  1. SOUNDS OF MESSIAH? HORNS OF JACOB’S SHEEP BLOWN: For the first time since the Temple stood in Jerusalem, the sounds of shofarot (ram horns) from Jacob’s Sheep were heard in Israel, trumpeting out from the mountains of Naftali, in a powerful chorus that may soon be announcing Messiah in the far corners of the world. (This is worth the read… full story).
  2. Argentina Turns Over Tens of Thousands of Holocaust Documents to Israel: Argentina’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs produced the 139,544 documents mostly between 1939 and 1950.
  3. Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon begins term as UN General Assembly Vice President: With the opening of the 72nd Regular Session of the United Nations General Assembly this week, Danon will preside over a General Assembly session for the first time when Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu addresses the UN next Tuesday (September 19).
“This is what Yehovah says: You have said, ‘This is a desolate land where people and animals have all disappeared.’ Yet in the empty streets of Jerusalem and Judah’s other towns, there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to Yehovah. They will sing,
‘Give thanks to Yehovah of Heaven’s Armies, for Yehovah is good. His faithful love endures forever!’
For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says Yehovah.”Jeremiah 33:10-11 NLT
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
