Among the world leaders, President Trump is far ahead in his steadfast support of Israel as America’s friend and best Mid-East ally. Since we are in the Republican National Convention week, it is timely to highlight the proof of Trump’s clear record on Israel compared to the weak Biden position.
Here is a great summary of the proof from Deborah Danan, an Israel-based correspondent for Breitbart News. Please check out her full article (with links) backing up this list.
1. Recognizing Jerusalem as the Israeli Capital
2. U.S. Embassy Transfer
3. Cutting Aid to the corrupt U.N.’s Palestinian Refugee Agency
4. Recognizing Israeli Sovereignty over the Golan Heights
5. U.S. No Longer Deems Settlements Illegal
6. Executive Order Against Antisemitism
7. The Importance of the Comma in Middle East Policy
8. Cutting U.S. Aid to the Palestinian Authority over its Pay-for-Slay Scheme
9. Combating BDS Act
10. Pro-Israel House Resolutions
11. Nixing the Nuclear Deal with Iran
12. Brokering Peace Deals Between Israel and Arab Countries
As we prepare to vote, we need to ask for Holy Spirit confirmation of which choice lines up with the Bible. Soon, I plan to present a comparison of the other policy differences of the two candidates on simple Scriptural grounds. Please keep praying for our country that we will fit into Yehovah’s plan for us and for Israel.
When you pray for Israel there is a boomerang effect (Genesis 12:2-3). If you bless Israel, you are blessed, and the same with the curse. But, this is a principle, not a magic wand.
But Yehovah said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. Yehovah doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but Yehovah looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 NLT
So, we pray for God’s will in our election. And, pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

God’s Curious Warning
18 07 2024When does man get in the way of God’s justice? Two presidents are going on two different paths. We are watching historic events with the attempted assassination of President Trump and the possible removal of President Biden. Of course we should be praying, but this may be a time to keep our hands off what God is doing. Notice the warning in this verse:
We are warned against a certain type of gloating or glee when our enemy falls. God may be upset with our attitude and back away from judging our enemy because of our wrong response. I base this on another verse where even God Himself does not rejoice in His own judgement.
God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked because He grieves over their rebellious failure to turn to Him and live. We must conform our attitude to His. Yes, we are glad that we are free from the enemy attack, but restrain our response with sober recognition of their eternal damnation. Their end is tragic.
Finally, this last verse warns not to exact our own revenge, but leave that to God. It even suggests that if we try to do it, God may step back and withhold His vengeance. The idea of giving “place” for wrath indicates it is His place to avenge us, not our place. Stay in your place and let God do His perfect work.
Historic changes are taking place right before our eyes. Watch, pray, and wait on God. Jesus is moving on the hearts of men by the Holy Spirit. There is virtually universal acknowledgement of “Divine intervention” in the failed assassination of Donald Trump. The name of Jesus is being heard this week more than any political convention I can remember.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and courage for PM Netanyahu to finish the fight.
