“Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yehovah for seven days; on the first day there shall be a sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a sabbath-rest. And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yehovah your God for seven days. You shall keep it as a feast to Yehovah for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.”
So Moses declared to the children of Israel the feasts of Yehovah. Leviticus 23:39-44
Four Points
  1. The Feast of Tabernacles is a seven-day celebration of the great joy of harvest and intimacy with our God.
  2. It is and everlasting feast.
  3. We dwell in booths or tabernacles to remember the desert wanderings, but also to look forward to Yehovah making His home among us!
  4. All seven feasts are His feasts. They are not called the feasts of Israel, but the feasts of Yehovah.

Please take the time to listen to my radio interview explaining the seven feasts:

(I have taken the liberty to change the word “LORD” to Yehovah. Every single time you see LORD or GOD in all capital letters in the Old Testament, the actual Hebrew word is Yehovah. This name occurs 6,828 times in the Hebrew text, yet remains untranslated in most Bibles. His name, obscured for 2,500 years, is now being revealed. It is TIME to restore the name of Yehovah!   (for deeper study click here.)
