Worshipers Throw Rocks

Temple Mount rock throwers img1067060

The title of this post is a real headline. The Temple Mount/Ramadan annual oxymoron played out again this week. Does anybody notice that worship and throwing rocks sounds like a contradiction? Headlines in the Middle East and especially Israel often make no sense.

Worshipers throw rocks at security forces – Defense establishment preparing for further clashes on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan. Arab rioters threw rocks and shot fireworks at security forces, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets. “Violent clashes broke out on the holy site.”

Clashes erupt at Jerusalem holy sitePalestinians clashed with Israeli police at the Al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem before dawn on Friday as thousands gathered for prayers during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is so ridiculous to state clashes “erupt” or “broke out,” as if it was just a beautiful sunny morning and suddenly, completely unprovoked, a “CLASH” erupted like some mysterious volcano with no warning. It is planned. It is funded. It is as predictable as the sunrise. It is AS IF there are extra points for riots and terrorism during Ramadan. Oh, wait, the Koran does mention something like that.

Ramadan: ‘A Month of Jihad, Conquest, and Victory’ – By Raymond Ibrahim – Speaking on the first day of Ramadan, April 1, 2022, Mahmoud al-Habbash, the Supreme Sharia Judge of the Palestinian Authority, extolled the jihads waged by the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, during Ramadan:

How was this month [of Ramadan] in the life of Prophet [Muhammad]? …Did the Prophet spend Ramadan in calmness, serenity, laziness, and sleepiness? Far be it from him… The Prophet entered the great Battle of Badr [624] during Ramadan… Also in the month of Ramadan, in the 8th year of the Hijra [629-630], the Prophet and the Muslims conquered Mecca… Ramadan is … a month of Jihad, conquest, and victory.

There are videos of the rioters INSIDE the Al Aksa mosque with their shoes on, which is forbidden. They are even seen kicking a soccer ball around INSIDE THE MOSQUE!

Are these worshippers? Give me a break! Only the blinded ones refuse to see the obvious. (There is a lot of that going around these days.) However, this is not a new phenomena. This spiritual blindness is revealed throughout the Bible.

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”  2 Corinthians 4:4

“But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”  1 John 2:11

So I (Isaiah) said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, YEHOVAH of hosts.” Isaiah 6:5

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain, and especially pray for the salvation of all who are willing.

Why the West is Losing to Jihad

6 10 2015

candy 10-2015

The West continues to be clueless as to the source of Muslim hatred. While we are always seeking a “motive” for jihadi terrorist murders, radical Islam marches on. A million refugees flood Europe in a colossal Trojan Horse migration and Europe provides free housing, welfare and medical treatment. After several terrorist murders in Israel this week, the Palestinians were once again handing out candy. Radical Islam is simple Muslims taking the Koran and Hadith literally. They are doing what Mohammed did. They believe in a supremacist world conquering religion that ultimately eliminates all others. Sharia is not only the religious duty of Muslims, it is equally the legal system. The West sees Islam as a benign, even “peaceful” religion. That is a fatal mistake that threatens the foundations of Western civilization which originated in the values of our Judeo/Christian Biblical heritage. Despite our recent straying from our roots, the values of freedom, liberty and responsibility are still in our DNA.

Today, I want you to consider one narrow example of the polar opposite to Biblical values. It is seen in the murder of two Israelis last Saturday in Jerusalem’s Old City. One was a Rabbi, the other a husband and father of two. I am not making this up. It is today’s news and the links are provided in blue highlights.

Palestinian Baby Named in Honor of Jerusalem Stabber: A newborn Palestinian Arab baby has been named in honor of the Arab terrorist who murdered two Jews and wounded three others in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem’s Old City on Saturday night. The Palestinian Authority’s official news agency Wafa was quick to publish a festive birth announcement, PMW also noted. Halabi was lauded in Wafa’s report as a “hero of our people” who had been “assassinated by the army of the occupation.” Also according to Wafa, “while still in the hospital, the mother of the baby called the mother of Martyr Halabi…during the phone conversation, the two mothers cried from joy.”

WAFA, the official Palestinian Authority news agency and the official PA daily newspaper both reported on the joyous naming. Here is the actual article published in both official PA sources (translated by Palestinian Media Watch).

Headline: “Muhannad the newborn hugs Muhannad the Martyr, and the two of them unite the homeland”
“Even before the Martyr (Shahid) Muhannad Halabi was buried, the cry of a baby was heard in a hospital in the Gaza Strip, heralding the birth of a baby named Muhannad Halabi…
The parents of the baby decided to name their new son Muhannad Halabi after the Martyr Halabi from the village of El-Bireh, who was murdered by the occupation’s army in occupied Jerusalem.
While still in the hospital, the mother of the baby called the mother of Martyr Halabi…
During the phone conversation, the two mothers cried from joy: The mother of the baby cried from joy at the birth of her baby, who eternalized the name of the hero among the heroes of our eternal people, and the second mother (i.e., of the terrorist) cried from joy at the birth of the baby that will eternalize the name of her son the Martyr.”
‘I yelled for help and they spat at me,’ says victim of Jerusalem attack: “The terrorist lunged at us, started stabbing my husband, then me. I tried to take away the knife, but I failed… I yelled ‘please help me!’ and they just spat at me,” said Banita of the surrounding Palestinian shopkeepers whom she said looked on and did nothing as Palestinian terrorist Muhannad Halabi attacked her and her family in an alleyway near Lion’s Gate in the Old City. The Banitas’ two-year-old son was also lightly injured in the attack. Their infant girl was unharmed.
End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God. Psalm 7:9 NLT
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all their troubles! Psalm 25:22
