Elisha Vision – Commentary

Today was our last meeting on this three week tour of New England. Pastor Gil and Robin Parmley of Faith Fellowship Church in Uxbridge, Mass hosted us. We had a wonderful service with several hundred extremely receptive people. There was a special anointing of the Holy Spirit as I spoke on Psalm 102, The Holocaust Psalm. Topic # 1   Feast of Tabernacles!

Israel is now in the midst of celebrating the great feast of ingathering, called the Feast of Tabernacles. Christians look to this season as the probable time of the Messiah Yeshua returning. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Zech.14:16

The Sounding of the Shofar or trumpet signals the start to the fall feasts. The trumpet historically only sounded when the High Priest saw the new moon. If it was cloudy that night it was delayed daily until the moon was seen. Jews called it “the day that no man knows the day or the hour”. So when Jesus answered the question about his return with that  phrase, he was not speaking obscurely. He was actually being very specific to say He would return during the Feast of Tabernacles! Topic # 2   Three Overlooked Facts

ONE — Israel became a nation in 1312 BC, two thousand years before the rise of Islam.

TWO — Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

THREE — Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BC, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.

And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which Yahweh strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah 14:17-18

Saturday morning we had an excellent men’s meeting at The River Church in Conway, NH with 19 attending. I shared on Ezekiel 36 with enthusiastic reception.

Today, I spoke on Psalm 102 at the Sunday service. The River Church is led by Pastor Henry Snyder. The worship was very warm and friendly. We felt right at home. Doreen will speak at their ladies’s meeting Tuesday night and I will speak again Wednesday night. Please keep praying for us. Thank you!

Our time on Martha’s Vineyard has been delightful and we are very grateful for the hospitality of our hosts, Tom & Janie McManus.

It has been a couple days since my last blog. We have been in marathon sessions at our Martha’s Vineyard retreat about 10 hours a day. We had a wonderful time of personal ministry where the Lord had me impart the “sword” to each one in the group. I declared Psalm 1 and also shared the Biblical basis for our Elisha Vision. Jansen continued on Kingdom economics and Janie McManus shared an awesome vision of the living structure and interrelationships of the Lord’s Prayer to the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit. These were keyed to the colors of the rainbow and geometric 3-D shapes. My final teaching was on the glory of Yahweh imparted to us from Isaiah 60.

Today we spent much of the day in heavy duty teaching and sharing on Kingdom economics contrasted with the world system. Jansen Barfield spoke from his expertise in banking and the economy. He shared Parts 1 & 2 today with Part 3 tomorrow morning.

My sharing was on the Feast of Trumpets and the Prophetic Shape of Church History. We rejoiced in the glorious anticipation of the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua ben Yahweh!

What a wonderful time we had tonight with Pastor Favio and Valeria Soares and his Brazilian church family. The worship was great and their hospitality was much appreciated. The church received the message of God’s timing for Martha’s Vineyard and their place in ministry. We shared from Psalm 102, the holocaust Psalm, how God’s favor on Israel is for the Day of Yahweh! Jesus is coming back soon. This is the last generation. What a day to be alive and active in the prophetic plan of the ages!

“Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’?
I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” John 4:35

Today we had a great tour of the island visiting several lighthouses and countless chamber of commerce scenic views of the ocean and cliffs and ponds and sheep and towns. We visited the area called Christiantown, which was originally called God Town and was populated in 1660 by a tribe of Indians who were Christian believers and were known as “the praying Indians”! We spoke a blessing over the deep roots of Jesus in the island.

Later, we visited the Chappaquiddick area and spoke the prophetic word that the prinicipality over Martha’s Vineyard has been removed! The island is now entering a new season of an open heaven.

The highlight of the day was our last stop at the old campmeeting grounds at Oak Bluffs. I am standing in front of the Tabernacle that was dedicated in 1879. The sign says: “Surely the presence of God is in this place.” God spoke to me 15 years ago on my first visit here that He has preserved this place for the Last Days Revival! We worshiped and I sounded the shofar multiple times and in many patterns and tones as a prophetic announcement of the new season. I also spoke in Hebrew: Bo ruach hakodesh Yahweh! The translation is: Come Holy Spirit of Yahweh! May it be done according to His word.

