Elisha Vision – Commentary

Back from two weeks of fruitful Kenya ministry. Yehovah God was with us. Sixteen team members from Grace Assembly Wake Forest led by Pastor John Thrift had wonderful unity while fanning out in small teams to speak to as many as 30,000 students in schools, with multiple thousands deciding to follow Jesus. These were then enrolled in follow-up discipleship with Christian teachers.

Also, ministry to widows was a highlight. On Wednesday, I shared a word to widows that they had a special ministry of intercession because God promised them He would hear their cry according to Exodus.

“You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry;” Exodus 22:22-23

I challenged the widows to pray for Kenya, for the peace of Jerusalem, and that Kenya would move their Embassy to Jerusalem. We then distributed enough food for a month for a total of 82 widows and widowers. What a humbling privilege!

We now turn our attention to our Israel tour with 36 members in September. Prayers appreciated.

“If it had not been Yehovah who was on our side,” ​​Let Israel now say— “If it had not been Yehovah  who was on our side, ​​When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive, ​​When their wrath was kindled against us;” Psalm 124:1-3
