Aid money, following $47 million US aid package, to go to Gaza – despite the risk it will end up in Hamas’s coffers. Neither addressed where the aid money will be used, exactly – nor the recent scandal with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which found two Hamas rocket arsenals in its schools since the beginning of the operation and then reportedly gave them back to Hamas.  INN 7-24-14
You can’t make this stuff up. Hamas has fired over 2,000 rockets at Israel in the last two weeks targeting civilians, using their own civilians as human shields. Yet the sappy sympathetic liberals in Western nations are sending millions of dollars to….wait for it….Hamas! The war is still ongoing and they are sending money to the enemy of freedom and liberty.
Our own President gets in on the fun by banning US airlines from serving Israel’s international airport. This while worse conflicts around the world do not see “no-fly zones” imposed. The economic hit on tourism could be devastating for Israel. Hamas rejoices in their “great victory”.
Some of you may be old enough to remember the 1959 movie starring Peter Sellers: The Mouse That Roared. It is a satire based on the premise that a tiny country facing bankruptcy declares war on the United States. They know they will lose and then receive US foreign aid to bail them out of debt. It is a classic Peter Sellers comedy. Yet, here we are in 2014, and it is not a comic movie. It is Hamas reality. Has the world gone mad?
And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith. Deuteronomy 32:20
Yehovah has mingled a perverse spirit in her midst; and they have caused Egypt to err in all her work, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit. Isaiah 19:14
Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore perverse judgment proceeds. Habakkuk 1:4
Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” Matthew 17:17
…that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, Philippians 2:15