Had supper yesterday at the Blue Colony Diner near Danbury, CT. (for Tom & Donna).

Arrived at Martha’s Vineyard today on an earlier ferry that went to Oak Bluffs instead of Vineyard Haven. We took that as a God thing since we have such a word for the old preserved 19th century campground there. We circled it twice and declared that Yahweh has preserved it for the last day revival!

We ended the day with a campfire on the beach with our retreat folks and my very first smores! Yummy! God is so good.

Topic # 1   The Squeeze On Israel Is Coming!

Stay tuned the next two weeks! There is a confluence of serious factors leading to big trouble for Israel. President Obama will be meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Abbas in New York around the UN gathering. Iran says they will talk but not about their nukes. The US now admits that Iran could have a bomb by February. Israel will have to attack before then, but after the UN meetings. Many experts believe the US is setting a trap for Israel at the UN to extract extraordinary concessions under world pressure.

Pray especially for PM Benjamin Netanyahu to listen to Yahweh and have the courage to say “NO” to pressure.

“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Yahweh and against His Anointed.“ Psalm 2:1-2

Topic # 2   Quid But No Quo!

Cal Thomas got it right! In his September 9 Jewish World Review column, Cal made a great point:
“The Latin phrase “quid pro quo” means “something for something.” Israel has given lots of quid, but has received little quo. The Obama administration is again pressing Israel to stop building homes on its historic territory.”

He concludes his article with the following statement: “Arab and Muslim nations, having started five wars, might go for number six if they believe they can win the next one. Only a fool would believe otherwise, given their repeatedly stated intentions and behavior. In the Middle East and in Washington, there is a surplus of fools.”

“You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve Yahweh with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalm 2:9-12

Topic # 1   UK Honor Killings Now One Per Month!

This Thursday, Sept. 3, a Florida Circuit Court will rule on the case of a 17 year old former Muslim girl, who says her family from Ohio will kill her within one week if she is sent home to their custody. Her name is Rifqa Bary and says: “If they love Allah more than me, they have to kill me…I am the first person in my family who has come to know Jesus; can you imagine what an ‘honor’ it would be for them to kill me? .. It’s written in the Koran; if I go back, I would be dead within a week. There are hundreds of such cases; I’m only one of them.” Pray for Rifqa the next 36 life or death hours! Her parents have reportedly rushed to sell out their businesses to be able to flee the country if Rifqa is returned to them.    PRAY! Topic # 2   Only 4% Israeli Jews See Obama As Pro-Israel

The number of Israelis who see President Obama’s policies as pro-Israel has fallen to 4%, down from 6% in June, according to a Smith Research poll taken last week. Fifty-one percent of Jewish Israelis consider Obama’s administration more pro-Palestinian than pro-Israel, while 35% consider it neutral and 10% declined to express an opinion. The same poll in May showed 31% of Israeli Jews found Obama pro-Israel, compared to 88% considering the Bush administration to be pro-Israel. That is a drop of 31 points for Obama since June. This represents a major shift in U.S. policy towards our greatest friend in the Middle East. Strange things are afoot at the White House and the State Department. As we pray for our country we must remember this unconditional promise to Israel from Yahweh; God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.     I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Topic # 1   Keeping Score:  Lies 9  —  Truth 0

How ironic that Bethlehem, the birthplace of the Messiah of Truth, should host the first Fatah Conference in 20 years in the bondage of demonic deception and lies. Emboldened by Pres. Obama’s new appeasement policy for the Muslim world, Fatah increased and hardened its demands.

A quick list:

1. Demanded ALL of Jerusalem BEFORE any negotiations will begin. This is the first time for this demand.

2. Demanded all Jews be expelled from Judea and Samaria (the West Bank).

3. Demanded millions of foreign born Arabs be moved inside Israel, thus becoming the majority in Israel (yet the new Palestinian state will be free of any Jews. See #2).

