com/article/idUSDAH12274820100211) reported Iran’s President Ahmadinejad warning Israel that if the Zionist state continues to make mistakes and initiates a military offensive, “it must be resisted with full force to put an end to it once and for all.”

Lawrence, in his book, writes that Psalm 83 clearly prophesies a war between Israel and all its adjacent countries with the one exception of Egypt. Currently, Egypt and Jordan both have peace treaties with Israel.

However Lawrence explained in a telephone interview that “Jordan’s relationship with Israel could quickly turn negative. If Jordan politics change and Jordan joins the Iranian/Syrian camp, we could see a war matching the Biblical descriptions in Psalm 83 this summer.”

He said that some 70% of Jordan is Palestinian. Such a majority could easily influence or overwhelm and depose the ruling Jordanian family of King Abdullah.

Lawrence observed, “The sabers of an impending war are clashing.” In his book, Lawrence shows how Psalm 83 could very well be a prophecy for these times, noting that the countries named in the Psalm are the same countries existing today under formerly different national names.

This is important to note, he added, because “Psalm 83 describes a smaller regional war with Israel that precedes the epic final battles of the Apocalypse.”

Trilateral Terror

Topic # 1   Trilateral Plotting In Damascus and Tehran

In the last few days there have been two secret meetings of the top leaders of Iran, Syria, Hezbollah (Lebanon) and Hamas (Gaza). The first was in Damascus Thursday and Saturday through today in Tehran. Serious planning is setting up a major conflict with Israel. Please link to Debka.com for the latest intelligence.

Ahmadinejad called for a Middle East without Zionists and also predicted Israel’s “demise and annihilation”. To fill out the roster of Psalm 83 nations who attack Israel without Egypt, we now see Jordan’s King Abdullah making stronger and more belligerent condemnations of Israel.

We pray with Asaph: Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, whose name alone is YAHWEH, Are the Most High over all the earth. Psalm 83:17-18.

Topic #2  Yahweh Answers Prayers For Rain

“A weekend of heavy rain across Israel brought the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s main fresh water reservoir, up above its “red line” for the first time in over a year. Together with the rest of the winter rainfall, and the expected runoff from the snow accumulated on Mt. Hermon, the Sea of Galilee is now safely above the red line,” (Israel Today 3-3-10).

We give thanks to God for His response to the call for prayer, fasting and repentance by the Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Jerusalem in January. We will not be as the man who prayed for a parking space at a busy mall, who upon spotting a space said: “Never mind Lord I found one.” The great news is that much of Israel has exceeded its annual rainfall just since the middle of January. Praise Yahweh and Yeshua! Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go and enjoy a good meal! For I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!” 1 Kings 18:41

Hebron Clashes on Hallowed Ground

When Did the West Bank Stop Being “Disputed Territory”?

Protests and escalating violence mark the Muslim response to Israeli PM Netanyahu nominating, for national heritage honors, two sites in ancient Judah (now called the West Bank by the world).

The national heritage sites registry designation is only a formality. Hebron has always been on “the list” of Jewish hallowed ground as the tomb of the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the very founders of Judaism.

Since the United Nations voted to allow the Israeli State to be established in 1948, the Arabs have disputed Israel’s right to exist. The UN designated ALL of the land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean as Israel.

After several major wars between the parties, the land remains in dispute. In spite of all the peace talks, nothing has actually been legally decided. Yet, most world governments and media consider it a fait accompli that a Palestinian state will be carved out of this UN authorized Israeli land area. They behave as if the dispute is over, but Israel and Christian Zionists beg to differ.

Myopic historians neglect to remind us that the 1948 borders were the result of the first two state solution. The original British Mandate of 1917 was to give Israel three times the land area they eventually received. The Kingdom of Jordan was created to award the Arabs 78% of the original Mandate. This was intended to placate the Arabs who had conducted two intifadas before World War II.

Now, emboldened by the rise of Islam, the Palestinian Muslims demand another two state solution to divide Israel again. All subterfuge is gone. It is not about creating yet another Arab state, it is to eliminate Israel’s existence. Ignoring the irrelevant “Muslim silent majority”, those with the guns and missiles and power publicly call for Israel to be destroyed. This includes Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and others of Israel’s neighbors.

However, far above all the political bickering, there is a God in Heaven, named Yahweh, who calls the area His land, and He has a very clear position on this “disputed territory. His declaration is recorded by the Bible prophet Joel:

I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land. (Joel 3:2)

Idaho #3

The beauty of Sandpoint is breathtaking! This view is from Thor’s Pizza at the ski area. It was taken through the window right from our table, looking down on the lake, the mountains and Sandpoint. The second pic is of the best pizza in the Northwest Territory.

