Topic # 1 A Time of Judgment
Doreen and I have been reading in Zephaniah 2 and Zechariah 2. Zephaniah speaks judgment: Seek Yahweh, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of Yahweh’s anger. Zeph. 2:3 But, it also speaks of protection, that we may be hidden in that day.
We are now seeing darkness coming on the whole earth. All that can be shaken will shake. Yet, there is a hiding place for those who love righteousness, justice and humility.
The second reference has a powerful and positive proclamation. Many nations shall be joined to Yahweh in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent Me to you. And Yahweh will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem. Zech. 2:11-12
The purpose of judgment is always redemption. The wrath of God is final, but judgment holds out the opportunity for repentance. Pray for our land and for Israel, that we will call on His Son, Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah for mercy.
Topic #2 The Koran’s anti-Semitic Motif Decrees:
…an eternal curse upon the Jews (Koran 2:61 & 3:112) for slaying the prophets and transgressing the will of Al-h. The Koran’s discussion of the Jews is marked by a litany of their sins and punishments, as if part of a divine indictment, conviction, and punishment process…they are the devil’s minions (4:60) cursed by Al-h, their faces will be obliterated (4:47), and if they do not accept the true faith of Islam… (3:113) – they will be made into apes (2:65/7:166), or apes and swine (5:60), and burn in the Hell-fires (4:55, 5:29, 98:6, & 58:14-19) – from Chuck Cohen, Jerusalem
And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth. Exodus 23:13 (If you noticed that I did not spell out the name of the pagan god of Islam, this verse explains why.).

A Sukkah is a Tabernacle for the presence of God!

Vengeance Is Mine

Topic # 1 Revenge Is Reserved to God—A Contrast
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 This principle is affirmed by Paul from its source in Deuteronomy 32:34-35. We are not allowed to take our own revenge, it is for God to do it. If we take it into our own hands, He steps back. But it we let Him, He will defend us and do a more perfect job of it.
Now contrast this with Islam which orders its jihadists to go all over the world avenging their religion, their prophet, their “honor”. This is such a profound opposite of our Judeo-Christian heritage! Jesus says to LOVE our enemies! Do we “all worship the same god”? I think not!
Topic #2 Very Interesting Numbers:
LOVE But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. Matt 5:24