4. Demanded Israel withdraw to 1949 lines.

5. Endorsed terrorism as legitimate “resistance”.

6. Demanded all terrorists be released from Israeli prisons.

7. Embraced Aksa Martyrs Brigade as members of Fatah.

8. Approved alliance with Iran.

9. Officially voted to blame Israel for Yasser Arafat’s death.

The Bethlehem Fatah Conference unmasked the so-called moderates. They are as committed as ever to driving Israel into the sea. Their maps, textbooks and uniform patches show the map of Israel as only a Palestinian state. We better wake up and smell the coffee. Topic # 2   Taliban Threatens to Chop Off Voters Fingers.

Afghan election: “We will know those who cast a vote from the ink, and his finger will be cut off,” a commander warned villagers in the south of the country, the New York Times reported. —- YAHWEH HAVE MERCY!

The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down. Isaiah 29:20

Topic # 1   The Ark of God’s Presence

There is much confusion about holiness. The dead church always makes holiness a condition which can be obtained by outward actions. They make rules about clothes and hair and behavior in order to make one “holy”. However, only God is holy and holiness is not a behavior, it is a Person. It certainly affects our behavior, but comes from the encounter with the presence of God. His holiness will either kill us or change us. It is Jesus who makes us holy as a result of faith in His shed blood as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

My dear friend, Pam Raymond, had a spiritual experience of heaven which left her with the conclusion: “I never knew how holy God is!” How much time do we spend in His presence? Holiness is not what we do, but Who He is! Dear heavenly Father, please come and visit us, touch us with your nature. You alone are holy and we desire you every moment.

Topic # 2   Max Lucado On the Name of Yahweh

You want to know who God really is?… Then read this, And [David] writes the name Yahweh.  “Yahweh is my shepherd.”  Though foreign to us, the name was rich to David. So rich, in fact, that David chose Yahweh over El Shaddai (God Almighty), El Elyon (God Most High), and El Olam (God the Everlasting)…Many other titles for God were at David’s disposal. But when he considered all the options, David chose Yahweh.

Topic # 1   Israel Fed Up With US Settlement Demands

A senior Israeli government official on Monday said Jerusalem is “fed up” with the Obama Administration’s exaggerated focus on the construction of Jewish homes in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem. US President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton have become almost hostile when demanding that Israel halt the growth of Jewish neighborhoods in any areas claimed by the Palestinians. Israeli PM Netanyahu responded by saying you cannot simply freeze the normal flow of life in Jewish neighborhoods that have been established for decades. (Israel Today) “Like one who seizes a dog by the ears is a passer-by who meddles in a quarrel not his own.” Prov. 26:17

The United States, the last holdout, has joined the rest of the world in demanding that Israel stop all building and growth in Judea and Samaria; a demand that extends to east Jerusalem.  Now ALL the nations of the world are shouting to Israel with one voice: “Get out of the Land!” or “Divide the Land!” The fulfillment of Joel 3:2 is imminent. Topic # 2   Sarkozy: Burqas Not Welcome In France

French President Nicolas Sarkozy lashed out Monday at the practice of wearing the Muslim burqa, insisting the full-body religious gown is a sign of the “debasement” of women. “In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity,” Sarkozy said. “The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience. I want to say it solemnly,” he continued, “it will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic.” (Jerusalem Post)

Topic # 1   Escape Or Purpose?

What are we to do when trouble comes? Are we now entering into global judgment and even tribulation? Our first thought is escape, but Jesus had a different mindset. As He contemplated His imminent death, He faced that choice and won! Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name. John 12:27-28a.

Yeshua knew His purpose was to glorify the Father. In purpose, death was not an option but required. Purpose is what gave Him direction and the same is true for us. Even as Esther came to the Kingdom “for such a time as this”, so we must know our purpose, our “reason to live”.

