Liberals and feminists lefties in America are all about gender equality. Yet they have no voice when it comes to Muslim treatment of women. You know about male ownership of women, 2nd class rights, genital mutilation and wife beatings. But this new one take the cake. Palestinians claim equality for women to kill Jews.
Palestinian Authority Touts Its Gender Equality For Letting Women Be Terrorists – In fact, the most deadly Palestinian terrorist attack on Israelis ever was led by a woman. In 1978, Dalal Mughrabi and her team of killers from current Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, hijacked a passenger bus on Israel’s coastal highway and executed 37 of the people aboard, including 12 children. Mughrabi has ever since been held aloft as a role model for Palestinian girls.
On International Women’s Day, which was marked earlier this month, the secretary-general of Abbas’ “moderate” Fatah party, Tayeb Abd Al-Rahim, highlighted Mughrabi as evidence of the gender equality in Palestinian society.
“From the outbreak of our revolution in 1965, the outlook of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement – Fatah – has been clear in its social aspect; it saw no difference between women and men, and Dalal Mughrabi who led men is testimony to this,” said Al-Rahim in remarks carried by the official Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida. Right, they are equal in their “social aspect.”
1. relating to, devoted to, or characterized by friendly companionship or relations:
2. seeking or enjoying the companionship of others; friendly; sociable; gregarious.
3. of, relating to, connected with, or suited to polite or fashionable society Dictionary.com
As the famous line in Princess Bride, the movie: “I don’t think that word means what he thinks it means.” The perversion of language is the casualty of the perversion of ideas. If your goal is killing as many Jews as you can (INCLUDING 12 CHILDREN!), then you define equality as equal opportunity murder. God have mercy on the children.
On the other hand we have a stark contrast in equality from the first female Prime Minister of Israel, Golda Meir:
“We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.” Golda Meir Inspiring Quotes
What a difference is seen when one knows the God of Love, Yehovah. He is the source of all righteousness. He is the God of Israel, of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. There is no hope for this wicked and perverse generation apart from Yehovah God and His Son, Yeshua, who gave His life and blood for us as the Lamb of God.
And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Acts 2:40
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, Philippians 2:15
giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:12-14

Abundance of Rain and Tragedy

This week’s flooding rain and hail in Israel was a mixed blessing. It was an answer to prayer for God’s favor (which is often characterized as rain). Yet this time there were 15 deaths from the flooding. The worst incident was ten teenagers on a desert hike on Thursday, with a pre-military program. They were all 18 years old. Two leaders of the trip have been arrested. Nine were girls and one boy died. Israel is in mourning. The other deaths were a Bedouin teen and a Palestinian woman on Wednesday and two young Palestinian children in Hebron, aged 9 & 10 on Friday. We need to pray for all the families. Pray.
However, for so much rain to fall at the end of April is a sign that maybe the five year drought may be ending. We will continue to pray for rain and perhaps include a prayer for safety as well. Here are some of the reports for your interest.

Even in this time of glorious celebration of Israel’s 70th year as a modern nation, they are faced with a tragic time of mourning. Our hearts break for them. I pray that they will experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit and place their trust in the Messiah of Israel. Many hearts are open in Israel as you could see in my previous blog video (below). Yehovah God is still with us even in times of terrible loss. Most of the world this week is abuzz with North Korea and Iran and other news. But Israel has taken a body blow this week.
More than ever today, I ask that you join me to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for rain, but including protection from all kinds of the floods of life.

(Why do I use God’s literal covenant Name: Yehovah? Here is a link to the best simple explanation I know, from my friend, Keith Johnson. Also, here is a link to my book which explains it in detail, The Hebrew God Who Has No Name.)