Last night was a blessed meeting in Bonner’s Ferry near the Canadian border. I will have spoken seven times after Sunday morning at the Cowboy church in Sagle. Wednesday morning was a powerful meeting with the band of brother for five hours. God is moving in Sandpoint! I have also spoken three times in The River of Life with my brother Ken & Mavis Lawrence.

A Gathering Storm From Iran

Israel seems destined to face a regional war this summer. Iran accuses Israel of preparing for a summer war, yet all signs point to Iran furiously building up its supply of arms to Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria. With Syria transferring military arms to Lebanon, the plot thickens. Charges and counter charges as well as denials by all parties fill the airwaves. The story is even gaining traction in the American press that has been preoccupied with the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Russia is in the picture with its sale of S-300 missiles to Iran.

Some prophecy buffs are talking of Armageddon, but this is not it. Psalm 83 describes a smaller regional war with Israel that precedes the epic final battles of the Apocalypse. My new book, Generation LAST, details the basis for this claim. The Second Lebanon War of 2006 was just the first salvo of this summer’s war.

The list of ancient nations in Psalm 83 is notable for the absence of Egypt. Both Jordan and Egypt have peace treaties with Israel. However, Jordan is in the list of those attacking and therefore the monarchy will probably fall to radical Palestinians who make up some 70% of Jordan’s population. A war of precisely these countries has not happened in history which points to future fulfillment.

Their goal is nothing less than the annihilation of Israel to the extent that the name of Israel is blotted out of human history. As ridiculous as this may sound, it is exactly prophesied in this text: “Come,” they say, “let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence.” Psalm 83:4 NLT.

Three non-negotiables that threaten Israel are:

1. Israel’s very existence.

2. The existence of Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital.

3. Israel’s sovereignty over the Temple Mount.

Prime Minister Netanyahu will not compromise on any of the three. Therefore since Israel’s neighbors will not compromise either, war is inevitable. I am speaking of the most likely scenario, but the picture could change drastically if Israel chooses to go at the head of the terrorist snake and attack Iran’s nuclear reactors.

The nations of the world are lining up in opposition to Israel at an alarming rate. The seismic plates are shifting in the Middle East and no peace plan can touch the spiritual dimensions of the coming earthquake. God has the final word and He gave it to us in Psalm 83.

Topic # 1 Lebanese Army Fires On Israeli Jets

BEIRUT (AP) — Lebanese troops opened fire Sunday on four Israeli warplanes, the army said. Notice that this was the Lebanese Army, not Hezbollah, thus a merging of goals.

In recent days, we see Russia selling missiles to Iran. Kremlin: No reason to stall Iran missiles deal (JPost.com). Iran is supplying missiles, rockets and arms to Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas. Then we see Syria supplying armaments to Hezbollah and Lebanon.

Also, the anti-Israel rhetoric grows increasingly militant, foreshadowing a summer war. Hamas politburo chief Khalad Mashaal warned that should another war with Israel erupt, the fighting will not be limited to the Gaza Strip. (ynetnews.com)

What does all this mean? I see it as the buildup to the Psalm 83 War. Look for a major change in Jordan. The radicals are soon to take over and swing Jordan into the war camp. It is the last piece of the puzzle for Psalm 83. For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You. Psalm 83:2-5

Topic #2  Born-Again Zionist Supermodel

There is an excellent article on JPost.com about Kathy Ireland, the former supermodel who is now CEO of her own $1.4 billion company. Having formerly been a three time cover girl for Sports Illustrated, she now has an excellent Christian testimony. The article, by Ilan Evyatar, extols the clear Zionist stand taken by Kathy Ireland, as in this quote: What’s very clear to me is God’s love of Israel and His chosen people. They are the apple of His eyes, His chosen people, His bride, His beloved, His firstborn etched on the palms of his hands. The Abrahamic covenant is unconditional and it is forever. Idaho #2

When people talk about God’s country, this picture of Sandpoint, Idaho comes to mind.

Today I teach a seminar session at the Sports and Outdoor Expo at the fairgrounds here in Sandpoint. The subject is Islam: Religion or Ideology? My bookmark “Quick Guide To Islam” is the outline. America needs to face the contrasts between our Judeo/Christian heritage and Islam, which worships a different god than the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are in the “Generation LAST“. Wake up!