Topic # 2   The Answer of Yahweh

Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” John 12:28

When Yeshua stood firm on His purpose, an amazing thing happened. Yahweh spoke in an audible voice that was heard by those gathered! He declared that He had glorified His name in the past and He would again in the future. What we have missed in this verse is the prophetic purpose. Jesus lived and died and rose to bring us to the Father! If we relate only to Jesus, we will miss the purpose He came!

There has not been a day since His earthly ministry that the NAME of the Father needed to be known like today. His name is YAHWEH! It is not buddha, allah, or any other god. There is no god like our God! He is the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is the living, Creator God. I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.’ Is. 46:9-10

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Yahweh, to the glory of God the Father. Topic # 1   Why Are the Jews Still Here?

It is hard for anyone to understand the survival of the Jewish people. This miracle is not lost on any thoughtful man. I believe that Jews and all those who know the history of the Jews must pause to ponder the very existence of the Jewish people.  It seems to me, only the disingenuous could say in their hearts there is no God.  It would appear easy to go from the apparent conclusion that there is a God to seek for the God who had caused such an improbable outcome for a group of people He calls His own.  Consider Mal 3:6 which says: “For I am Yahweh, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed”

It is intuitive to take from these facts and this verse this conclusion:  The Jews are not consumed, therefore Yahweh exists. Thus, it is ignorant and arrogant to think that what God has said about the outcome of the Jews with respect to the land of Israel is not true. Yet, the whole world ignores the fact that Yahweh does not change. They march, as prophetically predicted, to the valley of decision (isn’t that some where near Zion?).  They seem not only to deny God, they appear determined to go to war with Him. They collectively drink a cup of lunacy. (Editorial by John Fisk)

Topic # 2   Arab Citizens of Israel?

What is the future for the Israeli Arabs? While Muslim countries do not allow Jews, or treat them as second class, Israel has 1.5 million Arab citizens. Jeremiah tells their future: Thus says Yahweh: “Against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit–behold, I will pluck them out of their land and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. Then it shall be, after I have plucked them out, that I will return and have compassion on them and bring them back, everyone to his heritage and everyone to his land. And it shall be, if they will learn carefully the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be established in the midst of My people. But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 12:14-17

Topic # 1   Call To Prophetic Intercession

Today, we await the Monday meeting of Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Obama in Washington, DC. My prayer is for mercy on the President, because he seems determined to make a sharp left turn from the set purpose of Yahweh. It is not the Prime Minister or Israel that is being weighed in the balances, but the United States. There is now an incredible acceleration of prophetic timing. God is already in His “set time” (Ps.102) to favor Zion.

Israel’s destiny is sure, but what about America? The next few days will go a long way in that determination, depending on how we treat Israel, the apple of Yahweh’s eye. Intercede, not according to our hopes or wishes, but in agreement with the prophetic will of Him Who knows the end from the beginning. Pray that PM Netanyahu will listen to the God of Israel and not fear man. “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in Yahweh is kept safe.” Prov. 29:25

Topic # 2   What Part of “No other gods” Don’t You Get?

How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name for Baal. Jer. 23:26-27 Don’t be deceived. We are under an unprecedented direct attack by the ancient Baal gods led by the pagan god of Islam. People have forgotten the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His name is Yahweh (or Jehovah) and He is the Father of all creation. He has a son, Yeshua ben Yahweh (or Jesus, Son of God) whose name is above every other name! Allah has no son and is not a father!

“And it shall be, in that day,” Says Yahweh, “You will call Me ‘My Husband,’ And no longer call Me ‘My Master,’ For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more.” Hosea 2:16-17“              Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.”            1 Jn. 2:22

Topic # 1   Flu Pandemic!

Today, the world is fearing the flu. Yet, we know that pestilence is one more in the list of end time events including wars, famine, earthquakes, economic collapse and fear itself. “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Luke 21:26 We have spoken for years about living by faith. Now is the time!

Topic # 2   Pakistani Link to Mexico Flu Deaths?

