Elisha Vision – Commentary

While the political system sputters with errors and indecision, Christians are already on the ground in Liberia bringing hope to the Ebola ravaged country. Operation Blessing (founded by Pat Robertson of the 700 Club) is in full gear operating in country with practical support. They are providing food and chlorine cleaning supplies to families who are in 21-day quarantine. Their efforts have been noticed by The Blaze.com in this excellent article:

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32

The word “exploits” is actually not in the Hebrew text. The point is that the people who know God will be able to act or function at a time when others are stuck in confusion or indecision, like a deer in the headlights, so to speak. Believers will do what is needed when others suffer from “the paralysis of analysis.” (Click here for the Hebrew text and definition.)