This Sunday I speak at 10:30am at River of Life Church. Next Sunday I will be at the Cowboy Church in Sagle at 10am. During the week I have several meetings scheduled with pastors and marketplace ministers, plus one or two evening church meetings. Please continue to pray. Thanks.

More on Amalek

The main characteristics of the spirit of Amalek are genocide and murder with no reasonable basis. Haman in the Esther account was clearly a descendant of Agag, whom Saul failed to kill in Samuel’s day. The spirit is obviously with us today, but not in a clear bloodline.
According to Jewish history, the last traceable Amalekite was Herod. Topic # 1   Purim and the Amalekites

Beginning with Moses, Israel has fought Amalekites. Ever since King Saul failed to kill Agag the Amalekite, their descendants have tried to destroy Israel. The story of Esther rose out of the plot of Haman who was an Agagite. Esther’s great victory story is celebrated at this month’s Purim holiday.

Moses defeated them in the famous battle where his hands were held up by Aaron and Hur as Joshua led the fight in Exodus 17. At the end of the chapter, God spoke two apparently contradictory prophesies. Yahweh would blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven, but also, that Israel would fight them in every generation. How can these be reconciled? Easy. Israel faces Amalek in every generation until the very last, and then God’s judgment will be meted out. The spirit of Amalek is now working in Islam.

Topic #2  Netanyahu and Amalek

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu labeled Iran as Amalek last year. Then on 1-27-10 he stood in Poland at Auschwitz and linked the Nazi’s with Amalek: Perhaps a few used their final breath to chant another age-old prayer: Remember what Amalek did to you.  Never forget! To those who were murdered here, and to those who survived the destruction, I come from Jerusalem today with this promise:  We will never forget!   We will never permit those who desecrated this monument to death to distort or wipe away your memory.

We will always remember what Amalek’s Nazi heirs did to you.  We will be prepared to defend ourselves when a new Amalek appears on the stage of history and threatens again to annihilate the Jews.

We will not delude ourselves into believing that the threats, vilifications and Holocaust denials are merely empty words.  We will never forget.  We will always be vigilant.

Amalek! So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. This present Florida trip has been full of Divine appointments. Pray for Rain

Chief Jerusalem Rabbi calls for fasting and prayer.

Israel suffers through multi-year drought until the chief Sephardic rabbi calls for a day of repentance, fasting and prayer to the God of Israel for His mercy. The day was January 14, and two days later it started to rain and it rained for six of the next eight days. Some areas had more than their annual rainfall in one day. The drought is not completely over, but Israeli’s now know that their best resort for relief is to call on the name of their God. The Haiti Curse

Topic # 1   Pat Robertson Vilified

“It never ceases to amaze me that in times of amazing human suffering somebody says something that can be so utterly stupid,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, commenting on Pat Robertson’s mention of the curse on Haiti. My question is this: Is there a better explanation for Haiti’s perennial situation. Pat’s reference to their pact with the devil, is historical. The curse is not from God, but the normal effect of serving satan. He came to steal, kill and destroy. He is just doing what he always does. Haiti’s 1791 pact with the devil is still in effect.

Pastor Charles Simpson once said: “It matters what you believe.” He was referring to the famines in India. They believed that cows were gods, so they had no meat. And rats were gods, so they lost much of their grain rather than kill the rats. America, on the other hand is blessed because this land was blessed by the foundations built by our forefathers who believed in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Topic #2  Where is God in Times of Disaster?

There are two equally wrong extreme views of God. One, favored by the media, is that He causes killer storms and delights in the deaths. The other is that He has no power to stop them, watching helplessly as they destroy. The truth is neither extreme. The fact is that God has given man the choice between good and evil. For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord GOD (Yahweh). “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:32 God’s heart is clear in this verse, yet when man chooses evil, there are inevitable consequences.

The gospel is defined in Romans 1, as both righteousness by faith and wrath against unrighteousness. It is good news that God will ultimately and eternally eliminate evil.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Time To Stand!

Topic # 1   Put Your Armor On and STAND

2010 is a pivotal year in prophetic purpose. This is the year that believers must take a stand for truth on every level. We have turned a page in timing. Many Christians have been on cruise control, but now will be forced to make hard choices. Our choices determine our destiny. There are sinister forces in the second heaven taking counsel against Yahweh and His anointed One, Yeshua.