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s chief medical correspondent, who turned down the invitation to be U.S. Surgeon General, was interviewed live last Sunday (4:10pm Eastern)  when he first arrived in Mexico City. He spoke of the first death in Mexico: “The first case was a man visiting from Pakistan who came here, was treated for about two weeks for what they thought was a stomach virus. It ended up being the swine flu and he did not survive that.” Could this have been a biological terror attack? Why is the first death a visitor from another part of the world? The timing is also amazing. If he was treated for two weeks, then he was there well ahead of Pres. Obama’s Mexico City visit.

Topic # 3   Prime Minister Netanyahu on: Two States

“The entire international community demands that we recognize the principle of two states for two peoples, and we are discovering that this is two states not for two peoples but two states for one people, or two states for a people-and-a-half. That is to say, there is no doubt that we are being asked to recognize the Palestinian state as the national state for the Palestinian people, but there is doubt—and not just doubt; it is clear that the Palestinians have no intention of recognizing the national state of the Jewish people. Topic # 1   Last Day of Passover

Today, Passover week ends, on the 3,721st anniversary of Joshua and Israel’s crossing of the Jordan River into the Promised Land. In Israel today descendants of those very Israelites gathered at Joshua’s altar set up near Shechem in Samaria. They rejoiced at the promise of Yahweh fulfilled. However, today the area is disputed by Palestinians and the UN claiming it for the “two state solution”. We know how this will end. We have read the Book! Israel will have the entire land of Israel and the nations who attempt to divide the land will be judged severely. (See Joel 3)

The irony of history is that the UN engraved “swords into plowshares” (Isaiah 2:4) at its New York headquarters. But Joel 3:10 says just the opposite: “plowshares into swords”. The UN peace is the prophesied false peace. First will come the judgment of God, then real peace in Jesus.

Topic # 2   A Timely Comment on the Economic Crises

“The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.” Cicero—55 B.C.

Sound familiar? Another cliché comes to mind. Those who do not learn the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them. One phrase in the Cicero quote stands out to me: “the arrogance of officialdom”. Every great empire falls the same way, yet we insist on the same mistakes.

The lesson is that God is in control. Man in his pride will always fall before the purpose of God. Pray for His will to be done in our personal lives and especially in our nation. Get ready. Jesus (Yeshua Ben Yahweh) is coming soon!

The day has finally arrived for a new government in Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in March 31, 2009. He will be widely quoted for his cryptic description of his plan for peace with the Palestinians: “No shortcuts.” This is sure to lead to consternation among the nations who demand an immediate “two state solution”. However, Bibi (Netanyahu’s nick-name) knows what the Bible says about dividing the land of Israel. “I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat.* There I will judge them for harming my people, for scattering my inheritance among the nations, and for dividing up my land. Joel 3:2   Jehoshaphat means: “Yahweh judges.”

While Bibi will not always make the right decisions, we are confident that he knows the God of Israel and fears Him. This in our opinion is a direct difference with the outgoing Prime Minister. Pray for courageous Biblical leadership.

Topic # 2   A Rare Story of Eliezer Ben Yehuda

I won’t identify my source for sensitive reasons, but this report is on good authority. Eliezer Ben Yehuda is the father of modern Hebrew, after 1,700 years as a dead language.

Little known is the fact that from the beginning, he was opposed by fellow Jews in Europe and the Holy Land due to their preference for Yiddish, a German/Hebrew mixture. Over the years since his death in 1922, vandals have defaced his grave with graffiti curses against him in Yiddish. Even this year there are still curses sprayed on his grave. However, the curses now are written in Hebrew. Eliezer Ben Yehuda finally gets the “last laugh” In the words of the late Paul Harvey, “So now you know the rest of the story.”

Topic # 1   The Day of Yahweh?

Joel 1:15: The day of Yahweh is on the way, the day when destruction comes from the Almighty. How terrible that day will be! There are over thirty scripture verses speaking of “the day of the LORD.” Every man and every nation will one day give account to God. We don’t like to think about it. A famous sermon title was: “Payday, Someday!”

Most people and even most Christians think everything will continue on indefinitely. This is wrong. There is a day of recompense. History is not an endless cycle of repetition. History is linear. There is a beginning and an end. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7 The new age bumper sticker says: “Visualize World Peace” but a more timely one would be: “Visualize the Wrath of God.” Do you pray that God will give you exactly what you deserve? Or do you cry out for mercy in the day of judgment?

