Elisha Vision – Commentary

1. My first reaction to President Biden’s Israel visit is good. He generally said the right things other than still holding out for the “two state” idea, which is virtually dead by all accounts. His joint Jerusalem Declaration with Interim Prime Minister Lapid confirmed Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and neglected any idea of dividing the city. He even said his visit to a Palestinian hospital did not indicate any change of status for the U.S. position on Jerusalem. He had a very warm handshake with Netanyahu and a short meeting. We pray now for good news tomorrow in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps against his personal wishes, President Biden is clearly promoting the Abraham Accords. I have stated all along that God is in these Accords and man cannot block what Yehovah is doing.

   “We made a mistake walking away from US influence in the Middle East” – “No change in policy implied” by American-only visit to eastern Jerusalem, says Biden.