Believers should not fight flesh and blood battles, but understand our enemy is in the spirit realm. Gird up, stand up and war in the armor of God. I see the body of Messiah in a transition from days of Elijah to days of Elisha. We must pray that God opens the eyes of His servants to see the armies of Yahweh arrayed against the enemy. President Reagan had the right attitude about the Cold War with the USSR: We win, they lose. This is true of the last days. We have read the end of the Book, and we win in Jesus!

Topic #2  Stand Therefore Stand

This is a critical election year. Ordinary citizens will join the tea party movement to reverse the unprecedented plunge into government control. There are battles for the life of the unborn, marriage purity and many other areas of our individual freedoms. Yet, the greater conflict is still in spiritual places. Islam is undermining our liberty and demanding our tolerance. We must know we do not worship the same god.

2010 is the year that God makes a difference between His people and the ungodly. We will suffer persecution and even martyrdom, but Jesus promised He would never leave us or forsake us, even to the end. We will see miracles and supernatural provision. Yahweh will favor Israel while the rest of the world panics. Christian Zionists will suffer right along side Israel, but with great joy.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore! Ephesians 6:10-13

Modern Western Christians live in a state of denial regarding certain uncomfortable facts in the real world. Here is another example of radical Islam failing as “the religion of peace and tolerance.” Consider the following quote.

Hamas digs up the bodies of Christians from Christian burial sites in the Gaza Strip claiming that they pollute the earth,” said Majed El Shafie, President of One Free World International, a human rights organization. Every three minutes a Christian is being tortured in the Muslim world, and in 2009 more than 165,000 Christians will have been killed because of their faith, most of them in Muslim countries.     (Matthew Wagner, JPost.com December 12, 2009) Link to full article. Topic #2  The Psalm 83 War: Coming Soon

Iran and Syria signed a mutual defense agreement on Sunday. This is an important step in the run up to the war prophesied in Psalm 83. Syria’s proxy, Hezbollah now effectively controls the military of Lebanon including all the arms supplied to the Lebanese Army by the US, according to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Jordan will soon be controlled by militant Palestinians loyal to Hamas. The net is tightening around Israel. I have been saying for several months to expect Israel to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities in December or January, and I still see it that way. But, whenever it comes, it will surely lead to a regional war. Pray for mercy all around.

Topic # 1   Israel Blesses the Nations

In the volume of my reading about Israel lately, I have noticed two references to a new book by Dan Senor and Saul Singer, Start Up Nation. It details Israel’s amazing technological contribution to the global economy. One such reference was a column by Shmuley Boteach entitled No Holds Barred: Israel’s Time Has Come (JPost.com 10-26-09). Am I the only one tired of hearing only bad news about Jews and Israel? Remember the old joke about the Jew who loves reading anti-Semitic magazines? When asked why, he says, “When I read Jewish newspapers, all I hear is that we’re hated. When I read the anti-Semitic alternatives, they tell me we run the world.”

He goes on to list some of Israel’s positives: Israeli universities ranked in the top 10, a disproportionate number of Nobel Prizes, high percentage of the world’s computer chips made in Israel, and huge business investment in Israel by giants such as Andy Grove, Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. Finally, more Israeli companies are on the NASDAQ than  from all of Europe, China, India, Korea, and Japan combined.

Topic #2  The Hanukkah Menorah

Many Christians are unaware that there is a special Menorah for Hanukkah. The regular Menorah has seven candles speaking of the seven-fold spirit of God in Isaiah 11. But there are nine candles on the Chanakiah. It depicts the miraculous eight days of oil for the Menorah during the time of the Maccabees. Why are there nine candles? The ninth is the Servant candle. It is an amazing picture of Messiah Jesus, who came as a servant and is the Light of the world. Jesus went up to Jerusalem for all the feasts of Yahweh every year, even Hanukkah: It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah. John 10:22 NLTYahweh will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And Yahweh will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. Visualize Sharia Law?

I have an idea for a new bumper sticker: Visualize Sharia Law. The thought comes from a bumper sticker from the eighties: Visualize World Peace. Picture what it would be like to live under Sharia Law. Islam divides the world into only two groups, the House of Peace (Islam) and the House of War (infidels). In other words, they are at war with the rest of us until we submit. Islam is committed to total world conquest. The word Islam literally translates as submission. This does not sound bad to Western thought because we have been birthed out of a Judeo-Christian heritage, which teaches submission differently. Islam’s submission is imposed by Sharia law, while our kind of submission is voluntary. Their submission is actually domination. One example is the idea of offense. Jews and Christians are offended all the time. We are taught to respond with forgiveness. Islamists demand laws be passed to criminalize offense to Muslims. It is a contrived offense as a means to an end. Sharia is imposed inch by inch and yard by yard on naïve slumbering Westerners till it is too late.