For prophecy students, Israel is the canary in the mine. The world is getting harsher and heavier in condemnation of Israel. As Islam figures stronger in the mix, the attacks will be extended to Christians and all other religions. Wake up and smell the coffee! Pray for the real peace of Jerusalem and for Yahweh’s purpose to be fulfilled in the whole earth!

Topic # 2   Heavy Rain Helps To Stop Drought!

“An Israeli expert says that several days of heavy rainfall earlier this month may have been just enough to stave off what officials were warning was going to be an extremely severe summer drought. Ahikam Barlevy, CEO of the Hatzbani-Dan water company, told HA’ARETZ that thunderstorms at the end of February and beginning of March had dumped about 4 inches of rain on northern Israel.” [Israel Today]

Topic # 1   Why Not G—D?

We have a calling from the God of the Bible to make His name known. Orthodox Jews will not say His name. They substitute Adonai which means Lord; or HaShem which means “the Name”. They believe Yahweh’s actual personal name is too holy to utter. Even when they write the word “God” they insert a dash in place of the vowel.  (Yahweh and Jehovah are different spellings of His name.) See Ex. 6:2-3

Christians make a similar error. Our Bibles mostly all substitute LORD (IN ALL CAPS) every time the real Hebrew text says Yahweh. He has allowed these two peoples to hide His name for 2,000 years, but the time has come to restore His name in usage and worship. The false pagan baal god allah is rising to usurp the highest place. The very phrase: “allah akbar” means “allah is greater”. Yet the scriptures are full of verses declaring Yahweh will make His name known both in blessing and in judgment in all the earth.

“Who but God goes up to heaven and comes back down? Who holds the wind in his fists? Who wraps up the oceans in his cloak? Who has created the whole wide world? What is his name–and his son’s name? Tell me if you know!” Proverbs 30:4. This text is the key to unlock and restore a great revelation. The Koran repeatedly says allah has no son. Yahweh is our Father’s name and Yeshua (Jesus) is His son’s name. It is time to make His name known!

Topic # 2   Israel Election Results: Snow!

Mt Hermon was brown before the Israeli election on Feb. 10. They have had over six feet of snow since. The Sea of Galilee is up a foot in the last few days. The worst drought in 80 years is breaking. May Yahweh’s name be exalted! Pray that his  favor will continue to fall on Israel and the new government led by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am Yahweh. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Yahweh I was not known to them.”     Exodus 6:2-3

Zechariah 10:1 “Ask Yahweh for rain In the time of the latter rain. Yahweh will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.” Election day and the next had wind and rain with two more days of rain next week! “You, O God, sent a plentiful rain. Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance When it was weary.” Psalm 68:9

Topic # 3   Australia: Fire and Death Jihad?

I am enjoying the indescribable beauty and hospitality of snowy Sandpoint, Idaho on a ministry trip. Yet I spoke with  a fire official here regarding the devastating forest fires a world away in Australia. “As more than 31 major fires continued to rage in the Australian state of Victoria and the death toll approached 200, there is speculation some of the blazes may have been set by Islamists waging a “holy war,” or jihad. Investigators have determined some of the fires were deliberately set by arsonists. A recent report warned Australia had been singled out as a target for a “forest jihad” by a group urging Muslims to deliberately light bushfires as a weapon of terror.” (INN) Pray for the firefighters in that region.

Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God. Who covers the heavens with clouds. Who prepares rain for the earth. Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.      Psalm 147:7-8

Topic # 1   Benjamin = “son of the right hand”

The Israeli election is February 10. Having just elected “the leader of the free world” in President Obama, we could easily miss the importance of Israel’s vote. I submit that it could be more eternally significant than the U.S. election.

Israel has experienced severe judgment under its current leadership who has not listened to God. One sure sign of His displeasure with any nation is withholding of rain. Israel is in perhaps the worst drought of her modern history. My prayer for Israel is according to Zechariah 10:1 “Ask Yahweh for rain In the time of the latter rain. Yahweh will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.”

