Here is a simple question. Will all the nations of the world attack Israel in the last great battle? What about sheep and goat nations? Who are they?
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world Matthew 25:31-34
This text clearly speaks of nations (not individuals) who will be separated by the coming Messiah, some to the Father’s Kingdom and some to everlasting punishment.
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels….. And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:41 & 46
The verses I omitted tell the standard of judgement: The nations are judged specifically on how they treat His brothers.
“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” Matthew 25:40
Let me suggest that at least part of this standard is how the nations treat Israel. Of course it would apply to all believers, but includes Israel, His physical brethren. Is this not consistent with Genesis?
“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:3
Therefore, I believe that, even now, nations are judged by how they treat Israel. This is so important that it determines the future of nations in the final judgment day. Please consider what I say. Pray about it seriously.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