Backward Trials

Why has the media missed the trial contradictions? The Fort Hood trial involves a Muslim American terrorist in a military tribunal. The New York trial involves a foreign terrorist, 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others, given a civilian trial. What is wrong with this picture? The citizen gets the tribunal with less rights than civilian trials, and the non-citizens arrested on foreign soil get all the rights of American citizens. The effect of this inversion of rights, benefits Islam in both cases. Much of the Fort Hood case will be private, thus not exposing the Islamist ideology of Hassan. The New York situation, on the other hand, will be a media circus for years. The danger is that it will be a bully pulpit for the most radical Muslim propaganda, and worse, an exceptional opportunity to recruit home grown terrorists. Furthermore, it will be a political punching bag of the Bush administration and the CIA. Just as President Obama’s unprecedented bows to the Saudi King and the Japanese Emperor, the United States is bowing to Islam via these trials.

Topic # 1   Home Grown Terror or Hell Grown Terror?

Contrary to the media norm, “Allah Akbar”, does NOT mean: God is great. Allah is not a generic term, it a name, the personal name of the god of Islam. Also, the second word doesn’t mean great, but greater. Therefore, a homicide bomber shouting “Allah is the greatest!” not only makes a political statement, he swears complete allegiance to his god as a perverse act of worship. He sincerely believes his god is the greatest of all.

A Christian or Jewish Zionist has a similar bias. He worships Yahweh, the God of the Bible, with as much passion as the most rabid Islamic extremist. The difference is that we are not rewarded by our God for murdering innocent people. We are instructed to love our enemies. My heart goes out to all the Muslims who reject the radicals. However, the truth is quite plain. It does not matter how many moderates there are, if the crazies run the asylum. How many Nazi’s did it take when the majority God-fearing German people did not stop them?

The war with Islamic terrorism is for world domination. It is not an election. The majority opinion is irrelevant. We must stand up, speak out and sound the alarm! There is less time left than you think.

Fort Hood Motive Is Simple

The reason for the confusion surrounding the linking of Islamic extremism to the Fort Hood atrocity, is so simple, it is just too easy for most experts to accept. He was a terrorist, because scores of people were terrified. He was an Islamic terrorist because of his own self proclaimed religious ideology. The hidden truth is in the phrase he shouted as he coldly and methodically ended the lives of 14 people including a baby in the womb; and altered the lives of hundreds more who were either injured or family of the victims.

First, let’s agree it was a suicide attack. There could have been no hope for escaping alive. It is what has come to be known as “suicide by police”. But this was no ordinary criminal; this was a classic Islamic homicide attacker. All you need to know is that he shouted “Allahu Akbar!” according to multiple eye witnesses at the scene.

Why is this simple phrase so misunderstood? Virtually all sources repeating this phrase insist on miss-translation. The government, the media, even the military make the simple, yet monumental mistake. It matters little whether it is intentional deception, political correctness, or ignorance. The public is left in impotent confusion.

Contrary to the media norm, “Allahu Akbar”, does NOT mean: God is great. Allah is not a generic term, it a name, the personal name of the god of Islam. Also, the second word doesn’t mean great, but greater. Therefore, a homicide bomber shouting “Allah is the greatest!” not only makes a political statement, he swears complete allegiance to his god as a perverse act of worship. He sincerely believes his god is the greatest of all.

A Christian or Jewish Zionist has a similar bias. He worships the God of the Bible with as much passion as the most rabid Islamic extremist. The difference is that we are not rewarded by our God for murdering innocent people. We are instructed to love our enemies. My heart goes out to all the Muslims who reject the radicals. However, the truth is quite plain. It does not matter how many moderates there are, if the crazies run the asylum. How many Nazi’s did it take when the majority God-fearing German people did not stop them?

The war with Islamic terrorism is for world domination. It is not an election. The majority opinion is irrelevant. We must stand up, speak out and sound the alarm! There is less time left than you think.

Bonus Commentary

Why is it important for anyone in the world today to be aware of the events centered around the Temple Mount in Jerusalem?