My personal opinion is that Benjamin Netanyahu is God’s man for this hour. His name means: Son of my right hand, gift of God. I pray for God’s choice.

PREDICTION: If Netanyahu wins, then I predict an unusually heavy amount of spring rains in Israel after almost nothing during the winter rainy season. PRAY and stay tuned! (I say this from Biblical deduction, not claiming it to be prophetic, just logical from God’s nature.)

Topic # 2   George Mitchell and Humanism

The trouble with humanism is pride. Senator Mitchell properly deserves some of the credit for peace in N. Ireland. However, he is now extending what worked there to Israel. He now says: “Conflicts are created, conducted and sustained by human beings. They can be ended by human beings.” Sorry George, NOT THIS TIME! This one is cosmic: angels and demons, God and satan, heaven and hell, Yahweh and allah. This is a fight to the end for the King! And for His Kingdom!

Please, please visit the website Dry Bones featured in the blue box at right. The cartoon and video of Monday January 12 (scroll down to find the proper date) are the clearest I have seen to prove my point. It contains the following quote from a Hamas leader, Fathi Hammad, in this recent speech:

For the Palestinian people, death has become an industry, at which women excel, and so do all the people living on this land. The elderly excel at this, and so do the mujahideen and the children. Topic # 1   Am Israel Chai—The People of Israel Live!

Gaza is aflame! “But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza,” Perhaps Amos 1:7 could be translated “a wall of fire”. Have you seen the news videos of walls of fire in Gaza? It only reminds me of Amos 1. This fire will devour the palaces or exalted places. The mocking arrogance of Hamas exalts itself against the purpose of the God of Israel. Hamas will fall. May it be soon and may the collapse be complete. Hamas is the actual word for “violence” in Genesis. This is an age old problem of man in rebellion against God. All the demons of hell itself will not block the purpose of God to favor Israel with His mercy in the last days. Am Israel Chai—The People of Israel Live!

Topic # 2   The Pro-Israel Two State Oxymoron

Last Friday I preached on the above concept. It is a major contradiction of terms to claim to be a Christian and support the two state solution in Israel. There is no wiggle room in Joel 3:2. The great last day judgment of God will be to gather the nations to the valley of Jehoshaphat because    they scattered Israel and “they have also divided up My land.”

Many true Christians are genuinely confused on this point. Clarity comes from letting the scriptures settle it. This is not about tolerance or sympathy, but God’s voice. Yahweh has spoken and He will do it! Amos 1:8 ends with: “And the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” says Adonai Yahweh.”

Thus says Yahweh:”For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment,

Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces.

Topic #1  Where is the media coverage?

Last Sunday an 8 year old Israeli boy was hit by a Kassam rocket fired from Gaza into Israel. He lost one leg and has been in an induced coma all week while doctors try to save his other leg. This is an unspeakable atrocity! Where is the UN condemnation of this crime? Where is the TV coverage? Have you heard about it in the news? No. It is not a story to the world’s media. Their storyline is only about “the poor youth in Gaza who dies at the oppressive hand of the Israeli occupiers”, (even though they have not occupied Gaza for several years now since the withdrawal).

There is an indisputable fact in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Palestinian terrorists intentionally target civilians for maximum terror effect. That’s why they are called terror—ists! It is their stated cowardly policy. Yet Israel never purposely tries to kill civilians. They only die because of proximity to terrorists. Of course, even this is intentional by the terrorists, since they use children to retrieve rocket launchers and hide their bombs in civilian areas and homes. This, too, is tragedy.

Topic #2   Do Islamists Kill Innocent babies and children?

Islamic spokesmen deny with mock indignation when asked if they target innocents.  What they don’t tell you is their definition of innocents. No infidel (non-Muslim or apostate Muslim) is ever innocent! Even the youngest baby will grow up to be a warrior against Islam and is therefore a valid target of holy jihad. They rejoice and hand out candy!

