My last (guest) post matched the previous highs of visits to this blog commentary site. Such interest deserves this follow-up. Again, I thank Melinda Fuschetto for her article. I have had good comments both pro and con to the analogy, by phone, email and two good ones on the article comment section. What is your opinion? Please comment at the end of this post.
Now the game is history, won by the Giants. The broad picture of the teams and colors and previous game context made an intriguing meditation. If her vision was about the game, the “wrong” team won. However, if the real purpose was to wake up people to the major challenge of this election; then it was quite profound.
One friend emailed a link to the many reports quoting the wife of the losing quarterback in a shameful and profane rant against other NE Patriot team members. The lesson of her outburst is that true American Patriots during this election need to stand in righteousness. The tiny issue of the game is dwarfed by the sober reality of the choice that will soon be made by this nation.
Many voices are saying that this election is the most important in our lifetime. We better get right with God. Believers actually will decide the outcome in two ways.
First, we must once again repent before God (as we did in the late ’70s): If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Notice both the call and the promise are for God’s people to act, to do something!
The end of the Carter Presidency nearly ruined our nation, but for the mercy of God. This year we are facing an even more desperate national condition. We are staring over a precipice that could be the end of the Untied States of America. Socialist, Marxist, Communist and even worse, Islamist forces are clamoring at the gates. Some have already embedded in the highest positions of power in government, media and academia. PRAY! REPENT! and then STAND for righteousness.
Second, God’s people must vote. If we all listen for God’s voice by the Holy Spirit, and then obey His leading in the voting booth; His choices will be elected all up and down the line. When a king rules a nation, that entire nation is judged by the king’s decisions, as in ancient Israel. However, we are not in a monarchy, but a republic. Our decisions combined determine our national destiny.
Finally, of course, the outcome is in Yehovah God’s Hand. We are fast-moving toward the greatest monarchy of Jesus, Son of God, Yeshua ben Yehovah!
The prophet Daniel got it right:
Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding.” Daniel 2:20-21
May God have mercy on our land. What do you think?

Elisha Vision - Commentary 
There is nothing, absolutely nothing that happens outside of God’s purpose and plan. The people of Yehovah like to divide bad things that happen from good things that happen and attribute the good to God and the bad to satan. Thus they avoid and justify entering into Yehovah’s judgment.
“Why this is bad stuff must be satan doing it to us,” is their cry. “Let pray that God delivers us from this terrible course.” Such was the case with Peter when Jesus told His disciples what was going to happen when they went up to Jerusalem. Peter boldly rebuked Jesus and Jesus called peter, satan and told him to get behind Him. Jesus as much as said that the course of the cross was indeed things orchestrated by God. (Matthew 16:21-23). Go Giants.
The United States is not repenting and the abyss that it is falling into is deeper and deeper. Obama is president because the majority of the people voted him into office. He is the reflection of the people not a repentant people, but an evil, arrogant and self indulgent people and indeed, they choose a leader in their own image. God has a purpose and that is to deliver His people, Pray that you may be found hid in the day of the LORD. To hid: Place your light on a high hill and sound the alarm for the sword of Yehovah is coming upon the United States. The voice of alarm is the voice of redemption. This is the course of the watchmen. Hold on, we are entering His Judgment!

I would say rather that God is always in complete control, we only forget it from time to time. Even in this country, where we think we have the POWER to control elections by our vote. Looking to the rest of the world, Egypt, and others that have been effected by the so called Arab spring, I would say that the Lord allowed President Obama into office to have His way in the world. When President Obama called for Egyptian President Mabarack to step down (one of our allies) I believe that that was God’s will and with Obama in office it came to fruition. I don’t believe had that happened during President Bush’s terms that his response would have been the same. The same thing happened to Egypt of old:
Romans 9:17
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
I would also bring attention to Romans 13. I believe that the leaders of this country or ordained and are the very ministers of God. They are there where they need to be and at what time they need to be there to accomplish His purposes.