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared in 2005 that Israel should be “wiped off the face of the earth.”   Why the fixation on Jerusalem and the Temple Mount? It is a simple conflict of interests. Islam aims to conquer the world, but first they must deal with this tiny nation that sits in the middle of the face of Islam like a boil. Islam’s world domination ability is contradicted by Israel’s existence. From a Christian Zionist perspective, it is the ancient battle between God and Satan. The Bible in Isaiah 14 states that Satan’s goal is to set up his own throne on the Temple Mount instead of the Messiah of Israel. Whether you believe the Bible or not, the collision is inevitable. The whole world will be rocked with the events about to transpire over the intractable issue of Jerusalem. It could start with Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear reactors, a Palestinian intifada (uprising) on the Mount, a blow up in Gaza or the West Bank by Hamas, or even an attack from Hezbollah in Lebanon. Or it could be all of the above. One thing is certain, in this writer’s opinion, the bell has rung. It has already started and is unstoppable until the inevitable war breaks out. Wake up! Watch and be alert.

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 This principle is affirmed by Paul from its source in Deuteronomy 32:34-35. We are not allowed to take our own revenge, it is for God to do it. If we take it into our own hands, He steps back. But it we let Him, He will defend us and do a more perfect job of it.

Now contrast this with Islam which orders its jihadists to go all over the world avenging their religion, their prophet, their “honor”. This is such a profound opposite of our Judeo-Christian heritage! Jesus says to LOVE our enemies! Do we “all worship the same god”? I think not!

Hidden in the Day of Yahweh’s Anger

Topic # 1   A Time of Judgment

Doreen and I have been reading in Zephaniah 2 and Zechariah 2. Zephaniah speaks judgment: Seek Yahweh, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of Yahweh’s anger. Zeph. 2:3 But, it also speaks of protection, that we may be hidden in that day.

We are now seeing darkness coming on the whole earth. All that can be shaken will shake. Yet, there is a hiding place for those who love righteousness, justice and humility.

The second reference has a powerful and positive proclamation. Many nations shall be joined to Yahweh in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent Me to you. And Yahweh will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem. Zech. 2:11-12

The purpose of judgment is always redemption. The wrath of God is final, but judgment holds out the opportunity for repentance. Pray for our land and for Israel, that we will call on His Son, Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah for mercy.

Topic #2  The Koran’s anti-Semitic Motif Decrees:

Last Meeting on Tour!

Today was our last meeting on this three week tour of New England. Pastor Gil and Robin Parmley of Faith Fellowship Church in Uxbridge, Mass hosted us. We had a wonderful service with several hundred extremely receptive people. There was a special anointing of the Holy Spirit as I spoke on Psalm 102, The Holocaust Psalm. A Time To Feast!

Topic # 1   Feast of Tabernacles!

Israel is now in the midst of celebrating the great feast of ingathering, called the Feast of Tabernacles. Christians look to this season as the probable time of the Messiah Yeshua returning. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Zech.14:16

The Sounding of the Shofar or trumpet signals the start to the fall feasts. The trumpet historically only sounded when the High Priest saw the new moon. If it was cloudy that night it was delayed daily until the moon was seen. Jews called it “the day that no man knows the day or the hour”. So when Jesus answered the question about his return with that  phrase, he was not speaking obscurely. He was actually being very specific to say He would return during the Feast of Tabernacles! We are at Shalom Peniel Congregation meeting tonight in Portsmouth, NH. Their Issachar Forum meets Sunday night in Dover, NH. Please continue praying for us. Yesterday we actually saw snow on the top of a few mountains near Conway. The fall colors are breaking out all around. Next week we head home to Raleigh and Wake Forest, NC

Great Start in New Hampshire

Saturday morning we had an excellent men’s meeting at The River Church in Conway, NH with 19 attending. I shared on Ezekiel 36 with enthusiastic reception.

Today, I spoke on Psalm 102 at the Sunday service. The River Church is led by Pastor Henry Snyder. The worship was very warm and friendly. We felt right at home. What a Weekend!

9-20-09 021It has been a couple days since my last blog. We have been in marathon sessions at our Martha’s Vineyard retreat about 10 hours a day. We had a wonderful time of personal ministry where the Lord had me impart the “sword” to each one in the group. I declared Psalm 1 and also shared the Biblical basis for our Elisha Vision. Jansen continued on Kingdom economics and Janie McManus shared an awesome vision of the living structure and interrelationships of the Lord’s Prayer to the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit. These were keyed to the colors of the rainbow and geometric 3-D shapes. My final teaching was on the glory of Yahweh imparted to us from Isaiah 60.