Yesterday, AP News carried a nine paragraph story about a disabled Arab man who was shot as Israel was attempting to arrest a terrorist in Jenin. This is always news.

Topic #1  35% of Gaza Residents Spill Into Egypt

Over 500,000 Gazans, (half a million people!), poured through their border with Egypt after Hamas blew up several miles of border wall. According to Debkafile, Egyptian intelligence sources have discovered that, far from being chaotic, the surge of humanity from Gaza into the Sinai was minutely planned by Hamas (Debkafile, January 29). Each Gazan was given $300 by Hamas. Some of this cash was reported to be counterfeit shekels and dollars.

Hamas was elected to rule Gaza a few years ago by 70% of Gaza voters! This, despite the open Hamas goal of driving Israel into the Sea! Hamas shared power with the Palestinian Authority until they tossed them out of Gaza in a bloody coup. Now this massive breakout into Egypt threatens not only Egypt, but Israel also, because there is no fence between Israel and Egypt. This now allows terrorists to circle the border checkpoints and walk right into Israel proper. We are fast approaching the final judgment of Gaza. Topic #2   To See Or Not To See? That Is the Question

The United Nations continues to find ways to blame Israel for this mess! Hamas fired an average of six rockets a day into Israel last year! President Bush tells Israel they can defend themselves against Hamas, but don’t kill civilians while Hamas uses young boys to retrieve the fired launchers! Applied Scripture! “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened his servant’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.” 2 Kings 6:16-17

Topic #1  God’s Identity Theft Problem

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob wants to reveal His name, Yahweh. It has been cloaked for literally thousands of years. From the mouths of Jews, to the pages of scripture, the name of God has been eradicated. No one except the readers of the Hebrew Torah ever sees the written name of God and no one, certainly not the Jews, speaks it. This must change. God wants to have His identity known.

Satan is an identity thief, and the identity he intends to steal is Yahweh’s. The most serious case is between the names Yahweh and Allah. These names do not refer to the same god. If you think they do, then you are a victim of the satanic identity thief. My God’s name is defiantly not Allah! When President Bush says we all worship the same god, he is at best confused. This is because satan has stolen the name of Yahweh from God’s people. (John Fisk)

Topic #2   Generic Religion

Every believer must inevitably face the life or death choice of faith. Jesus made an undeniably exclusive claim that He is the only way to the Father. Likewise, Yahweh is the only god who claims to be a Father. This is no generic “we all worship the same god” kind of religion. Jesus is the only way as the unique Son of Yahweh to lead us into an intimate relationship with Yahweh, the Father God. The full personal name of Jesus in Hebrew is Yeshua ben Yahweh!

Topic #1   Osama Bin Laden Changes Course

Once again, the media misses the story. Historically, the most important day of 2007 may prove to be Osama’s last tape in which he radically changes his position. “We will not recognize even one inch for Jews in the land of Palestine as other Muslim leaders have,” says Bin Laden. ”I would like to assure our people in Palestine that we will expand our jihad there.” ”We intend to liberate Palestine, the whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea,” he said, threatening ”blood for blood, destruction for destruction.”

He is now trying to curry favor among radicals. His influence seems to be waning somewhat and he hopes to fire up his supporters. Israel has not been his main goal. However God is drawing him to focus on Jerusalem to call him to the same judgment as the nations. His voice is just one more  opposing Zion. All who are against God’s purpose will be gathered together at Jerusalem for Jesus’  final battle.

Topic #2   What is the big deal?

Background and context are needed to properly get the complication caused by bin Laden’s change. He first became a hero by defeating Russia in Afghanistan. He then accomplished the mind-numbing destruction of the twin towers. He became an almost messianic cult hero to Islamists. Lately, however Ayman Zawahiri, his number two, has begun to eclipse him. Al Qaida Iraq has lost 75% of its influence according to some estimates. There now appears to be an inner power struggle in Al Qaida. But the real action is in the spiritual dimension, where the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is preparing for the final battles! Jerusalem is not the target, it is the prize, according to my friend John Fisk.
