The Jerusalem Post released a brand new poll of Israeli Jews today showing Obama at 12%. Only 12% believe he is pro-Israel while 40% believe he is pro-Palestinian. He has yet to visit Israel as President after one visit during his campaign. Meanwhile, a new Israel National News poll reveals that two-thirds of Israel Arab citizens oppose Israel’s existence!
He exposed his bias last week when he took up the Palestinian demand of the late PLO leader Yasser Arafat about the 1967 borders. (They share another ignominious commonality in that they were both awarded the Nobel Peace prize with dubious earned accomplishments). His walk back at AIPAC was unconvincing, at least to Israeli Jews. It is clear that even some of America’s Jews are having serious “buyers remorse” about his presidency.
Contrast that with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s rock star reception before the joint session of Congress. Israel has hardly had such a commanding statesman in a generation. He made his case with moral clarity not dependent on enticing words, but with the authority of truth. He who speaks with truth in his corner can afford to be gracious; as he was with our president.
Finally, what happened to our President in the UK? His numerous embarrassing gaffes did not look good. I have not heard anyone comment on his travel days changed, due to the Iceland volcano’s ash plume. What makes it interesting, is that it his third foreign trip in a year altered by a volcano. It also happened in Poland and Indonesia. Jesus said that if His disciples stopped praising Him, even the rocks would cry out. Somehow, these volcanoes send a different message.
HERE is the basis of prayer for our leaders, from the Hebrew prophet, Daniel:
That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. He said, “Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.”Daniel 2:19-23.

Les,
In the Iran Has The Bomb article, it sounds like you are advocating an attack by Israel on Iran. If Israel’s intelligence is in agreement with you, we can expect it I’m sure.
God bless.
