The meltdown of Egypt continues…will Morsi back down or crack down?
We are closely following the Egyptian events in the context of Psalm 83 and Isaiah 19. It is still amazing every day watching prophecy unfold before our eyes. My past commentaries on Egypt are here and here for review. Today we need to zero in on one verse.
“And the Egyptians I will give Into the hand of a cruel master, And a fierce king will rule over them,” Says the Lord, Yehovah of hosts. Isaiah 19:4
Keep your eye on Pharaoh Mohammed Morsi. This week he has been under tremendous pressure to back down from his actions to Islamicize Egypt. I predict he will not back down, but crack down. The crisis is not going to get better, it is destined to spiral down to tragic dimensions. Even the Nile River will be dry all the way to the delta. This Saturday (and also 12-22) is the Sharia constitution vote. Look for things to get ugly after that, an un-civil civil war.
However, make sure you read the end of Isaiah 19 which speaks of salvation and worship of Yehovah, the God of Israel. This will follow the Psalm 83 War, when Israel will rule from the Nile river of Egypt to the Euphrates River in northeastern Syria.

(As is my custom, I have taken the liberty to change the word “LORD” to Yehovah. Every single time you see LORD or GOD in all capital letters in the Old Testament, the actual Hebrew word is Yehovah. This name occurs 6,828 times in the Hebrew text, yet remains untranslated in most Bibles. His name, obscured for 2,500 years, is now being revealed. It is TIME to restore the name of Yehovah!)
