The F-word has exploded in our culture including even used by some Christians. Even President Trump recently used that word publicly, which inspired this article. What if using that word is giving your voice to demons? Some say the word itself, but others use acronyms such as: WTF “what the f”, M-F “mother-f”, and the newest usage, Fafo “F around and find out”. Don’t be deceived. There is a demonic evil spirt at play no matter how you voice it or write it. What if giving voice to that word is a demonic form of speaking in tongues? Could the devil be saying something in the spiritual dimension more than you mean to say? Using your voice and authority? What we confess with our mouth has supernatural power. Which power are you speaking?
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10
“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:24
I believe the Holy Spirit gave me this word, and I told my brother Ken about it. He said he heard the same word a week ago. Neither of us have heard that from anyone else. I take it seriously.
Also, I heard a word about gossip. What if “conspiracy theories” fell under the category of gossip? The internet is rife with unending theories about every event which get lots of “clicks.” Candace Owens comes to mind. The apostle Paul listed wicked sins in Romans 1 and you may be shocked that gossip is included with the worst sins like hate and murder.
“Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.” Romans 1:29
Please prayerfully consider the words that come out of our own mouth. Are we confessing Jesus and His life and His salvation? Or, our we giving voice and text to a completely different spirit. Repent and change. Stop using it. And pray that our leaders will likewise be convicted and repent.
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Yehovah, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that our leaders will hear from God, have courage, and do the right thing.
